the first thing the team had noticed was the energy shift when spencer walked into the bullpen two minutes late. this was an odd occurrence for the man who stuck to his routine conscientiously. he hated being late, and it had only happened once so far in his career with the BAU. derek morgan had worsened the blow that day by slapping spencerâs back and making a joke about a late night. spencer, of course, choked and flushed bright red. then, he shut down immediately and remained closed off from embarrassment for most of the day. his explanation of why he came in late would never suffice to derek, who was convinced his favorite pretty boy had found a late night escapade. by the end of the day, even penelope was asking if he had found a special friend. so after the first time, spencer set his alarm half an hour earlier to guarantee it would never happen again. and it hadnât, until today.
the second thing they had noticed was that he did not seem bothered by his untimely arrival. the first time he was late, he glanced nervously at gideonâs office as if he was waiting for a scolding about a few measly minutes. they remembered words spilling from his lips as soon as he rushed through the door, apologies and explanations tangling together in a flurry as he flung his messenger back onto the back of his chair.
this morning, three days after the holiday, spencer strolled in late like it was his daily routine. he looked well-rested, unusually so. he was not plagued by the usual nervous energy that surrounded him. instead, he almost seemed giddy.
when he made it to his chair and set down a light yellow travel mug on his desk, derek morgan immediately invaded his area of the office.
âreid.â he said shortly, eyeing the other man with calculated suspicion.
âmorgan?â spencer questioned, and derek was already profiling. clearly flushed cheeks, a slight glow to the skin. he was also sporting slightly unkempt hair - and peeking out behind the collar of his shirt was some kind of black ink.
âwhatâs going on with your neck?â he pointed to the back of spencerâs plaid button-up.
âmy neck?â spencer instinctively brought his hand up to the back of his head, feeling around for a bug or a stray hair. there was nothing. when he realized what derek was talking about, he blanched completely.
spencer had woken up completely rested, although late, this morning after another night of your doodles on his back. the marker had indeed done its job in lulling him to sleep. in his rush to make it to the bullpen on time, he had forgotten to wash it off of his skin.
âwhat about my neck?â he squeaked out in a half attempt at feigning disinterest.
âyou look like youâve seen a ghost, pretty boy. you must know what iâm talking about.â derek teased relentlessly. spencer decided to stall.
âactually, the lack of blood flow to the skin is a nervous system response called pallor and it can result from many things like anemia, poor nutrition, frostbite-â derek placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, making him pause.
âthe ink, genius. you got a back tattoo over the holiday?â
âno! i - well, yes. um⊠sure?â spencer choked out. he hadn't told the team about you yet. not that he didn't want to, it just never came up.
âoh, penelope, baby girl you have got to see this!â derek headed towards penelopeâs office, practically skipping. it would have been hilarious if it wasnât at his own expense. at the commotion, jj and elle headed over to his desk to participate.
"a back tattoo? i never would have thought you would go for that, reid," elle commented, leaning towards him slightly. he rolled his chair back, standing up suddenly.
"its not! tattoos are extremely painful and require extensive research and my skin is sensitive. its- my partner, okay? theyâre.. an artist. its - i, this is highly unprofessional! i'm making coffee," spencer sputtered, turning on his heel.
"partner? you?" derek froze in place. him and penelope had arrived at the perfect time to see spencer raise his arms to comb through his hair in exasperation. as he did, his shirt rose slightly. at the bottom of his back lay an expanse of red marks, accompanied by a small cursive word.
penelope squealed loudly, causing spencer to drop his arms and scurry off to the break room.
she was practically bouncing on her heels. "his back said mine, derek!"
"is anyone going to mention he already has coffee?" jj added.
"and that is not his mug."

PROLOGUE:
Our family isnât too big. Ever since my grandparents moved to their cottage by the lake, It's just been the three of us. I don't even bring my teammates or friends home. And all the peacefulness is about to change.Â
âAhh Shit- Sorry!â the fumbling buffoon said.Â
âLanguage, sweetheart. David! Could you help him pick it up? I'm tidying up the kitchen,â My mom replied.Â
âComing!â My dad sprints down the stairs.Â
âOh, Pumpkin, you're all grown up! Are you prepared for the semester?â Dad gestured to the culinary tools scattered across the floor.Â
âYes, of course. Sorry about the mess,â he replied. The âPumpkinâ in question is my cousin, Theo. He's about to attend a college in the city to study culinary arts⊠or something. And, of course, heâs sharing the room with me. Not for long, though. I have a few buddies who have invited me to share a room with them. They reek, but it's a necessary evil.Â
âJay,â my dad asked, nudging me, âRemember when you guys used to play house together every summer?âÂ
âYes, then he bit me and we never talked again,â I deadpanned.Â
âOh come on, he was just a kid,â Dad retorted.Â
No, he wasn't. He was a little demon that stole my pretend credit card. My hand still itches thinking about that vicious attack.Â
I put down Theoâs luggage and bit back the argument. âI'll go back to the car to see whatâs left.âÂ
âAlright bud, thanks for the help.â
âNo problem.â He could probably thank me by asking what happened at football camp, but what do I know? It's not like we haven't talked about football the entire summer. We could be doing that right now, on the deck with some ice-cold beer. But the twinky little âPumpkinâ needs help, and I have the muscle for it.Â
God, I wish the summer was over already.

