He was the first to introduce himself but from his tone you could tell he was forced to offer the hospitality towards you.

During the wait for Liu Kang's orders, you explored the place and had stumble upon Bi-Han when he was training his men. You were bored so you decided to join.

From there was how you slowly started to know him.

Starting by having a friendly duel to having brunch at the garden. He was surprisingly not as scary as he appears to be.

It was probably your patience and elegance that made him fall hard for you.

He can't explain it but there was this aura about you that just seemed to be drawing him in.

So when he confessed to you after he had invited you over for a formal dinner. That was when things took a huge turn.

Rarely anyone gets that high of a praise.

When in a relationship, his curiosity would peak and he would ask questions about your powers and your backstory.

While telling him your family reputation and the origin of where you got your abilities, he would be listening closely.

You taught yourself how to control and enhance your skills? He likes you even more.

You have daddy issues? Say less.

Whatever it is, he'll just listen to you with his brows slightly raised as you have his complete interest.

Since you're the only one he feels like he can share his problems to, he would definitely share his frustration concerning his father's beliefs about the Lin Kuei.

You would try to help him through it but even with your endless love and care. His betrayal would be inevitable.

When you learned of his betrayal through his brothers, it left you completely shattered.

How could he do this?

Did he not even consider the harm he could do when he did that?

Did you never cross his mind?

All of these thoughts haunted you.

And so did his consequences did to him.

His thirst for power and control consumed him to the fact that he had failed to realise he had lost you in the process.

Countless nights of staring at the wall as he loses sleep...

Until one day he decided to go and set out to find you. When he did, he hid himself in the shadows while watching you pack your stuff.

You were leaving to Japan with his brothers.

The dark circles around your eyes and the glow you always had on you was gone.

His actions had entirely ruined you...

Once he was sure it was just you and nobody else, he would step out of the bushes and choose to approach you. A dumb but desperate move.

The second your eyes settled on him. There was no warmth... but rage in your eyes.

"I never left... you did..." You'd say, then gently removing his arms around you which he let's you without resisting.

"You left me... like I was nothing to you..." You looked at him, staring at the way his face was unreadable but you could see the glimpse of hopeless in his eyes.

"I'm just glad this time I get to say goodbye" You'd then reach out to hold the side of his face... before turning to leave with your belongings.

He doesn't stop nor chases after you but rather just stands there and watch as you go.

The heartbreaking realisation that he was no longer the reason for you to stay.. but to run away.

Eddie is the freak, has always been the freak, will always be the freak. Even when his band makes it big, he'll be marked as the weird one, the devil worshipper, the satanist.

He doesn't mind it most of the time. Sometimes he even embraces it, usually in public, mostly to throw off the bullies. But there's times when he looks at the jocks and the popular kids and he wonders what would happen if he just conformed. His life would be easier right?

Look at Steve Harrington, for example. Rich, popular guy, athletic, charming, good with the ladies. Probably gets a C or better average in classes. He'll probably go to an Ivy League school and work for his dad's company, marry Nancy Wheeler and pop out two kids, live in Hawkins forever, and then retire so he can spend time with his grandchildren. The perfect life.

Eddie wishes that could be enough for him. He wishes he could wake up in the morning and decide that being a good student and wearing nice clothes and shooting balls into laundry baskets was good enough. It would definitely make things easier on him, easier on Wayne.

He can shut off his nonconformist mentality and do what society says is good for him. He knows he can.

But he won't.

Because as much as he sees Steve and his buddies thriving, he also sees them struggling. They sneak out to meet him when their parents are in bed or out of town to buy whatever product will help them numb the feeling of not being good enough while giving the best they can. They drink until they don't remember how they failed that test that was their ticket to a passing grade in science class. They put others down because it's the only way they feel big.

Steve in particular is damn good at hiding how miserable he is to everyone. Everyone except Eddie.

He sees when Steve sits in his car alone after practice, dropping the fake smile and the alluring charm. He sees him wipe his hand over his face, through his hair, biting his lip until it's damn near bleeding.

At the Harington house parties, Steve sneaks off alone for a while, and Eddie's found him alone by the pool, sitting on the floor against his bed, even in the bathtub in a hidden bathroom upstairs.

