I think people need to understand that when someone says the situation in Israel/Palestine is complicated they are not necessarily saying that the discussion of who the oppressor vs oppressed is complicated. The Israeli government has been oppressing the Palestinians for a very long time, that is clear, and it is not complicated to understand that at least since the 80s they have had dramatically more financial and military power to keep control of the territory in the way they like.

However, it is reductive and dismissive to insist that there is no complexity in the potential ways to move forward to bring peace to the region. Despite what people on tumblr.edu like to believe, "Israel should never have been created" is not a practical solution to an incredibly heated geopolitical situation in the present day. Israel was created and it does exist. 10 million people live there. 74% of the population is native born and the country has existed for 75 years. Hand waving these fact away with the opinion that "they should move back to where they came from" may make you feel good about being a Radical Leftist, but it does not give anyone a road map for how exactly millions of people without dual citizenship are supposed to just up and evaporate. Nor does it acknowledge the reality that 21% of Israelis are Arabs, the very people you are claiming to want to give the land back to.

Insisting that there's nothing complicated about expecting an entire country's population to willingly dissappear with no consequences is not a productive way to think about this conflict. It ignores the many massive superpowers that have an interest in proping up different states in the region, the power dynamics involved in any land back movements, and the inevitably negative consequences of totally dissolving an established state without a plan. It is also completely and almost comically unrealistic, so much so that it makes it hard to believe that anyone who's opinion starts and ends with this idea really gives a shit about anyone who lives in the area as much as they care about their online leftist clout.

There's nothing complicated in understanding that the Israeli government is and has been maintaining an oppressive apartheid state for decades. It is, however, very complicated to come up with a realistic way to resolve some of the most intricately entangled land disputes on the planet without plunging the region into total chaos. Not everyone has to be deeply educated on every geopolitical situation, but it is very hard to take people seriously when they know nothing about the politics or history of a region and yet insist that there is nothing complicated about it at all.

There's a lot of people on this website who are getting dangerously smug about their own ignorance, and are starting to go down Qanon type anti-intellectual paths in the name of being sufficiently radical. Not knowing the details of a very convoluted land dispute isn't something to brag about online as you call for intentionally reductive solutions. You can support the Palestinian cause and be aware of the oppression they have faced while also holding off on calling people trying to do real analysis and de-escalation work bootlickers. We need to get control of the urge to fit every global issue into a simplistic YA novel narrative structure that appeals to Western revolutionary fantasies.

sorry to bother you and please delete this if it's too obnoxious but can you explain what was going on in that last post with the "smol bean hitler" thing I have cognitive issues and definitely want to block at least one of the people involved but I don't really understand what's being said?

Okay I don't blame you for not understanding it because there's a lot of context there. I will do my best to give a rundown of the situation and explain everything to the best of my ability, but my account of the events might be incompelte because I really didn't witness everything.

A little over a week ago, tumblr user siwolism made a post about how she watches a lot of videos about korean fried chicken, and she had noticed a trend in the comments of these videos: a lot of those videos had comments from americans (mainly black americans) bragging about how the only reason why koreans have fried chicken is because african-american soldiers took the recipe to korea during the korean war. She said that as a korean she found these comments uncomfortable because for korean people the korean war was an extremely bloody conflict and korea hasn't still fully recovering from its effects, and americans displaying such pride about any of the things they did during the korean war is an appalling display of american chauvinism. And that the fact that black americans were displaying the same chauvinistic mindset that she would have expected from whtie americans showed that being black or any racial minority in america doesn't exempt anyone from the privileges of american imperialism or the chauvinism of defending it.

At some point I got involved by making a comment on the post, about how I found it silly that people were insulting op and tagging the post as "#tw antiblackness" when all she did was complain that it's downright evil for americans, regardless of race, to joke about the time the USA invaded korea so violently that 1 out of every 10 koreans got killed.

