Can we know about Atlas or Buggy Seraphim idea you have. Are they smaller than S-Hawk and S-Crocodile? What are the reactions of Buggy, Crocodile, Mihawk, and everyone else?

So I actually don't have like. A STRICT idea for S-Buggy, all in all. But what I DO have is this:

• he is, indeed, smaller than the rest. My personal thought process is that while they ARE made between cybernetics, lunarian and sourced DNA, they also have to.... idek I guess like INCUBATE. So if they got the DNA for Buggy during Impel Down, growth would be a lil closer to the rest. Still notably OFF but not quite so... teeny.

If it was only after he was named a Warlord, then I can see Atlas being visibly MUCH younger than the others.

Let's say for these purposes the current seraphim are around 10~. Atlas would be, on the older end, about 7-8~. On the lower end, he could be from 2-5~.

• he's semi or nonverbal! He either prefers to or can only speak in sign. Buggy has stints where he goes semi-verbal, and he was a late talker himself, but for Atlas it's. A constant thing. Words are hard.

• his wings are disproportionally tiny compared to the others and the tips of his feathers are white-grey.

• he wears a cat ear beanie!! Loves cats!!! Loves all animals actually. Give that boy an animal encyclopedia and he's RIVETED for HOURS

• his Haki is.... very strange. His range for Observation is outright NUTS and nobody expected to have a nonverbal cyborg baby going into a sensory overload every time he tried using his Haki. ((His abilities there are currently disabled btw))

• loves music

• kind of clingy all things considered. Atlas is real hesitant about trust but once you've gotten into his I Trust You Group, he's following you like a duckling.

As for reactions -

Buggy

• this is... it's complicated, okay? He's doing his best but seeing the kid initially gives him.... so much anxiety. On the one hand, the carefully cultivated persona he's crafted is now going to inevitably implode. It's already well past salvaging as is, but smth about having the final nail in the coffin makes his chest knot up.

• is very patient and doesn't treat Atlas any differently from any of the other seraphim. That's a kid, they're ALL kids, and Buggy's a clown - making kids happy is literally in the Code.

• he will forget sometimes that not everyone knows sign language so he and Atlas will be absolutely going HAM about something and get really confused and/or offended when someone interjects or asks what they're doing.

• he absolutely calls Atlas smth like "my little mime" or "mime of mine", and it makes people melt. Carries him ((and the others as needed)) around, usually on his hip, can and will pepper faces in kisses and swing them around to get squeals and laughter.

• mama buggy supremacy need I say more /hj

Mihawk

• was certainly not expecting this. Like. At all. Hawkeye Mihawk was blindsided.

• ngl was very hesitant on having ANOTHER vulnerable party on the island, especially one so.... small. His own seraphim and Crocodile's seemed so intimidatingly tiny and then this little guy just.... proves everything wrong there. Holy fuck.

• when he realizes Altas's Haki is so sensitive, he asks Buggy what he does to cope. When he finds out Buggy always just.... locked it down, he's flabbergasted. Makes it his MISSION to research oversensitive oberservation haki. His spouse and tiniest child deserve better.

• is very good with Atlas's sensory needs and winds up also encouraging the other seraphim to be more open as well. None of these bitches are neurotypical.

• if asked, he will deny getting a little choked up when Atlas, Birdie and Angel each called him some variant of father. He did though. He absolutely did.

Crocodile

• he's too big and cool and wealthy for feelings (/j). But if he did have them, he'd be extra soft with Atlas. Angel and he click due to many reasons. He and Birdie are decently close. He and Atlas are... a little different. For one, the tiny little clown lunarian is so.... well..... tiny. And quiet. He likes small, cute, quiet things.

• he spoils all of the kids absolutely, but if anyone asks, he'll gut you. Stop. He has a reputation damn it.

• considered getting an AAC book, not only for Atlas but definitely considered heavily with the kid's presence and needs.

• was a little concerned with all the little red flags from all the kids, but ESPECIALLY from Atlas - especially because he can see the red flags now in Buggy too, now hidden under layers upon layers of masking. Reptile man is doing some math here.

• sometime the world gets a little too Much for Atlas, and Crocodile will never admit to the Emotions that come up when the kid creeps up to him, tugs on his pants leg, and signs 'hide, coat?' He let's the kid take as much time as he needs and does NOT stop to think on the ramifications of being considered a Safe Place for him ((He thinks it a lot))

BONUS REACTIONS

Angel

• the Oldest of the seraphim because he came out first so OBVIOUSLY he's the biggest and oldest. Takes his role as Big Brother VERY seriously

• weird mix of VERY protective and Cain Instinct. He'd never ever ever hurt Atlas but sometimes his baby brother is just........ so very.......... smackable.............

• learned sign in the lab a little later than the others, uses it far less, but knows most of the swears.

• complains about how ANNOYING having brothers is but if anyone else complains about his brothers, he'll throw hands.

Birdie

• still thinks he should be the oldest since he was STARTED first and only came out after Angel due to technical issues, but whatever

• still deciding on his name but is very tempted to follow Atlas's example and pick something Cool and Mythical. Is debating Avalon but isn't sure he wants to commit to the accidental A-theme they'd have going on.

• he learned sign the first after it turned out Atlas couldn't or wouldn't talk. Played it off as a useful skill to have anyway. Secretly a big softie.

• he's the type to wordlessly take Atlas's hand in a crowded area to make sure he "doesn't get lost or kidnapped", tries to play it cool but always flutters his wings that little bit more when a smaller hand holds his own just a lil tighter.

• preens the others far more, but absolutely keeps any spare feathers bc he knows Atlas likes them.