He used to envy Harrington's house, how spacious it was, how he never had to wonder if the lights would turn on or the stove would work. But when he realized that Harrington was the only one throwing parties because his parents were never home, he saw that the house was depressing, empty, lonely. Steve was basically alone at 17 years old, probably long before that.

Sometimes he still thinks he could talk to Steve one of those times he catches him alone, probably even have a decent conversation. He might be funny, and Eddie's sure he'd fall victim to his charm. He's never been mean to Eddie or his friends directly.

Maybe they could even be friends once the whole high school thing is said and done and they don't have to keep pretending any of this matters.

He looks over at Steve now as he contemplates what a friendship with him might look like.

Maybe they'd smoke together, stare up at the stars and get introspective about their existence. Maybe Steve would convince him to try playing a sport and Eddie would give in because when Steve smiles in a certain way, it makes him lightheaded.

Maybe he doesn't have to be jealous of the life Steve lives if he's a part of it.

Jeff nudges his arm and he focuses back in on the conversation around him.

"You good, man?" He asks.

Eddie nods, looks down at his lunchbox.

"Frankie suggested we add some Maiden to the setlist next week."

"Sure, yeah, sounds good."

Maybe Steve would want to come hear him play next week.

He finally left before your boyfriend could come back and you were quite sorry to see him leave. He didn’t even give you his phone number so you knew it was just a one time thing. And it really sucked because you had never felt so satisfied in your whole life, and you wondered if you had been good enough. You sighed and fell asleep soon after.

Now, in the car, you were trying hard to not get wet just at the thought of Bo’s hands on you. Your skin kept his memory and you shivered in delight and desire.

Despite this happy time, you couldn’t stop yourself from getting very frustrated at your boyfriend. You just wanted him to find a way out of this nowhere. You were about to say something unpleasant when the car suddenly stopped. You both looked at each other in pure confusion. He got out of the car and looked around before opening the hood of the car without finding anything wrong. The car still had oil too. 

You remembered that when Bo and you left the bar, he had asked you what kind of car your boyfriend was driving and you had pointed at it. You had asked why, finding the question strange, and he told you he was a mechanic and hence he was analysing people through the kind of cars they were driving. It had made you giggle at the time.

You shook your head, there was no way Bo did something to the car.

Thankfully a truck came in your direction and stopped close by. Your boyfriend tried to prevent you from leaving his side, but you quickly came to the driver, to ask for help. There was no way that your boyfriend’s ego was going to let you die in the middle of nowhere.

“Hey, thanks for stopping” you started and the man stepped out of his truck, sending a glance at the car from far away before looking back at you. He seemed to try and recognise you.

“No prob. Somethin’ wrong?” he asked and you smiled at how his southern accent seemed to be even worse than Bo’s. Gosh, you needed to stop thinking about the man.

“Don’t know, the car just stopped working” you sighed “We were supposed to go in Texas” you explained and the man sent you an amused look

“Oh ya’re far away from it!” he softly teased before losing his smile at the way your boyfriend sent him a vicious glance.

“Can you help? You know something about cars?” you asked, hopeful

“Don’t, but my bro does. Can drive ya to Ambrose and he’ll know what to do” he offered and you instantly agreed. 

Your boyfriend didn’t want to climb into the dirty truck full of dead animals but you didn’t give him the choice. The journey to the place went by through a very tense and awkward silence. You tried to be friendly with the man because he was helping you even though he didn’t have to, but your boyfriend was making things hard, and you promised yourself you were going to break up as soon as you would be in a big enough city for you to find a way back home without difficulties. 

You arrived at Ambrose soon enough. You had never heard about this town before, and you believed you didn’t even see it on google map. Strange. You were a little bit uneasy at how empty it seemed too. You left the truck and thanked the man again before your boyfriend and you walked to the mechanic shop. There was no one there and you felt a little bit worried, wondering where the brother might be. Your boyfriend was ready to look into every corner of the place and he opened the church doors. You hadn’t followed him so you didn’t know what happened but by the way he looked embarrassed, you knew he must have walked in a ceremony. Great, now people of the town weren’t going to be keen on helping you. Soon after, a very good looking man in a black suit left the church and went straight to your boyfriend to make him apologise for such a behaviour. You were stunned; it was Bo. And you hated how hot he looked in this outfit. And how hot he looked yelling at your boyfriend. You walked closer to the two men arguing.