(I still stand by that, considering that the post didn't complain about black ppl in america in general, only about the ones that she saw acting in a specific chauvinistic way, and despite how much people have accused her since of "singling out" black americans as the main beneficiaries or defenders of american imperialism, the post went out of its way to make it clear that this was just a manifestation of a wider problem that applies to all americans regardless of race)

I also made another addition to the post about how i think many of the people making those comments were probably motivated by the way so many african-american inventions in the US have their roots erased once they become popular with non-black people, but that in my opinion they were failing to understand that, despite how superficially similar they may look, "a black american telling a white american that they should be thankful because black people invented jazz and rock" is a fundamentally different situation from "a black american telling a korean that they should be thankful because black people brought fried chicken to them during the war", because the power dynamics between these two countries and the history of the korean war fundamentally changes the situation.

These additions in particular picked up a lot of steam, which somewhat accelerated the post in question breaking containment.

Siwolism was accused of being antiblack for using the term "amerikkka" in her post. Your mileage may vary on that one, but regardless of your opinion I don't think it invalidates any of the things she said in the post.

She was accused of erasing the racism and oppression that black people face in the USA. She repeatedly clarified that she (like any serious anti-imperialist) recognizes that racial minorities in the imperial core face racism and oppression, but that their oppression in that axis doesn't erase the fact that living in the imperial core puts them in a position of privilege over people in the imperial periphery.

She was also accused of erasing anti-black racism in korea (which is a complete non-sequitur tbh, unless you're interpreting her post as "all black people oppress all korean people" and not "black people in america have the capacity to act in imperialistic ways toward people in other countries"). She clarified that she thinks racial discrimination in south korea is a serious issue, that she faces a great deal of it as a north korean immigrant of hui chinese descent, but that she obviously doesn't have it as bad as the discrimination black people face in korea. However, she said the situation of a black person from korea and a black person from america is not the same with relation to imperialism, and when a black soldier is stationed in one of the numerous american military bases in korea they don't face the same struggles as a korean black person because they're acting as part of an imperialist occupying force.

As the post broke containment, she faced increasing levels of harassment. She started getting anons calling her anti-asian slurs, particularly someone who called her an "antiblack gook bitch", "gook" being a slur extensively used by american soldiers to refer to koreans during the korean war.

(that might have been the same person who left me an anon calling me a "fucking antiblack beaner" in response to my additions to silowism's post but who knows)

She also had multiple anons telling her that they hoped she and all her friends got killed by the next american soldier they encountered, which is especially vile considering that american soliders stationed in military bases in south korea have a history of killing and commiting sexual violence against korean women and facing no consequences for it, to the point that the US government coerced the South Korean government into signing a treaty that prevents any US soldiers caught comitting such acts from being tried in a South Korean court.

This is a meme that has been used numerous times on this website to make fun fo the way how a post gets misinterpreted in increasingly ridiculous ways as it gets further away from your mutual circle. I think it's clear that none of the categories on the right are targeted specifically at black people, but instead at the people running with the worst possible interpretation of anything she said in her post (a lot of whom weren't even black americans, I think it's important to acknowledge that a lot of them were white americans who were pissed of that imperialism were being called out and decided to amplify the accusations of racism because it was a progressive-sounding way to shut down discussions of american imperialism). Still, a lot of people ran with the worst faith interpreation of it and started talking about how she "literally said all black people are illiterate chimpanzees"

She also, at some point, after days of continued harrassment, told one of the people harassing her to hang themselves. Again, people ran with the worst possible interpreation of it to talk about how "she's literally sending lynching theats to black people"

Eventually the harassment was so much that she deleted her blog.

Almost two weeks later people keep playing telephone with increasingly outlandish misinterpretations of the things she said, resulting in the tags you saw screenshotted on the post you're referring to, where someone accused her of "implying black people invented imperialism"

so yeah like I'm not going to tell you who to block or even to block anyone at all, but that's my attempt at catching you up to speed on what's going on in that post.

So, the Luigi Mangione situation has been consuming my thoughts for days. Honestly, I’m surprised to see even those who typically consume right-wing media starting to connect the dots.

