I was combing through the game assets again and found this cute little thing, titled 2020CJ. My guess is that along with the rice cooker, heater and fridge, those are unused assets created in 2020, probably to promote the game but then was not used in the end

the texture was not put onto the 3d model, so I had to brush up my rusty 3d skills and slap the texture on myself, the final model looks like this:

it's not a super clean clean up, the best I can do for now

I wonder what the original purpose of this game model was, it's very cute!

Hi, sorry for the sudden ask! I saw your post about Shen Monkey, those screenshots of him from different angles. I was wondering if it would be possible to do the same with the Spider Sisters in the game, as you seem to have access in game? I want to learn their hanfu (which all 5 of them seem to be wearing different clothes from different periods of the Tang Dynasty, but I'm not quite sure) and have them as a reference to draw from, but the video cutscenes in the game are quite dark and rarely show their full bodies. Even when they did, they shot it in low light (the wedding scene) or bright but from a distance (final boss chapter 4). I'm trying to find out if anyone has ripped their models from the game, but to no avail. I was wondering if it's possible for you, but if it's a burden then feel free to ignore this request! Thanks in advance! 🍑

Hi! I don't think I will be able to take screenshots from the spider sisters within the game - I have close ups from Shen Monkey because he hangs on a tree while you fight off the snake patroller for him, so from there I can pause the game and grab screenshots.

I don't think we get that for the spider sisters.

That being said, I have access to the game assets, I'll just need to find the time to comb through the files and find them (I don't think i found every single spider sister but there were some).

If that helps, I can take screenshots and tag you in the post :)

Another paperback-to-hardcover rebind

First time layering HTV vinyl, I think it turned out pretty well! The spine title and author names are done with reflective vinyl, which means if you turn on flashlight and look through the camera, the names will be more visible (see second video). I thought it was a nice touch to the book.

one of my friend pointed out that it is giving The Hermit vibe, but I really wanted to showcase the gourd he carries on his back and the best way for me was to do it side view

He is a fortune teller being able to predict future events but lamenting that there is nothing he can do to change it. His gourd brews its own alcohol, and he often drinks himself to stupor.

In the game, he is the last journal entry to be unlocked after you have unlocked aaaall the other entries, and he is also the last page. He is also the one who wrote and illustrated all the journal entries.

That's why I assigned him to The World, as it is the last card in the Major Arcana deck (not counting The Fool), and he is the one giving us the full lore in the form of the journal entires :)

I'm finally doing it!! Gonna try to illustrate a Major Arcana deck featuring Black Myth Wukong Characters. The Major Arcana has 22 cards which should be more doable for me than doing 70+ cards for the entire deck. I think after I've finished the Major Arcana, I will tackle some cards inthe Minor Arcana depending on which character I feel like drawing and which one I think will fit the card.

Also working with limited color palettes for each card
