Dulce Vetro! Conficcare and Rametto's older half sister, as well as something of a glimpse at an alternate path that Celia's story could have taken. [tiny text & more info is in plain text under the read more]
Name taken from the poem & latin phrase "Dulce et Decorum est Pro patria mori"- although in her case she is told that it is sweet and honorable/fitting to 'die' for her family. this death is metaphorical, a death of self as her duty of care to her siblings consumes her identity and life. Vetro- 'Glass' is her mothers name, and thus the family name, however Conficcare & Rametto both reject this and use Conficcare as a last name.
Her stand, Blank Expression, furthers this 'death', as its power is draining emotions, leaving the person its used on apathetic and numb, although its offensive capabilities are mostly unknown as it is almost exclusively used on Dulce herself. It leaves pale blue markings behind after use, reminiscent of an eight petaled oxeye daisy, each petal symbolizing a member of her family.
text in the image:
Dulce Vetro is Conficcare & Ramettos older sister, left behind to raise their younger siblings while the two became breadwinners. She was the first daughter and was named in accordance with what was expected of her, Vetro being their mothers name that her brothers abandoned.
BLANK EXPRESSION, her stand, drains emotions like a leach, and is mostly used on herself. it leaves a mark similar to an 8 petaled daisy
Each petal stands for one of her family members: their mother; her two older brothers; her; Conficcare and then Rametto; and the two youngest. of this family, only her and the two youngest could truly be considered family, as their mother is neglectful, the two older brothers ran off to a better life, Conficcare distanced himself due to their mothers homophobia, and then to earn the family money, and eventually he took Rametto with him. only the two youngest stayed, and they are Dulces to raise and care for.
"The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est, Pro patria mori."
Latin phrase from the Roman poet Horace: “It is sweet and fitting to die for one’s country.”
Three Petals, three bun-curls, three remaining members of the family

danny phantom x dc prompt ideas: weather wizard addition.
this comes to you thanks to my big story pieces comment section. i think if the phandom knew more of this characters background and i thought it was more commonly known. it would have more of a field day. same with gotham academy >.> but that is for another post.
alright weather wizard, is a flash villain and a member of the rogues.
mark mardon. is a thief and criminal who escapes from prison and fleas to his brothers house. where he believes he found his brother dead and his weather experiments. including the weather wand which he takes and starts his alias crime as weather wizard. it is hinted at in the comics he actually killed his brother and stole his work. it is believed he had a confrontation with his brother over his prison break, the argument and heightened emotions triggered mark's meta gene and he accidently killed his brother when his powers manifested. and he blocked out that memory. and it is also why he can't use his weather powers without the wand. as a mental block. because he does have powers without the wand.
later on he finds out he has a son with a cop he had relations with. it is known josh is his son because he has weather powers. mark in a fit of rage and jealousy over the his son's powers kidnaps him, with plans to DISSECT AND EXPERIMENT ON HIM TO FIND OUT HOW HIS POWERS WORK SO HE CAN GET THEM. he has a break down though over it before he can go through with it. and wishes his son had someone besides him as a father, because he deserves someone better.
other facts of note: josh was thought to be wally's kid till he got his powers. lady cop has batman's taste. her name is julie.
the rogues have strict rules against hurting kids.
weather wizard killed impulse breaking this rule. though he was tricked.
so yes phandom. here are some options i've brain stormed. please add more ideas for others to knaw on.
1: danny has escaped the fentons/and or giw. flees to central city and weather wizard finds this vivisected terrified kid. and man does it hit his guilt and crazy. this could have been his son. he was going to do this to his child. and it's his redemption/penance to protect this child to make up for his sins. could have a mental break and think he actually did this danny and danny is his son josh too. so many ways to go.
2: other rogues find him, after hearing about ww kidnapping his son and think danny is his son who escaped from his injuries and go on revenge spree for this kid in mistaken idenity. which has funny and dark ways it can go.
3: danny meets ww or his son. and hears how ww couldn't go through with it. maybe from young justice. impulse or members of the league, other rogues dealers choice. danny just dieing a little on the inside like, how come your parent could stop himself with love when he never met you, but my parents raised me and still didn't love me enough not to. the angst protentional here is so high.
4: jazz could work at the facility treating mark. her point of view from treating a person who is so much like her parents but who showed their love for their child in the end. when hers couldn't move past their goals and see their child they claimed to love. could add in she's got a de-aged danny/dannies because of it. to see what it could have been if her parents had been better. stronger. she could get feelings. (totally thinking on par with harley/joker kind of but not that dark.) where mark actually like her and cares for her. could be one-sided. and the giw find them mark breaks out cause she and or kids are in danger and saves them.
5:mix and match the above.
please add more