“Hi” you shyly said and Bo calmed down when he saw you. 

“What are ya doin’ here, love?” he asked you and your boyfriend knew something was going on, and he didn’t like it at all.

“Our car broke down in the middle of the road and your brother, I think, brought us here, saying you could help” you explained

“You know each other?” your boyfriend asked as he forcefully grabbed your arm

“We met last night at the bar.” you simply said. Bo removed the man’s hand from you

“How ‘bout ya ain’t touchin’ her” he told him in a calm and yet very dangerous voice. 

Fuck, you were wet. You so wished your boyfriend could disappear so you could jump on Bo and have sex with him one more time. You could tell there was something dark and violent about Bo, but you really didn’t care at the moment. He was everything you desired.

Your boyfriend pushed Bo away and started to insult him. Bo didn’t look impressed at all and he sent you a look. You knew he was enjoying your sight with the way his eyes travelled your body up and down. He thought for a few seconds, before saying:

“Be a good girl and wait for me inside” he gestured towards his shop with his head. You didn’t know why but you obeyed. 

Maybe it was because you loved the idea to be his “good girl”. Your boyfriend called after you, but you didn’t answer. Something inside of you knew what was going to happen, and you were thrilled. Once you were safely in the mechanic shop, you soon after heard your boyfriend scream and beg and then run away. There was a gunshot and then the sound of something falling hard on the ground. 

Bo walked inside his shop, his gun still fuming. You were sitting on his counter and you opened your legs, revealing your panties as you were wearing a skirt.

“Now you killed my boyfriend, maybe you could take care of me again” you said and Bo’s smirk appeared on his face.

Yes, that's very true, Ryan has been consistently hated/viewed with suspicion and skepticism for years, so the majority of buddie fandom (who are Oliver stans) wouldn't want to ship him with Oliver. I distinctly remember one particular post (in Ryan's tag) a year or two ago that was like, "ugh if buddie goes canon i feel sorry for oliver having to kiss that man" 🙄

Take heartstopper for example... Kit and Joe plan Nick and Charlie who are very in love but in reality they're just very good friends but people insist on shipping them or the Bridgerton actors that play Colin and Penelope as well... people project the feelings of their characters into their real life personalities because of the chemistry the actors have together. It's hard to comprehend the idea of acting so close to someone and play lovers and have so much chemistry but not falling in love

So this thing with Daemon being a dreamer and the circulating theories of him becoming immortal after the battle of the God’s Eye, or him becoming a greenseer. I do not care. But I am concerned.

I mean, I was happy that he saw all that. I haven’t seen it but I think it will be quite an epic vision. But I don’t want him to become a dreamer per se. I wanted him to believe in the prophecy, yes. I wanted him to be more open minded to the fantastic world that is Westeros. But I don’t want him to become like Bran, you know? This stoic person that doesn’t really feel anything because he already knows how everything will happen and that he should not interfere because the things that have to pass will pass as it’s written. Heleana is this character. She wasn’t that sad about Jaehaerys’ death because she accepted that it was meant to happen. Daemon is not like that. We love Daemon because he is this unpredictable beast who feels as deeply as he rages. I don’t want his essence to ever change, I wanted his edges polished for the sake of his loved ones. But I want to see Daemon’s rage when Viserys and Aegon are captured. I want him to burn everything in his pain. I want Daemon being Daemon, like he was in season 1 episode 6, 7 and 8, when he was already older, calmer and softer, yet still capable to behead Vaemond in the blink of an eye. I think that’s my favorite version of Daemon (although I also love his younger years). I also don’t want him to go after Aemond in the God’s Eye because he knows that’s how it’s supposed to play out, knowing Rhaenyra will die later in such a horrible way but accepting it. It takes away from his sacrifice. I loved that in the book he goes to face Aemond to protect Rhaenyra, because Aemond is the last real threat to her (supposedly). I don’t want him to know that it’s not but going there anyway because it was foretold. Nop, I don’t like it. 🙂‍↔️