Kyle Rittenhouse was hailed as an “American patriot” and a “hero” by right-wing media like Fox and co, not because they’re anti-establishment but because they blindly support the establishment. After his acquittal, conservative media framed his actions as self-defence, the ultimate embodiment of “law and order.” But let’s be honest—this wasn’t about justice or morality. It was about doubling down on a toxic gun culture, one that upholds violence as a virtue when it aligns with their politics.

Take Donald Trump, for example. He’s their golden boy, the so-called saviour of the working class, but what did he actually do for anyone struggling to make ends meet? He gave billionaires a massive tax break, slashing corporate rates to 21% and leaving crumbs for everyone else. Universal healthcare? Forget it. Trump spent years trying to dismantle the Affordable Care Act without even pretending to offer an alternative. And wages? They stagnated while he bragged about a booming economy. He couldn’t stop talking about low petrol prices—as if that fixes lives ruined by medical debt or the soaring cost of living. Meanwhile, his obsession with fracking wasn’t about energy independence; it was about making oil companies richer.

Trump’s entire existence is proof that capitalism rewards incompetence if you’re born into the right family. He’s failed at business after business, but the money and connections always find their way back to him, bringing power along for the ride.

And billionaires like Thompson—who faced criticism for policies that punished patients seeking emergency care—are perfectly comfortable profiting off that suffering. They sit in their towers, insulated from the consequences of the system they exploit, while working-class people are forced to choose between survival and dignity.

What billionaires should really fear is us realising we’ve been played. For decades, they’ve worked to convince us our biggest threats are each other—minorities, immigrants, anyone but them—when they’re the ones pulling the strings. Without our labour and endless, soul-crushing consumption, they’re nothing.

Do I feel bad for a billionaire who’s scared? Not in the slightest. They don’t know fear the way we do. They don’t have to worry about eviction notices or medical bills. They’ve convinced us their success is aspirational, but it’s all a con—a rigged game that keeps them on top no matter what.

I hope the Luigi Mangione case sparks a backlash they can’t ignore. I hope it forces people to confront how deeply this system has failed us. The media will try to spin it, of course. They’re already working to humanise people like Thompson, men who built their careers on denying claims and leaving sick people to fend for themselves. Meanwhile, these same journalists won’t write about kids being pushed into poverty or the way empathy disappears when a rapist gets elected to office. It’s so absurd it feels like a cruel joke—like we’re being manipulated for laughs as reason abandons our collective psyche.

People have turned this murder into a meme, and they’re being condemned for it. But billionaires, propped up by the likes of Murdoch, have relied on our desensitisation for decades to amass wealth and control political narratives. The internet makes that harder for them now, and they know it.

And people are tired. We misdirect our anger into the wrong places, often at each other, and can you blame us? What have protests actually accomplished lately? Millions marched for Palestine—one of the largest demonstrations in recent memory—but did it stop the US or UK from backing Netanyahu? Of course not.

So where do they think all this frustration is going to go? Because one day, it’s going to boil over—and no amount of money or media spin will protect them.

The thing is. I don't care for Yoko, or John after he ends up in that relationship. Simply put not a good couple for each other. That's clear. But I still can't believe everything I hear and read about Yoko is actually true. In fact it comes of as an evil Disney female viliain. Anyway lemme break this down into bullet points because I think that's what I do best on this website.

Yoko and John's relationship kind of sucked.

Yes. From what we know about them, they were both bad for each other. Her manipulation game was on like level 1000 and he was John so he could be really truly scary. The thing is, people generally tend to assume she is mainly at fault for the relationship being so toxic because we a) sort of take for granted what Cynthia did in sitting still and pretty through all of John's abuse and expect everyone in his life to do the same and b) idealize Paul and John's relationship and say 'well if John can be so sweet to this person anyone who he is abusive toward must on some level deserve it -- including Paul when John turns on him' so that Yoko kind of gets both the 'how dare she not be Cynthia' and 'how dare she not be Paul' treatment. But what people don't understand when they over-emphasize Yoko's horrible manipulation is that John had literally all the power in that relationship. Physically, momentarily, image-wise, theory friends, etc. So yes, what she did to control him through fear and isolation was inherently bad, but what he did to make her scared enough of him to feel the need to do that was also bad. AND. With all that said. They also seemed to genuinely love and care for each other and were capable of great genuine sweetness and romance and healthy dedication at the same time.