𝘒𝘦𝘵𝘶'𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘥 & 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 (𝘼𝙨𝙝𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙞) 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴.
Knull, voiced by Ashwini Sun native Andy Serkis, is an ancient god of darkness. He originated in the void before the creation of the universe itself. He literally calls himself the God of the Void.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gorr, portrayed by Ashwini Moon native Christian Bale, was a powerless man who got transformed into a god-killer, being titled The God Butcher. Canonically, in the comics, Gorr took Knull's powerful sword to go on a god-killing spree, believing that no deity deserved to live. This sword is called the Necrosword, forged by Knull's own darkness which is heavily associated with the primordial emptiness before the universe. This puts emphasis on Ashwini, a nakshatra which can connect to the primordial space, being co-ruled by Ketu, which is essentially associated with the void.
Ashwini can be seen in the defying of expectations & traditional power structures, being ruled by Mars, which seeks change, along with the shadow planet of destruction, Ketu. This change of the power structures is captured in how Gorr was born into a weak, suffering race, expected to worship gods, only to then defy divine hierarchy altogether in his quest to eradicate the entire celestial order.
In Hindu mythology, Andhaka, who is linked to Mars (Mangala), was betrayed by the very gods he once served, exactly like Gorr was. The gods cursed Andhaka, and in response, he turned against them and waged war on the divine. Andhaka being born blind can reflect Ketu causing obscurity, detachment, or lack of perception in the material world — being the headless entity it is. Andhaka's parallels to Gorr mirrors Mars’ self-propagating aggression, highlighting mass destruction and eradication.
Tumblr media
Hela, the Goddess of Death, is another embodiment of this destructive, self-propagating expression of Mars with Ketu. She is portrayed by Ashwini Moon native Cate Blanchett. Her associations with Death and darkness already highlights the Ketu rulership, and her quest to take over the throne so ferociously as she did highlights Mars. She slaughters all the Asgardian warriors, including the Warriors Three, and then she yields her powerful ability of the life force to resurrect her ancient army of fallen soldiers. Knull has the same ability to create or yield powers from the Void, being that he controls the dead through the symbiotes. He, much like Hela, can be considered different manifestations of Hades.
I have already touched on Hades, Lord of the Underworld, being possibly connected to Ashwini nakshatra. Both Knull and Hela mostly reside in darkness where they rule over the dead and fallen.
Tumblr media
They are undeniably powerful, but even their wealth lies in the dead. This notion of wealth and abundance (Hades symbolizes wealth) being associated with matters of darkness is very interesting. I touched on it in relation to Magha, an obvious nakshatra regarding this concept, written in this post, relating to the unseen wealth & limitlessness of Hades through manifestation and detachment.
Tumblr media
In the 2013 NBC series Dracula, Mula Moon & ASC native Jonathan Rhys Meyers played Dracula who possesses immense wealth and influence despite being a fearsome creature of darkness.
In regards to rising to power from being considered lowly, insignificant or conquered, this reminded me of the character Artemisia, played by Ashwini Moon Eva Green. Artemisia's entire bloodline got slaughtered, and she was abused and treated as insignificant, being a female born into a hyper-patriarchal society. But even then, she rose up and became a fearsome force who commanded war ships, earning a reputation as a ruthless and independent strategist rather than a simple subordinate.
movie: 300: Rise of an Empire (2014)
She was also named to be a male-butcher/man-killer, who despised the Greeks, much like how Gorr became the god-butcher who despised all deities. Their hatred was defined by their thirst for vengeance, a theme that's also found in Ashwini, although more potent in Bharani nakshatra. Two nakshatras which once again overlap in many ways.
These characters embody necessary forces for the cosmic balance. In many mythologies, destruction is described as integral as creation. It is said that without it, there would be no new beginnings, evolution, or transformation. Ashwini is the nakshatra for new beginnings, and the rulership of Ketu emphasizes the need to detach or destroy in order for that to happen. After destruction, there lies the Void. It's interesting that the character Knull can create anything from his darkness.
In spirituality, the "void state" or "I AM state" refers to a deep meditative state where one aligns with the sense of emptiness, nothingness, and the pure consciousness of reality, where thoughts and the physical body are transcended.
Magha Moon Neville Goddard taught this exactly to his groups and wrote about it in his books, interestingly.
Tumblr media
Hela is death, decay, and endings, but she exists as a necessary force for the cycle of rebirth and renewal. Exactly why she destroyed Thor's Mjolnir, bending a rule or hierarchy that only he can summon it – not even break it. Ashwini destroys and initiates. The change will cause deep loss, it will cause mourning, but it simply symbolizes that bigger things are to come.
Tumblr media
Hela represents the inevitable breaking down of old systems and the decay of outdated ideologies, as explored in the movie through her character. She made the end of an era but also pushed forward a new one, which made her such a great villain for Thor's unexpected transformation.
Gorr is quite similar as an agent of transformation, in that he is a force of reckoning, as he challenges the gods themselves and their arrogance of power by executing them (Hela was also an executioner, Odin's executioner, to be more precise).
Tumblr media
His personal rage evolves into a cosmic mission to challenge the divine, therefore acting as a force of balance — restoration, even if his violence goes too far. These are the themes which I explored through the Mars nakshatras, as Mars also acts as a force of growth. But notice how Ketu is specifically about going straight back to the Void, whether the characters themselves are executioners or killers who send their victims, or those they deem unworthy, back to the afterlife.
Tumblr media
Ashwini Moon Matt Dillion as a serial killer in the film The House That Jack Built.
Knull quite literally represents the cosmic void, being a symbol of entropy as he seeks to undo all things. His ability to harness from the Void and raise the dead further emphasizes the Ketu dominance over this character.
Tumblr media
Knull is literally a primal force, with his ability to consume, corrupt, and reshape life. His existence also signifies that everything must eventually return to its original, undifferentiated state. This explains the nihilistic tendencies I see in Ketu characters, such as Jason Dean from 1988's Heathers, who is played by Magha Sun native Christian Slater.
Tumblr media
The same character was also played by likely Ashwini Moon native Ryan McCartan in the musical Heathers.
Tumblr media
So, Knull’s role in the cosmic order is to enforce this primeval return, which circles back to Ketu's essential purpose. Rahu builds, creates, remakes. This is why Rahu is important for maintaining society, Rahu is also important for both the arts & technology. While Ketu destroys, reduces, eradicates — forces one back to the Void. This is why Ketu natives may feel so unfit for society. Rahu natives must master Maya, which explains why they may immerse themselves into illusion or into creativity/advancing oneself, while Ketu natives can be nihilistic as they may become seduced by the idea of diving back into the Void. This is seen in the Ketu character Jason Dean building a suicide bomb so that everybody goes back to their natural origin/“heaven”, where there's peace and no hierarchy.
Tumblr media
Found another Void-related character played by a Mula native this time.

Crash out Nicky deserves to appear in the movies. 🧍
Tumblr media
Like when he died, got up, didnt question it, and tackled Yusuf, got fatally stabbed again, then caved Yusuf skull in with a rock. (Nicky at his most monstrous)
Tumblr media
Technically Joe killed Ivan but Nickys comment counts for me. Yapper is just yappin. No one is allowed to fuck with Joe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nicky shooting THROUGH Andy to kill Riko after she randomly killed Joe (presumably thats why he did it because it accomplishes nothing but letting Riko get away lol) (No one is allowed to fuck with Joe pt2: family edition).
Tumblr media
Coming to save Booker. The way he did NOT have to get that close... You didnt have to intimidate him before killing him Nicky... bro had literally NO WHERE to run. (That guy will be fine btw no worries)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nicky vs the current administration lol (NGL the artists did Nicky a little dirty makin him and this schmuck look almost EXACTLY alike. Tho on the other hand Nicky can cuckoo bird himself into the ranks again EASILY and really go ham like before. Can just steal his credentials tbh.) (No one is allowed to fuck with Joe pt3. He actually doesnt get to kill this guy either but he was about to if that lady & Joe didnt get between them.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Comic Nicky dont let NOBODY slip up in front of him. (TECHNICALLY Book killed this guy but hes literally just going along with Nicky trying to convince him to go back to Joe but Nicky is like ''NAW I got a list I gotta complete first... '' fully LOCKED IN. Coulda been hittin it but chose a hit list. My mans gonna be sleepin on the couch when he gets home. RIP buddy.) (Also we learn in this comic Nicky WILL organize a hit list and murder spree... but he will NOT lie to Joe. Thats crossing a line, Sebastian! Dont be stupid.)
Tumblr media
All Im sayin is spooky-eyes over here should be able to go on a weird violent vengeful murder spree or something. At least once. Let him get a little silly.
He should look like this when hes done-

Do you see it for him?