I also don’t like if he becomes immortal. Although I adore him, I want him to die there. 🫣

Now that I’ve heard about the whole picture, I feel slightly disappointed. Did Daemon really just accepted Rhaenyra because he saw it in the vision that she was meant to be queen? Or did Alys show him the vision because she knew he was ready to do the right thing? I do like that all this time Alys has been training him for that. I do enjoy that in a very weird way. Like she saw potential in him to be a good person but she had a lot of work to do before he got to that point. Hmm that I like. 🤔😌

Another odd thing. Last episode Oscar Tully made it abundantly clear that the army was for Rhaenyra and to Daemon as her representative. But in the leaked scene it seems the army would turn against Rhaenyra if Daemon said so because they were fiercely loyal to him. When did that happen? How did it happen? Am I the only one that got surprised? 🤔🤨

And finally … yes yes I know we cannot be greedy with how the season has been. But! I wanted a private scene with Daemon and Rhaenyra after the army scene. I wanted intimacy! To make up for lost time. I don’t want him to be best buddies or old colleagues, as Emma pointed out, I want them to be lovers! Passionate lovers! I want to erase the memory of Rhaenyra’s kiss with Mysaria and of Daemon’s scene with Alyssa. Because they are the main couple, yet we saw them with other people and we don’t see them having loving scenes together. Couldn’t they give us that?? I think not and we should be happy we got that “bend the knee” scene. But, as a fan of season 1, I needed to see passion. I needed to see how much they missed each other. 🤓😳

And now I’ll have to wait 2 years. Not knowing what evil schemes the writers will prepare for season 3. 😬

Yk, something about my Eddie fell first essay, I never really went like "oh this is something that could be proven right by canon" mostly because when I wrote that I was still dealing with buddie being a distant possibility not something that's so close I can taste, but then Ryan was let out of interview jail. Then I went full conspiracy theorist. (Please note everything from here on out is a conspiracy theory that will most likely never be confirmed or denied so I'll live in it forever) I had made the post about how I think Ryan is playing Eddie as in love with Buck, the question was whether he was being told to do that or he was just playing it up as much as they allowed him to because we know Ryan supports the ship, and then Ryan said the "this goes beyond friendship and I love you to the core" thing.

He said he talked to someone about what it meant for Eddie to do that, because he didn't understand it at first, and then that's the conclusion he reached. But the thing is, that line "I love you to the core" specifically means so much in the context of the season, to say I love you to Buck like that in season 4 is so MONUMENTAL, that I wanna believe one of the writers straight up told him "yo this is a love confession" and explained it to him like that, and he has been playing Eddie with that line in mind ever since, and that's why he had that locked and loaded for the interview. Because, like, I, in my most normal day, am out here arguing they casted Ryan with a plan, even more considering the way Eddie was written for Ryan, they could very much have told him "look, play with the chemistry you and Oliver have, if the audience likes with might amp it up, if we're lucky we might go there someday" because you have moments in season 2, but season 2 is still very low stakes, but then when I think about the the season 3 of it all, the there's nobody in this world I trust with my son more than you, the lawsuit, and well of it all and the way they put Ryan in pr jail after Eddie begins, an episode that would retroactively be HUGE for buddie but it's pretty big for them anyway, I'm like 🤔 because we all saw Ryan talking about buddie this past month, the guy CANT SHUT UP, and if he was told something during season 3 or 4 along the line of "play it up, we are gonna fight to make this happen", putting him in pr jail would make sense, because they can't risk him saying something if they're not sure they can deliver, because how fast they dealt with Buck being bi while in a new network makes me convinced someone on fox was blocking it and nothing will convince me otherwise. But now they can, so they let Ryan run free. Because you can make a VERY strong argument that Eddie is aware of something during season 5 and 6, season 6 most of all, but you can very much make season 5 queer coded and have Eddie be like "oh I can't ignore how I feel about him anymore", because Ryan also said something about Eddie's breakdown and how that's what allowed Eddie to let Buck "know who Eddie truly is" which is interesting with the way Eddie is constructed, because if Buck is inside the last wall Eddie had up, what's actually stopping Eddie to see he's in love with Buck by the end of the season? Which would make season 6 as a pining season for Eddie make sense. Down to the way the cemetery seems to be pulling these very specific reactions from Eddie that are the same reactions we saw him have in breakups and flights with Shannon. But also things like Eddie's reaction to the lightning being something we never saw from Eddie before AND the way Oliver talked about a scene of Eddie losing his composure during in another life, not during in a flash that we didn't get to see most likely because they completely rearranged 6b because they thought they were gonna get cancelled, so they wouldn't be able to deliver what they had in mind. But now they have nothing but time, season 8 is already confirmed, and by the looks of it abc was like "go for it" with buddie in a way that fox never was, so they finally got to tell Ryan "we're doing it, go crazy" and now we are here. They could prove me right today. About Eddie not about Ryan knowing and some secret plan being in place forever. I don't think it's gonna happen. I seriously don't think it's gonna happen. I'd be more surprised to be proved right than wrong here. But the conspiracy theory is a possibility that felt very real for a second there during promo season lol