• milder Cain Instinct but he can and will bite with and without warning. Not even always aggressive either. Sometimes he just loves someone so much he just noms

• usually keeps Atlas company when he's overwhelmed and needs to decompress - he's either a cuddle buddy or a silent sentry if protection. Anyone who tries to interrupt gets stabbed

anyhow- okay lets see- gonna add some things here- tbh my ideas was mostly for Jenvy ideas mainly- but i guess ill fit Uzi in there lol

The polycule is essentially formed around Uzi pulling them back together-

J's original reason for siding with Cyn which was rooted in fear- was on the basis that she still had her team on her side so she could keep them safe and so theyd have eachother to rely on even after Cyn destroys everything. she did not however, account for Uzi coming along and messing everything up and ruining her team's alignment while she was "dead".

the entire reason J tried to kill N or V at any time was cuz she knew a clone of them would be sent back anyway- she has basically become desensitized towards death in general given she had also died around 12 times herself [canon]- V and N try to help her through this- during which they also deal with Vs behavior and Ns trauma too.

to communicate with J they often had to spar with her- seeing as she hated talking about feelings- but this became their own thing they all did afterwards to unwind and communicate- as J opened up a lot easier after feeling like she was reached out to.

Uzi and J bond over anime and gaming- the latter being somewhere J could actually use her anger on more effectively XD

they all like reading books every now and then where one would read and the others snuggle or cuddle- they take turns. [this is from their manor days]

J is... unable to emote or show emotion easily and it eats her alive. she can't show the appropriate needed emotion to the mood of the room and it makes her have breakdowns- occasionally throw up- as though you are desperately trying to cry but the tears wont come so you try heaving it out- make yourself fit in and look normal by trying to FEEL something- but she cant. J is a dated business model drone- custom made for office work- she was made to be this way- Cyn didn't change her- and she grows to hate herself for it. so when a situation happens that she doesn't know how to react, she leaves or hides- until N,V or Uzi find her- usually disassociating or somewhat catatonic.

Uzi occasionally feels out of place with the group, as though she's just being a literal 4th wheel, since they have history together. the others try to show her that she is important to them each in their own ways-

addressing the elephant in the room- yes, it took a long time for N and J to come to terms with eachother- J eventually accepting that her original reason for hating N [him being better than her or preferred over her esp by Tessa] wasn't important anymore- and tries to appreciate him and V and Uzi more in whatever is left of her life.

make no mistake V and J are still very much bitchy on a surface level- just cuz they are all growing close does not mean they are all now lovey dovey with eachother or sweet and character-redemption-ed with everyone around them. therefore: "playful catfights" >:3 !

V and Uzi tease J alot- this is one of the reasons why J found more comfort with N- not gonna tell him to his face tho lol.

J teaches N to draw better and they bond over that alot-

Uzi and J like attention alot- and they wanna get it by being as wordless as possible- very cat coded.

Uzi, V and N like to drag J into doing more normal things that have less to do with work. so far J has mostly shown some interest in writing and maybe poetry but she WILL shoot your head off if you try to read her stuff-

J's first kiss was with Uzi- N and V having kissed once back at the manor being eachothers first kiss. J thinks V kisses the best tho lol.

N and V like to cuddle a lot- J and Uzi are usually dependent on mood-

V likes to bite- J likes to be bitten, N and Uzi like both- :3

"DATA LOG X1: Malfunctions"

Haii Creator here, just dipping in with a fun little lore bit to share for the AU! Since I'm going in a bit of a different direction with N's character I decided to kind of go into a bit of detail about his uh... "problems" to say the least in the form of a lil data log with some neat art to compliment it! These may become a more relevant thing in the future so if you like it so far, feel free to tell me your thoughts in the comments and some critiques you have, if any!

SO- Those who've watched Murder Drones know that in the pilot, Uzi and N's first meeting ended with Uzi blowing N's head off with her railgun, leading to N growing his head back and essentially loosing a few hours of his memory.

One particular thing that's touched upon but never used again is N's "eyes" on top of his head malfunctioning, leading to him mistaking Uzi for a disassembly drone. It seems that all of the eyes have the same function, which is a little over the top, so while prepping N's character I decided to actually to change it up for my story in case I decide to use it for anything!

This is a mini N! He's adorable, right? Notice the 5 yellow vials on his head? Those are no longer eyes, but instead they serve as a Disassembly Drone's 5 main senses! If one or all are damaged it can severely affect the performance of the drone in question. This is N's usual, or normal, state with all 5 senses present.

The vial on the far left on N's head is his SIGHT. If this vial is damaged in any way his (now regular) drone eyes will disappear, instead his entire visor will be covered in with a huge caution sign. Overall pretty self explanatory.

The vial second from the left is N's SOUND. Damage that and N becomes muted until repaired! No amount of screaming, yelling, or whispering is getting out of that mouth -w- Especially detrimental for the golden retriever boy who loves talking about dogs

The vial on the far right is N's TOUCH. His sensors, more specifically, will no longer be able to feel or really interact with anything around him without him feeling like he's touching air.

Why do I feel so sad just writing this part???

The vial second to the right is N's TASTE. Lose that and say goodbye to the warm sweet oil that keeps him alive! If his taste sensors are damaged his body won't be able to register any oil going through his body, rendering any consumption of oil before his repair utterly useless!

Finally, we move to the vial right above N's head! This sense in particular is one that I've named myself called CONTROL. What's so special about this particular vial is that if damaged, an unknown system known as [NULL] will activate in N's programming, making him act against his wishes and only according to the programming!

A clear example of this is in my latest fake screenshot! Looking at the vial in the middle it may seem like a coloring mistake, but it's actually a bright red, just mellowed down by the blizzard and snow effects! While this is damaged N's original personality is completely overrides and replaced with what the program inside him actually WANTS him to be: Deranged, Psychotic, & Utterly Sadistic with his kills.

You come to find out that this one vial in particular is one N struggles with a lot in the story!

On the very very rare occasion that all 5 senses or damaged or multiple crucial ones for basic functioning the disassembly drone will be placed in a comatose state until they're either fully repaired or, depending on where they fall, buried by the blizzard just like the bodies of the worker drones they killed!

An example is this one ask response I did when just starting out! All 5 vials are a bright red and a fatal error screen covers N's visor! You all may have thought this was just some edgy art, but little did you know it'd come back and even become relevant to the story itself! Hell, even I didn't know I'd come to need it one day!

Before I completely end it off, I decided to give you all a lil sneak peak into the future of the story! I won't say what episode this fake screenshot is based off of, but I really liked the idea of Uzi finding out about N's senses by tapping into his CPU (with his consent) to dig up some files relating to the story, all while giggling at how weird he looks without hair, like she herself isn't wearing a wig -w-

Meet Black Wolfberry, or well,

This fecking thing.