âHahahaha Exactly! I have never seen ChloĂ© like that before.â Dad laughed.
âRight? Who knew mom had sass in her.â
Mom's competitiveness was kicked off by Theo's presence. The kitchen has basically been a war zone for the past two weeks.
Looking down at my watch, the light flashes on.
6 kilometres down, 5 more to go.
Itâs been a while since Iâve had a good morning run with Dad like this one. The ocean breeze flowing past my hair and the faint rays of sunrise brought back some old memories.Â
Regulating my breathing, we slowed down for a second.
âDamn, son - your stamina has gotten so much better this past year.â
âThe football camp really made you put up 20 pounds of pure muscles too, Iâm glad I recommended you there.â Dad beamed proudly at me.
âYouâre not too bad yourself, for an aging old man.â
I still get the same rush every time he compliments me. Itâs like a reassurance that Iâm doing something right.
âHahahaha, you wonât be saying that when youâre one foot in your 40s; itâs basically death by fossilization.â
Dad has always been modest with his body, but everyone who knows him either admires his body, wants him, or is jealous of him and I am the same. Ever since high school Iâve been inspired to be like him. Even with the 15 pounds of muscle I have over him, Iâm still lacking in so many ways. He just has the confidence to own it.
âWant some water?â
âOh, right, of course. Thanks.â I took over the ice-cold bottle.
âAbout that training camp, I should request the school board to have the team register next summer for the training course. High school kids these days don't care about sports as much no more.â Dad said
âSpeaking of which, remember your friend Lancaster who got held back for two years?â
âYeah, Avery. He used to scold me when I didnât take the nutrition classes with him. Havenât hung with him in a while though.â
âWell, he probably wonât scold anymore. The kid got too cocky after getting a full sports scholarship and gained 70 pounds of fat in the summer. The university probably revoked the funds. Hope he didn't take it too hard.â
âShit, thatâs awful. I didnât expect it to be him out of anyone. He was a damn good receiver.â
We resumed the pace, avoiding some rogue cyclists on the way.
Crazy to think the weight could creep up on Avery Lancaster of all people. I should watch out for myself too. I have good genes from dad so it probably will never happen, but the new influx of delicious food from Theo and my momâs little competition definitely doesnât help. At least it keeps the brat out of my room.
âDad, I think Iâm not going to move in with Brad and the guys.â
âWhy the sudden change of heart?âÂ
âWell first of all, as much as I love them, the guys stinks. Second of all, Theo is not as much of a blood-sucking gremlin as he was before. And I donât think Iâm ready to say goodbye to you guys.â
âPlus, How can I leave when the thing with mom just got interesting.â
âStaying for the family drama, huh?â He chuckled.
âWeâre happy to have you for as long as you want, Jay. Truth be told, your mom has been crying about it for weeks. Weâre both not ready to say goodbye too.â
âTell you what, Chloe and Theo probably have some fancy lasagnas waiting for us back home; let's cut through the forest and head back early to celebrate.â He said, practically drooling.
âLasagnas for breakfast?â
âWait, You just want the Lasagnas. Donât you?â
âHahaha, Maybe.â
âWell, donât get too drawn in, or youâll end up as Hansel in the candy house.âÂ
He laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world.
That would be funny to imagine though, cause Dad is anything but a glutton.