PLEASEEEE GIVE US THE LORE TIMELINE FOR UR AU
WELL I MEAN IF YOU INSIST-
Tumblr media
I made this timeline JUST FOR THIS MOMENT. More rambling under the cut if anyone is curious 👍
So essentially I changed everything because I can. I've been in the fandom since like the first game came out and I was a baby so it's my right to mold the lore to what I want thank you very much.
I essentially just condensed it. So FNAF 3 and the events of the Steel Wool era are combined. It makes sense to me that a company like the one that owns the Pizzaplex would use a literal real life murder spree to make a haunted house. Did you guys see the Scraptrap arcade cabinet? Yeah. Exactly.
I took inspiration from the movie with how Will was able to have a weird psychic connection to the kids, and controlled them in a way to how Henry's relationship with the missing children is in this continuity. He was essentially able to convince them it was Will that killed them. Only Charlie knows the truth, because she hasn't revealed herself to her father and pretty much saw everything happen (yikes). I like to think that Charlie and Will kind of team up similarly to how Henry and Mike team up in canon? A perfect mirror flip.
I'm toying big time with some twists, I do like the mimic as a villain but I haven't decided yet if I'm going to use him for this plotline. Maybe! Who knows maybe Henry never made it to his 70s and the current CEO was the mimic all along ooh spoookyyy.
My OC Beau essentially replaces Vanny as the partner in crime to Springtrap. Though this time the goal is to clear his name and to free the souls of the children. Vanessa is still around but nothing bad ever happens to her because she doesn't deserve it and I love her.
I want Michael to get out of the Sister Location spot under the Pizzaplex and become a minor antagonist too because him, Evan, and Elizabeth all also blame William for what happened, what reason would they have to believe otherwise its fair.
So yeah y'know, drawing my stupid oc being silly with Springs ended up getting its own lore bible my bad. Autism moment.

Au where Redhood’s “I’m not your son anymore, Batman” is contagious.
Aka: Tim Drake sees Jason, his favorite Robin, decide that Batman isn’t cool anymore.
Warnin: violent stuff ahead, per usual for Red Hood. Talk of murder and disability, and full body paralysis caused intentionally.
Tim is peer pressured. If Jason thinks Batman isn’t cool? That no-kill rules are getting in the way? Well then maybe Tim should listen.
Tim changes his name to Red Robin, to match Red Hood’s theme.
Jason finds himself with a tiny stalker who is absolutely fine with murder. Killing criminals to clean up gothams streets? Heads in bags? Jason, that sounds brilliant. Sign Tim up.
Jason realizes this is a chance to get back at Batman. Corrupting the replacement Robin? It’s a genius plan.
Meanwhile, Batman has no idea Red Hood is Jason.
You think Tim told Bruce why exactly he was leaving? Jokes on you. He’s a bat, and bats are notorious for communication issues.
From Batman’s perspective, his Robin his son just ran off to go be a sidekick to some rouge. Could mind control be at play? Tim left an encrypted note that said “I’m not being mind controlled, Batman. Also, you’re not my dad.” Batman is skeptical, since the puzzle looks like something Tim would make (it took hours for Batman to decode). But “I’m not being mind controlled” is what someone being mind controlled would say. Or worse, the mind control is preventing Tim from realizing he’s being mind controlled.
Batman is trying to lure Robin back using all the tricks. Baiting traps with Alfred’s cookies. Leaving really cool cases unsolved. Even asking the Justice League for help.
He even informs Nightwing of what happened.
Nightwing isn’t absolutely against the murder-spree his two baby birds are on.
He’s not going to join the murder. Killing isn’t something he could ever do himself. But he gets it.
Dick did the research before even knowing Red Hood’s identity. He knows hood only went after the truly corrupt. The ones that were unforgivable. Drug lords, human traffickers, all the worst kinds of predators.
He’s surprised when Red Hood reveals his identity to Dick. Jason is trying to hold Tim back from too much murder, and decided to throw the feral child at Nightwing.
This meant revealing his identity. And it helps that maybe Jason was missing his brother.
Dick is now incredibly happy. He has his two younger brothers. Nothing could be better.
Sure, Batman is missing his son. But maybe Bruce deserves it a little bit?
Barbara is down to kill the clown.
Red Hood and Red Robin approach her with an elaborate plot to break into Arkham and murder the Joker. Since the Joker hurt Batgirl so badly, Red Robin argues, Oracle should he allowed to decide if she wants in on the revenge scheme.
And Oracle? She has a worse idea. Murder is alright, but did they suffer? Not really. Barbara decides to make the revenge personal: neck down paralysis. The Joker won’t be able to hurt anyone else. If Joker somehow heals? Then murder is acceptable. But having Joker watch his empire of chaos crumble around him as he’s helpless to stop it? That’s the revenge Barbara wants.
It means investing in better security for Arkham, to make sure Joker can’t corrupt someone else like he did to Harley Quinn. It means making sure Ra’s Al Ghul doesn’t break in and heal the joker with Lazarus water.
Jason is consoled by the fact that before paralyzing the clown, he gets to beat him with a crowbar.

Hi hope you’re having a good/night can you do a Jason Todd x detective fem reader. She meets Jason , but she meets him when he’s red hood at a crime scene.
Jason Todd x FemDetective!Reader
"So you're the guy that's making my paperwork pile up higher than the Empire State Building."
Tumblr media
"Christ, another one?" One of your coworkers said as the limp, dead body was zipped up into a body, and evidence collected and put away.
You shrug a shoulder, writing down in your notepad a list of suspects and witnesses involved in this new murder, which was also linked to other recent killings.
"Adam Matthews." You state the victim's name.
"Drug dealer?" Your coworker asks, looking at the substance that Matthews had on his person being bagged for evidence.
"Mm. He was a cook for a drug dealer who tested on homeless kids or orphans. But Matthews was also known for being an accessory for other murders, kidnappings, and was guilty for sexual assaults," you state, sighing, putting your notebook away.
Your coworker fell shocked. "How the fuck is he not locked up?!" He yells.
"Links with richies," you scoff. "Well, he's dead now. His long, overdue debt it now paid." You always believed these kinds of people never deserved a second chance. All the previous murder victims were similar to Adam Matthews. So, others may call you crazy, but you were thankful for this anonymous killer going out of their way, killing scumbags like Matthews.
"I'm going to scout around the area, Parks," you told your coworker as he nodded and went to discuss with the other officers around the area.
You shone your flashlight around the narrow alleys, searching for any clues or evidence you could use to help solve the crime and catch the murderer. Or in your eyes an anti-hero.
Just as you were about to turn around and return to the scene, you heard grunts and strings of profanity coming from behind one of the dumpsters.
Your hand hovered over your gun in your hip holster, walking towards the sounds.
You swiftly turned to see the source, hand on the handle of the gun, and saw a certain, outlawed vigilante leaning on the dumpster, holding his arm, his body stained with blood.
His helmet lay in between his legs, his domino mask remaining on his face.
"What the fu- Red Hood??" You exclaim.
"You mind?" He groans, holding his hand out, trying to avoid the flash shining in his eyes.
"Shit, sorry," you reoly, turning it off and placing it on your utility belt. Your head tilted to the side, seeing that Red Hood was struggling to wrap his arm up. "It's loose," you say, referring to the bandage- or rag that he was tying around his bicep.
"Wow, really? Didn't- fuck- didn't notice," he says, cursing once more when the bandage fell down.
You roll your eyes, crouching beside his and taking the bandage from his, unwrapping his arm and rewrapping it tighter as it should be.
"So you're the guy that's making my paperwork pile up higher than the Empire State Building." You mutter, tying the bandage to stay in place.
"Sorry, little cop lady. Just doing my job." He hisses.
"It's little detrctice lady to you. And I'd appreciate it if you made your little killing sprees a little more discreet. Eventually, the actual cops are gonna catch your ass," you snicker, getting up.
"As if I let them." He bites back.
"L/n. Where are you?" Parks says through your walkie. "Did you find anything?"
Red Hood gets up, putting his helmet back on, looking down at you, waiting for your response.
You click on the button to reply. "No. Nothing here. Coming back now."
The white glowing eyes pierce through yours as Red Hood chuckles. "Hiding a criminal? Haven't taken a look through the law book in a while, but isn't that illegal?" You couldn't see it, but Red Hood grinned, amised at this new encounter.
You shrugged. "I'm only doing this because I know I can't stop you, even if I wanted to. Besides. If these ass rat criminals kept scurrying around, the papaerwork would be much more than you're making." You smirk.
He laughs. "So you're saying you don't want to stop me?" He crosses his arms.
"Have a good night, Mr. Hood." You bid him goodbye, walking back to the crime scene.
"And to you too, little detective lady," he says, quietly hoping to run into again after he puts lead into the head of his next target.
"Jeez, I thought you died or something. You were gone for a while, are you sure you didn't find anything?" Parks quickly asks you.
You quickly wipe away the blood on your palms from Red Hood's wound onto your black jeans. "Save the interrogation for the suspects, Parks. Nothing there but dead rats and graffiti."
You walk off, almost missing the shine of a red helmet running off on the roof of a building in the distance as you smirk to yourself, also secretly hoping Red Hood would cause another casualty to meet him again.
Parks was about to walk off, too, almost missing the tiniest splotch of red on your white shirt as he raised an eyebrow.
Tumblr media
I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO MAKE IT SO SHORT!!!
I didn't want to leave this ask in my inbox for too long and forget about it 😭😭
BUTTTT if you or anyone else wants!!! I can make a part 2 where Reader and Red Hood begin a constant meetup after every death Red Hood causes (only to those criminals who deserve it, obvi). And Parks becomes suspicious of Reader and threatens her or that Reader's job is put on the line!!!!
I was going to add this idea in, but I'm really bad at making long fics cuz I always wanna get it over and done with and I'm so impatient 😭
HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT ANYWAYS 🙏🙏

