If ANY of yall EVER do this shit to me, im deleting every single fic out of spite.
If I ever catch one of yall doing this to another author and I know youre a follower of my work I will block you personally on every platform
Tumblr media
None of yall are the fic police. I DESPISE genai. I think its an insult to art, humanity, and the planet itself. But aint not a single fucking person here qualified to pick apart a strangers fic looking for a gotcha moment to make yourselves feel superior. If you think something is ai you can ask the author (most are proud of the ai use and will just tell you straight up) if they say yes you have your answer and can warn people. If they say no and you dont believe them you block and quietly keep it between you and maybe a close group of friends. Spreading misinformation is DANGEROUS. And NONE of you doing this shit are anywhere near qualified to do it.
THIS GOES DOUBLY FOR ARTISTS.

Absolutely not related to past events but hello and welcome back metal band au.........Anyway.
Gort is giving vocals, kinda guy who fucks the mic stand on stage, knows 5 accords and will showcase them every show but doesn't actually play guitar (or really knows anything about it). Vocal range off the charts though
Ketheric is giving bass and e-guitar. And ripped vests. And hats............ Ketheric is Hans Platz with a sprinkle of Slash to me. This is a pervert thing.
Durge is giving lead guitar, primarily e-guitar but sometimes acoustic. Backup vocals just the same as everybody else but softer/slower songs are usually their vocals in the lead while Gort acts as backup
Orin is a solo artist but a frequent collaborator. Guitarist, vocalist and all about dope showmanship. Frequently involves the audience and *loves* to instigate a wall of death rather than a usual moshpit
Bhaal is back there at the drums. He asks for frequent solos. Has a very dedicated off-the-rails fan base and often joins other bands as a special guest. Frequently sparks rumours pertaining Bane.
Bane is just there hanging out. Plays the bagpipes and flutes too but ever since the incident happened they prefer to invite other musicians as special guests rather than letting him anywhere near instruments. Owns the brand.
Myrkul is the overworked, underpaid, always stressed manager. They haven't posted any new pics of him in months. Fans are concerned for him — Bane is now selling solidarity for Myrkul merch.
#band au shenanigans#the incident refers to bane deep throating a recorder#while staring down the poor camera guy#fans were thrilled — gort had a fucking crisis#myrkul is locked in their basement#they feed and visit him but that just adds to his misery#i have decided to treat myself gently those coming days#and that apparently means i wildly fantasise about cruel gods and their chosen founding a band#and fucking equipment on stage i guess#.... LIKE CMON U KNOW THEY WOULD#also yes Bhaal sleeps w his fans Bane absolutely doesn't and for Gort its a case by case decision#he has standards — incredibly high and gold diggery ones as it turns out#he often fights the urge to tackle Bane off the stage but knows it's not proper#Durge has once or twice “ruined' guitars by getting blood on em — a snapped string? won't stop em#ofc Bane and Gort sell those guitars off#Durge hates them for it but also goes “ohhh shiny” everytime they dangle a new one as replacement in front of them#Ketheric appears to be the most chill and private one out of them — which is wrong they just changed the pw for their social media#and didn't tell him#Orin is absolutely done with their bullshit but the arseholes bring in sweet money hence why she still works with em#also the family image is good rep for the brand — its used maliciously to cover up certain peoples standards#there's also rumours Bane and Bhaal have smth but Bane is simply recognised as a great slut by everyone and Bhaal refuses to comment

It’s a gallery of all these different shown in a non-sexualized way and idk it’s kinda damaging to be seeing the same conventionally perfect boobs in every kind of media so its a refreshing insight into how diverse breasts really are.

Before we return to our regular schedule of torturing the fantasy fascist and his genocidal situationship....
Steamed chicken and mushroom buns or oven cheese in baked multi-grain buns? I can't decide.
Also microwaveable steamed buns or will I actually soak my bamboo steamer........ so many questions. The microwave ones are massive but the regular ones have a nice filling to bread ratio and the oven cheese is a mild one which meh but it *is* cheese.