A giant FU stares up at you.
Well, actually, itâs only an F, but it may as well be the former with the way itâs circled in thick, red ink.
Three. Fucking. Times.
Tears sting the back of your eyes but you refuse to let them fall. It never feels good, failing, and even if youâd gotten a C+ like you hoped, you wouldâve still beaten yourself up over the grade because plain and simple: thatâs who you are.
Two months ago, at the beginning of the semester, psychology had seemed like a breeze. The lectures were easy to listen to and intriguing, and you had no trouble following along with the professorsâ slideshows as you took detailed notes of everything on the screen. Your assigned readings were completed in a similar state, though they werenât graded but included important information youâd find on the tests.
Somewhere along the line, your grade slipped, and you donât remember if it had been between studying for Biology or reveling in your newfound freedom away from your parents, partying and enjoying a true college experience with your roommates.
Whatever happened, the repercussions are hitting you right in the face, the taunting letter you have never seen before on any of your assignments throughout all your years of learning.
If your parents saw this, they would bring the entire house down with their scolding.
Itâs not like you didnât try. You studied, even if the word is a loose term for what material you used. Things started piling up this month, with it being a new semester and all. You didnât schedule out the time to focus on psychology when the classes you were really interested inâIntroduction to Nutrition and Kinesiologyâtook first and second place for your attention. Plus, with the number of social events your best friendsâwho are also conveniently your roommatesâinvited you too, it was almost impossible to say no. Friends are a vital part of the college experience and you were in desperate need of some fun after having spent the summer lounging at home with your parents.
You found a psych support group that met at the library once a week to study together. It wasnât anything like you thought it would be, a bunch of clueless students with grades similar to yours. All they seemed to want to do with your precious time was bitch and moan about the professor instead of actually trying to conquer the areas of study for the upcoming test.
And now the consequences of your actions have made themselves known.
Grumbling, you shove the test into your binder before shutting it with a snap that does nothing to ease your frustration. A few students still trail from the room, though most bolted right after being released. Some linger at the bottom of the lecture hall where the professor sits, answering their questions.
You have about a million-and-one of your own but youâre too worked up about your grade to go down there and hash it out with Mr. Hybern. His peppery colored hair is perfectly coiffed on this terrible day, his beard trimmed close to his jowls. His gleaming, golden skin makes you think that maybe heâd spent his weekend grading tests out in the sun, and you have half a mind to stomp your way down the stairs and demand a second review of your test.
It wouldnât solve your irritation, and it would certainly be embarrassing if in fact your F is correct.
Placing your binder, notebook, and pens back into your bag, you zip it, sling it over your shoulder, and make your way to the exit, holding your chin high because if thereâs one thing youâre not going to do, is cry over your terrible, awful grade in public.
The waterworks will just have to wait until youâre locked in your private bedroom in your shared dorm.
There is good news. Itâs Friday, which means you can snag the pint of your favorite ice cream that your roommates wonât dare touch because âno ice cream thatâs worth it should have fruit in it, thatâs like asking for a steak on your spaghetti.â You have no idea what Morâone of your roommatesâwas on about when she brought up the awful comparison, and in reply all youâd done is scooped out a chunk of cherries embedded into the creamy, pink goodness and stuffed it into your mouth.
With it being the weekend, you can also wallow well into the night without having to worry about hiding your puffy eyes in the morning. Youâll have all day tomorrow to figure out a plan of action, once you allow yourself the time to properly grieve and processâŠand maybe have a drink or two.
You shoulder through the heavy lecture hall door with your head down, hiding the red stain to your cheeks. So, maybe youâre not going to hold you head high as you trail back to your dorm, but you will not cry.
The door swings open and you barely catch the noise of surprise before youâre barreling into something thatâs akin to a brick wall. Your breath leaves your body in a whoosh and your balance slips out from under you, arms flailing as you fall.
You squeeze your eyes shut, bracing for impact, but it never comes.
Slowly, mortified because you know exactly whatâs cushioned your fall, you peek your eyes open, carefully meeting a sapphire gaze that surely would take your breath away should you have any left.
This close, you can see the perfection of his angular features: a long, straight nose, high cheekbones under the dusting of pink that caresses his own face. His lashes are dark as charcoal, the same color of his hair that looks as soft as silk.
Whatever it is that has you entranced by his beauty, the sentiment seems to be mutual. Those bright eyes trace across your features, carefully drinking you in. You donât know if youâre thankful that your face is already as red as the marker on your test or if you want him to see the way your cheeks go molten.
Thereâs a warmth against your hips that you donât notice until he speaks, his hands that have a solid grip around you, keeping you steady to his chest. His whispered breath brushes across your lips. âBy all means,â he teases softly, âTake your time.â
âOh, my Gods, I am so sorry,â you squeak, rolling off his chest. You can hear his chuckling as you scramble to climb to your feet, but your knees are so weak at the sightâand touchâof the most handsome man youâve ever seen lifting gracefully to his feet, holding a hand down to help you up.
You try not to notice just how big his hand is in yours, and for the second time today, you fail.
âDonât worry about it, darling,â he says, displaying an easy grin that makes your heart stutter in your chest. The door opens with a loud click and the both of you startle. His hand comes down warmly on your spine, ushering you out of the way of the student thatâs beaming grin falters into apology at the idea of almost running you down, already on the phone with someone and gushing over their test result.
Itâs hard to reign in your glare.
The studentâs conversation seems to jolt the man out of his stupor. He blinks, shaking his head as if to rid him of a spell you might have cast on him, or maybe heâs testing to see if he has a concussion from the fall.
When he returns his attention to you, it takes everything in your power not to melt into a puddle beneath that gaze.
âIs Mr. H still passing out tests?â he asks, and you swallow the sourness that accompanies the name of your professor. You and he are not on good terms right now, not that this boy knows that.
âYeah,â you answer, remembering you saw him sitting on his throne (desk chair) with his loyal citizens (students) kissing his feet (talking through their tests). âI think so.â Then, because youâre pretty sure you would remember a face like his if he were in your lecture, you ask, âAre you in this class?â
âNo,â he answers with a scoff that tells you he breezed by this class. âI took Psych 101 freshman year, but I have Professor Hybern again for Cognitive Psychology and I need to turn in my paper early.â
Turning in a paper early? What is he, some kind of genius?
âOh,â you answer lamely, âCool.â
His answering grin cracks open the casing of the butterflies you didnât know were living in your stomach, taking off in a flurry of emotion.
He shrugs like he couldnât really care less about any of it, but to you, the fact that heâs managed to pass Psych 101 at all is an impressive feat, though you donât know why heâd sign up for even more torture. âSure. Look, Iâve got to run, but are you sure youâre okay?â
