Personally I have this head cannon that Kon adds rollerskates (yes, skates, not blades) to his costume. Specifically for the vibes.

And specifically the ones that pop out of the bottom of ur shoes like weelies.

They don't really matter for transportation either way because he largely Flys when he's in the suit but he wanted to impress Tim. (This can work whether you ship them or not)

Because he Flys so often. He barely uses them so people mostly forget about them, but every once in a while he'll use them - for a bit or, even more rarely because a mission somehow actually requires it and everybody's shocked because they fucking forgot his suit could do that.