This is probably controversial but Klaus never really had a redemption arc.
He never actually changed in all five seasons of the originals. The only thing different about him between when he is first introduced in tvd to originals is that we see more of his relationships. Yes, he loved Camille. Yes, he loves Hope more than anything. But did his behavior change? No.
"well he died for Hope!" shut up. That was literally the most selfish thing he could've possibly done at the time. Her mother had literally just died and Elijah offered to do it. Elijah had nothing left to live for. Hayley was dead and he blamed himself for it. His relationship with Hope was never going to be the same. His relationship was never even going to be the same with his siblings so he was done. Elijah wanted to die. Klaus should've let him. Instead Klaus chose the easy way out. Instead of being a parent to Hope he ran. He killed himself when she needed him most.
Let's also talk about the face that from s1 to s5 he was just as brutal as ever. He did insane things in all the seasons.
Season 1 he comes back to New Orleans and wants the city back. Why? Because he's Klaus Mikaelson that's why and he feels entitled to everything he wants. Not to mention the way he uses Cami in the first season. I love Klamille but still. He compelled her, made her think she was crazy, and quite literally made her bait for Marcel.
Season 2 he was still bad. Yes, he had some good moments but his over arching character remained the same. What he did with Dahlia and his "punishments" for his siblings for daggering him were insane. He murdered yet another one of Elijah's lovers in front of him. Ripped Hayley from their child. He constantly was claiming Hope was his child and seemed to conveniently forget she had a mother too. And instead of telling his siblings his plan he still is just as paranoid as ever and refuses to trust them. Does that sound like a man who's really had character devlopment?
Season 3 he is marginally better. But I am a firm believer that the writers didn't know how to give him a real redemption arc, so they just made the characters around him do things that were just as bad as him to make him look better. Especially Elijah. Freya too.
Season 4 he attempts to be a dad for the five seconds he has. But then he's forced away from Hope. Again. Which is horrible. But he's only being forced away from her physically. He has a phone. He has a daughter who quite literally can astral project to see him whenever she wants. And while he's away what does he do? Goes on a murder spree.
"He was protecting Elijah? Like he said he wouldn't know any enemy if they sat down at his piano!"
What were these so-called enemies going to do to Elijah? He was still an original even without his memories. It's not like anyone had white oak to kill Elijah, so why was Klaus so worried? Honestly it was just an excuse for his behavior, which he always had one.
Then Hope sees him being killing someone on accident. What does he do? Does he do the mature thing, like a parent should and apologize? No. Instead he cuts off contact with his child and never speaks to her again! Until she kidnaps her mother to get his attention because she misses her dad. That sounds like a man who deserves father of the year! And that definitely sounds like someone who grew up from when we first saw him... yeah, right.
And again, instead of being with her after her mother dies when she needs him most, he kills himself. He takes the easy way out and runs from being a parent again and again.
So yeah, I don't think Klaus changed as much as people like to say he did. And he wasn't a good dad, even if he was a loving one.

TMA - Chapters 131-140: Want to stop a ritual? Throw shit in it
Here we are, back with ten more chapters!
Jon promised me a way to save Daisy and I can’t wait to see how he will do it. And, most importantly, if he will come back all in one piece.
Fingers crossed.
<< Main Masterlist < Previous post  _______________________________
MAG 131 - Flesh
So, Jon’s anchor is going to be part of himself. But it looks like that, no matter how many people/things want to kill him, he cannot die nor hurt himself in any way. Good to know, at least his patron is useful for something.
Melanie is back and she’s… better? Somehow? I mean, she’s still very pissed, but at least she’s not in a killing spree mode anymore.
I also really like her talk about anger, because anger is exactly how she describes it: gives you strength, it pushes you to do things and, when kept at bay, can become a strong part of you and your personality.
But because of its double nature, if anger keeps being validated, it can grow until “it slips out and hurts someone”. And if there is something that validates your anger and tells you that you are right to hurt others… you latch to it. After all, everyone would prefer some good validation, rather than acknowledging what you did was wrong and dealing with the consequences. As Melanie said, the bullet “didn’t stay in my leg because of some ghostly masterplan. It stayed because I wanted it.”.
Tumblr media
Melanie: say no more, bro.
So, she calls Helen. And Jon is incredibly lucky, because I feared his rejection would let Helen plan revenge against him. But nope, it turns out she helped Jon’s colleagues against The Flesh and trapped Jared Hopworth in its corridors.
You’re a nice Distortion, Helen, I like you.
We finally meet Jared in person and he’s a nice guy, I like him! I mean:
He wants to kill Jon, but we already learned that killing Jon is a national sport, so it’s fine.
He wants to be paid for his statement, so at least he’s more clever and diplomatic than Jude, who just got pissed and burned Jon in return.
As soon as he got a Leitner, he went straight to experimenting on his father (by making him taller) and his mother (by giving her a new smile). He’s fucked up, I like that in a character.
When other Flesh servants told him to remake the world together, Jared replied: "fuck off, I like the world as it is and I have stuff to do.". What a king.
He got new friends, by reshaping their bodies.
Moral of the story: The Flesh’ powers can make you win in life, but unfortunately you can do nothing if someone scams you. And Jared got scammed by the letters, that told him to attack the Archives.
Who was the sender? The Web, still following some weird business plan? Or Elias wanting to have fun?
So, Jared fulfills his side of the agreement and tells his life story up to a few months ago. And Jonathan Sims, the Archivist, avatar of The Eye, magical know-it-all, the guy who literally sold one of his ribs for a goddamn statement… has the nerve to complain that the statement is already over and “hardly worth a rib”.
Goddamit Jon, you’re asking to be killed.
But since Jon is incredibly lucky, he doesn’t die because Melanie and Helen rescue him.
Honestly, I like the vibes these two have together. They sound like total besties and how cool would that be? They deserve to hang out together and talk about the people they killed, how complicated bodies are and how liberating it is to not care about them.
Tumblr media
Is this change still supporting my “positive godly powers” theory? For now, yes. We’ll see how it evolves in the future.