Itâs nice of him to ask if youâre okay when heâs the one who had his back painted to the floor only moments ago. âYeah, Iâm fine, but I should be the one asking you that. Are you okay?â
His laughter is rich and warm, and you want to melt into it. Before you have the chance to make even more a fool of yourself in front of this handsome stranger, he answers. âIâve been checked harder, darling. You have a nice day now.â
âThanks, you too,â your words trail off as he catches the door on its next outswing, ducking inside without waiting for your response.
Jeeze, he must really be in a rush, then.
Itâs when you exit the doors to the psychology building that you curse yourself. You shouldâve gotten his number, his name at least. You couldâve invited him over for something more distracting and yummier than the ice cream youâd planned on demolishing.
At least you have something better to think about tonight than your test.
With a heavy sigh, you allow your backpack to fall off your shoulder. Now that youâve arrived back to your dorm, youâre suddenly feeling more exhausted than ever.
The walk home from class had been nice, your time spent thinking about the boy youâd run into. The broadness of his shoulders you didnât seem to notice until he turned away, stretching wide beneath his tight t-shirt. The bulge of his biceps beneath said t-shirt, flexing as he pulled the door open for himself. The shape of his ass in those snug jeans.
The sight of that is what had your eyes nearly popping from your head. Whatâs he doing that gives him such a bubblicious ass? Squats? Lunges? You can do those. You choose not to, but if thereâs a guarantee that youâd have an ass like that, youâd start right this second.
Tucking your lip into your mouth in concentration, you plant your hands on your hips, making your way to the refrigerator that your ice cream is housed in, lunging your way there.
Itâs not that far, the communal space in your shared dorm is small, but your heartrate is elevated by the time youâre two lunges away from your prize: your ice cream.
âWhat the hell are you doing?â
âMother!â You shout as the voice of your roommate breaks your concentration. Your knees wobble and your thighs shake, unable to hold you up from the burst of exertion you used. You clearly need to get into the gym more, another thing to add to your already busy schedule. âYou scared me!â
Mor rolls her chocolate-brown eyes, sliding into one of the stools at your counter. Itâs not built for it, the laminate countertop doesnât hang over the island far enough for your legs to fit, but you and your roommates thought they were cute, nonetheless. You can suffer having to hunch over your knees to reach your cereal bowls in the mornings in favor of having more space for company to sit.
When you haul yourself off the ground, you take in your roommate. Sheâs wearing some kind of jersey, one youâve never even seen in her wardrobe before, and you probably spend more time in there than her because she has every item of clothing you could ever imagine. The top sheâs wearing now totally clashes with everything that screams Mor: silk scarves, tight bodice tops, leather pants, and what she has on now isnât even red, a color thatâs a staple in her closet.
âWell, if you were paying attention,â she scolds playfully, flipping open the compact in her hand, checking her makeup in the tiny mirror. She makes a few faces that would make you chuckle if you didnât notice how she looks like sheâs ready to go out, and that means sheâs going to try to drag you with. âYou wouldâve heard me walk into the room. I am wearing heels, you know.â
Of course you know. Mor doesnât do sneakers, only when itâs five in the morning and the sun is still sleeping, the perfect time for working out where nobody will catch her. Maybe I should join her, you think, mind wandering back to that boyâs butt.
âWhy are your cheeks all red?â She asks, planting her palms on the counter and leaning towards you, eyes narrowed in inquisition.
âNothing,â you wave her off, reaching for the door to the freezer. Itâs the last thing between you and the cherry chunk ice cream calling your name.
Before you can open it more than an inch, it slams closed, Morâs sharp, bright red fingernails splayed out to stop you.
Damnit, how does she move so silently?
âWhat do you think youâre doing?â You question each other at the same time, biting back your smiles at the mistake.
She answers first. âWhy do you look like youâre about to get the ice cream, put your pajamas on, and wallow in bed all night?â
âBecause thatâs exactly what Iâm going to do,â you cross your arms over your chest defiantly. âSo, if youâll excuse meâŠâ You trail off, hoping sheâll step away and leave you to your peace.
She doesnât. Thatâs not Mor.
âI had a rough day!â
âYou say that every day,â she whines, stomping her heel-clad foot. âDonât you even want to know what Iâm inviting you to tonight?â
âFrom the look of your clothes, no, I donât want to know what youâre doing tonight, Mor, and no, I donât want to join you, either.â
Your roommate scrunches her nose, tipping it towards the ceiling. âIâll have you know that this outfit is cute.â
âYeah, if the definition of cute changed to ânot pleasing or appealing to look at.ââ
âYou take that back,â Mor shouts, full naming you.
As your lips part in apology, because that was rude of you, your other roommate pads out of her room. Her reading glasses are perched up on her nose, blue eyes round and wide, and it always looks like sheâs looking around the room in wonder. She has a blanket thrown over her shoulders and looks every bit of cozy you wish you were.
âGwyn,â you sigh in relief at the sight of her. âPlease, help.â
âI already said no,â she offers you a sympathetic wince. âI donât think thereâs any getting you out of the hockey game, sorry babe.â
Now itâs your jaw that falls to the floor. No, it falls through the floor and about five more floors down, hitting the lobby with a crack that echoes through the building.
You whirl on Mor. âHockey game? Since when have you been interested in hockey?â
âSince my cousin got named team captain this year,â she says smugly, and you donât know why sheâs acting vain, it just means that heâs captain of the douchebags now, even you know that. Mor turns, showing off the back of her jersey. The number one stands out like a beacon, and you brush her blonde hair over her shoulder to read the smaller patches spelling out what is in fact, her family name.
Cunningham.
âThink of all the parties weâll get into,â she says over her shoulder, and she does have a point there. The athletes at your college are a group of students that you donât ever interact with, nor do you care. Mor is all about connections though, and if she wants to go to the hockey game, then it looks like youâre going with her.
You wonder what excuse Gwyn used to get out of it. She looks mighty comfy right now, slinking over the plop down on the couch and turn on a movie.
âWhy do we have to go to the game? Canât we just go to the parties?â You ask, grasping for anything to get out of this. You donât want to go sit in the cold arena and watch a bunch of guys wearing full-body padding slide up and down the ice. Why couldnât her cousin have been on the baseball team? They have nice, tight uniforms.
âBecause,â Mor emphasizes with a glare, spinning to face you once more to give you the full effect of her irritation. âIâm a good cousin, and if we donât attend the games, weâre going to be blacklisted from the parties,â she grumbles, the fight leaving her a little bit. âIâve already argued about it with Rhys, I donât want to have to argue with you too.â
Itâs with your sigh that Mor brightens. âFine. Iâll come with you, but Iâm not going to be happy about it. And donât expect me to cheer.â
Her squeal pierces the sound barrier. What the fuck have you gotten yourself into?
Mor grabs your hand, dragging you towards the empty single room thatâs left in your dorm. She uses it as an extension of her closet until someone else gets placed with you. So far, youâve been lucky, living here since freshman year, just the three of you. âGreat! I got you a shirt!â

