Danny and Damian are twins but they get separated at age 7, years later when they’re both 14 they both are going to high school and their schools decide to create a program where they wind up as pen pals to each other unknowing that they’re talking too each other as it’s been set up to be anonymous. Danny decides to take a leap of faith and encrypts a message about the media blackout around his town and how they’re overrun with ghosts and could use the Justice Leagues help through out all of his letters knowing that very few could actually understand it but he just felt so tired and this was the only way he could think to get any help for his town.

Damian just wonders who exactly his pen pal is to encrypt these letters like this.

good stuff anon, it really writes itself. proposal: what if you raised the stakes by making them championship rivals? red bull driver is the defending champion of course, known for ruthless driving, but lando is climbing up the ranks quick with a much-improved mclaren chassis. and the tension can arise from their determination to keep their relationship intact and healthy even through the events and conflicts of their championship battle, and not let resentment and competition get in the way. happy with that idea? i feel like it's the natural culmination of this completely fictional setup you've given me

Wyvern is still at the shelter. My betrothed didn’t want to know but I couldn’t resist checking on him. I look every day to see if he’s found his people yet and I get devastated every time I see his little bat ears at the bottom of the page looking hopeful.

I tried to make a Craigslist ad to talk him up but it got flagged and removed. I hate the idea of him in there, I just want him to have a nice home and love.

What game were you playing?

It's called The Roottrees are Dead.

You're a geneologist who is contacted after a devastating crash kills several members of this billionaire family called The Roottrees. A mysterious person gives you a huge list of names and asks you to complete a family tree, with a particular emphasis on blood relatives.

You have a basic 1998-era computer with a search engine, library access, and a periodicals database, and you have to figure out what to search and how to link clues to form a family tree.

This is an example of the notes I was keeping the first little bit of the game. You can see how webby it gets. You have to search anything mentioned- companies, books, movies, magazines, they all lead to more information. Hell, the co-stars in shows and movies lead to other connections on the family tree.

Also I made an entirely new name for my OC Satan cuz I can't find the one I had chosen for him initially and I was like: Okay, there HAS to be a reason why his nickname is Zoe. So I backtracked a bit and found out it's cuz I took Alerik's name, and flipped it. (Which is counting backwards with the letters. So starting by Z and counting which letter is the same number as L which turned out to be O). And like honestly... She kinda smart (referring to myself from months ago).

Kinda, cuz I think I only did that for the Zo part of the name and tried to look for an already existing name with Zo which was like, gurl why? So now I decided to continue on with that theme and got Zovira (changed the last letter cuz if I kept going there it'll turn to Zovirp and like... it'd be a lil too silly of a name for him, I can't--)