MAG 132 - Entombed
After more than 100 chapters from MAG 2 and the absolute king who kept the coffin in his house without opening it (you will be forever famous, my man), we finally see what’s inside the Casket.
And there isn’t much, aside from a path that keeps getting tighter and smaller until you’re literally crawling, unable to die and unable to move on at the same time. It kinda reminds me of The Enigma of Amigara Fault by Junji Ito and the sense of claustrophobia I felt while reading it, so yes, I like it.
Daisy was still alive, I knew it! And Jon casually confirmed my theory about how Daisy was a servant of The Hunt. She herself admitted The Hunt had been part of her life for a very long time!
But hey, apparently being stuck in a casket for months, away from your loved ones, is enough to convince even the strongest Hunter that, once they’ll come back, they’ll change their life and become a better person, fuck The Hunt.
Does that mean The Buried >>> The Hunt? Makes sense: anyone stuck in a coffin for more than 30 seconds would start to reconsider their whole life.
About Daisy’s dreams: I'm not sure if I got it right, but what I understood is that she was having prophetic dreams about what would happen. Once she saw her dreams starting to become real (e.g., Jon coming back from the States with the same shirt she dreamt of), she decided Jon was not human anymore, and she had to kill him.
Pretty normal: everyone connected to a supernatural god wants to kill Jon.
Despite the threat, Jon focuses very hard on his rib incredible luck and gets them both out, just in time to meet Basira - who hasn’t dropped dead in shock yet. This man’s luck is starting to become supernatural too.
_______________________________
MAG 133 - Dead Horse
I’ve never heard of the lost city of Z, but it turns out it’s something taken from the real world - as well as Fawcett, his son Jack and his friend Raleigh Rimmel.Glad to learn something new :D
So these guys went searching for that city and searched. And searched. And searched. And met people from past expeditions and searched together. And searched. And searched.
Moral of the story: The Hunt is both the stupidest and the most clever of all Powers. It’s the stupidest because its ritual is neverending. And it’s the most clever, because if the ritual never ends, no one can throw shit in it to stop it.
Also, “The Everchase” is a cool name.
Tumblr media
Okay, she’s a bit of a queen for this reply, but also: trust Jon, Basira. He says and does stupid shit, fine, but he already crossed the “I’m going to do everything by myself to save everyone” bridge. He spent an entire season being paranoid, only to realize he was being stupid. So yes, he’s right when he says “we make bad decisions when we don’t communicate”.
He might not be human anymore, but he’s still my son and I’m his proud mother <3
One last thing: Daisy has been eight months in the goddamn coffin and Jon three days? Holy shit, time flies when you’re having fun. Or when you’re being buried underground.
I wonder where the fuck was Martin during all of that. When will my man come back from Peter Lukas’ office - or wherever he’s working?
_______________________________
MAG 134 - Time of Revelation
Holy shit, I literally called him. Martin is back and the time of revelation wasn’t just for him: it was for us too.
So. A fifteenth Power, uh? Fear of Extinction, to wipe out everything in our world and leave nothing behind. “The Terrible Change. The Future Without Us.”
Pretty accurate fear and I definitely don’t like how we seem to inch closer and closer to it. Let’s all collectively thank humans’ hubris, incompetence and ignorance for the decisions made in recent history.
This "new birth" also makes me think: considering new Powers can be born from new fears... can a new Power be born from our century's new fears?
I am especially thinking about the "rise of the AI" fear. The fear that humanity will be destroyed by AI. That AI will take over and wipe us out entirely.
Is this fear maybe too similar to The Extinction, or is there the foundation for a possible, modern Power? What do you think?
My thoughts aside, this MAG tells us some more interesting stuff regarding Peter Lukas and the overall plot:
*
First: Two Powers never attempted a ritual.
Mother-of-Puppets, aka The Web. And I get it: why changing the world, when you’re having fun already? This Power is based on differences, so a multifaceted world is already perfect enough for it.
Terminus, aka The End. And, again, of course it doesn’t need to perform a ritual. Everything will eventually die, so why bother at all? Way better to just sit and wait for everything and everyone to die. Most relatable Power ever.
Tumblr media
I get Peter’s reasons here. Of course, if a Power like The Extinction rises and takes full control, it will be game over for everyone. If The Extinction wipes everything out, there would be nothing for all other Powers - End included. And if there’s nothing for the Powers… who knows? Maybe they’ll wither and even die?
Don’t tell me this will be the final-final boss. Choosing between The Extinction and and keeping all other Powers. I will crumble and die if THIS is the final choice.
*
Second: Peter has a plan and he requires “someone touched by the Beholding”.
Tumblr media
Of course Elias didn’t want to help: helping would’ve required him getting up on his ass and do stuff. Too much work for him.
Luckily for Peter, there is Martin! And Martin is:
lonely enough to be claimed by The Lonely
caring enough to do something for everyone else/the world
badass enough to go all the way and save everyone
Which are good things if you’re a great human being like Martin, bad things if the avatar of a supernatural Power got his eyes on you.
*
Third: Peter tried to perform a ritual.
So Forsaken is, what, the actual name of The Lonely? Just like Mother-of-Puppets and Terminus? Will we get the real names of all the Powers? I hope so.
Peter’s ritual failed because of Gertrude, of course. I wonder what kind of shit she throw in it: was it a guy, a thing or a guy with a thing?
Peter casually admits he will try to perform another ritual in the future - if the world, hopefully, doesn’t end in the meantime. Legit.
*
Fourth: Peter is a nice fatherly figure.
Tumblr media
Like… he’s genuinely nice with Martin. He doesn’t want to pressure him and he’s trying his best to convince Martin he can be trusted.
Oh no, I am starting to like this guy and hoping he will be a good father. But I am so, so scared that he will destroy my hopes by the end of the season.
*
Fifth: Peter is a funny guy.
Tumblr media
Pretty accurate resume of MAG 132, couldn’t have said it better.
Tumblr media
Ahahaha, he even calls the archive “a little soap opera”! Which actually is, so he’s not wrong. He’s a funny guy, I’m really starting to like him.
Tumblr media
AND HE’S EVEN NICER WITH MARTIN!
Peter Lukas, I’m talking to you now: get my hopes down, do one single wrong thing to Martin and The Extinction will be the last thing you will have to worry about.