the door swings open, and a younger woman steps inside. sheâs tan ans her ponytail is loose from the amount of running she had to do. she looks tired.Â
sheâs in training gear, a barcelona crest proudly emblazoned on her shirt, and you realize quickly that this is one of the players you will be assigned to throughout the season.Â
âhey, iâm kika,â she says with an easy grin, eyes catching yours for a moment longer than expected.Â
âcoach told me to come get checked out. i felt fine before coming to training but now i feel kinda off.â
you clear your throat, forcing a smile as you motion for her to take a seat on the examining table.Â
âsure. iâm y/n by the way. let's see what's going on. what kind of symptoms are you experiencing?â
she hops up onto the table, the movement casual and fluid, like she owns the place.Â
âjust... queasy, i guess? and a bit light-headed. probably nothing, but you know how it is. they don't take chances with us.â

you bite back a laugh, shaking your head as you gently place the stethoscope on her back. âbreathe in for me.â
kika does as sheâs told, and you listen carefully to her breathing, trying to focus on the steady rhythm of her heartbeat rather than how close you are to her. how you can feel the warmth of her skin through the stethoscope.
âall good?â kika asks, turning her head slightly, a smirk playing on her lips. âor are you just trying to spend more time with me?â
âall good,â you reply, feeling your face heat up just a bit. you step back and busy yourself with making notes on your clipboard.Â

