Go on vacation, they said. We can watch Gotham, they said. Just go hang with and adjust to caring for kids, they said. Yeah, well no one said anything about getting cursed while at the vacation lake house, which okay, fine. But did it have to affect the kids too? 

Bruce pressed his head in his hands, groaning in dismay as the children practically zoomed around the surrounding water with enthusiastic trills and squeals he could somehow understand. And through the air, to their increasing delight. Okay. Okay this is fine. 

It wasn’t like he also somehow now had an extra child who looked like one at most that he had no clue as to where they came from. Said child wasn’t squirming in his arms, black scales and tiny fins akin to the setting of a sun twisting as they chirped. Definitely not. 

Okay. Alright. He could figure this out. Probably…. hopefully…

Thunder and Clear Sky are fighting and oh no! Clear Sky seems to be winning? But what’s this?? IT’S SLASH WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!

Funny enough I WAS actually planning a moment like that with the Wind Coalition. I might shuffle it now...

It was going to be one of the first times Bumble really showcases how good her ability to translate is. Thunder Storm was trying to painfully negotiate with Shadow's Group, or gets in some scuffle with Sky's Clan again (was still working out the details) and JUST as it seemed lost, Bumble shouted "HELP! MURDER!" in Parkmew, causing a cluster of WindCo cats to burst to the rescue

But maybe instead I can shuffle it so that there's a moment towards the very, very end of the diplomacy section where Clear Sky brings his WHOLE forces to destroy the tiny Clan, and THAT is when Thunder and Slash realize they've been pitted against each other.

Hmm... maybe I should back up and cause some sections in that diplomacy arc where Tall Shadow and The Wind Runner offer what Thunder needs in their talks, in exchange for being mercenaries against Slash's cats. Thunder accepts several times, since he was in Clear Sky's group where he "saw that it's true, theyre violent and aggressive..."

Show how it can benefit him to accept what the other groups believe about Slash and his cats, but also REJECT it by showing that in the end, it oppresses BOTH Thunder and Slash to be fighting each other and Thunder was completely wrong to accept their words at face value.

Thunder Storm isn't immune to being an enforcer of the systems he created a Clan to reject.

I think it would also be really good form to change Slash's name a little, because he's SO BAD in the original text, just to differentiate what I'm doing with him.

Hmm... since none of the other groups seem to have a Leader Power yet since they're so new, maybe SLASH and his group is the one with a little bit of magic? I could have Slash be able to die a couple of times.

I could have the white marks on his legs spread up every time he takes damage. Instead of straightforward "lives," however bad it was determines how vertical the slash is. So a REALLY bad death stands straight up, while every drain from weakness or starvation just loops around the leg.

Kinda like one of those heartbeat monitors.

Maybe the other groups call him Slash because of that, but it's not his real name...

The absolutely amazing @yoroiis made me constellations for three of my OCs on this blog and I’m still just- I love them so much??? <3 She’s nothing if not incredibly talented and I love her so much for these and will be eternally thankful for them - Especially since there’s actually more coming! We’re still looking at doing up ones for not only two more OCs here, but also Sera @sakurarisen​!

In this batch though is Neofelis, Aceline’s Clouded Leopard anemo con, Rubeum Lupus, Cettra’s red wolf pyro con, and Tempestas Caprae, Kagota’s electro storm goat con! Mako grimaced; today had been unpleasant, to say the least. The Allagan kingdom had enemies everywhere, which made keeping T'sori, the prince and next heir to the throne, safe that much harder. Blood had stained her armor, which the Au Ra had grown accustomed to, but it didn't mean that each death wasn't affecting her. Some of those people were simply carrying out orders. They had no idea what they were getting themselves into. None of them did, which was a bitter reminder of how T'sori, and she had never asked to be the Prince and shield. Her role as his bodyguard required her to ensure his safety at all times. The King didn't seem to like her particularly much. On that fateful day years ago when she vowed to be T'sori's defender. At first, his parents looked opposed to the notion, almost as though they were concerned about how close the two were.

Mako had grown up as T'sori's best friend; it was only after his eyes were awakened that the young prince was forbidden from visiting her. In reality, they were either afraid of a threat or merely did not trust the Au Ra. Anyone who came into contact with T'sori and Mako noticed that the two were in love. Their emotions, however, were continually pushed to the side due to their obligations. It made finding time to spend with each other that much more difficult. The King and his soldiers were always keeping an eye on the paladin, ensuring she was never truly alone with T'sori. It did nothing but raise Mako's blood pressure.

"Our love... It shouldn't be a crime, yet I am unable to touch him without a glance in my direction. He is a royal prince. I am his shield. That's all we're going to ever be."

Mako gently laid down on her bed, trying hard to sleep, but that was a luxury she didn't have much of these days. The Paladin was about to give up on sleeping tonight when she felt the bed shift slightly. She turned and saw that T'sori was lying down behind her.

"T’sori, you know we aren’t allowed to be in one another's room this late," Mako said as she felt his arms wrap around her and gently bring her back into him. They fit together perfectly, like two halves of a whole. It was never about duty to him; the prince loved her beyond anything else. He had always shown that, even when they were kids.

'You didn't come back to me after your mission. I was concerned that something had happened to you.

That was right, Mako had promised to report back to T'sori after the mission but ended up getting into a very heated argument with his father. A part of the Paladin wanted to tell him about it, but the other simply wanted to cherish this moment they had with each other. The woman thoughts were paused, as she felt his lips against her neck.

"T'sori..if your parents saw us like this, I would be executed for disobeying their orders..." It was so hard to resist him, when the prince treated her so gently. Turning, she faced the other, cuddling into his chest. It was only then that she could see that tender look in those red rubies of his.

'Mako...I missed you all day..please let me take care of you for once. All you have ever done is protect me, even when we were kids. At least let me give the woman I love everything I have.." whispered T'sori as he cupped her face, thumbing it gently.

How could Mako resist him, when he had her entire heart and soul. She would be anything for him, do whatever it takes to ensure he lived. Reaching up her hand held onto his, smiling as she leaned closer, their foreheads touching. Surely, after all they had given up, it was alright to take this moment to hold one another. To finally give in to those feelings they felt for years..the yearning. How the slight touch of his fingers sent a shock throughout her entire body.

Slowly, Mako allowed their lips to tough lightly, a part of her still afraid to allow themselves to express such affections. It wasn't something she was entirely used to, but for T'sori she would allow her heart to flutter at his presence. T'sori leaned closer, allowing himself to trail kisses up and down her neck. Their hands intertwined together, as Mako closed her eyes. It was difficult to say no to him when he acted so cute.

It was so quick, as Mako felt his fingers snap something around her neck. It took paladin a moment before glancing down to see a beautiful red blossom pendant.