We shouldn't believe everything we read about Yoko.

Yoko is not a traditional woman in any sense, and part of that means not being a great mom.

I agree she's no Linda and the thing is -- that's okay. If every mom was a little more like Linda, we'd all probably be better off mental health wise but it's not a healthy expectation and men are not held to the same standard women are with parenting. Yoko literally just acted like most seventies dads, honestly. My husband's grandpas none of them know how to hold a baby to this day. I have photographic evidence because they wanted to hold their great-grandson to brag to their friends but they clearly didn't have any interest in holding their own children as is also testified by the grandmas lol. So yeah. I agree she wasn't great. But point a) neither was John. He was more present but Sean still had a whole staff looking after him and Sean also remembers, along with his sweet memories, John taking his anger out on him before he was five years old. And b) she was good enough that Sean absolutely adores her. And before people go "what about Paul loving Jim, hmmmmm?" Paul's love for Jim goes as far as to eulogize him as the man who played piano at family parties and said 'there's no hair on a seagull's chest.' Jim's death didn't even make it into many years from now. Sean on the other hand is putting as much work Mary and Stella are into their mother into setting up Yoko's legacy as an artist and woman for eternity. He doesn't have to be doing that. But every chance he gets, he plugs her, and you can see just how much he loves talking about her. Which is actually our of character for Sean's normal victim-complex, twitter-troll type vibe. So whether she made it up to him in later years or was just much better than people tell us, Yoko passed the test with her son, and that means something.

Yoko pushed the feminist envelope by having the courage to do what she wanted to do despite the patriarchal consequences.

What i would give for a Yoko Ono presidency! Why would you put that idea in my head? Now I have to live with it and the fact it can never be. But yes you are a thousand percent correct. Another evidence to me that she's still fighting an uphill battle with fans and her prescription is that I've been sure Paul is somehow neurodivergent for years -- almost as long as I've been a real fan -- and yet this is the first time the idea of Yoko's neurodivergence has occurred to me. She very well might be. It reminds me of how when I was little and instead of playing baseball at my T-ball games, I spent my time climbing the backstop, my parents put that down as "girl behavior" and I struggled through school and work and didn't get diagnosed with ADHD until I took myself to the doctor in college. Whereas when my little brother climbed the backstop it was "get this boy a therapist and some pills immediately!" I've been doing the exact same thing to poor Yoko! A lot of the behaviors I've noted as clear markers for Paul I've just thought were Yoko being Yoko but you have an excellent point, anon, thank you for bringing this to my attention!

So many of the talking points we still use are have down to us from old racists and sexists and it's much better if we, like you've said anon, weigh them carefully against the attitudes of their time. Me and @bitchyhorror have been discussing a genderbent AU and how much more tragic it would have been for Bo and Vincent Sinclair to be women in HoW. In fact, female conjoined twins have a drastically increased survival rate compared to males.

Beauregard 'Bo' / Beatrice 'Bea'

- The pretty sister, the 'normal' sister and yet the blacksheep. The bad seed. The Reject.

- Always wears her hair in a way to hide the scar. She never was the same after the surgery according to her folks...Was it that her brain was messed up? Was it anger at how she was treated?

- Trudy forced her in dresses and dainty doll-like clothes at a young age. Always a fight every morning with her tearing the bow out in overstimulated rage and then being hit for it.

- Never fit in, never made her parents proud, yet looked like she should have been the apple of their eye.

- Your twin sister is ugly and has to hide her face because of you attached to her and still a good girl; what's your excuse? She could've been the most beautiful perfect girl and destroyed that just by being born.

- Always damned for how 'unlady-like' she was. What a disgrace having a daughter with the Sinclair name be so ill mannered and such a lil bitch. And look at what you did to yourself! Marking your skin up by fighting those belts. You want everyone to see those and judge us!?

- Obviously cracked under pressure and couldn't take anymore by a certain age. Her first times with guys were escapes to numb the pain and it made it worse. She was the families biggest regret. She had fantasies that weren't right. SHE wasn't right.

