I was wondering about your pain sharing au....i recently had a lucid dream were i was feeling pain and i woke up feeling that pain, which decreased in the next seconds..so, if for example, Twilight dreamed about the pain the shadow inflicted upon him the others would feel that pain even if is a dream?

Ooough those lucid dreams are so weird!!! I've had dreams where I've broken limbs or gotten shot and FEEL the pain in the dream and wake up with the place that was hurting feeling pain too like I wonder how/why that happens

Twilight: dreaming he turns into wolfie and feels the typical wolfie transformation pain in the dream

Everyone else on their own dreams: OOOOOUGH !!!!!????

About the Pain Sharing AU w/ the morse code pinching thing- Imagine if one of the Link's didn't know Morse Code, or they were just in a separate area and not realizing that the others are doing it? Like they're all talking to each other and someone else is farther away and like "man my arm really feels weird" and everyone else is like "PLEASE WE'RE TRYING TO TALK TO YOU 😭"

The link who doesn't know morse code feeling pinching and being like "dude who's doing THAT stop THAT" pinching back twice as hard as revenge lmao

Have you ever seen Quest for Camelot?

I was thinking about your Pain Sharing AU today, as one does, and had a sudden dumb thought.

What if, when the curse is over, some of the Links liked being connected to their brothers in this way, in a weird, love through shared pain sort of way?

And then (mild spoiler alert for Quest for Camelot if you haven't seen it) I thought of the stupid conjoined twins dragon at the end of the movie, having spent their whole lives wanting to be apart from each other, finally having that chance to be two separate beings at last, only to be sad and immediately hug each other and be conjoined again xD

So...do you think any of the Links would jump back into the curse's ricochet blast (a la Quest for Camelot lol) to return to sharing pain rather than remain separated? Lol

ANON I LOVE THAT MOVIE?!?!?! ohmygod I haven't watch it IN AGES, but I was super obsessed with it for years, the songs are 10/10 honestly, "on my father's wings" is such a banger oough

Also THAT SCENE IN THE MOVIE LMAO ONE OF MY FAVES TBH the conjoined dragon twins immediately hugging each other THE MOMENT they're separated and being joined again is such a funny and sweet scene, absolutely loved it

I feel like, even if they hate it I bet the chain would feel the loss not being connected to the others would feel like after the curse is broken

I have seen headcanons about hyrule not coping well with being back on his own post lu adventure, since he was alone his whole life and then suddenly he's surrounded by people and then back to being alone again, so maybe he's the one who'd rather they all stay connected via the curse

I'd also say legend tbh 🤔 like he's already used to sharing pain with ravio, and I feel that he'd feel comfort to still be connected to the others cause feeling pain means they're still alive, right? He can reassure himself the others aren't gone and that they're real that way

So yeah, I nominate the downfall links as the ones who'd probably like to still be connected even when the curse is broken 🤔

Couldnt in your pain sharing au, theoretically the links can like, use their nail ti scratch letters into their arm and write words and comunicate with eachither that way?

I think morse code via pinching would be a better way of communication imo

Cause like, I'm trying to imagine like feeling someone scratching on my arm without me seeing the scratch but only feeling it and like, I personally, could never figure out words that way lmao it would only read as pain to my brain

But Morse code through pinching, if u know Morse code obviously, would be way easier to understand the message 🤔

Thinkin about how Aryll could talk for Tune in Hyrule Warriors and like, what if she could be talk to him during his quest with the chain. Walkie talkie duo but Aryll is also lending her two cents to whatever conversation they’re having. She’s callin up Wild specifically sometimes, new cool older brother (insert angst about wilds concept art little sister here probably)

I am SUCH A FAN of aryll being included in the chain's shenanigans like she is everyone's lil sis !!!!! I am so weak for it !!!!

I am also very weak for the walkie talkie duo, so aryll being included and being able to connect to wild's slate is just...so cute....ooough

Wild like, listens to her voice and sees her and he can't shake the familiarity her face gives him, and how she feels like home but also like he's missing part of his heart ;w;

I ADORE your pain-sharing au and I love Wild so lemme cook

What if they're just chilling and then BAM memory. Wild gets hurt in that memory and they all feel it. Or- they have bad bad BAD brain fog for the rest of the day and Wild's just like "This is my day-to-day y'all". OR MY FAVORITE ONE, they see the memory as well and then sadness and pain and YIPPPEEE

Another idea is that post-TOTK Wild gets phantom pains and it's not bad (FOR HIM BC HE'S USED TO IT) while the rest of the chain is writhing in agony. He takes care of them for the duration of the pain and then a few days later Time corners him and is like "Next time you get those phantom pains, whether or not the curse is still around, you're sitting your ass down." ANYWAYS you don't have to use these its just my brain rot worms wormin' around in my pea sized brain

I do have a lot of ideas for wild pain sharing au content in the comic 🤭

The wild's memories thing have been a subject being discussed in the blog since the au was first created, so trust me that something with them will eventually happen ;)