she swings her legs back and forth, the motion easy and casual, but there's something in her eyesâsomething playful, curious.Â
âwell, i donât mind. you can do all the checks you want.â
you pause, pen hovering over your clipboard. it would be so easy to play along, to let yourself fall into the rhythm of kikaâs teasing. but you rememberâyou're supposed to be professional, and the last thing you need is to get wrapped up in some kind of... situation with a player. and yet, as you glance up and catch her gaze, itâs like she can see right through you.
âso... y/n, how longâs this internship?â kika continues, leaning back on her hands, the movement making her seem even more relaxed, more comfortable in your space than you are.
âjust for the fall,â you say. âthen it's back to classes in the spring.â
âhmm. a shame. guess iâll just have to get to know you real quick, huh?â
you canât help the small laugh that escapes you, shaking your head as you reach for a thermometer.Â
âopen up,â you say, trying to maintain your composure. kika obediently opens her mouth, and for a moment, there's silence as you take her temperature.Â
itâs hard not to notice the way she watches you the whole time, her gaze lingering on your face, your hands.

she hops down from the table, but instead of heading for the door, she takes a step closer to you, close enough that you can smell the faint scent of her sweat and the grass from the pitch.Â

your breath catches, and for a moment, you're caught between stepping back and stepping forward. thereâs something intoxicating about herâher confidence, the way she speaks to you like she already knows you'll say yes to whatever she asks.Â

âwell,â you manage to say, clearing your throat as you put some space between you.Â
âletâs keep things professional, okay? i don't want to get in trouble.â

you feel your heart race at her words, but you force a laugh, shaking your head as you move to open the door for her. âgoodbye, kika. remember to rest and drink water.â

youâre saved by a knock on the door, and you practically leap back as ellie pokes her head in, interrupting the moment.Â

don't wash your hair every day! i think everybody knows this but i know a couple people who still dont wash their hair only 2-3 times a week. obviously it depends on ur hair type but only wash your hair when it needs it!
don't wash your hair with scalding hot water either. its not only bad for your body and face but its also bad for your hair as it ruins the natural oils and damages cells etc
if you have frizzy or easily knotted hair i recommend keeping a comb on hand in the shower and using it to detangle before putting in any products
i've been emulsifying my shampoo for only a couple of weeks but my hair is sooo much fluffier afterwards so i definitely recommend that!!
now i'm torn on this one but apparently shampooing twice is better for your hair than doing it once? i tried it one time and it did not end well for my hair type but i know it works for a lot of people so if you wanna give it a try then go for it âĄ
i squeeze excess water out of my hair before i put in my conditioner so i can completely get it in there without

DO NOT. HAVE. THE WATER. BOILING HOT. i am guilty of this and have been for years but it has such a bad impact and you shouldnt do it! cold showers are better but i prefer warm showers so theres a middle ground (& its always cold in england, so id freeze to death.)
using body lotion after the shower has been such a game changer for me its incredible. makes you smell nice, feel nice, look nice, and its so relaxing and i feel like a princess after i do it <3
exfoliating is really important if your aim is for soft skin đ i have been doing it for months and as somebody with super rough skin its SO soft now
partake in some form of exercise. i hated hated hated sports and exercise when i was younger but i did do dance up until i was eleven and have been doing pilates consistently for months now, and my mindset towards it has changed drastically over the years to finally a healthy one. it can be a difficult thing to get into but make it something you enjoy. it doesn't have to be sports. ill make a post on this soon but it can be pilates, kpop dances, running, hot girl walks, anything! and most importantly, do it for mental health and physical health, not losing weight.
make sure you're eating properly. remember that 1400 to 2400 calories of nutritious substance is the MINIMUM. this of course depends on many variables including, weight, height, BMR, what it is your eating, et cetera. your body is so important & is there to be nourished and not neglected !!! ⥠(đđedit: updated info on calories and nutrition from a lovely anon i received a message from this morning! âĄ)
change your bedsheets every week if you wanna smell good, this is so important bc sweat and odour will build up if u dont and thats icky and wont make u smell good & probably isnt the best for your skin either!
i also put two similar body washes on in the shower that i get SO many compliments on & its really helpful if one of your priorities is smelling good
dont just wash body wash straight off, let it sit for a few moments so the scent can actually sink into ur skin