- It was drill into her she was going to Hell just for liking women so what does how she likes them or killing people matter?

- She likes women at her mercy and unable to touch her. Unable to hurt her. Forced into being what will make her feel in control for once in her life

- She thinks she's a Sociopath/Anti Social but really she has severe CPTSD. It's why she is codependent on her sister yet resents her, why she never leaves, why she insist on making a town something her abusive mother wanted, why she can't have intimacy without reliving her past with her forced fetish. She is deeply disturbed and is reliving the trauma to be in control and make sense of it daily.

Vincent / Victoria

- Her Mama's favorite. Trudy's protégé. And yet...Trudy's secret. Trudy's guilt and remorse and hindrance. She couldn't brag about Victoria...Not with her limitations.

- Not being like other girls weighed on her heavily. She always watched those old movies and cried herself to sleep wishing she could be like them. Dainty, Pretty, Desired. She kept her hair long just to have that once of femininity and to hide her face.

- Relied on her Identical Twins pretty face, her normal face, as a mold for her masks and even if she loved her twin the resentment built over time

- Bea got to go out into the world. Bea could have anyone. Bea could do anything. Victoria's only talent was her wax sculpting making her mother proud stuck in Ambrose

- It wasn't fair! Victoria was the girly one, the talented one, the good one and yet because of her face she was the ugly forgotten one that hid. The face her twin got to have and took for granted.

- She has never been kissed or never held hands. Never had anyone love her. Truly love her. Want her in a way a woman should be wanted and loved. Both twins felt unlovable. One for her face, one for her personality.

- And every argument Bea brought up her face and every argument she could tell her ill tempered twin regretted it but the damage was done and it chipped at her heart.

- Ate away at what little sanity she had from such isolation and dehumanization. Mute, deformed, had parents that hurt yet loved her with their words and actions, blamed by her twin for Beatrice's mistreatment, never allowed to be normal.

- Victoria would caress her victims longingly. She viewed bodies like works of art but oh how she wished this strong male victim under her would want her. Yearn for her like she saw in movies. To gently trail her soft fingers from years of wax working over his paralyzed form. See the fear in his eyes and wish it was adoration. How cruel it was that God let her be born, she always thought.

- She applied makeup to her mask. Making herself pretty in the mirror as if that wax mask was her face. That's all she wanted was to be pretty to someone...Just one person look at her with adoration instead of fear, disgust or pity.

- Unlike her male counterpart in the original movie; her lack of beauty eats at her even more as a young Southern Belle. Us women and femme presenting are pressured to be beautiful even more than men/masc presenting and it eats at her daily that she isn't. Even more that it eats at Vincent in the movie.

- Shields her face crying and hiding like a traumatized animal whenever her mask is knocked off or damaged. No one can see her! Her mother gave her such kindness in drilling it into her to cover her disgusting face...

- Wax sculpts because it's all she knows. Always waxing women with envy and reverence at what she COULD be.

Some König Headcanons and Hottakes

So I want to preface this by saying no hate to anyone. These are just some opinions that I think some people might disagree with which is totally fine. This is also a little bit of me pointing out some of his flaws. I love him though.

He is not a shy little uwu boy who would have a panic attack if a cutie looked at him a certain way. If he was so prone to panic attacks and his anxiety was that crippling then he wouldn't have been in the special forces and he wouldn't be in a PMC - which are highly selective.

Personally I don't fully believe that he was a colonel. The only hint we have gotten of that is a one of the 'Bad Brothers' loading screens which just says 'Colonel König' with no more context. Colonels aren't really active on the battle field and it is very unlikely you would see one in action. Officers ranked that highly are seen as too valuable to be 'wasted' in infantry combat.

Continuing from my last point, even a lot of majors and Lt Colonels aren't battle prone. Considering he would have had to have passed through those ranks to become a colonel means that he would have spent a lot of time behind a desk and commanding teams such as platoons and battalions. We don't know enough about him to say that he isn't a good leader, after all he is simply an operator with a few paragraphs of text as a background. However, his voice lines and little text we do get about him tells us he is not one to enjoy standing by and having others fight on his command. He would MUCH rather be in the brawl.