I don’t got much to do or say with this—

But- uh-

Dis lil thing is Frigid’s kid.

Very lil fella. 

Its name is Black Wolfberry cookie— cuz I’m struggling to find a proper name—

It ain’t exactly like how white orchid was born (no mama),

Mostly cuz the oc I ship with him time to time is literally known as famine, or in some other stories, abyssal sea cookie. I ain’t showing it just yet but long story short she basically this kid’s mom and the literal licorice sea abyss seems to be friendly with her…almost like seeing her as its mom??? Idk just yet I might change some stuff so I don’t accidentally make it weird depending if Frigid cacao is his own thing or possessed by the licorice sea in some monster manner.

Due to how dis fecking thing was born, she’s immune to the frosty touch, though kinda has similar abilities in some way(distress causes frost that leads to drowsiness, lack of energy, but won’t kill you…immediately. The frost can just be broken off or put under water to thaw it off, so less of an issue than her father’s frost).

This ends up meaning she can be picked up by her papa without turning into an icicle. She got a big appetite (theoretically like her dad and mom, depending on what side effects other than not moving or talking much cacao got—), but most often she’s like those little animal videos where the lil guy ‘politely’ eats, or something.

She can form a maw, but it’s rare. 

Like her papa, she originally doesn’t talk much, making small gurgling noises and head movements to communicate. At a certain point she does get abit talkative…as in gurgling like sounds, growls…yeah she can’t speak technically just yet, but she’ll get there.

She kinda acts like a cat at times, and hell even skittered around like a cat, or just slithers. She’s got legs but she doesn’t care too much.

Which the additional canon of Cacao only visiting Midnight Lily, she would find out about the lil guy, and kinda has to deal with the fact he got with a harbinger lady (/j?). Overall she thinks it’s sweet.

I’d say at a point Black Wolfberry cookie might end up following white orchid after realizing some stuff. That, and they kinda done with being kept in the walls all the time. It ain’t their first rodeo somehow getting out and at a point ended up in the desert, so you can guess the stress the poor guy gonna be in.

Height comparison. Chances are she might be smaller but I don’t want to make her ant sized. (I might change her  secondary color—)

She love her papa, but she can’t tell if he care or not. Atleast he doesn’t mind her sleeping on him or messing with his hair—

If your Durge could change one, single thing, event, feature, just anything about their life, their body or their relationships, what would it be?

Do they ever miss the cult or Bhaal or wish they chose differently? How are we coping is what I'm asking.

How's shit with their LI going? Did they have one? Is it going well even after the post-epilogue party? What's the vibe here? Did they maybe even find a new partner?

What's it like being known as a hero? Do they enjoy it? Are they getting shy whenever they hear a bard recount their tales? Is it too overwhelming, and they decided to try and escape it?

How's our mental health? Did we get out unscathed, are we still tormented by nightmares? How do we cope with this little absolutely life changing journey we just went thru? Any lifestyle changes to deal with it?

Have we learned from the mistakes of our predecessors, or are we fully embracing the Abdel Adrian route? Are they trying to establish themselves as an influential figure or trying just to live a lovely little peaceful life?

How do they feel about never getting the majority of their memories back? Is it relief, that they won't remember what atrocities or mistakes they make or perhaps dread, because a Bhaalspawn undoubtedly made enemies and they'll never know who they are?

How's it going in terms of faith? Serving Jergal, another god altogether, are we faithless nowadays? What's the situation here?

How's the canon situation on a scale of 1 to 10? 1 being this could be part of a sourcebook, 10 being this is basically original fiction now.

Do any of the traits they learned in their old profession ever come in handy later down the line? Have they opened a clinic, do they get by as a mercenary, are they staying far away from everything even slightly connected to their past life?

Are they gonna reach the later half of their life expectancy or are we gonna have some sweet early demise going on here? Will they ever get to enjoy the fruits of their labour?

How exactly does loosing Bhaals essence impact a being created by him? We holding up well or barely scraping by?

Generally speaking, without saying much, what's the vibe here after it all ends? Tragedy, coffeeshop AU kinda vibe, rom-com, drama baby, slice of life or hero's quest?

Do they ever feel like they miss any of the other chosen? How much do they manage to recall? Are they beating themselves up over it?

What's their biggest struggle now that everything is over?

Also what's the greatest joy now that they're "free" (depends on interpretation ig)?

Was it worth it?

Do they ever meet any of the other tadfools again? Are they questing together once more? Do they purposefully stay away from some?

How are the others doing actually? What's Durges opinion on it? Do they think their old companions are doing well, are they glad about it or maybe even resentful? Do they ever even find out?

Any physical changes going on here compared to how they were before the whole 'defeat the brain' business? What are they? Is Durge handling them well or do they need a bit more time?

Now as for the fun part.... Do they ever remember what exactly they did with some of the other chosen? How awkward is it or are they proud of it? Does anyone else find out? Give me the tea dammit.

Does the skrunkly little tyrant ever make his way back into the picture in some way? What way exactly?

What happened to the physical prayer for forgiveness? Is it stored in a lil chest somewhere in their new home? Did it get burned? Did it get buried? What's going on here?

What happened to the stones? Where are they? Do they still exist? Remember most of the idiots only wanted the crown, nobody ever said something about those pretty gems that spend god knows how long with the others. Basically how freaky is Durge about them?

What happened to a bunch of very peculiar weapons such as; the Fabricated Arbalest, the Stillmaker, Bloodthirst, Crimson Mischief, Ketherics Warhammer, all that fun stuff.

What happened to the coat. Tell me. How's it doing. Where is it. What's going on?

Finally, last but not least. What is Durges biggest wish now? What do they strife to attain? Peace, happiness, the food they've been craving for a solid week now?