MAG 135 - Dark Matter
We’ve heard/read a ton of statements, in these four seasons. But this is the first in which we get an ultimatum. Manuela Dominguez and Maxwell Rayner literally said: “Yo, we made our Black Sun and will perform a ritual soon. Surrender or else.”
10 points for the audacity, 10 points for the overconfidence, 20 points for the nerve of entering the temple of The Eye, calling it “a sick voyeur” and threatening its avatar/servants.
Okay, so the Dedalus served three purposes:
Manuela Dominguez had to create the black sun for The Dark’s ritual
Jan Kilbride was the lab rat, picked to entertain Simon Fairchild and The Vast
Carter Chilcott was the lab rat for The Lonely because… the Lukases didn’t know what to do?
I get why these three worked together, because what’s more dark, vast and lonely than outer space? It was the perfect environment for them.
But also: why did these three Powers work together like this? The Dark did stuff for the ritual, The Vast wanted to have fun… and the Lukases? What did they want to accomplish? I doubt they just wanted to hang out with other Powers. Did they also make something for their ritual? Maybe we will find out in the future.
Great, it seems like the black sun is still around. And guess who is the lucky guy who will have to stop this ritual. Guess it, Jon.
Tumblr media
Oh my god, I love this man an unholy amount.
Tumblr media
How can I not stan him? He sent Basira literally everywhere, because bringing Daisy back required her to be away. What a bastard, I bet he was grinning all the time like the bitch he is.
He even has the gall to say Jon’s performance during the Unknowing was “disappointing”. All while he was sitting on his ass, waiting to be metaphorically fucked by Martin’s plan.
At least it seems like Jon did great with The Buried, so his now-self-appointed mentor Elias Bouchard is satisfied and wants Jon to become stronger for the next big shit.
And the next big shit is:
Tumblr media
The boss of this season is going to be the Extinguished Sun. And here I thought the previous rituals have all been stopped by Gertrude - at least, that what the first statements of this season seemed to imply.
But nope, there is still one on. And I’m glad for the clarification regarding Ny-Ålesund and the People’s Church of the Divine Host: they were not servants of The Eye, they were against The Eye. Of course they shared stuff like closed eyes symbol: The Dark is a bit like The Stranger, a power of the unknown. While The Eye is a power strictly based on knowing, making things clear, shedding light. Of course they would contrast each other.
And guess who is the lucky boy who will have to stop this ritual? Guess it, Jo-
Tumblr media
Elias, please, stop being so funny, I can’t grin every time I read your sentences.
Maybe it’s better if this guy is in prison, because if he’s around, I would spend all time giggling and grinning.

MAG 136 - The Puppeteer
*EPIC, Circe and Puppeteer vibes intensifies*
So, as I was saying…
Tumblr media
Poor Jon, he can’t even ask simple questions like “How are you?”, without activating his compelling powers. The Eye basically destroyed that shred of human interactions he could’ve still had.
Speaking of the statement, we get to see Neil Lagorio again. I remembered he was the guy from MAG 110, the one obsessed with spiders. Luckily I remembered it, because all the talk about puppeteers and being puppets and being puppeteered around had a lot of Stranger vibes.
Well, that until Annabelle Cane appeared, ready to pursue another weird business plan. This time the plan was:
Find the director obsessed with spiders
Now he’s obsessed with being puppeteered around
Send away his friend/colleague/caregiver for five goddamn months
Kill him by wrapping him in his strings
Uhm… profit?
Still a bit confused by her plans, but I appreciate the effort.
But if Annabelle’s plans are weird, Daisy’s plans are insane.
She’s really trying to not be a Hunter anymore. She wants to be a better person. So, what does she do, to be sure The Hunt won’t reclaim her again?
Kick the door of Elias’ old office
Go through all drawers
Find an employment contract
Fill it, sign it and throw it on the desk
Congratulations! The Eye accepted your cv, you’re part of the team
10/10, it’s the silliest plan ever, as well as the most Daisy plan ever and the most Eye plan ever.
Also, I keep loving how The Eye accepts everyone, it doesn’t matter if they’re carefully selected based on their psychological profile or if they smash open a door and sign a random form. Everyone is welcomed, in this temple of supernatural know-it-alls.
Tumblr media
My bad, The Eye doesn’t accept everyone: it accepts QUEENS AND QUEENS ONLY.
Also, I love how we keep the EPIC vibes, first with the puppeteer, now with the monster.
Uhm, now that I think about it, Monster's lyric kinda fits for Jon, doesn’t it?
How has everything been turned against us? How did suffering become so endless?
And
I'm surrounded by the souls of those I've lost I'm the only one whose line I haven't crossed
and
If I became the monster and threw that guilt away Would that make us stronger? Would it keep our foes at bay?
and
Then I'll become the monster I will deal the blow
And this last part works very well, considering what he says here about the choice he made during his coma, the “choice to become… something else”. Like, you know, a monster.
Now, I’m not saying I want a Jon-centric animatic based on Monster from EPIC the musical… but I really REALLY want a Jon-centric animatic based on Monster from EPIC the musical.

MAG 137 - Nemesis
Oh, so a statement regarding the Slaughter’s ritual. And it has all the elements of a standard ritual:
a cool name (The Risen War)
people together in a place to do Power-related things (in this case, slaughter each other)
music because everything is better with the right rhythm
Profit! Unless someone throws shit in it
It turns out this is the first ritual in which you don’t have to throw shit in, to stop it. You have to throw shit out of it. In this case, a guy who decides “Fuck no, fuck the war and fuck killing others: I’d much rather live, thanks” and goes the hell out. Pretty good choice, I would’ve done the same.
Tumblr media
Gerry has a father named Eric and I want to know what happened to him too.
Of course Gertrude likes Gerry. The world needs to like Gerry. Gerry deserves love and love only.
Tumblr media
Jon has a point: why doesn’t he know anything about this ritual? He’s an avatar of The Eye, he’s supposed to know something about it. Or, at least, to know about this Watcher’s Crown.
And the way he talks about it… until now, I thought “the Watcher’s Crown” was just a cool name to identify the entire ritual. However, in his words, Jon seems to imply that there is something identifiable as a crown: something that may be crown-shaped or work as a metaphorical crown. It may not be a simple physical crown but maybe a crown made of eyes or a specific place that works as a “crown” - like a tower Panopticon-style.
Yes, I’m looking at you, Millbank prison.
Still, this doesn’t explain why Jon doesn’t know anything. An avatar of The Eye in The Eye’s temple… and he knows nothing? My possible explanations (for now) are:
Jon is not involved for now because Elias plans to involve him in a later stage. Hence, all the concern regarding how strong Jon is/testing him etc.
The Web/other Powers are purposely keeping Jon unaware of this ritual somehow, to not let The Eye ascend.

