#this one is very easy to get strange angles with. because it's just got so many weird shapes on it #porygon #bald #even the original front-facing angle was strange and you could barely tell it's front-facing #hell‚ this angle you can at least tell what it's supposed to be #if you remember the realpokemon post. you remember #this thing also got like banned from the anime or some shit because of an episode that featured it giving kids seizures #fucking did i almost just type “seasures”?? hello?? where am i #even though it was pikachu who initiated the explosion that caused the seizures. and iirc it wasn't even that many seizures #it was like the galaxy note7. where only like 20 or so phones actually exploded but it still got banned from planes #or maybe i'm remembering Every tidbit of information here incorrectly!#y'see folks. this is why i am not a reliable source of information #because i will not be fact checking any of this and instead i'll end off the post with “but idk lol”#edit: it was a lot of seizures. and yes this justifies taking the episode off the air but i don’t feel like the pokémon itself #deserves to be banned from the anime is my point. plenty of folks still like this pokémon #hmm. i wonder if i maybe shouldn’t be spreading middle school rumors on the middle school rumors website

12 year old tim realizing robin’s not coming back to gotham and deciding that it’s Batman’s fault so he has to ruin the little bit of sanity and peace of mind Bruce has managed (read: struggled) to keep in his grasp:

Note for someone to turn into a story: one way to give the middle generation/s on a generation ship a purpose in life, aside from "raise the children whose children will eventually land on the colony world," could be as creators of art and story. Music too.

Just imagine: you have your whole life ahead of you with all the training and materials of this vast spaceship at your disposal, and all of society plans to revere the creative masterpieces you and your peers come up with.

No pressure.

But yes possibility.

#somebody write about that #I haven't heard this story before #generation ships #they always feel like such a depressing concept #because nobody ever plans anything for the middle generations to DO #but what if they were the Shakespeares #the Rennaissance artists #the ones able to create a vast body of work over their lifespans #the best of which would become required reading in schools #for centuries to come #it wouldn't be hard to arrange #a few regular contests for quality #a good system for recording and preserving #and the leadership makes the best readily available to society #bingo bango you've got some new classics #to go along with the old ones from humanity's original home world #wouldn't that be something #writing prompts #in spaaace

thinking so hard about the very shitty au i wrote when i was on wattpad where Lucy (fairy tail) met the guild as a kid but they had their memories wiped at the end of it and didn't remember her, so when she finally meets natsu again SHE remembers them but they don't remember her. also she was their enemy when they first met and when she ran away from her father it was because he tried to create one of the time travel gates but he had to sacrifice a celestial wizard to even try and get it operating. i think she had two older siblings in this au too? anyway i never posted it but it was so incredibly long and I can't get into my wattpad account anymore so it's gone forever so i can't even reread it and laugh at how badly written it was
