Best friends/bandmates who can pick up on when one of them isn’t feeling well.
Noticing the slight lag in a guitar riff or the drummer suddenly out of breath from short sets. The slight rasp and strain in the singers voice as they try to hit certain notes.
When they’re ultra helpful and will warn the fans ahead of time that the one member is in a foul mood because of it or won’t be present because they’re ill.
Simultaneously urging them back to bed because they care while also joking not to get the rest of them sick (despite the close quartered tour bus conditions). Setting them up in a sick bunk or designated corner of the bus.
Bonus: maybe if the singer has a sneezing fit during practice or sound check, the drummer will joke around and put a beat behind it to be stupid.

HOT TAKE: Tim Drake should always be annoyed when he's sick, bc he has a really good immune system and is used to taking care of himself with it. He doesn't get sick often
This all to the end that, once his spleen is gone, he gets sick constantly, and it's a new source of stress and frustration for him

Simon had him and you all convinced that it was just sex and nothing more.
“No attachment.” He always said, everytime — sometimes so hurried and forgotten that it's just mumbled against your mouth before he's shoving his tongue down your throat.
Sometimes with so much urgency that it's lost between your moans, no attachment, babe, no attachment. And you believed him because it was really just sex, wasn't it ? There were no pretty dates and no fancy dinner at ritz, maybe those poorly wrapped ones he pretended he had not ordered and takeouts he brought along...but oh please, no attachments!
But maybe sometimes about those walks in the city where he would not so subtly grasp your hand, and you would catch him stealing glances at you while a teenager fiddled with his guitar, rhyming she came, my world lit with narcotic, I am addict.
No attachment but Simon's standing outside your workspace when it's raining —“I thought you might need it.” holding up the umbrella but those two words were there again when you were knee deep in the passanger seat and he was eating you out... because it was casual, right ? No attachment.
And it really didn't burn and ached until you got sick, real sick — puking your guts out and coughing until your ribs gave up, surely he wasn't the best role model of no attachment when he was panting to death as he picked your unconscious frame from the floor, you still remember the faint whisper of his ‘please don't leave me, please, please don't —’ over and over.
And if he wanted for no attachment then he should be gone. Gone and not come back because it was just sex...
Simon shouldn't be mopping the floor, and stirring your soup and touching your forehead every five minutes.
No attachment then why he's loading your grocery and taking out trash and doing your laundry, why he's wiping your tears and telling you it's going to be alright.
Why he's not leaving like he always did because there were no attachment right, but he's right here, tucking you in bed and washing your hair and reading you book.
“Is it some eccentric joke ? Why this Zaid is always growling ?—also when you get alright... we're gonna try it out, lovie.”
You blushed, but it wasn't just what he was suggesting but that word, it felt good.
“S-say it again.” You whispered, shifting your head in pillow. Simon turned back a page he was reading from, your scrunchie on his wrist.
“Zaid growled—” You screwed your face,“—oh, we'll try it—”
“last word. Your last word.”
“Oh.” He said, “Lovie...you don't like it ?”
You shaked your head, sniffing very unsexy-ly
“Call me that...I love it.” Simon pushed up the book up his face, his neck was pulsing with his many veins and you knew the blush that would be blooming on his hard face. Cute.
“Again.” You tilted your head, to get a look at his flushed out face.
“Okay Lovie...sleep now.” He grumbled, flicking your bedside lamp off and bookmarking the book with one of your scrunchie he removed from his wrist.
“Huh...Good night baby.” You said, waiting to be corrected, waiting for those two words to come and upside down it all.
But they never came, like they never even existed, never had a meaning to them at all.
No attachment, lost forever in darkness.
“G'night lovie.” He said so sweetly, and when you closed your eyes this time, you only saw daylight.
Grim Reaper! Simon

Obsessed with sick cuddles. I love it when people have a bad cold and just long for affection and warmth. I love it when someone is sniffly and tired and feverish and cold, their body begging to be held and comforted. I love it when they lean into the touch of their caregiver/significant other with such pleading affection, they just need to be held. I love it when said caregiver holds them close and lets them rest their feverish head on their chest, whispering sweet nothings into their ear, because the poor thing just doesn’t feel good.

