fake psychic Tim but its just. its just psych. Jason dies and batman goes off the deep end so Tim (instead of becoming robin) starts going ham on the 'tips to the police' bc if the police can deal with the smaller crimes then Tim doesn't have to worry about batman killing a petty thief.
Except he's running himself into the ground and he starts getting sloppy bc he's giving the local police info, and bludhaven info (bc dick) AND probably giving Nightwing info when he can and someone catches him or he leaves a paper trail and then Officer Dick Grayson apprehends him and takes him in for questioning and Tim is like "you can't talk to me without my parents or a lawyer present, I'm a minor. And my parents are in Guatemala, so you better call my lawyer."
and Dick is like "kid you're not in trouble i just need to know who's giving you this information." Because there is NO WAY this kid isn't working with someone. Someone who is using a child to drop off information, which while noble to help the police, is putting this child in danger and tim is like, pretty offended actually. That it's being implied that he COULDN'T do this himself.
So he's like "im not working for anyone."
and Dick is like "you have to be getting the info from somewhere. I just wanna help."
and Tim is like AUGH ADULTS "I just- i figured it out on my own" and its CLEAR that Dick doesn't believe him which is, first off, super insulting, never meet your heroes, and second he shouldn't be talking anyway or admit that he goes out at night or Dick will do something stupid like try to make him stop. So he's like (rolling eyes) "I'm psychic. Are you happy? Can I have my phone call now?"

Kaeya would just have a shelf full of jars of homemade jam, and most of them are for Klee, so she would have bread with jam as a snack when she goes on adventures

Its so annoying when fictional characters clearly only do something because their creators are unimaginative about how to get more tv drama out of them
#ngl this is mostly about greys anatomy i keep thinking about rewatching it and then remembering that the version i made up in my head#is better.#the two biggest bugbears being Derek Shepherd's decision to stay with Addison - that was CLEARLY only so that the Meredith Derek will they#wont they thing could drag on#a man who walks in on his best friend and his wife in bed together and reacts by walking out of his marriage so hard#that he lands in a different city and persues and obviously considers himself single does not then REFUSE DIVORCE when its offered#i love Addison and Im glad we have her but she should have turned up to tell derek SHE wasnt going to sign the divorce papers that HE sent#(relationship difficulties between Meredith and Derek would still have ensued because he hadnt told her about an estranged wife - and also#Meredith has her own issues and Derek should also have been allowed to have his traumatic childhood delved into)#the OTHER thing i just do not buy is Meredith interfearing with the Alzheimer's trial. like. im sorry. i just dont.#honestly id have brought *Derek* being pressured by his former mentor and a 'what if it was Meredith' guilt trip- that actually could have#been interesting to explore- Derek proceeding to feel guilty and conflicted and also Derek's relationship with SOMEONE OTHER THAN MER#alternatively just....just have Webber do it? and Mer maybe catch him but not be sure what she saw???#ANYWAY#...

#i’m struggling to figure out the beginning of the story#specifically: anith’s falling out with pebs closest friend (/qpp) emmyn#where emmyn is a little too blithe and oblivious and self centered to be a good partner to anith#and anith is too passive to call out when emmyn oversteps pebs boundaries and just builds up resentment over time#the conflict Really starts when emmyn starts messing with magic crystals neither of them understand (against anith’s advice)#(especially bad since anith is an experienced magi-geologist and knows how to deal with this sort of thing safely)#emmyn ends up getting magically overloaded and irreversibly possessed by it and in the ensuing fight ends up hurting anith badly#(i was thinking emmyn encases anith in crystal forcing anith to also bond with the crystals against pebs will and OH I GOT IT)#maybe the crystals can sort of. bring people under their power back to life#so emmyn accidentally fatally blasts anith with her newfound magic and encases peb in crystal to incorporate peb in the network#and then when anith wakes up and busts out of the crystal on pebs own (horrified at what peb has been turned into) THATS when they fight#and THATS when anith decides emmyn’s too far gone to be saved#oc: anith pebsen#oc: emmyn cressori

the thing about jason todd is utrh will forever be my favorite greek tragedy of a comic and dc has in the 20+ years since refused to ever treat jason seriously and with actual thought as a narrative (and moral) foil again so until that changes it's like...I still care about him a lot but I have nothing else I can possibly say on him.
#jason's final speech in utrh is giving a voice to the victims of the joker and by proxy the no killing rule in a way that wasn't just -#- frowny face made by batman or gordon but a real person coming back like a fury to demand justice and vengeance and agency#and the ensuing decades both in comics and fandom have in turns treated him as a mindlessly violent idiot or a hysterical trauma victim#but never again as a true foil for bruce to go toe to toe with. and i can't do anything with the scraps of what's left#looking back on dc fandom also still makes my blood pressure rise#just so many people unironically going i can accept human rights violations and torture as good but i draw the line at murder

the way the most recent pokemon games don't let you turn off the exp share or the affection mechanic bonuses is nothing short of maddening. i think they make great accessibility features If Only They Were Optional and the flavour text is cute, but i want to have a fun casual playthrough that's at least mildly challenging without having to make it a nuzlocke or something. i don't want to feed my starter bitter medicines to make her hate me :(

PLEASE....#i can't do nuzlockes i do Not have the willpower to stick to the rules and they stress me out haha#anyway i am a fool who's left all of my DS games in norway and i got a hankering for replaying sinnoh games#so i decided to get shining pearl right. figured it might be fun even if ill miss the 4th gren spritework something fierce#what ensued was a needlessly complicated process just to get a copy that was slightly cheaper than full price nintendo blood money#there's a store that listed shining pearl at a lower price. not brilliant diamond - just pearl#i feel like maybe it's by mistake since that's the price of a nintendo DS cartridge. so maybe wires got crossed#the norwegian version of the store does NOT have the price disparity.#anyway i can't order online without a swedish phone number. and the local store is out of stock#so i have several long walks to the store to get them to order it in for me and then to order it delivered to me etc#and then of course another long walk to pick up the mail BUT I HAVE IT NOW. I HAVE VIDEO GAME#and it's very nice and nostalgic with a couple quality of life upgrades#my first pokemon game was pokemon diamond. when i got it i was still learning english and had no idea what was happening at any time#good times good times#obviously no pokemon run is ever gonna be as challenging as my first ever run#it does not need to be! u can immediately tell that a lot of difficulty in earlier games is that leveling up your team was a hassle#and almost always required grinding. i do not miss that at all ! but the remakes seem to be Extremely Faithful#so they're not rly structured around how fast you can level your whole team#or that your pokemon are gonna start doing extra crits or hold on to last HP before u even get to the third gym#OH WELL#you know what's very exciting for me though. i have a misdreavous!!! they're pearl exclusive and not in platinum#ive always wanted to do a sinnoh run with a misdreavous on my team for some reason
