Rodrick insists on winning you a stuffed animal from the claw machine, and you put on an oscar-winning performance of being equally as excited every time he tries, and equally as shocked and disappointed every time it slips from the metal grasp. You rub his back consolingly as you walk away once his pockets are officially empty, and he slings an arm over your shoulders as he mutters, "at least you got the beanie baby" with a defeated shake of his head.

You almost let out a little sniffle at the card he gives you (it takes you a couple tries to read it cause good lord, his handwriting really is awful,) which says "ur way too cool and hot and smart for me, but i'm glad u haven't realized that yet. happy valentine's day babe :)" accompanied by the worst drawing of you two as stick figures you've ever seen. He even plays you an extremely sincere but terribly loud love song on the drum set in the communal music room, and the two of you get promptly kicked out halfway through. Ending the day with your face buried in his hoodie, watching some stupid movie, the whole day having cost probably $30 total, you hum against his lips when he kisses you and think about how it was kind of the best day you've ever had. Sure, it made it glaringly obvious that Rodrick Heffley is a total disaster—but c'mon, he's your disaster.

"I'm in love with you too."

There was a pause before anything happened. You can't help the sob ripping from your body, grateful to finally confess. Felix stares at you wide-eyed, mouth agape.

Then, he breaks into a smile.

"Really?" He breathes, wiping rain droplets from his face and pushing his hair back. "You're not just like... saying this?"

"God, I've never meant anything more in my life!" You laugh, and he does too. "So, how about we make this whole fake relationship not so fake?"

"Bold!" He wraps his arms around you, loose enough that you can still lean back to look at him comfortably. "I think that's a great idea. In fact, I think I know the perfect way to confirm this new beginning. Something I've been dying to do."

"Oh?" Your smile grows wider, and he grows closer.

Lightning strikes the moment your lips meet, your chest tightening in the best way. His lips are soft and wet with rain, hand snaking up to cup your cheek. Passion surges between you, the moment intimate despite the people walking past you.

You only break away to breath, reconnecting in an instant, every time feeling like the first. The kiss was healing, and so was Felix, forgetting all your worries when you're with him.

Finally, when the rain got to be too much, you started toward Felix's house, hand in hand. You both shivered, but you didn't feel cold. You had your own personal sunshine in the form of a beautiful freckle-faced boy to keep you warm.

yesteday n today was roadtrip day for m bc auntie took m to Lubee Bat Concervancy as /late/ bday gift !! 💜🦇

we wakes up earlies today n grab brekkie at hotel, then head straight out to Lubee !! 🦇 saw many many trees n pretty flowers on way there !! 🌲💐 dada bug also saw a few bugs n liked lookin at th trees... it remind him of when he was in forest :3

here when we arrives !! i was so so exciteds !!! 💜 th place was very pretty n it had interactive stuff to play wif !!! n many MANY educational signs abt bats n other animals 💕

Lubee was makin a fun event call "Painting with Bats" !! which was very cool bc i an artsy baby n i got to paint... you will never guess... a baby bat !! 🦇

after 3 hour of painting... it was finally time to meet precious bats !!! 💜 it was most wonderful experience ever... got to feed bat n see them up close !!! i was in LOVE !!! there was dis pretty bat call Bellatrix, she very cute n ROUND !? she was chuggin strawberry jam all by herself !!! 🍓 (i cri while feedin bat ofc... i was so excited) 💕

after dat it was time to go... but got to visit gift shop n got some goodies !!! ✨ i present to all of u... the newest member of m bat family: Nugget !! 🦇🤎 he is th fluffiest n cutest little brown bat !! ✨ n he came wrapped in a blankie !! 🩵 wif all th bat stuffie i got i could make m own mini conservancy !! :00 EEE !! 💕

Soundproof! It must be soundproof bc all the random noises one can hear in an apartment block trigger my safety alert mode and throw me off my game 😅 I would also agree to a couple of ANBU positioned at the entrance to guard my peace - and I'm only half kidding! So it must be a concern free area, preferably a cozy kitchen with a big table and low lights ^^ Somehow, creating in a space designed for another activity boosts my inspiration xD

💪 What does your real daily creative routine look like? Morning, afternoon, or night?

My perfect creating conditions: kitchen, late evening (past 11 pm), all the people in the world are sound asleep, a peach candle, nice playlist or the sounds of rain/park... BUT in reality this combo is hardly ever possible 🥲 The apartment i currently live in has a very uninspiring kitchen; my attempts at a healthy lifestyle require going to bed earlier, or my brain is simply fried by the end of the day, and i'm not capable of producing anything worthwhile. So these days i carve out a free evening around the weekend, here and there, and write or draw in The Chair on my balcony :3 Not bad either i guess ☺️

What a relevant question 😅Literally yesterday i suddenly realized i needed to review my schedule to allow myself more free time and finally breathe out 😮‍💨I'm one of those people who tend to fill every minute with some activity, you know:

😆😆😆again, i'm only half kidding hehe. My plan is to make little changes to my routine:

take a break from one regular activity (sorry, gym, but i need those 5 hours a week that you take away from me + money saving!)

do my grocery shopping in different stores to go on more evening walks (brain enjoys small changes + it needs some rest from the constant stimulation to perform deep thinking, connect ideas, etc.)

spend more time in public places ('people watching' can be curious and inspiring 😄i'm enjoying having coffee in cafes now, so some daily tasks can be done there instead of at my desk)

enjoy the summer 🌞🌻🍓(eat strawberries and ice-cream, organize a trip to the beach, play badminton, read outside, explore the parts of the town i've never been to etc.)

So basically it's all about taking some pressure off and diversifying daily experiences ✨😊And mb allowing yourself to just stare outside the window for an hour (okay at least 20 minutes) and not feel guilty for wasting those precious minutes. Get rid of the "I could've been doing that" thinking and accept stillness/boredom.

make a pinterest board of what their garden may look like! flowers, herbs, vegetables, fruit, perhaps?

maybe you can start a little garden yourself! maybe a small flower to put in your window sill, or maybe green onions to keep in your kitchen?

if they grow fruit, maybe you could learn how to make pies or jams!

if they grow flowers, maybe find a list of flowers they would grow. perhaps after a while they pick them and put them into a bouquet for you?

make flower jewelry! there's flower patterned friendship bracelets, flower shaped beads and charms, things like that! you could do that with fruit, too!

draw them covered in dirt from gardening! or, you could draw them with a basket of the goodies they grew!

if they grow vegetables, find some recipes you'd like to try with what they grew! maybe you could learn how to make them?

do they have a bag of things they bring with them when they garden? make a collage perhaps of the things they carry! cutters for snipping flower or vegetable stems, gloves, extra fertilizer?

do they like wearing silk? if so, find some silk clothing they would spin themselves!

its getting close to Halloween, so, maybe you can find some web decorations to hang up in your room!

spiders are nearsighted! so, maybe you could make a design for cute little glasses they could wear?
