Man “Battle Nexus: New York” was a great episode but I do have one major gripe with it.

Like. Raph being paired up with Ghostbear? Makes sense. Works great. Works amazing, even.

Mikey being paired up with Meatsweats? Yeah that checks out!!

Donnie getting…Hypno…? I mean. I guess Donnie doesn’t like magic so it kindaaa works but Kendra would have been a much better choice to me personally. Maybe Big Mama didn’t wanna include a human or something…

And Leo getting…uh…one of the Sando Brothers???? Of all villains? Nah let’s be real, his main villain is more Big Mama herself (or Leo could be considered his own worst enemy lmao-). Hell Hypno would have probably worked better here considering their shared love for magic tricks and stuff, but Carl Sando????

fun scene idea that I’ll probably never get around to drawing: someone grabbing a wanted poster from a board or wall only to reveal a missing persons poster featuring the same person as on the wanted poster underneath it (also the reward for them as a wanted person is higher than the reward for returning them when they were missing)

#basically this is something fun I imagine for my oc cashmere #as of right now she’s simply missing (presumed to be kidnapped at least that’s what the family she is from told people)#as of rn in her story she isn’t wanted for anything but that can change I’ll probably have her (attempt to) commit treason against her #own family or something #I think it would be fun that her family is willing to spend less when she’s missing than when they’re mad at him and want him back to be #punished for angering them #I have attempted to draw this out before but was like #it would be better as like an animation tbh but #I can’t animate I’m not going to animate my tablet does not even have the storage for me to animate #maybe a quick animatic if anything but like #idk #it’s more of a fun idea than anything #I imagine what leads to cashmere committing treason is that upon being back in the hands of their family they begin to realize that they #can’t lie to theirself anymore their family is terrible and the reason they died in the first place and snaps #i feel like they found themselves in a situation where they attacked someone out of fear and rage and blah blah that is seen as treason #it would probably be his dad that gets attack im ngl conquest deserves it #or they accidentally hurt them out of fear #I am unsure #*shrug emoji* I’m just making up shit for cashmere as I see fit and per what I find most interesting and fun <3 #also cashmere is my only oc rn who would have both a missing and a wanted poster #sure most of my ocs would find themselves wanted for one reason or another or targeted by others #but some cashmere is useful as a tool to their family and having a runaway child is bad for their reputation they’d ofc want her back to #keep her quiet and keep people from finding out that she ran away #they also still think she’s sickly and wouldn’t want anyone to find out who she is that she’s sickly and for word to spread #basically they want cashmere back so their reputation isn’t damaged and so they can go back to using her as they please #I put a lot of suffering into this character #and I will continue to do so because as my favourite this is what happens #sorry I’m babbling

I'm gonna be honest with you guys, the urge to do the same thing I did with the oitd silhouettes, aka slap text posts onto the art with no knowledge of their canon personality other than what they did in the trailer and pulling from the fandom's perceived personality for them, for the new oxventure characters revealed in that trailer is so real

#and there was only reactions in the trailer #willowfine seems sweet and nice #robin kinda gives off pathetic boyfail to me (in a similar way to dob's pathetic boyfail energy) while also hiding something #lug's character art makes me think he's kinda cautious fsr #but Mike just smiling in the trailer makes me think he's pretty happy-go-lucky like Egbert #tho that could just be him talking with the team about a silly thing he's doing or during his character introduction in the actual episode #I have a similar situation with cressida #cressida's character art seems kinda annoyed and thinks she's above people like Prudence did #however Ellen seems scared or at least shocked or worried so cressida might actually be caring and kind like Ellen's other characters #then we have our new resident goth: happen #I kinda get the vibe that he's a more silent character that gets the job done quickly #like ice bear #but also maybe struggles with emotional connections #even if I'm wrong in my vibe guessing I'm sure I'll like them #I'm already slapping aroace headcanons on some of them #them being happen lug and willowfine #maybe cressida too #actually if I think too much about it I'm just gonna slap aroace headcanons on all of them #so they're all aroace unless I'm proven otherwise aka if I think another headcanon fits better #not a text post #this was gonna be a delete later but a lot of my thoughts are in the tags now #oxventure

Back when mahiru thought his uncle might be dead he had a flashback to the accident that resulted in his mother's death, but one thing I noticed is that we don't actually see akira in this memory? It feels like either mahiru (or someone like lily or jeje) is supressing his memory here.

And if someone possibly killed akira on purpose, who was it and why?

He might know about what is so special about mahiru. In that case killing the mother (who also knew what's special about him #Would make some sense.
