it's meant as a first panel in comic but you know what, with amount of work (to figure out how to do "special effects" on Hobie and Margo as efficiently as possible) I poured into it it deserves separate post ;P

Hi! Finally got round to doing that spider!Lance drawing I was thinking of a couple months ago (^.^)

ofc I threw in some klance cause why not

context: Keith crawls up on the roof when he's feeling lonely, sad or upset, which is... most nights. One night, while Lance is on patrol, he spots him. He recognizes him: heck, he'd recognize that mullet anywhere. He's the unbearable Keith from school. But... he's crying. He decides to check in, just, you know, making sure he's not throwing himself off that roof. Just spidey duty, definitely not nosing in, and definitely not because he cares about Keith Kogane.

Keith looks a bit off but I'm kinda proud of how Spider Lance turned out! Special thanks to @hermesserpent-stuff who kindly gave out tips about the webbing<3

On the bus ride home I saw a tiny spiderling valiantly trying to build a web against one of the seats but was getting knocked around from the movement of the bus as it drove. So I scooped it up and let it wander from hand to hand until I got home to release it somewhere safe. And of course, I was happily watching it, very intently as it scampered about on my palm and occasionally cooing about how cute this itty bitty baby was.

Which is when I realised, fuck, I'm such a goth stereotype