So- a Cross Guild Au idea: Buggy (who is TransFem because why not-) and Mihawk meet each other the first time when Roger was executed, they meet each other and are instantly atracted. Mihawk think the girl has a very interesting blue hair and red nose who look like one from a clown, while Buggy finds him handsome and recognize him as the one intenting to be the new Greatest Swordman (I have a Au where Buggy is Raylegh's kid - biologycal or not you can decide).

When they meet, Buggy was running from all what happen between her and Shanks and crying, but she found a place safe from the rain, where Mihawk also was. For a while, they just... look at each other, before they start a quiet talk.

They talk during hours, and when they have to go each to their way, Buggy and Mihawk decide to send letters between them. And they start to talk constantly this way.

But, none of them notice they're falling in love during the time, and it's just when they're 23 and 27 years that them notice this and end up chosing to start a secret relatonship, going on dates when they can.

They date during more-or-less 6 years, and Mihawk propose the idea of them marrying, what Buggy accept full of joy. Buggy is 29 and Mihawk is 33 years when they finally marry, but this all is still a secret, only some of the Buggy Pirates knowing.

And then we go to the present, when the Cross Guild is formed, and they're married and so much in love. Crocodile is pissed and want to beat Buggy, but before he can do that, Mihawk step between and protect Buggy, saying "Don't ever intent to hurt my wife".

Crocodile is TOTALLY chocked, like, why this man so serious is married with a fucking clown?! But he just ignore this and keep going, knowing that ever intent to hit her will end very bad for the Cross Guild.

At all, just Buggy and Mihawk a happy married couple who are the totally opposit of one another <3

PS: will be so funny if Crocodile start to fall in love with Buggy & Mihawk but not accepting it because they're married (Buggy and Mihawk are falling in love with him too)

I’m honestly curious if the spec of a nde for one or both of them is what’s gonna make Eddie realize his feelings for Buck at this point is correct.

Because I can’t really think of what else they are gonna do now to get him to have that moment. The priest seems to have been a one and done (though they could bring him back I guess in theory) and they all already said it wouldn’t be another Eddie goes back to therapy so there’s no Eddie figuring things out and working through them with Frank.

So something has to happen to make Eddie actually stop and go “Oh” Like he definitely took that first step or two last night but just acting free and silly is a far cry from him realizing he’s queer and in love with his best friend lol. Like he’s not going to just randomly wake up one morning going oh I’m queer and love Buck without some driving force behind it.

It's is definitely a possibility. Eddie needs a push in the right direction and if they were both in an accident or something like that, where Eddie had to attend to a wounded Buck (once again), but this time on his own? I do think that this would rattle him enough to start thinking about what exactly it is that he feels for his friend.

There have been a lot of call-backs to past Eddie and Buck centric calls in the previous episodes. There is another call back to the lightning episode in 8x07. The show is definitely showing us a reel of all the Buddie highlights and they're also showing us Eddie's medical skills in every single episode. So I'm thinking something might happen in 8x08 where they both get hurt and Eddie has to use his medical skills to save Buck.

Knowing 911, this will be a cliffhanger and we won't know how it turned out until after the hiatus.

It's all very intriguing. Can't wait to see if all our speculations were right or wrong. 🤔😋