MAG 138 - The Architecture of Fear
Tumblr media
Oh my god, Elias and Martin interacting. I am delighted.
Elias’ relationship with the apocalypse is “complicated”. Which I suppose is another way to say “Stopping it requires too much work and I’m too lazy”. Have I already said I love this guy?
My love aside, Elias’ reason is that he has been busy. And him being busy is such a joke, even Martin snorts.
What can I say, I love that my meme “ahah Elias lazy” is canon.
Tumblr media
You know, jokes aside, I like how Elias gives a choice to Martin and Jon. He pushes them where he wants, sure, but he doesn’t straight tell them what to do - except for when Martin was burning statements but, well, he was burning statements.
If Martin wants to join The Lonely, it will be on his own accord. Elias could’ve tried to stop him somehow, considering Martin is one of his entourage and he hired him to be a servant in the temple of The Eye. But still, if Martin makes a choice, Elias will let him do it. He’s a good guy, after all…
Tumblr media
… but he’s also an useless bitch. And I love him for that <3
Tumblr media
The foreshadowing is real and I fear Martin will definitely join The Lonely. I mean, I am surprised he hasn’t done it already, considering he spends most of his time somewhere away from his friends and doesn’t interact with anyone except for Peter.
Also, we have the teaser and that made it clear he will do something to save Jon, so…
Speaking of the statement, it’s from Robert Smirke to Jonah Magnus, so of course it’s full of interesting things and that’s why I will overanalyze the heck of them:
*
1) Hubris is the real enemy
Once again, we have a human who learned about these Powers and thought he could channel and control them.
In Smirke’s case, he saw what he thinks are their truest forms and… honestly? Love that. Powers that are not human-shaped nor purely abstract ideas, but places and areas. It keeps their supernatural aspect, it makes them appear even more inhuman and it gives a clearer image of the fear they represent.
So, by looking at all of this, Smirke’s thought wasn’t “Maybe I should stop eating so much in the evening”, but “Sure, let’s build places to contain and control these Powers”. Hubris >>> Self-preservation, I see.
And considering what he says to Jonah Magnus regarding “their work on Millbank”, I assume the prison was built with the express purpose of channeling The Eye’s power. Then Smirke came to his senses and stopped dealing with this shit, while Jonah Magnus said “why not, let’s keep going”.
Hubris >>> Self-preservation, again.
*
2) Who tf is Scott?
So Maxwell Rayner has been going around for a while, fine. And, according to Robert Smirke’s words, same goes for Lukas (Peter? Or the entire family)... and Scott.
Now, who the fuck is this Scott? Did we already meet him? Do we still have to meet him? I don’t remember any Scott, so maybe he was a past avatar and died?
*
3) A balance of the Dread Powers
It’s implied that, in the past, Smirke thought the Powers could balance each other. Then, this idea was a bit lost, once he realized that the Powers are everchanging, new ones can be born from old ones and a real balance isn’t achievable.
Tumblr media
And this makes me think about something I have been mulling over since MAG 135: why do these Powers all aim to make their own ritual? Why don’t they cooperate - at least the ones who don’t opposes each other?
Think about the Dedalus: we had three Powers working together, bringing people into space, planning this huge, cooperative mission… and used it to make their own individual ritual/waste time. Why didn’t they make up a collective ritual, one that could’ve worked for the three of them? Why has no one of these Powers tried to make up a new ritual, one that could work for more than one single Power?
I mean, a collaborative ritual is stronger, because it puts together more than one single Power. And it has more chances to succeed, considering the huge amount of powers, servants and avatars involved. It’s stupid they never tried and just worked by themselves all this time.
Typical Brits, always doing things by themselves :P
Jokes aside, maybe there is a plot-related reason for this lack of collaboration between Powers. And maybe it’s related to the following point:
*
4) The origin of the Dread Powers
I can’t believe it, but Mr. Sims is hinting at the origin story of the Dread Powers. He’s really trying to please me. And he’s succeeding.
I love backstories and origin stories, because they say A LOT about the characters, the plot and the writer. A good backstory is like a good foundation: if it’s stable and coherent, it can hold the story, justify its future development, explain the characters’ personalities/choices, and show all the attention and care of the writer. It’s the most evident proof the story is well made.
So yes, I am more than ready to find out what the real backstory will be and if it works in the TMA scenario.
For now, we have four possible choices and each of them has its own pros, cons and possible developments:
The Powers are eternal
PRO: It makes the TMA world more nihilistic. These supernatural forces have always been part of the multiverse, forever present and forever indifferent. It reinforces the idea of inevitability: humanity can do nothing to escape these fears.
CONS: if these Powers have always been, then why are they so interested in our planet? Do they latch onto every single life form in the multiverse? Or have they been eternally bored, until life appeared on Earth? And speaking of that, what about the animals? Did they appear when animals started to exist or only with humans? Gerry said the Powers take into consideration animals’ fears too (e.g., The Hunt), so they should manifest among animals too. So did they manifest among bacteria, too? Where is the line when the Powers start to take an interest in life?
The Powers are born by accident
PRO: It makes TMA world more tragic. Humanity (or God or whatever) brought this evil on Earth and has to deal with it. Humanity is responsible for its own misery.
However, this scenario offers a possible positive outcome: if the Powers are born by accident, nothing says they cannot be destroyed, too. If humanity somehow created an evil god, humanity can also kill that same god.
CONS: how where they created? If it was an accident, what happened? How did humanity manage to create such powerful forces? Is the process possible to repeat? Is it possible to re-create other Powers? What stops humanity from creating positive forces too, then? Or from destroying these Dread Powers? Is there a formula of some kind? An inverted ritual?
The Powers have been created by God and they’re part of a divine plan
PRO: it connects to my theory about the positive god-like forces. A positive force exists and it has not been shown itself yet.
And what could their divine plan be? To give humanity a choice.
In  this scenario, the Powers work as a substitute of the Devil: they are tempters, liars, deceivers. They trick humanity, they offer gifts that damn people and push them away from humanity. When people are accosted by these forces, they have a choice: they can ran away and learn their lesson, they can resist them or they can fall prey of them. Just like humans with the devil, the decision is up to the individuals. (This would also reconnect to Jon’s talk about choices, btw.)
If we think about the possible future outcomes of this scenario, we can imagine that, just like God made these negative forces, they made positive ones too - and we still have to see them.
CONS: This scenario implies a God of some kind exists and that alone opens a huge can of worms. There would be a trillion questions to answer, starting from “How this God came to be” to “What did this God to, before humanity”.
And if this God made positive Powers too, then why the fuck did they wait the events in the TMA series, before showing up?
The Powers have been brought into existence by some ancient civilisation
PRO: It has some of the same good points of the “creation by accident”, like that humanity is responsible for its own misery - which is one of the most interesting, imho.
It also offers the same possible positive outcome: maybe an ancient civilisation created humanity’s fears, but a more modern one can create humanity’s hopes. That could open a ton of interesting discussions about humanity, how we shape the world, our misery and our nature.
CONS: same as the “creation by accident”. How did an ancient civilisation make these forces? Is there a ritual, a spell to cast? Also, there’s the risk of making everything a bit too “human-centric”, while until now, it seemed more like these Powers were forces of nature who just came in contact with humanity.
*
5) The Watcher’s Crown
Soooo, Smirke’s dream: he gets up, goes out, there is silence, then the sky gave him a wink.
If this is a possible foreshadowing of the Watcher’s Crown, I suppose the Crown is either the entire sky, the universe or the entirety of Earth.
But also, Smirke says to Jonah Magnus “if you have any remaining ambitions to use our work to try and wear the Watcher’s Crown”, which means… this “crown” can be wear.
And yes, sure, “wear the crown” can be metaphorical. Hence why, I really like the idea that the crown is either the sky or the Earth. I mean, just imagine an avatar of The Eye ascending, becoming so powerful that the entire Earth is one huge eye from which they can see everything everywhere. A truly colossal ‘crown’ to wear.
That’s awesome, I fear to see Jon in this scenario.
One last thing: I like how Smirke pleads Jonah Magnus, thinking: “I assume you’re still a normal guy and are not trying to kill me”. But, you know, the previous MAGs made it pretty clear that Jonah Magnus is kind of a bitch. So, who knows? Maybe he really asked The Eye to kill Smirke.
This makes me curious about what happened to Jonah Magnus. Did he die?