Sickfic + kidnapping whump
a whumpee that's sick before getting kidnapped
OR they come down with something during their captivity
either way we get ourselves a Carewhumper or Whumper-turned-Caretaker situation
imagine a whumpee with a cold who can't sneeze or cough through the gag and starts hyperventilating
or a whumpee with the flu or a stomach bug who's vomiting everywhere
just making whumper's job so much harder because on top of having a captive they now have to make sure the whumpee doesn't die or spread the illness to them or their henchmen before the ransom is paid/they're rescued/etc
feel free to add on!

I think the reason sick whump hold such a special place in my heart is that, relatively speaking, you don't see it that often in canon media? Like, characters being injured in books/films/tv is pretty standard I'd say. Maybe not to the detailed whumpy levels we'd all like it to be, but if I think about it pretty much every character I've viewed as a potential whumpee has actually suffered some form of injury or another (often more than once) within their respective media.
But illness? You just don't see it as often. And I'm not sure why - but I'd guess probably because it tends to leave characters in a stagnant state; an injury can be attained while Actively Doing Something Plot Relevant, so even if the aftercare is shown offscreen [ugh], the actual Getting Hurt part can be part of the plot - whereas sickness holds focus on a character within that state of infirmity, and most mainstream audiences would probably see it as uninteresting to watch or read.
So when it comes to imagining my faves being hurt, well, it's still great but I likely have already seen them hurt within whatever media they're a part of. But imagining them being sick...now that requires some more imagination on my part. There's a ~mystique~ to it. It feels like a more personal show of the character's vulnerability because it likely hasn't actually been shown before, so it's like a little secret that I get to figure out on my own.

Out of the Lin Kuei brothers, Tomas is the only one who gets sick.
Bacteria and viruses that cause sickness can often be killed through extreme temperatures.
When they start to get sick, Bi-han can lower his body temperature to freeze the sickness out of himself and Kuai Liang can raise his temperature to burn the sickness out.
But Tomas can't do either of these things. He has to go through regular illness like the rest of us.
When they were younger, Bi-han and Kuai Liang couldn't understand why Tomas got sick so much. They thought he was weak and that a common cold would eventually kill him.
It wasn't until it was explained to them that not everyone can control their body temperatures like the people in their family can, do the boys understand getting sick is very normal and Tomas isn't weak because of it.
From then on, the brothers help Tomas whenever he gets sick. When he gets feverish and hot, Bi-han helps cool him down, and when he gets shivery and cold, Kuai Liang is there to wrap him up in a warm toasty hug. They keep doing this, even when they have all grown up into adults.

I have another scenario to share!
You're on a date with an attractive man. Let's say you're at a pub. He is really handsome and charming and is really trying to make the date fun for you. The issue is... he is clearly coming down with a cold. And the thing is... it came on really suddenly, over the course of the evening! Otherwise he would have rainchecked, but no, he woke up feeling fine, but now his nose is drippy and he can't stop sneezing.
And, like, he's trying desperately not to make it awkward and not make a big deal out of it. The first three times he sneezes... he doesn't say anything about it, just kind of tries to keep the conversation going. When you bless him shyly, he goes "Ah, don't mind me. Anyway, you were saying, about your job...?"
As it continues, he kind of has to address it, though, so he sheepishly says "I'm so sorry, I might be coming down with something/I think I've caught a cold", trying to laugh it off.
And, like, just that mix. 🥰 Of him feeling progressively worse, having to procure a napkin or something eventually to wipe and blow his nose with... trying to fight off the sneezes but failing, slowly edging from mildly embarrassed to mortified. He thinks you're really cute, too, so the timing is really just the worst.
And, like, just picture the details!
You're perceptive, so you can spot his build-up face. The tiny hitch, the small frown, fluttering eyelids... This happens a few times. He always keeps the conversation going, all casual, but you can tell he's fighting the sneeze so hard. And yet again and again, he succumbs to it. And maybe when he starts sneezing he, like, motions for you to keep talking? Or he talks around his sneezes? "Don't... hh!... sorry, don't mind... hehh!... me. Keep go- hhh'IKSHH!"
Maybe when the date ends, you both address it sort of shyly. "Maybe you can... drink some tea when you get home", you say, blushing.
"Haha, yeah I better. Gosh, I'm so sorry about... this", as he vaguely gestures to his face, nose now distinctly pink.
You agree to go on a second date but maybe... when he's feeling better.
