Personally, I like the idea of S n P just living in Deltsrune, maybee Grandpa Semi still existing but probably not living with them, parents not really mattering, then oh no Deltarune things happen, and now they’re in Undertale.

and its just this… secret family drama that no one has, or will talk about. just “you know what you did.”

Like Papyrus is the most forgiving dude on the planet and Sans is the most chill guy in the world, but they just H A T E these guys 😭😭😭

enough about the skeletons we know and love tho, WHAT ABOUT THESE SILLY FELLAS THAT I WILL ABSOLUTELY MAKE MORE OF BECAUSE OF HOW MUCH EUPHORIA THIS GIVES ME-

Impact: Oldest cousin, older than sans, tries not to talk too loud but slips up sometimes, so goes inbetween Upper and Lower case. Bodybuilder, helps out his dad at their family restaurant

Kefa: Middle cousin, older than Papyrus, very chill but still pretty spontaneous. Her font is Kefa but shes REALLY into graffiti fonts and general alternative stuff. Does a lot of the art for her families restaurant

Courier: classic disapproving father in-law, but works as a busboy at his son in-laws restaurant. talks in lowercase permanently. thinks changing fonts is dumb and unnecessary. does not approve of his granddaughters love of “graffiti” but still loves her

Roman: complete opposite of her father, speaks in uppercase, very enthusiastically helps out at her husband’s restaurant by way of taking care of all the plants cause its a plant themed restaurant. Would get along with Toriel, she loves snails

Savoye: incredibly passionate and only chef at his very famous restaurant in New Home. Loves his kids to bits, all that jazz

They all hate Sans and Papyrus as much as they hate them

O yeah did you know Papyrus was going to be called Roman/Times New Roman?? we dont… we dont talk about his beta design.

2. Pranks

(Kris does this all the time, Chara's only known prank is not doing their creepy face when the camera is on but Az's "quit tricking me" makes me think they do this a lot, and Asriel sure jokes about disturbing things but the only thing I'd call a prank is the "did you think this was over? ...I mean, we haven't even done the special thanks yet" which is in no way a canon interaction but I think it proves it's the kinda thing he'd do nonetheless)

3. A sick sense of humour

("If you laid here you might never get up", "completely indistinguishable from the dust of your friends", and some of Kris's pranks tend towards the morbid (especially the ketchup blood))

(seems to) Love their sibling more than anything

(the seems to is, of course, for Chara. They did get him a best friends forever locket but who knows if they actually meant it? The most concrete evidence we have for Chara's affection for Asriel is how personally they seem to take his "betrayal" and that's just depressing)

This is PAPYRUS....later to be known as PAPYRUS SENIOR, alias RUSS. His personality is pretty on display in the page given. Since he's based off Dedan from OFF for the face, maybe he has a rude, irritating streak too?

This is Russ' husband, TIMES NEW ROMAN. They bonded over their mutual obsession of My Little Boney, their fedoras fell in love, and they tied the knot. They still argue over whether Twilight Sparkill should've ascended to immortally rotten lichdom or not though. Anyway, Roman himself was raised by a newspaper.....

Said newspaper is none other than GRANDPA SERIF, a once-powerful publisher of few spoken words himself who may or may not also be involved with mob activities.

Russ and Roman have babybones in whatever way monsters do, and their fonts are found out to be comic sans and PAPYRUS( JUNIOR ). Papyrus kind of hates the junior part though so he usually drops it.

There is a third brother, the oldest of the three and the oddball font in the family, because he was adopted after being found lost in the Human-Monster war( Wait up I just realised it was like Centuries ago. Maybe Gaster kind of just took up the role of older bro later on to fit in more cuz it felt right??? IDK man, monsters weird) . His speech is usually fast-paced, scattered, and punctuated with a great-many hand motions( Papyrus picks these up later to dramatic heights). He is also of a scientific temperament, even working with Sans later on. His soon-to-be forgotten name...is WINGDING GASTER.

Anyway, Sans and Papyrus live away from their family now but they see them over reunions. They also re-meet a few more members...they don't really know how exactly they're related to them but they show up anyway.....

The sprites are near-identical except for minor variations such as height and teeth size et cetera. Their basic design is similar to Papyrus' overworld sprite but with more gaping black eyes, a tattered scarf that flares out like a popped collar. Overall a more serious look. End ID]

These cool looking skeletons form a IDENTICAL QUINTUPLET QUINTET BAND. Name pending if anyone has any suggestions pls drop

Most of these persons, collectively known as PAPYRII, are skeletons of a much older age from when monsters and humans lived in harmony. Many of them also fought in the War or were involved somehow. Now they harbor a host of old injuries, and a somewhat generally different countenance to the newer-born generation. They're kinda wary of Sans:

However firstpapyrus is usually a much chiller sort than the Papyrii. He is rumored to be one of the first skeletons ever created. He refuses to wear clothes because he claims their natural state is to exist nudely, slurp spaghetti, and make art. Don't be fooled though he's Seen Some Shit.

Different Frisks with different names

Basically the way i differentiate between which Frisk belongs to which timeline is to add a different surname to each.

So as you may already know my post pacifist Frisk is named Frisk the Skeleton because I said before I headcanon them to live with the skelebros and the idea of their surname being "the skeleton" despite the fact that they're very obviously not a skeleton was very funny to me. (This also gave me the idea that almost all the Undertale families just have basic descriptors of species and roles as surnames)

In the Deltarune timeline (with college Frisk), Frisk actually manages to get back in contact with their birth family again (around the same time our Undertale Frisk fell down) and thus their full name is Frisk Friesen, child of Lisa and Rene Friesen. (alliteration for the win!)

And for the murder run, their name ends up being ...Frisk Dreemurr. Not by adoption (Toriel and Asgore are dead now) but because two codepedent idiot children decided to "get married" at 11 and 13, despite a) everyone who could actually make this official again being dead and b) they are still children. It was more of a promise to protect and stay by each other's side for eternity but they did find and make each other rings and yes...decide that Frisk would be a Dreemurr. What would a kinda toxic gay bestfriendship be without concerning promises of absolute devotion. "We'll be together forever, won't we?" and it wouldn't be the only time that a bad route in utdr featured a sort of "marriage"... and then Frisk voices second thoughts about this whole destroying the world thing and Chara is furious at their partner's betrayal...and it turns out that maybe, these kids idea of eternity was never built to last. (Also since here Frisk is also a Dreemurr and has murdered people (duh), It means the dreemurr curse is alive and well)
