After enjoying Never Stop Blowing Up so much and for so long, my rewatch of A Crown Of Candy has struck me dead on the spot. I walked into this rewatch with so much excitement and passion, I am midrewatch with a stomach full of anxiety and fear. I had forgotten how much Brennan can be the actual bad guy. I'd forgotten how tense trying to do the right thing can feel. How insane it can be. Brennan made so much lore and energy so clear in his worldbuilding, and it all shines through no matter how dark it gets. Even when you're crying and pissed and furious at how things are going, its all so clear. And by episode 9, you know how things are layed out, and you understand it until its all torn away again. And truely truely truely I love it. I love it to death. I'm going to die watching The Ravening War, but I love it. And I'm here for it, no matter how badly it goes.

If there's one thing about Emily Axford, is that her characters are GOING to be friends with Murph's characters (if he's there). They are ALL going to be relatable and complex depictions of woman/girlhood and they are GOING to be friends with Murph (Threat). It's the Gunner channel, it's Fig taking extra study for Riz, it's Lady Saccharina only really having an ally in Sir Theobald, it's Ylfa and Gerard not being quite Human, it's Sophia and kugrash hustling with hairy baby, it's even Sofia chastising Cody for being a shithead. She has great chemistry with everyone tbh but I'm always touched by how she seeks Murph out and builds their characters together. I love them your honour.