And I know that Alejandro is a colonel and very active duty, however we can assume that this is largely due to his ambition and personal attachment to his home, which he wants to protect from the cartel. I'm not saying a colonel doesn't fight, but it is exceedingly rare.

My last anti-colonel theory point - why would a colonel wear such DIY gear? I just want to say if you hc him as a colonel that is absolutely FINE, those are just reasons as to why I don't :/

Moving on, I believe him to be a sore loser. For example, he was deemed unfit to be a sniper, and so he wears a sniper hood and has that voiceline "And they said I couldn't be a sniper". Dress for the job you want, not the job you have ig?

I believe he wants to prove people wrong. Getting rejected as a sniper wounded his ego so A LOT. I hc him to be between 32-37 and if he joined jagkdo/KSK (old bio said he was German and in the KSK, newer ones said Austrian and JagKdo, now there's no mention of sf so idk??) while he was younger, say around 23-26, he's had a lot of time for that wound to heal and yet it hasn't. This man holds hella grudges.

Because of this, I think that a fear of failure might also contribute to his anxiety. If he was asked about being scared to fail he'd smirk and say there was no way. But deep down in his core it eats away at him.

This might also bleed into his social life. He's fearful of relationships and remains single for a long time. He'd rather not ask you out instead of having you reject him for trying. He'd have to REALLY like somebody and also have some reassurance or signs that they liked him out.

Cannot accept accountability for simple mistakes. He knocked your coffee mug over? You shouldn't have left it there. Hit you a little too hard in training? You should be stronger. You should have dodged it. Not his fault you're not as good as him.

Is a show off. If he is obviously better at something then you'll never hear the end of it. Better driver? Better fighter. Yeah, he's bragging about it. Again, his fear of not being good enough rears its ugly head. He deflects it on to those who are weaker - they could never be him.

Damn this was a list of negatives, but I love him in spite of all of his flaws. What kind of list should I make next? I should probably do one with some positive traits lmao.

Anyway, I don't mind at all if anyone disagrees with these this is just how I see him. Maybe one day I'll write a fic where he acknowledges his demons and starts to heal.

I kinda understand “minors don’t interact” and similar things, but one thing I always laugh at is “don’t tag as [thing].” You know — the whole don’t tag posts with the word queer in them as q slur, don’t tag not-inherently-shippy art as ship, don’t tag character posts as kin, etc. First of all, what would you do if someone DOES tag it like that? Call the cops? Second of all, people are gonna tag things however they want, you’re gonna have to deal with that on a website like tumblr.

There’s a similar phenomenon on Twitter where people say “don’t quote retweet”/“don’t private quote retweet” (which is especially funny cuz everyone is gonna see that and go on their private accounts and quote retweet with nonsense to piss you off, lmao)

Like if you’re really SO FUCKING SCARED of your gay post being tagged as #q slur, your Death Note edit being tagged as #Lawlight, your fanart being tagged as #kin, you probably shouldn’t be on the internet. Do you have the right to not view queer as a slur, the right to not ship whatever, the right to not like fictionkin? Of course! But people also have the right to disagree with you and tag your post however the fuck they want. One time I saw someone tag one of my cosplays as [character] faceclaim, and I was a little bit weirded out, but overall it was harmless. I never once considered adding a banner saying not to tag my likeness as a faceclaim, because if I really want to prevent anyone from doing that, the solution will be for me to not show my face online.

Small tangent: When I was younger I used to have a private sideblog that was basically just a venting diary. No one had the password, and, because it was private, my URL wouldn’t show up in the notes if I reblogged something to that blog. Basically, no one knew the blog existed. And I remember sometimes I would see a cool post on my dash, or in tags, and it would be tagged as #dont reblog (this was before tumblr had the option to limit reblogs obviously). And if the post was cool (or edgy, because like I said… vent blog) and I was sad that I “couldn’t” reblog it, I’d reblog it to the side blog, where OP would never know 😭 Rebellious as hell wasn’t I?