About your non human au

Got a bit of a ramble plus a question but it's a bit long

How open to cuddling are the Nrc folks? Or more like, how willing and upfront/obvious about wanting scritches and pets is everyone in Nonhuman au. I was wondering where on the sliding scale of "unabashedly unashamedly asking for cuddles" vs "i totally do not want cuddles but if you don't give attention to me i will be upset for completely unrelated reasons that have nothing to do with not being petted and cuddled"

(also due to my garbo memory, i can't remember if basically the majority of all of NRC is now nonhuman in this au but i do recall that humans are rare so I'm gonna put in the other NRC folks too in case also cause it's fun)

I feel like the most upfront and unabashed about demanding or asking for scritches would be Lilia of course. Followed by Ace (i feel like he's desperately trying to act smug and jokey about it but he will be genuinely upset if you turn him down or worse get annoyed and actually go to someone else). Deuce i feel like wouldn't necessarily be super upfront (he's uber embarrassed and doesn't know how to go about communicating that) but he will do what he thinks will get what he wants without being too pushy. Lots of Deuce being fairly clingy and lots of casual leaning on reader/yuu but Deuce would get flustered easily i believe and he doesn't have the word weaving skills like Ace to try to bluff his way out. Also Floyd will give Lilia a run for his money with how vocal and willing to go get his damn cuddles. Kalim as well but he's not as likely to gun for Reader/Yuu like Lilia or Floyd. More of an impromptu decision based on encounters.

Cater, Trey, Jack, maybe even Ruggie and Jade are less openly vocal and pushy about their scritches and cuddles. They are more likely to be casual i believe and also try to sneak in their wants. However they probably won't deny nor completely avoid the want for pets or grooming. Rook can technically be placed here too cause i feel like he wants to have attention on him but also he wants his little mischievous chase games in the mix (he's being chased and the reward is pets) but he doesn't want to miss out on that relaxation time just in case the lil human can't keep up. Some good old Rook complexity in there involving wanting to be accepted to be seen and to see beauty but also an odd sense of trepidation and almost shyness, he might even half joke about how you're trying to tame him and that you should be responsible for those you tame

The last group definitely feels like the type to never outright demand or ask for cuddles scritches or pets but they will be soo petty and irritated if they think they're not getting their due attention. Jealous tsunderes to me lol. Leona, Vil, Riddle, Idia and Malleus go in this category but for different reasons. Leona and Vil just have a lot of pride and an image they're trying to uphold. Riddle and Idia are soo touch starved and socially awkward that they both don't know how to go about communicating what they want but also they don't know how to handle it when they're actually interacting. (riddle is so socially awkward but he at least has a plethora of rules to work off of unlike idia). Malleus is awkward and out of his depth so i think he just wouldn't know how to express what he wants but he's very jealous of the others for getting their own cuddles so easily in comparison

“How open to cuddling are the Nrc folks?” 

With the guys at that school in general It's sort of a case-by-case type thing and depends on the person in particular. Kind of like how some people are cool with physical affection or hugs but some aren't, and with others, you gotta build up a bond for them to be cool with it. Some of the beasties aren't gonna want some random person touching them, just like a regular person wouldn't be cool with it.

A thing to remember though that changes the circumstance is, that this is a school full of a bunch of hormonal dudes and you happen to be a cute exotic little thing. So some are gonna be cooler with that curious touching just for that…though you should be wary of their intentions.

But that’s just an in general thing for the students, it's gonna be dif with the main guys since they know you and you went through all that stuff with them. You guys are homies.

Looking at what you wrote I say you're pretty spot on with how open those certain main guys would be to it. Adding on to the Lilia bit, not only in his regular form is he perfect for petting but in this au, he has two other forms he can switch into: A big scary sexy bat monster and…adorable little actual bat that you can keep in your pocket. Being in the latter form lets him conserve energy and magic so he likes to chill in it, another benefit is how freaking ADORABLE he is in it, and he uses it to his advantage with no shame.

Pet him, brush him, tell him how cute he is, and kiss his little face. The funest thing to do is feed him little cherry tomatoes and watch him go ham on them. Have you seen those cute vids of fruit bats eating stuff? Well, you should.

Ace and Deuce are clingy little things but in different ways. Deuce wants you to touch him so badly but he’s anxious about making you uncomfortable or you thinking he’s weird. Being a girl would add more to that. Also you call him a good boy while showing him affection he will die. P.S. When he goes home for the break and his mom smells you on him she is going to ask him so many questions and tease him. Please help him.

Ace is…regardless of what creature he is in the au he has asshole cat energy. Like, he's clingy and demands attention at the worst time but when you're in the mood he's like “Meh” but then gets pissy when you go to or smell like someone else. Passive aggressively scents all your stuff.

Floyd and Kalim have no shame in asking. Though with Kalim it's asking and although he’ll get sad when you're busy or not in the mood for it he’ll respect it. Floyd does not. He is like one of those big ass dogs that will straight up lay on you and won't move. Kalim keeps offering to hire you as his personal cuddle giver/groomer and his parents encourage it since having a human serve under you shows status, not that he cares about that.

My god, Cater would use you for so many videos.

So true for the “won't be vocal about it” thing. Cater is gonna “Haha…unless?” about it. Trey, Ruggie, and Jade would definitely manipulate situations so that you WILL pet them. Ruggie is gonna act like he's doing you a favor so you end up cuddling AND feeding him. Jack is still very much a tsundere about it, will probably take a while to get him to let you and he wants to do it in private.

Rook…another with no shame in accepting it. He’s so used to being the one doing the chasing. It's nice having someone so interested in him and giving him praise. He’s still gotta keep some of his mystery so he won't tell you things but he's gonna ask you all kinds of questions and want to take…terns with touching. Leona will straight up tell Ruggie to go get you and bring you to his room for Touching Time. With certain affection, he doesn't want others to see but with other kinds, he wants to show off. Especially if your mates.

Vil is pretty particular about what he allows you to do and how you touch him. Do not mess up his hair or feathers. 

Riddle and Idia. Even if he likes you it will take time for him to be cool it. Both want the affection given to be privet. Riddle actually puts together a Snuggle Scedual and gets pretty pissed if someone or someone interrupts or makes it run late. God forbid it gets canceled. Tbh for both of them it's kind of…cuddle therapy? For Riddle it helps with his anger and feelings of loneliness and the lack of affection he's had to deal with since…well forever.

