3024. Mundane, Meaningful, Macabre

This is "Mundane, Meaningful, Macabre." Undress to your fears.

Each of us can now see our ends. But that doesn't stop us from our chosen paths.

For me, it's a masked intruder breaking down the door to the bedroom. The sharp, clean slice into my chest of the knife. I can feel that phantom slice for days afterward. As if I were a slice of cake.

When will these bad things happen? is the question. The stalking dread of our non-existence creeps ever closer. And yet we continue to occultishly, macabrely celebrate.

It was just my birthday a couple weeks ago. I dabbled in frivolity. I blew out the bleeding candles. I dreamt empty.

The next day I went to work again. I went about the day in the usual mundane and meaningful ways.

When the evening came, I got into a car and it drove me into the dark.

thoroughly enjoyed season 27 halloween of horror, it was rlly fun to see the simpsons actually at halloween separate from the usual treehouse, the homer and lisa dynamic was very sweet and well done, i rlly like how the episode depicts lisa actually like a young child who gets easily scared and clings to a ratty old plush for security and comfort, its always an interesting side of her character to see when they actually write her as an eight year old, uhrm yep good work carolyn omine 👍