skincare every morning & every night. if ur tired or just not feeling it today then simplify it, just make sure you never leave it out because its super important! no. skipping. no work = no reward.
on this note, try not to have a too complicated skincare routine, as this can backfire and make ur skin worse than before. your skin isnt meant for 18 different products and 200 chemicals every morning!
never wash your face with hot water... this is also a given but just in case... it strips your skin of its natural oils and does more harm than good
stop touching ur face... just for those who need a little reminder
make sure ur sleeping enough. seriously disney princess movies meant it when they talked ab beauty sleep; it seriously makes a difference, so please try make this a priority, especially if you already have dark circles like myself! (like girl did you see aurora's face? my girl's skin was so clear i could see my reflection)
pay attention to what makes ur face puffy or irritated or makes you get break outs. i keep a little break out log in my skincare page in my journal (little teaser for an upcoming post đ€) and this has helped me go over what helps or hurts my skin! i recommend this especially if ur prone to acne or breakouts đ
cold spoons in the morning to depuff your eyes; ive only been doing this a handful of times but im making it a habit seeing as it really helps! (as someone who can get vv puffy eyes đ)
hydration is so important, for everything in this list, but most of all (from my experience) your face! i drink A Lot of water every day. probably a bit too much. but its so worth it, my skin has been absolutely amazing ever since i started actually making hydration a priority. (and this is coming from a girl who didnt touch a drop of water when she was younger & had to go hospital for dehydration several times.)
i'd recommend scrubbing ur lips too in the morning when you brush your teeth, i saw this on pinterest aaages ago bc i had super dry lips and i do it every morning & every night RELIGIOUSLY. its so so good and i definitely recommend
i have super dry lips in the morning so lip balm in the mornings w my skincare is absolutely essential for me
i also put perfume behind my ears & on my neck so its the first thing people smell when they hug me! im a very touchy person and i love hugs and i love showing love to people so this is essential for me but its optional, just makes you smell good âĄ

