There are SO many cool interactions and lore things we can look forward to now that Rubius says he'll come back to QSMP (not only as an angel / demon, but potentially as a human too!), but that little detail reminded me of something:

Even though q!Vegetta and q!Rubius were mutually interested in each other wayyyy back in the beginning of the series, as an Angel / Demon, Rubius said he can't have relationships with humans because it's against the rules.

But a bit ago on stream, Rubius said that he's thinking about having a "human" side so he can build and do more things on the server as a regular player. I'm excited because this means he can have more casual interactions with people and we can see him interacting with his friends more (and he can experience The Horrors), but also...

I think we're in for some very interesting drama in the next few weeks.*

* ( Assuming Rubius doesn't get harassed off the server by toxic shippers and weird fans of the Eggs again. Please be nice to Rubius and welcome him back kindly, he's a very cool guy and his character is SO interesting )

the tech advantage…isn’t, by the way, turns out jumping into a universe several centuries behind yours means, sure, you’ve got jump drives and fancy guns that they don’t, but a few years of warfare will equalize things in both directions (they’ll replicate your shit, you don’t have the logistics chains required to keep it up to original spec and have to retrofit everything to local tech)

While I do like the smaller ways in which the changing ecology of the world was shown i wish soooooo bad that Saint had some sort of exclusive species that wasn’t a lizard variant. I’ve fiddled with designs for one myself but it feels like a great time to introduce some sort of encroaching mammal species as a suggestion that things have begun to spread from ‘outside’ their ranges rather than just straightforward adaptation & extinction. Like the fact that everything is still pretty close to its original form makes things feel... smaller than I intentional I think. Like it accidentally gives a sort of ‘bubble’ feeling to RW’s area rather than making it feel like a slice of a larger changing world when things change so massively but everything there is still kinda what was always there

I was doing some online window shopping on Crimbus Eve and noticed these cups I had been Yearning For from Rogue & Wolf had a really big discount on them so. I got myself a Crimbus Present and ordered two of them uwu

// speaking of. the 'tattoo' ( his mortal seal ) is dynamic. which means multiple things. if it gets too damaged and it cannot contain the demonic within, it'll force ignis to shift into his non-human forms. light damage can only force partial transformations ( i.e. limbs, horns ), something heavier will cause him to turn fully demonic, and managing to destroy it completely would bring out the hellhound ( which i don't recommend. he's massive ). he does this on his own, too, when he feels the need / desire to shapeshift. otherwise he possesses no direct control over his transformations for as long as he is bound by the seal's magic. he can self-mend smaller injuries, but if it's major he needs to go back to persephone ( the original weaver ) to have it fixed. she's never happy with this

she also takes care of keeping the binding magic powerful enough to 'contain' him. because infernals aren't allowed to walk upon earth, it's mandatory to ensure that it's a strong enough spell. point being, since ig is one of those kinds that gets stronger with age, persephone needs to make the ink bigger and more elaborate to contain the beast properly. way back when it covered only his shoulder. now it's spread to his chest and down the length of his left arm. for comparison, his father's, who is over 6000 years old, mortal seal covers his entire back.
