Synopsis of AU: When Billy is chosen to be the Champion of magic he knows that there is something other  than just the gods with him, someone else. He can feel them when he walks, feels them when he's doing good, feels them every time he uses his powers. But it's only when he is hit by a being known for splitting souls does he find out what it is.

Billy and Marvel are split. The two gain their own fiscal forms and have to find a way to fix it. But along the way they become more independent, more different, more them. And they grow to care about each other not as another part of themselves but as individuals. The living lightning needs its host but both of them don't want to fully be one again. 

Billy was so young when he was chosen, he doesn't know who he is without the magic influencing his soul. What ye likes, what he dislikes. Who he is outside of being a hero.

And Marvel, living lighting, the champion, Loves Billy. And every other Champion they've been. They are all of them and he would never get rid of the parts of themselves they have left on his…being…power…soul. On his soul. But oh does he love being his own person, making their own decisions and calls, feeling so... human.

The two argue and fight and bicker and they love it. they don't want to go back to the mix they were before. Do they need each other? Desperately. They Want, need to be one again by any means necessary. But not the same way as before.

Instead of merging their souls back together, they instead find a way for them to keep their individuality, 2  concesiones, two souls, in one body. Billy calls it Something akin to DID or Hauntings. Marvel just nods along happily in his astroprojected form as he watches Billy eat ice-cream.

started with the headcanon that drift hung around the clinic like a feral wet cat for a while, then halfway through shading these, I started thinking, what if deadlock was an especially reliable assassin because he knew what kind of damage would make sure that even the best of the best couldn't bring you back

I don’t think we’ve ever seen you draw knight of dawn before 🤔 what are your thoughts about him? Or take?

I've drawn him a couple of times, just really little/in the background. but I should draw him more, I love this guy a lot! I have many, many thoughts about him and the way he parallels Silver...and also I think it is extremely funny that his ghost is stuck in a ring. especially considering where that ring has been for the last 16-ish years.

Dean drunkenly bragging about being best best best friends with Cas to someone at a bar and he's like "here look I'll call him, I'll talk to him" and proceeds to call him with no answer 50 times in a row and the other person keeps trying to gently be like "maybe he's busy?" "are you sure you're actually friends? Does he know that you're friends?" "Maybe you should stop trying" And Dean is like "no no no we are we are best friends he's gonna pick up" like this is a totally normal thing that happens between all friends

It irritates me alot when people say that making medic more compassionate is ''missing the point of his character'' when he is literally shown to be in the comics.... did you miss the part where he showed concern for both sniper and miss pauling's well being in comic 5 and 6.

His actions are a combination of genuine attachment + clinical interest and these things do not cancel out one another. He is always pushing boundaries and going against the grain and i think this is what led to him losing his license in the first place. He felt stifled by the rules imposed on him.

He is shown to be extremely passionate so it makes sense that he would use his endless fascination with medicine as a way to show his affection. He loves his friends so he will find a way to make them borderline indestructible. Malpractice is his love language.