For Idia…tbh I can't help but picture him as one of those anxiety-riddled dogs that's always shaking. You kind of end up his Emotional Support Human and if he absolutely has to leave his room he's keeping you close and hiding behind you, even if you're smol.

Is Mal awkward? Heck yes, but he is also touch-starved and greedy. You'll be lucky if his dragon instincts don't kick in have him keep you in his nest forever. Once he figures out “Oh…these touches are pretty nice.” He won't be shy about physical affection, even with the others around. Might get territorial and you should prob talk to him about it, so he doesn’t end up…going all dragon about it.

So i have a question regarding Kurts genetics. Destiny and Mystique are his biological parents from what I read. Mystique changing into a man and taking on the appearances and I guess abilities of Count Wagner and Azazel. which would explain Kurts bamf ability and his demonish appearance.

Now hear me out, what if these genetics show in his children. They look like a mix of Kurt and his SO but imagine instead of blue skin, red skin. Devilish apperance and tiny horns n tail. Or ginger/red hair like mystique. (I'm using that for a lil side AU with some oc of mine for funnies)

What are your thoughts about it? I am kind conflicted on how Kurt came to be because some sources say that Mystique was his mom and Azazel his father.

To clear up some of his parenthood confusion, his parents keep changing every once in a while. Nightcrawler has always come from mystique, but originally his dad was count wagner, and then it was changed to azazel, and the most recent retconn is the Destiny/Mystique birthstory! I don't know why they keep changing it so much, and I can't think of any other Characters who have gone through the same thing either 😭 but I guess it all depends on what version you prefer/read/ watch.

And as for what genetics his kids would get, I don't really know, but here's a photo from Google of what some of his kids have looked like in some comic runs! The two in the middle are from Kymri and Talia's mom is the scarlet witch. (Feel free to correct me of I'm wrong yall, I haven't personally red this run!)

HOLY HECK, WE CAN INFO DUMP ABOUT OUR AUS HERE?!?!?! /Pos

Okay! Me and my sibling made an Au together called Dragontale, and imma dump the lore here. We've decided that there wasnt really a war, but since monsters have two forms, their usual monster form and a dragon form, humans began becoming dragon hunters, so the monsters hid underground to stay safe!

Most of the main og cast were the original hiders, like Asgore, Toriel and everyone's favorite character to debate on, W.D. Gaster! Sans and Papyrus were still lil guys back then though, so they don't really remember the change from above to underground.

Monsters can still technically go above ground, it's just very unsafe, so nobody really leaves.

Oh yeah, Undyne and Alphys were born underground lol.

Chara and Frisk are probably the only humans to have ever fallen, Chara being adopted by the Dreemurs and dying in some way we haven't decided on yet. Frisk is really interesting, cause they grew up in an orphanage hearing magical tales of dragon hunters, leading to them wanting to become a hunter as well, but once they fell down and actually met the dragons that they've wanted to kill for so wrong, they had a DRASTIC change of heart!

Color schemes for horns and tails, which all monsters have in their normal form, is based on soul traits, for example, Sans has yellow and light blue things! Dragons are usually that big, usually a wingspan can go from 10-45 feet, depending on the size of the monster.

Also, we've sorta based the dragon designs off of WoF dragons hehe, like, Undyne is seawing based, W.D. is Nightwing based, and all that :) /INFODUMP :D

What if you just get a connection, personalized to the two of you? Like some people would get visions through the other's eyes randomly, Hilda and Zelda can't hide their thoughts from each other, some people get all emotions, etc.

But because of Ravio's situation growing up and Hilda ignoring Ravio's advice and pleas for Yuga's plan, Ravio comes in with emotional pain aplenty

I'm hoping to make a small series of fun lil sprite edits with my talentswap AU that scrambles the talents of Class 77 and Class 78, and has its own weird lil story to go with it

(someday I'll think of a cool shorthand title. maybe. perhaps. as a treat. i would also like to write this story someday... we will see, since evidently im allergic to projects)

Headcanons? Headcanons for Detective Souda?

(also a lil comparison between this one and normal Kazu, and some AU info)

For this AU, characters' original body types, general interests/inclinations, and much of their personality is intact - the only parts of their personality that change are things influenced by their line of work alone. A lot of who we are and who we become tends to be influenced by our interests, which in turn is influenced by our upbringing, which also influences who we are... but I intend to keep the characters as close to how they are outside of their original talents as possible.

This AU also swaps the end twists between the 1st and 2nd games, and in some way keeps original relationships (like Makoto and Kyoko's partnership, and Souda's inclination towards Sonia). Some personality aspects are allowed to bloom or forced into hiding, depending on the upbringing I imagine would have been needed to allow these talents to shine within them and rise to Ultimate status.

ok Souda Headcanon Time:

The teeth are actually natural - he has a disorder which effects a number of things but especially effects his teeth, which are sharp as a result (something that evidently exists?? tho i forget the name, and it's not as perfect as drawn here ofc but.)

I think og-Souda would have a great skincare routine, one that Detective Souda lacks, since he never gained the motivation nor inspiration to care more about his appearance in front of others. So, he has some zits.

When he was very young, he was living with his father in their bike shop, but his dad went too far one night. A worried neighbor called authorities on them after witnessing his dad's aggression. At some point, the situation tips over, and Kazu's removed from his father's custody.

The detective investigating his father's abuse took care of him, and eventually adopted him after his dad was incarcerated. New Dad was not physically abusive, and genuinely cared for his new son, but due to his line of work he wound up kind of a sad sack of a person, so he's still a pretty cringefail/wetkitten father figure.

Kazuichi would accidentally stumble across his files around the house, and witnessed far more corpses than he likely should have as a child. Terrified at first, he eventually suppressed his fears in favor of trying to become a stronger person, and insisted on applying himself to learn his caretaker's line of work... inadvertently witnessing even more death and dying than he should have, from a young age.

As a young teen, he took interest in therapy and self care, and came to realize his trauma regarding his father and his guardian / upbringing. New Dad has his full love and respect and he tries to change for his son. This kind of expands Kazu's self-respect a little, while adding new depths to his hatred/fear of violence and conflict.

