watched the musical demon show (don't wanna name it so this post isn't in the tags) at the behest of an IRL friend and i can already tell this is going to be a piece of media where i absolutely cannot stop thinking about it, not because i really love the show as-is, but because it has so many individual components i really like and find incredibly fun or compelling, and i'm so frustrated that it doesn't come together for me

i think the main thing i can say about it as a show, setting aside some of the insensitive choices that were made that i really don't feel qualified to tackle or talk about, is that the entire thing sort of gives off this vibe of someone really excited to show you every single oc they made in high school and college and i very genuinely mean that in both the best and worst ways possible

there are some good hooks for season two though so i will absolutely give them that

thinking of the potential of insomniac doing a teen Peter as spider man dlc like:

first ever on screen scenes of uncle Ben and Peter (if they do something like a flashback/recall of events before he got killed)

I can see the story being placed where the highschool flashback w Harry takes place tbh, like around after when Emily Osborn dies

also they can introduce Flash for the first time that's not a football player standee cutout honestly wanna see how Peter dealt w highschool since he got bullied by him, also it'd be great to see glimpses of Flash being a spidey fanboy

teen MJ ofc, Peter mentions her only in dialogue in the photo lab but it'll be so cute to see teen petermj 💖

Peter working at the Bugle and having to do missions for his job while also doing spidey stuff would be cool to see, plus seeing Eddie at the Bugle possibly too ??

also it'd be nice to see how teen Peter dealt w his old villains for the first time, I think since some of the sinister 6 (and shocker) got killed in sm2 they should be the focus instead (so like 4 or so villains at least)

I can't think of anything else atm that it'd like to see more of that explores teen Peter besides like the obvious of more of the trio, especially teen Harry and Peter and ofc Aunt May stuff (I love and miss her :( I'd love to see those two bond and deal w all the craziness after Ben's death, I just want more May and Peter content)