Martin had been very lucky in his life. He founded his first start-up at the right time, sold it at the right time and invested the proceeds wisely. Of course, it wasn't just luck; Martin was clever, hard-working and charismatic. And with this combination, he was bound to succeed. The fact that he was extremely good-looking didn't necessarily hinder him. Martin was at every party, Martin knew everyone and Martin was at least one of the first followers of a new trend. If he didn't set the trend himself. That's why he was very annoyed when he got talking to a cool, masculine and sporty-looking guy at a party at the Turkish Embassy. The young stallion turned out to be a rising star in the mixed martial arts world and ran a gym in one of Stockholm's hipster neighborhoods. And in the course of the conversation, Mete asked Martin why he wasn't investing in the fitness sector. Martin was fascinated by Mete's engaging manner. And they shook hands on Martin's entry into Mete's gym.
The press conference was a date to Martin's liking. He was in his element. Not that Mete was not photogenic, but Martin loved the camera. And the camera loved him. One of the reporters present asked if Martin would now train here too. Martin was taken aback for a moment. He hadn't expected that. Normally, he trained with his personal trainer at his gym at home. But this was the moment Mete had been waiting for. He threw a bag with a pair of sports trousers and a pair of gloves to Martin and said it was time for them to train together. Martin hesitated only briefly. He looked good in a suit. But he also knew that he looked at least as good with his shirt off. The pictures of the sparring session were amazing. The success for the gym was overwhelming. And Martin had to admit: this kind of training was something completely different from training at home.
Martin's daily routine changed soon after he joined Mete. Mete regularly picked him up in the morning to go jogging. Martin and Mete often had breakfast in a Turkish café near the gym, and Mete created Martin's new nutrition plan. Mete provided Martin with food supplements, the contents of which Martin did not question, especially since the green packaging only had Arabic writing on it. Mete created a training plan for Martin that required a lot of time in the gym⊠But Martin was happy to have a real physical balance to his otherwise very stressful job. And at the moment he was only active as an investor, he didn't have to run his own company. So why not give it everything you've got in sport? And he gave it everything. Running with a lead vest, weight training, sparring, technique training⊠At some point, Martin was practically living in the gym. And Mete and Martin also spent more and more time together. So much so that Martin moved into the apartment above the gym, which he had originally only intended to use as a second home. So much so that at some point he went with Mete to his Turkish barber. And so much so that, out of curiosity, he went to the mosque with Mete on a Friday for the midday prayer. Mete and the Imam spoke a lot and quickly with each other. The two of them smiled a lot. They said goodbye warmly. Martin hadn't understood a word. But for some reason it felt right to be here.
At the beginning, Martin's short hair was the most obvious sign of his change. His increasingly athletic body was also impossible to miss. Martin grew a beard. Martin started wearing a prayer cap. And more and more Turkish and Arabic words crept into his speech. And while he was only sporadically in the mosque at first, a Friday without the midday prayer and without an exchange with the imam soon became unimaginable for him.
Of course, his change did not go unnoticed. There was unrest in his network of companies. Mete advised him to withdraw from the public eye. His social media accounts were dormant. Martin withdrew from most of the supervisory boards of his holdings. This task was taken over by a few guys he had met at the gym, in cafes or in the mosque and whom he had come to trust. Martin enjoyed the freedom he gained as a result. He had more time to prepare for his next fight, more time to learn Turkish and Arabic, and more time to devote to his prayers. Even though Mete had to spend more and more time managing the prospering gym and the other businesses Martin had entrusted to him, he made sure that Martin, who he increasingly called Mehmet, continued to receive optimal training and nutrition plans. And, above all, with the right nutritional supplements. The side effects of the pills and injections were becoming increasingly obvious: a dark fur was growing on Martin's chest and his beard was getting darker and darker.
MMA shorts and thobes⊠At some point, there was nothing else left in his wardrobe. At most, when Mehmet helped out at the gym reception or when he was supervising at the gym or training customers, he wore a tracksuit. But basically, he no longer felt comfortable in it. Fortunately, Mete gave him quite a generous allowance after Martin had given him and Iman extensive powers of attorney. This allowed him to get through the month without having to work. However, Mehmet still had to work from time to time as a temp at the gym to pay for the expensive nutritional supplements. He didn't have to overcome any great obstacles to do this: he was at home at the gym and he was proud to be part of this gym. And as a trainer, he had close contact with the hottest guys in the gym. Even though Mete was the only one who was allowed to fuck Mehmet, there were enough holes that Mehmet's cock could fill after the wounds of the circumcision had healed.
Hardly anyone recognized Martin at Mehmet's new appearances on social media. If you looked closely, you could have seen Martin's blue eyes in the otherwise more masculine features of Mehmet's face. Ole had been following Martin's latest investment closely. Martin's new CEO, Mete, was very active in the Swedish startup scene and Mete and Ole met regularly at various events. Mete needed more capital to finance the planned aggressive growth of the gym chain. And Ole was ready to get on board. The business figures were simply too tempting.
The press event to mark Ole's entry into the gym empire was a great success. It was accompanied by the opening of a new gym in Martin's former house. And by the victory of the Swedish MMA heavyweight title by the star of the gym, Mehmet. At the photo shoot, Ole was surprised at Mehmet's good Swedish. Actually, he would have expected less from such a monkey. But never mind, Mehmet wasn't there to speak. The photo shoot with Ole and Mehmet was followed by a training session in which the two men demonstrated their skills. Mehmet did everything he could to make Ole look good. But at the end of the session, he said that Ole could do a little more to improve his fitness. After all, he was now a figurehead for the gym. Mehmet had already prepared something: a training and nutrition plan. And Mete had also already procured a few dietary supplements.

Mild Rules For Studious Anas
Because we are academic weapons, our brains need nutrition, so exaggerated low cal eating habits deteriorate our thinking.
But we wonât let studying take away our skinniness! We stay locked in, both academically andâŠoh well⊠physically?
We have to set rules in order to be able to achieve academic excellence and our gw, which -when done wrongly- can become contradictory.
But donât worry, I got you!!
Here are some simple weight loss rules for high achievers, both academically andâŠermâŠyou know what i mean anyway:
1. eat before tests! you can âïž ve the whole day after the test if youâre worried about gaining! But donât worry about that when an important exam is right before your very eyes! You have to score high! You can đ« ve later, girl!!
2. try intermittent fasting, stop eating before 11 and after 16. (of course you can sculpt this format however you like- just try to keep up with the fast)
3. black coffee, 0 cal drinks and tea are your best friend!
4. exercise in the weekends- it takes your mind off work a bit and gets you to burn cals!
5. eat fruit at school (if youâre hungry, always have a little emergency meal just in case you might need one). apples, berries and so on! you could also take vegetables like carrots, cucumbers etc. -theyâre easy to carry and almost calorie-free.
6. i personally love chupa-chups, theyâre pretty low in cals, good replacement for something sweeter and more caloric.
7. try to avoid bread and carbs in general, donât panic if you do eat them, though, maybe your body needs it to get that A.
8. take PE seriously! go play a sport, burn some cals, take your mind off things for a bit!
9. try to take walks!! the same benefits as working out, of course, maybe take a friend/family member with you, so you could vent/ talk, itâs very therapeutic, i do this all the time with my mom.
10. you can always do a little workout before showering in the evening! even if itâs not the sweaty kind, you can burn some extra calories and it could still make a difference.