Due to his new caretaker, he never went to the same schools, and lost his original friends as a result - so he doesn't suffer from the same trust issues as OG-Souda, and as a result, easily clings to the people around him and allows himself to get lost in his head a tad more often than OG.

He specializes in forensic investigative work, because his brain is still wired better for calculations, spatial reasoning, and mathematical speculation.

He also still loves learning about how things work, and now, he's especially interested in how things have happened / come to be - finding satisfaction in analyzing evidence, instead of reverse-engineering parts/machines.

He even still has a mild interest in mechanics! But he is firmly convinced that being handy and technical is nothing to boast about.

He is also now convinced that he wouldn't make a good repairman/mechanic/engineer, anything of the sort. Part of this apprehension is due to his hatred of his father.

He is still pretty timid, and jumps easily at any sudden or loud noise, is afraid of the paranormal, gets upset easily when socializing, and feels terrified when there is any perceived threat.

However, death and dead bodies are some of the things that no longer frighten him. Upset, sure, but nothing like OG-Souda. He sees dead bodies as objects to investigate and solve, as opposed to feeling the horror of seeing a deceased fellow human, or feeling too overwhelmed if it's someone he knew. Because of this, it's easy for him to get lost in his work and feel totally disconnected while investigating.

au where everything is exactly the same but Mikey’s spots change color depending on his feelings

Details under the cut (it’s a lil long)

Most of the time, Mikey’s spots are his iconic yellow color. This is because Mikey is normally a genuinely happy guy.

If Mikey is feeling multiple emotions at once, his spots reflect it. Like in the Gumbus episode - Mikey is embarrassed when what scared him is just a model train, but his initial fear over the whole ghost situation is still under there. In the Mrs. Cuddles ep, Mikey is openly bummed about the situation. I imagine he’s also apprehensive, because they’re tied up and can’t yell for help, so his spots are reflecting those two emotions. He’s like one of those multicolor lava lamps.

The colors of Mikey’s emotions are based on Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions, because I didn’t want to make my own emotion-color wheel. This is more of a guideline, because it doesn’t include some common emotions (disappointment, embarrassment, overwhelm, panic, anxiety, etc). Also, see how “grief” is dark blue?? Yeah, nah. Whenever they lose someone (Karai, Leo), his spots go black.

Shortly after the turtles begin their crime fighting, Mikey decides he needs to cover up his spots. It’s very awkward and uncomfortable to have the villains know exactly what he’s feeling, and makes it very hard to bluff once they figure out what the different colors mean. For his shoulders, he uses cropped hoodies. I can only find pictures of rather plain ones, but I imagine he adds his own Mikey flare to them.

The bros and April all know what his different colors mean. Sometimes Mikey finds it annoying, but overall he doesn’t mind. The bros and April also know Mikey well enough they can still figure out how he’s feeling when his spots are covered.

Everyone questioned why Mikey’s markings did The Thing, but weren’t able to come up with an answer and just accepted it. Later on, they learn it’s because of Mikey’s natural affinity and connection to mystic power.

Building off that last one, whenever Mikey’s cut off from his mystic power, his spots turn a dull grey and lose their colors.

Do the others know of Pim’s mild resistance to The Hunger? When in the hunt are they aiming to eat or just kill the victim? What about the boss? Is he aware of what’s going on? Is it affecting him? Is he ever curious as to why the smiling friends are acting different or does he ignore it? You said Pim is fully aware of what goes down but what about the others? Is it more awareness for some of them and less for others? How do Pim’s claws work? Ohhhh there is just so much to ponder about with your au it’s soooo goooood

OG AU Post for those confused

I'm glad you're enjoying my lil AU so far! You got a lotta questions and I got a lot of answers let's go!

1:

The hunger is a stubborn and impulsive state. It tends to "leak" out when not on a hunt. Particularly if they've gone without eating for awhile. If hungry it can be difficult to keep from showing signs that something is amiss. Subtle stuff out first: twitchiness, trouble focusing, mood swings... But as time goes on it becomes harder to hide: Constant smiling, extreme impulsivity(lashing out), urges to eat being nearly impossible to resist. If they can't keep it together enough to do their job without being noticed they usually stay back at the office while one of the others takes their place for that hunt.

If they are fed though they remain in proper control of themselves but cannot control of they change forms or not. Little bits of their other forms are still a constant though.

Allan, as stated goes through a lot of neck and back pain, his proportions are never quite right. It's very subtle but his neck still stretches instinctively.

Charlie gets pounding headaches and his tounge is still two. If he coughs hard enough he could accidentally spit a couple drops of acid.

Glep still has small fangs when he opens his mouth.

Pim usually gets sore all throughout his chest and back. A physical giveaway is the permanent black splotches that line his back from below the neck to the base of the spine.

2:

Yes they are aware. It almost costs them hunts sometimes. The only reason he can even begin to fight it is because he starves himself of flesh often and it has trained him to resist The Hunger. Granted it's not much but that moment of resistance he can give could mean life or death for the victim.

3:

When on a hunt the overall goal is to feed. Depending on how ravenous The Hunger is that day, they'll eat till satisfied and that's when they regain control or they will be able to regain control long enough to bring the body back for the whole office to share.

4:

Ohohoho see I've thought long and hard about this since the beginning. Excuse me being a little cryptic up ahead here because I think leaving things up for others to theorize is fun.

What I WILL reveal is Mr.Boss knows more than he lets on. In fact he is the reason The Hunger is such a thing. He's not afflicted by it himself but he has his own motives for causing it. As I told one of my friends before metaphorically Mr.Boss is playing chess and the Smiling Friends are just his pawns in a bigger picture.

Now I'll add to the answer with more questions for you to think about. Why have they never been caught by authorities nor even questioned when the killings so clearly all link to the Smiling Friends company. Why does the media never seem to report on these killings? Why are there never any police records kept accurate? (Files mislabeled as perpetrator unknown or missing persons)

5:

Pim has a slightly higher level of awareness as the others. What makes him notable the fact he can use that awareness to, like previously stated, hesitate against The Hungers will somewhat. Either way to all of them it's like looking through foggy glass mentally. It can be a bit hard for them to tell what's going on and they have to make an active effort to clear the brain fog. Sometimes it's easier to let the mental fog do it's thing though, at least they won't have to think about the life they just took.

