Had yet another game idea that I lack the know-how to create the other day
(And by idea, I mean blatantly ripping off and mashing together every racing media I've ever loved, but yanno)
Uninhabited water planet, with an early human colony. Surveyed from orbit, but largely unexplored in depth. And someone's decided to host a legally-dubious race in an uncharted archipelago a little ways past the edge of settled territory.
There are no formal roads, just the waterways between the islands, and some truly crazy geography that can sorta work as a track if you're insane enough. A start point and a finish line for each race, but what happens in the middle is up to the racers.
To traverse this untamed wilderness, they pilot transforming vehicles that can shift between watercraft and hovercraft on the fly as needed. Oh, and they're all equipped with powerful, highly experimental energy weapons technology that has no place being in civilian hands.
(Something a bit shady about this whole affair, if you can look past the spectacle. Who's running this race, and why?)
Also for no particular reason other than I said so, the racers are all ladies, and their intense rivalries are only surpassed by the homoerotic overtones to their interactions. Once again, whatever happens in the middle is up to the racers, if you catch my drift.

I’m so excited I’m like literally shaking
#so I work at like seasonal job multiple stores and shit some more far out and in the boonies than others#and like before I was at my current job I managed this shitshow camp store#literally was so horrible but only bcs my boss sucked and pushed all his responsibilities to me while I still had to do MY JOB#like darkest time of my life trying to keep that store from falling apart until eventually I was like fuck this#transferee to a different property in a different state and like stalked this lady who would come help us and she hired me as her assistant#like truly amazing I love her so much my boss is the fucking best#but now at my property we have a camp store with no manager being run to the ground#so they asked me to go manage it…#and lLIKEEEE ITS IN THE HIGH CIUNTRY#SOOO NO SERVICE LIVING IN A TENT SHARED SHOWER DORMS#IM SO EXCITEDDD#and also I’ll be at 9k feet elevation SO ILL SEE STARSS!#im at 5thoussnd feet rn and it’s just not the same#my shitty store was at 7 thousand but the year before I lived at 8 thousand feet and the stars are so magical#but everyone else I work with feels bad I ‘have to’ go up there and run the store for a few weeks#I’m like literally MY PLEASURE#working in a camp store is literally summer camp vibes#and I’m such a retail girl boss they didn’t even brief me they were like you know how to open and close a store#AND I DONT HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF INVOICESSS#that was my nightmare at the last place like they taught all the managers how to recieve and pay invoices but no one else really understood#sooo like a day before months end when invocies HAVE to be paid I’d get stacks from every store on property#and like just my store was already a lot to go through bcs we did groceries and gas and beer and retail merch#but lol I came to my current place and they have a whole office just for that lotta sweet lady’s in accounting I’m like damn??#they did me so dirty????#best part about being a warehouse girl with previous retail management experience is thissss#pray for me though I haven’t managed other humans in 2 years and they’re union employees so I just have to follow all the rules#love the union but I’m scared of breaking any labor laws since I’ve never managed humans in the state in living in#last state was horrible there was no lunch break laws

#i have just realized i dont trust any tumblr blogs that are popular like obviously over 15k followers level popular bc#it almost always means they got their followers like pre 2014 when tumblr was kinda cool and full of people and#most of them have not updated their vibes since those days much at all and#anytime i see them posting its just like a reminder of all the shit i dont miss about early tumblr hahaha#like i specifically remember around 2010 when i would creep these incredibly mean and dramatic people with probably tens of thousands#followers and it was so lame and they were always toxic af anyways!!#this is to say that tumblr is actually way more enjoyable to me now that its quieter and getting that many followers is nearly impossible#and i love that its not really a bunch of 'tumblr famous' asshats and mostly just anonymous folks posting on their lil blogs#that is the aspect of current tumblr that truly feels like a remnant of vintage internet experience to me rn#at least in the dn fandom where i mostly hang out#like before influencers existed and everyone was just chillin#p

So, instead of writing or doing anything else remotely productive, tonight I elected to make some banners for the Vibes WIP.
(Honestly, they're really too big to be banners and too small to be, like, covers, so it's genuinely me just fucking around in order to feel productive. But hey! It's my blog so i'll cry if i want to I do what I want. :D)
So, behold! (With some additional comments, because why the hell not?)
First! Ignoring tumblr killing the quality, I like this because it's not particularly location-specific, but it still encompasses the city-feel with the railways.
Second! I think I like this one more, but the location is obvious (to anyone who lives where I do), with the added disadvantage that if you don't live where I do, the reference to the railways is not immediately obvious. 🤔 So, realistically, the first one is the better of the two, but I still like the vibe of this one a lot.
If you have an opinion, feel free to let me know! ^_^ Dunno if I'll actually use either of these, but it's killed an hour or so this arvo which is of course the main thing lmaooo

Man can you imagine if one of the April Fools events they do with project sekai and have it tie in with persona
Like have the default vocaloids be Velvet Room residents and the rest of the characters are persona users but the personas are their sekai versions of the vocaloids. The leaders are the wild cards so they get three and then the other members get one each (usually the one that debuted in that character's event) and then go from there