Real talk though, this whole car thing seems like a massive rip off.
Like, okay, first you want me to pay 6k so I can get a license, and if I fail any of those tests I'm gonna have to pay even more on top. Then you want me to buy a car, which is a few more k out of the window alongside a prayer that that used car isn't secretly rusted halfway through cuz no no a newbie shouldn't get a new car you cant afford the insurance.
And then, to top it off, actually filling up the tank with even the cheapest kinda gas is like already 130 bucks each time.
........... Yk this train ticket thingy is like. 60€. A month. For as much train and tram and bus and sub as I like. Idk man I really don't see why the fuck I should get a license. "You don't even have to drive, you should just have one" yeah bitch that's still 6k. Just to get one. If I don't fuck up. Which is fucked up.

Phrasing it like a choice as if that would stop me.
Anyhow, this tiny society that exists somewhere out of the norm is genuinely just beautiful to behold. Like take the campground for example; there are no rules. The organisers put down some baselines like no generators between 24:00-9:00 so people can sleep or no pyro shenanigans, but they don't have rules for how to act, how to set up your little space.... And yet everytime it ends in a peaceful togetherness. People are naturally mindful of the ropes they use to secure their tents, creating little pathways for all to use and setting down little garden lights so you can avoid them even in the dark. Neighbours help each other without question; its getting stormy? Someone offers their neighbours extra rope and hooks to secure their pavilion. Its getting dark but your solar lights aren't working? Someone holds a flashlight without being prompted. Or on the infield. Remember how I tripped in the mud? A random guy I've never seen before saw and offered his drinking water so I could wash the mud off my hands at least. When we got stuck in the mud infront of a booth another offered their hand to help us out onto solid ground. When people in wheelchairs got stuck random strangers came together to lift and carry the wheelchairs and their users back onto solid ground. On Friday they organised a crowdsurfing session specifically for people who have disabilities or rely on any kind of medical aid to partake in the joy that is crowd surfing. When someone in the mosh pit goes down there will always be a hand, without hesitation, to help them up again. Heck even if you just have a stone in your shoe someone will offer their shoulder without question or hesitation.
In general social activism is incredibly big in those communities too. Whether it's inclusion-related, helping society's outcasts with donating tents and sleeping bags and stuff or medical help. The stem cell guys managed to register 7000 new people in just one day. A bunch of others run around proudly wearing their blood donor merch, which you only receive if you donate 6 or more times. The black dog bracelets are *the* sought-after item — in case you haven't heard of it — it's one of the symbols of depression awareness. The lgbtq guys got cheered at, their booth always being well visited. Fuck Nazis patches, stickers, flags, etc. are everywhere (and last year someone apparently decided this was a place to scream right-wing shit — they got quickly beaten up for it and got banned by the organisers).
This year there were also a bunch of acts and people who aren't "metal". Like random comedians and a jazz pianist who got the trash metal stage for his scrap metal piano... They were celebrated and welcomed just the same as all other more traditional acts. Miracle of sound was there too, and they pulled nearly as much people as other well etablished medival bands.
Like of course there's bad sides as well. Nobody's gonna deny that. Shit happens when a bunch of people are drunk and on adrenaline for a week straight. People with horrible intentions actively target these artists and people. Some bands loose their way once they hit greater popularity. And if something like that happens it too is talked about and measures are taken.
But nevertheless as a greater whole it's still just... very mindful, very open and very golden-hearted. People aren't being judged by their origins, ethnicity or what they wear or don't. It doesn't matter if you wear your scars openly or hide them, nobody there will think less of you for having them. Just the denim vests alone are such a massive piece of the individualism everyone there has and they're actively celebrated. Even the non-metal stuff is received incredibly well and welcomed every time. Nobody is mad about the mud or smth, they show understanding for the organisers handling it the best they can and learning from previous instances.
Idk man. It's hard to explain but it seriously is more than just about music or visiting a festival just to boast about it on social media. There's so much heart and passion and love in everything that goes far beyond just visiting a concert. If you have the chance go visit a metal festival just once in your life. Its an incomprehensible experience to be part of that or the community as a whole.
Anyhow can I ramble about metal for a second? Cuz like, folks, I say this in all seriousness, whatever the metal scene does goes far, far beyond just enjoying music. And now that festival's over I am getting sentimental LMFAO