6:

Pims extra limbs form from a thick substance that oozes out of patches on his back. This substance shapes itself and rematerializes to match his true arms as much as possible. This is highly imperfect though. As you've probably noticed, the extra arms all bend in unusual ways. Too many joints, imperfect joints.

Because of the substance they were made out of they can stretch or rematerialize partially on the fingers. This is the premise for his claws. All that needs to happen is some reorganizing on a molecular level and suddenly those claws are harder than and sharper than a razor. The claws can rematerialize back into normal looking hands as well depending on the nessisary situation. It is of note though his true limbs cannot do any of that.

GUYS okay hear me out majoras mask boat boys au

I love legend of zelda I love boat boys this is like the ultimate combination of my interests you cannot understand the brainrot. Idk what to call it yet tho... majoras minecraft? Anyway prepare for an essay

OKAY so we have the Hero of Time, Etho, who stopped ganons plans before they started, and would be stuck in a child's body if not for the fact I think that'd be a lil weird for the more shippy aspects of this au that all the running through time aged his soul and his body followed suit (he's still got a young appearance, and the mask doesn't make him look older like he thinks). Same reason he has the scar over his eye (from the ganon fight); no matter how much the body may heal or rewind the mind will not forget.

Then navi (maybe bdubs?) left him, and he went with epona (maybe bdubs instead? (eponas a horse iydk)) and he sets out on a journey aka the beginning of mm:

Wandering through the woods on epona, gets jumped by skull kid. For those unaware, there is skull kid, a lonely lil sweetheart, and he wears the mask, an entity on its own. He also has two fairies, siblings tael and tatl.

So I was a little unsure about this for a while, but I think I've decided on grian for the skull kid and Jimmy for tael, grian bc watchers and Jimmy bc skull kid is not very nice to tael (bc of the mask) and like a listeners reference or smth blah blah blah

TATL. that's who's interesting. At the beginning she gets separated from her friends and becomes your companion. So naturally for this au she is our favourite joel smallishbeans. It works so well. Tatl is mean but cares, and that's joels dynamic with the bad boys and with etho, guys it's literally perfect idc what you say

I think it doesn't change much throughout like the story of the game, but just taking dialogue tatl says to link and its so perfect for a sassy joel to a "can't believe I'm dealing with this shit again" etho. Uh one thing different though; in hylian form etho doesn't have an ocarina but instead a mini marimba. Just because. I think it's cool, and for potential things later on.

Now, fairies in this au are just tiny glowing people shaped things with wings. The glow around them is their magic, and depending on emotions/energy the brightness changes (thats why they look like flying balls of light). Some fairies have the ability to make projections of themselves, more hylian sized in nature. This can be intimidation or distraction or w/e, but they cant do it for long periods of time bc its exhausting. These forms aren't physical. Just sized up light projections of their actual bodies.

So for a lot of their journey, joel is just a cute pocket sized ball of rage and sarcasm, who helps with ethos aim for fighting. Bc that's a game mechanic and also ethos like half blind. But like when joel calms down imagine him crawling into ethos hat and just dozing off. He can fit in the palm of your hand like guys it's so cute. But he is also capable of being worse than a mozzie

Oh probably a good point to put in what I imagine etho looks like. So it's typical link green (maybe a bit dampened?), weird pointy hat, short hair (white ofc), his shirt is more of a jacket with a fluffy cold weather collar, it's a bit too big for him but he knows he'll grow into it, he's all knobbly and thin (underfed a lil, boy was never taught how to care for himself beyond basic survival). His injured eye is red bc of ganon, and often gives him phantom pains. It can't be healed.

Anyway, at some point in their journey together, etho and joel learn a song that let's fairies have a larger physical form, no wings, sorta like the great fairies (who they learnt it from prolly). It isn't permanent, slowly draining ethos magic meter, the spell ends when you run out of magic. This is because I want them to actually be able to stand side by side or maybe hug, and also bc its hard to block a blow with your body when ur tennis ball sized.

Aaaaand, this ties back in with with marimba. What if ethos injured, or unconscious, and he obviously can't defend himself, so joel panics and plays the marimba in what he hopes is the right order to give himself a body. I imagine that being that small, you could not play an ocarina. And hey maybe joel carries etho away after that, and when the spell ends he has barely any light emitting from himself because he spent nearly all his magic (what he is made of) saving etho.

But this song isn't used much, because of its draining nature, and you can't really do any other magic things while it's going. So it's mostly just in the final fight (over and over) or tough moments or maybe joel wants to experience something like hoe hylians do. It's obviously inferior to how he experiences things as a fairy, of course, he's just curious thats all. He totally doesn't want etho to do it more.

Okay I think ill sorta stop here, I am NOT done, I will probably post some art I've done for this later lol, and I want help with who everyone else is (mumbo is the moon. You cannot stop me nor change my mind) with mcyts to npcs

First of all, thank you for reading/enjoying the things I've been drawing!! Second of all, what I want to talk about could fill a novel or two, but I've settled on flowers today.

A couple months back, I decided to assign a handful of characters in the AU flowers. Mostly just for fun, but I do use them in my illustrations, and Joel and Lizzie's flower makes an appearance in the comic.

Technically, the meanings of some of the flowers below can change depending on color and who you ask. I chose whatever I jived with most.

Anyhow, here they are;

Cleo-Hyssop

In general this flower represents humility, repentance and sacrifice. I've seen in my travels that it's mentioned in the bible, in the context of cleansing/forgiveness. Fun hyssop fact, it's actually a garden herb from the mint family.

Etho-White Lily

White lilies are all over the place in terms of meanings and associations, so I'll only touch on what specifically applies. They're a popular funeral and wedding decoration. The color white is heavily associated with purity, but I chose these for their ties with death and rebirth. Them being a popular sympathy flower is a bonus, considering he's presumed dead for the majority of the comic.

Joel and Lizzie-Morning Glory

Morning glory has a handful of meanings, but the most popular ones are all centered around love; love in vain, undying love, sometimes even obsession. I like the way morning glory twists around things, it's one of my favorite flowers despite it's weed status. In general, morning glory is known to smother nearby plants and they require a lot of consistent effort to get rid of. This is pretty well known, but most morning glory blooms in the morning and closes in the evening.

