me, giving advice over the order of games u have to start with in my favorite franchises:

loz: all of them are great you can start with any of them (sends psychic waves your way so you choose the wind waker or twilight princess)

fire emblem: you can start anywhere, but be mindful of the games that are sequels to others, but you can play any of them in any order (sends MASSIVE psychic waves your way so you choose awakening or sacred stones)

xenoblade: you can start with either xenoblade1 or xenoblade2, but you need to play both before playing xenoblade3 (appears inside your walls and also as your paralysis demon chanting "play xenoblade1" until you eventually do so)

here i made a post with my recommendation on which games to start with

but as a side note, the 2 characters i keep drawing and talking about recently aka marth and lucina are from different games

marth is the protag from the first fire emblem game named fire emblem: shadow dragon

lucina is his descendant and is one of the protags from the game fire emblem: awakening

fire emblem games don't have a continuity in the sense that the franchise is more of a anthology when it comes to plot, kinda like the zelda games, so u can start anywhere