That being said — and this might contradict everything I just wrote — I do think people that brag about not reading/not following DNIs are also a bit obnoxious. Not people who just make statements that they don’t read them, but people who make it known how much they hate their existence. It just seems kinda edgelord-y? Idk. Obviously it’s fine to not read them or like them but making it a huge statement is just like…ok? Congratulations? Should we throw you a party? Should we invite Elon Musk?

FURIOUS at the Misogynists and Lesbophobes in OM Fandom

A few recent confessions about Thirteen made me MATI so this is my rant.

Thirteen still does traps on MC, she is still a prankster and inventor, but she gets sidelined hella hard and is usually limited to one or two cameos with MC or a brief interaction with other characters. She's never going to be antagonistic to MC.

Girl is not their priority despite being a love interest. She gets shoved in the background or not sexualized even when male characters get a ton of stupid fanservice. I can only assume the artists and writers are walking on eggshells with her because of lesbophobes and misogynists or shallowly appealing to the "We're different! We don't sexualize women 😁"

She has feelings for MC the fastest because they get along and she's attracted to them. Their chemistry is explored quickly in Chats in OM, but I doubt most of you will reach those because of how late in the series the newbies appeared.

She asks them on dates and shows up "by coincidence" A LOT because she likes them and wants to spend time with ONLY THEM frequently. In events she only shows up for MC (or texts them) and then gets shoved out of the story entirely because OhHhHh she's sooooooo antisocial~ Despite initially being reluctant to game with MC, the bros and Mephisto she really enjoyed it and their company!

Thirteen likes MC's bedroom whereas Mephisto was unimpressed with MC's room and insulted it.

She didn't go googoo gaga for no reason about MC, MC's soul is beautiful and attracted her. She wants to have it "when you're done with it" instead of reaping it. How in the hell does that imply she doesn't want to let them go? JUST LIKE THE BROS AND SIDES.

ANOTHER THING. Thirteen doesn't like people dropping in at her house and doesn't invite them either. She invites MC in chats to see her and I wish that MC would visit her more.

THIRTEEN WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE SIDES AFFECTED BY MISSING MC. She loves them and misses them as well as let them close to her when already stated she's anti-social and aloof. She has a broken heart button on her RAD uniform that she sewed on herself along with the other heart buttons. It makes me wonder about her past and that she's opened herself up to MC and love even though her heart was/is broken.

And if MC isn't into things like cosmetics, shopping and other "girly" interests it's possibly to reject her/hanging out. She likes to treat them to coffee, desserts and shopping trips whereas multiple other characters use that as bribes or rewards or leeching off MC's wallet.

Mephistopheles has a low opinion of MC and Raphael is indifferent to them. Suddenly getting feelings in events makes no fucking sense.

Mephistopheles opens up to MC in the main story and contacted them to brag about his brother, but in his birthday call on year 2 he is suddenly into them and wants to get to know them???

Raphael isn't even friendly with MC in the story, the Raphael we met has been Michael in two out of three instances. He suddenly starts talking about "feeling something for MC" when he went up against Barbatos who was the hardest won Love Interest in the game.

Fuck off, seriously fuck off with the homophobia/misogyny. She is our love interest not yours and not a rival or antagonist.

Shipping Thirteen with any of the scrotes ROYALLY pisses me off because I HATE straight couples and M/F. I kept that to myself, for the most part, but if some of you are hating on shippers for shipping gay couples and exclusively want your scrotes to yourselves Thirteen fans can too. Stop shipping the one female option off in male relationships when it's literally just to get her away from your man. Making up a male MC or a political lesbian MC is BULLSHIT and looking for attention and asspats for being inclusive.

Po/rn is an inherently misogynistic and objectifying exploitation of women's bodies and sexuality and should not EVER be used to make sexy art of women in my opinion. In the latest update for the "Sophie is Dangerous" doc, the author has expanded their scope to targeting SAS, attacking SAS for... calling them out for their own actions?

