It began as whispering in the air, the day had been sunny and blissful but the darkness started to encroach and the dark clouds started blocking out the sun as lightning bolts pierced the skies.  A woman screamed out from the pains of labor with each thunderous roar echoed throughout the lands.  Perhaps it was a sign for the little one that her life would be filled with dark storms ahead of her.  At the peak of the storm Catalina Delgado gave birth to her daughter Xiomara Delgado.  Even after her birth and her mom held her in her arms, the woman felt nothing towards the little one because even as an infant she reminded her too much of her father who had left.

During her childhood, Xiomara watched as her mother struggled to make ends meet while men came through her life like a revolving door, not knowing how long each one will stay.  Everytime, one of these men would come into her life, it felt as if things were about to change.  They could afford the basic necessities and her mom would be completely enamored by the man, she would leave Xiomara alone and not nitpick at every little flaw she had.  Of course, it didn’t last long, Catalina was toxic and got suspicious of any kind of behavior of the man accusing him of cheating or planning on leaving up until the point they did.  Xiomara watched as every relationship her mother got into failed, time and time again to the point her mother started taking pills to escape her reality and that’s when she attracted the worst kind of men who used, drank and often abused her mother.

By the time she was fifteen, Xiomara did everything in her power not to go home, often staying with friends as much as she could.  Everyone in town knew the situation, but no one acted upon it.  It was when she was fifteen that she met Jared who introduced her to the world of drugs to escape her problems.  At some point, she could hardly remember she was attacked by a werewolf one evening while walking home.  Xiomara thought nothing of it at first, until she was forced to shift during the full moon.  Eventually it consumed her, where she would be skipping school and finally she ended up pregnant at seventeen by another teen named Peter.  

The moment the stick turned pink, she instantly knew her life was not hers anymore but the baby growing inside her.  From that day forward, she stopped that life and got a job at the local diner and Peter also vowed to end that life and got a job as well.  It was a struggle, two high school dropouts trying to make it in this cruel world.  The first couple of years were difficult, with constant bickering at each other and their child in the midst of it.  Eventually Peter left her and the child, reminding her of her own father, who walked out on her mother when she was pregnant…or at least that was what Catalina had always told her.

Like mother, like daughter Xiomara fell through the same generational curse of her mom going through man after man, thinking that was the answer to her problems.  Up until one night her current boyfriend laid his hand on her and threatened her child.  Now at twenty-three she had nowhere to go and ended up in Greywood, a place she only heard whispers of from other werewolves.  Little does she know, the one who sent her mom into a downward spiral is amongst the citizens.

Since coming to greywood, Xiomara has been able to track things such as people or other objects mentally if she has something to go off.  It mainly works when she loses her keys or her son loses a toy.

Born to a wolf mother and witch father, Carina inherited the wolf gene and being born a Ferreira meant ties to The Syndicate were practically imminent. For a number of years, Carina tried her best to avoid the organization and gave a good go at veering into a different direction. However, it never sat right with her that her sisters became a part of The Syndicate and she never did. It felt like she was betraying them. While she studied to become a pilot, Carina began working with The Syndicate and eventually was trusted as a Head of Transport. Her area of expertise is the skies, so in some ways, her dreams have remained true even if they look different.

Despite her reservations about the organization and the dangers they often face, Carina is a steadfast soul and remains loyal. Mostly for the sake of her sisters, whom she'd do anything for. While she continues to work as a pilot, her career is much different than she envisaged it to be, as now she's plotting out routes and air traffic for the sake of shipments and trade.

Make no mistake of Carina's level-headed approach to life, her impulsive and demanding nature is never far away. She will get things done, usually her way and it will be done with precision where not a detail has been missed.