Grian and Scar-Poppies

This is a really popular fandom thing already, and I think death and remembrance are really fitting for them. They're also closely associated with sleep, peace, undying love and sacrifice. I associate them very strongly with the Wizard of Oz, and that movie strikes a really great balance of nightmare and reverie for me.

Martyn-Hemlock

It feels weird to talk about characters I haven't introduced yet, but I'm doing it anyway for the prank of it all. In Victorian era flower language this flower is tied to the phrase 'You will be my death.' Hemlock is (allegedly) associated with dark arts like necromancy and it's generally seen as a sign of danger.

I only went ahead and chose flowers for people who have really important roles in the story, so apologies 75% of the characters aren't listed. Just a fun little list, I don't know if folks are as crazy about flowers as me, but anyways thanks for reading! Below is a lil scribble I did up on tracing paper back in February.

tumblr hates me, therefore, i’m making this it’s own post. @love-3-crimes i’m dedicating this to you

this Will be a long post so to see the full thing, look below.

There are a few things I must establish about my CCCC interpretation worldbuilding, and other worldbuilding for this au specifically before we begin so everything else I say makes sense.

HMS are not the only lil guys in Whole’s head (though they’re the only ones that are direct parts of him), nor do they live in an empty void. They live in a space called the Thoughtscape, which changes appearance depending on who of HMSW is in charge, but most of the time it is Soul (because Whole doesn’t pop back into his brain world much), and thus it presents as a metropolitan city.

Every other character is based off a CJ song. There is one for every song (except Gothic Whore ones and Heal). This was a mistake on my part but I’ve just gotta live with it now

HMS are the only people in the Thoughtscape who look human. Every other person is distinctly inhuman but HMS can be mistaken for ones. They do have traits which stop them from being fully human, unlike Whole. Heart has bird like features, Mind has visibly robotic and metal parts, and Soul is part shadow creature. They become more inhuman the more distressed they are.

There is an exception to that rule and it is Funky Jash. This is because he is Whole’s chosen creature who he gets all the gossip from. He’s also a cryptid. He’s like if Bigfoot was Jesus.

Every person in the Thoughtscape is assigned a card suite that shows their alignment (also note, this means similarity with, not necessarily agreeing) with one of HMSW. Heart is Hearts, Mind is Diamonds, Soul is Spades, Whole is Clubs. Some species are more commonly one suite than another.

The trident is representative of control over the Thoughtscape, and as well as the manifestation of the Thoughtscape changing depending on who’s in control, so does the trident.

Heart uses he/they, Mind uses she/her, Soul uses they/it, Whole is the token he/him cishet.

Now that that’s out of the way.

This au takes place when events go awry after the shot. It also follows my own usual interpretation that Mind was responsible both for blinding Heart post shot, and throwing him into Apathy. After that happens here, however, Mind confronts Soul about not having done anything about heart trying to kill her. Soul, in truth, didn’t know, but Mind is (understandably) incredibly upset and hurt that it happened, and (slightly less understandably) believes Soul is incompetent and not fit to be in control.

She overthrows them, stealing their trident. The Thoughtscape takes on the form of a medieval fantasy kingdom and she locks Soul away in the basement of her castle. Where it is safe, and where she can still rule unhindered (because she does still care about Soul, it did not betray her as Heart did, but it still needs to be out of her way).

After taking over, Mind, still being betrayed and angry, brings in laws and regulations that actively harm and hinder those of the Hearts suite, inventing discrimination in the Thoughtscape. Yay. She also creates a guard force to make sure heart cannot return, and hunt him down if he does. Around the same time, she dyes her hair brown (usually it’s a blue-ish black), starts wearing orange contacts and begins to use silicone and make-up to cover up her mechanical parts to more closely resemble whole, so she can gain more public favour. This is harmful for her, as her metal is exposed to prevent overheating.

Heart meanwhile, manages to crawl their way out of Apathy (which turned into a ravine when the Thoughtscape shifted), and is found by the That Handsome Devil Power Hour crew who will be referred to as the Devils. Being rather inhuman at the moment due to everything, torn up, and covered in blood and dirt, they don’t recognise him. They do, though, take him back to Connie’s (Chonny’s Inferno) bar.

There, Heart is cleaned up and discovers how hard life has become for people since Mind took full rule over everything. They become resolute in their decision and begin to plan a coup with the Devils, to take Mind off the throne.

Meanwhile in the real world Whole has begun feeling like absolute shit and has no idea why. Good for him.

and that’s it! that’s the idea of the au. jazz hands. it’s really made by the little relationships between the characters, though hms are the driving forces. like angel’s (laplace’s angel) ‘i can fix her’ attitude towards mind, drin (a drink to death) and artimer’s (art) weird love-hate-get-drunk-together relationship, tommy’s (tomcat disposables) antics hiding out in the castle. there’s a lot more detail but that’s the best summary i can give.

so after ray and frank meet the chibis they sprint home bc what the fuck but the chibis are neat and curiosity killed the teen so they went back to learn more and also because “it’s FUCKIN ALIENS RAY THINK OF SCIENCE” “you’ve never thought about science a day in your life”

so when they get back they learn that as part of their parasitic abilities the chibis can change your appearance when they help you transform. the chibis are pretty weak after their arrival so they have to have objects or permanent changes for them to be able to change you. jets chibi has sunglasses that they need, ghouls have snake bites that represent in their kj form as fangs, kobra has the classic mikey beanie that turns into the good luck helmet, and party turns gerard’s roots red and their hair completely red when they become party.

they also learn about what is after the chibis (this will DRASTICALLY change depending on the result of the plot poll) so ray takes the chibis and their respective objects with them back to his house.

the next day frank is taking the chibis to a grocery store to try and better explain food to them when a robbery happens. he panics and asks the ghoul chibi to transform him so that he can fight back. this leads to him being the first magical girl and (eventually) one of the fab four

he gets his name later down the line when a reporter asks what the papers should call him while he was fighting a monster or something, ghoul yells fuck you the reporter mishears and he just rolls with it.