Looking back in retrospect, it’s so crazy knowing that this stupid, one off thing has had such a profound effect on our life and where we are currently are now, including our standing with the pro-endo community, can essentially be traced back to us telling an anti-endo to suck our dick.

I know you've dubbed your actions as "#cockgate" to present it as this funny quirky thing... but like, your first post that started it was actually just wishing harm on anti-endos.

I don't even have much of a problem with this one, personally. It's just wishing the fruits of their labors, and what they have wished on others, onto them.

When you started talking about your 🐓, it was in the context of attacking people for having a disorder.

This was also one of the big things that convinced me to get involved in that situation.

Because you weren't just attacking sysmeds anymore. You were being openly ableist towards all CDD systems. Including pro-endo ones.

And when you did tell them to suck your 🐓, you did so by telling this group that consists largely of survivors of sexual assault that it's the only thing they were good for!

YOU DID! You intentionally hurt CSA victims with posts that could be considered sexual harassment! You bragged about not having dissociative symptoms, and told a group that consisted largely of CSA victims that they were only good for sucking 🐓!

Now Mod Dude is employing abuse tactics to threaten us into silence. While this is deeply upsetting to learn that Mod Dude is in fact abusive, it’s also making our trauma around the situation worse.

I’m not trying to be like uwu us Zutara shippers are so special so few of us saw the light etc etc, I’m honestly curious how you reached the conclusion that Zutara is the number one ship? Maybe you see a lot more fan art/fics because there isn’t as much of a point to do that with canon ships or maybe you’re hanging out in very specific corners of the internet, idk 🤷‍♀️. But it is not as popular as Kataang in most fan spaces, even less so with casual viewers.

1 - It's showing up in the tags because tumblr is freaking broken sometimes and can't tell that "zutara" and "anti zutara" are tags for REALLY different kinds of content. Nothing I can do it about it, just block the anti zutara tag and it should solve the problem.

2 - I reached that conclusion because it's literally been true for 20 years already, something zutarians constantly brag about and try to use as a "win." Kataang was never truly HATED, and it has grown in popularity over the years, but zutara is still, at the very least, one of the most popular ships in the show, hence people that aren't even in the fandom always knowing that one ship. I have no idea where the hell you came up with the notion that it isn't that popular, or is at least less popular than the canon ships.

I actually have thoughts on this recent interrogation, because Kotoko did just come out, and say the thing I keep on saying about her through Utena- I think Kotoko has some belief that because She understands how Cruel and Horrible the world is that She has the right to do the things she does.

Kotoko: You keep asking for it, but as soon as it happens near you by your own choice, you all start complaining and evading your responsibility... You're always like this... Always such idiots! Es: I acknowledge it. You're the strong one, and we're weak. You're right. But that's how we are. Kotoko: You have no power, and yet you make no effort to gain it! You're talking about justice, but it just doesn't make sense! You're invested in people's disasters, yet you take a position of "I have nothing to do with it"! You can't even face your true selves! Es: Whatever you say. Kotoko: If you brag about hating evil, act against it! Carry on the belief that your actions can change this world! I think Kotoko is making a genuine point here about her frustrations with the people around with her, but I think it's important to remember that her first action in Milgram prison was to get on the Warden's (Es) Good side and gain power in the prison through that team up. Kotoko really is not as anti-authoritarian as she seems.

Gunsil pointed out to me that this sort of power grabbing is something that is common in union-busting and what not. Generally speaking it's frowned upon to put down your fellow workers and what not for your own power. Yet, that is what Kotoko is doing. She's calling everyone else around her unsightly for complaining without actually Educating themselves, she creates a diss track for the other prisoners because She Believes that Es should chose Her over Them.

Kotoko believes that:

From the begin I've never asked for your understanding! My actions, one by one, are bringing earth closer to peace. Useless Weaklings should just shut up and let me protect them!

It's a show of intellectual and physical superiority, that since She has the power She gets to make the decisions. Might makes right. Cause it's:

And as much as I think that she has a point here that you should educate yourself. I don't think Kotoko is being fair or just in the Execution of her justice, and that reflects onto her poorly here.