MAG 139 - Chosen
This statement was a beautiful surprise.
I wasn’t particularly interested in Agnes Montague. My thoughts about her were simple: she was the avatar of the Desolation, she was kinda powerful, and she didn’t seem like a bad person. That’s it.
But this recollection of her “creation” and life was truly interesting.
First of all, she wasn’t a normal avatar. She was birthed with a fire ritual to make her the perfect “vessel” for the Lightless Flame (whose real name, I suppose, is Asag). She was literally crafted to become an avatar.
Knowing that, you would expect she was purely supernatural, the messiah these people wanted: someone above humanity, completely detached from any human want or need.
But what Eugene Vanderstock portrays is the image of a normal human child: Agnes was bratty, like any other kid. She even threw the typical temper tantrums of a baby!
Then she grew up and the supernatural part of her started to shine through: she talked about “the Scoured Earth” (which I suppose would’ve been the ritual for The Desolation) and did some avatar stuff (like the creepy ritual with the candles).
However, since she was still a human kid, she was sent out to interact with other kids - and what better place to do that, if not at Hill Top Road, a stronghold of The Web?
Tumblr media
My question isn’t why Agnes was sent there. My question is: was the Web an idiot to accept the avatar of a Power that has always given them trouble? Or was it given no other choice? Was it an “accept the girl or we will burn the whole place down” sort of ultimatum?
And what happened at Hill Top Road? Eugene talks about “A scar in reality that I believe has since been compounded by the interferences of other Powers.”. What does that mean? What did Gertrude do? I suppose she stopped the ritual somehow and I’m 99% sure she did it, by throwing some shit in it. Maybe the shit was another Power and that made a huge mess?
Whatever that was, it left the Fire gang waiting. And so they waited and waited… and what did manage to stop their plans altogether?
Tumblr media
Let’s all thank Robert Sinclair and his crush on Agnes.
But seriously, this is what makes Agnes’ story even more fascinating.
Agnes was a chosen one. She had a destiny already written for her, she was birthed for one precise purpose. She was supposed to be a messiah, a goddess, detached from what is earthly and material.
But she wasn’t just that. She was human too. And in the end, it was her humanity that took over. Her feelings - no matter if it was affection, doubt or hope. She felt something and that something was enough to not attempt the ritual and die instead.
And she didn’t do it for some supernatural reason, but for the people she cared about. To not let them waste a chance. Until the end, Agnes felt something about others.
What a fascinating character, what an interesting dichotomy. And this makes Jude’s character extremely interesting too! A woman who, like a faithful knight, protects the goddess of their cult - a goddess too might for her, a messiah too high for mere servants like them. And yet, a goddess she loves. A woman she loves. Someone who draws her not just for her role - but for her humanity.
I hope there are great fanfictions about them that explore these contrasting feelings, because I would love to read them.
Tumblr media
Glad to know that Jon isn’t the only Archivist who gets death threats all the time: Gertrude got some too. Being an Archivist: what a wonderful, peaceful job.
Tumblr media
Jon agrees with me: being the Archivist is truly a fantastic job. Either you get threatened all the time by other servants/avatars, or your boss is going to kill you. And killing is the only thing he does well.
While speaking of the others:
Jon likes this new version of Daisy and I like her too: she’s less of a rabid dog and more of a queen and I stan queens.
Helen is still around! It left a door! The Distortion truly wants to work with them! Now, if only Jon would stop being so grumpy and collaborate, it would be very nice.
Awww, Jon’s worried about Martin! But he’s also trying his best to trust him. Buuuuut he’s also the avatar of a magical know-it-all, so of course he wants to Know everything, Peter’s plan included.
And the way he tried to do it was… interesting. It seems like he put a lot of effort and it’s not clear what happened. Did he succeed? Or is he still too weak to read another avatar’s mind? I suppose so.
_______________________________
MAG 140 - The Movement of the Heavens
Okay, so Jon wasn’t too weak to pry Peter Lukas’ mind open: he was just overwhelmed by the amount of knowledge. As he said in the previous MAGs, he drowns if he tries to open that door of infinite knowledge, so that’s basically what happened.
Then Basira throws some interesting shit here:
Tumblr media
And that’s very interesting, because I was wondering how avatars work.
Jude told us that when you die, you get closer to your god but lose your humanity. So it’s implied that you die but also get a longer life. And we already met very old avatars (see Simon Fairchild) living an extremely long life - longer than any human. But we also met avatars who changed their name during the years (Grimaldi).
So I suppose the rule is: same body same name, different body new name.
And that makes me think about Jonah Magnus: he was touched by The Eye and, according to Smirke, he even wanted to “try and wear the Watcher’s Crown”. So I suppose he was a full avatar - or at least, he was trying very hard to become one.
My question is: did he succeed? If he did, is he still alive? Does he still have his name or did he change it? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, we get to see the wondrous first life of Maxwell Rayner / Edmond Halley that consists mostly of:
quality time with the Royal Society + a side dish of dissing John Flamsteed
quality time with the Dark cult in the woods, to look at a black pool
But since he’s also followed by his enemy, who stalks him 24/7, he ends up being killed. Conveniently drowned in that same black pool. And The Dark’s cult decides that, you know what, let’s not waste a fresh corpse and let’s make him an avatar. Legit.
Tumblr media
Oh great, so he didn’t die. I was SO SURE back then that he was still alive, but then they kept repeating he was dead, he died, he was shot, then he disappeared for seasons and I stupidly believed that okay, fine, he was dead.
But nope, he’s not. He’s clearly around, just waiting to find the new body.
By now, the one with the highest count of “dead people who are still dead” is still Elias. Not even the police with all his info managed to do better than him.
And speaking of Elias…
Tumblr media
Ahahaha Jon immediately realized Basira’s “sources” is Elias. After all, who is the only bitch who can send Basira on the other side of the globe, just to get rid of her for a while?
So, regarding The Dark:
The Dark gang will attempt the ritual on the North Pole during the winter solstice in order to get maximum darkness
They have their Black Sun, that “eldritch ball of some sort of manifested dark matter”
They’re currently doing their rehearsal in Ny-Alesund
And you know what that means, when there is a ritual and rehearsals: that the ritual is going to be some sort of ceremony. And how do you stop a ritual/ceremony?
My theory is perfect XD
One last thing:
Tumblr media
Just a confirmation that The Eye is as useless as Elias and that’s why Elias is its embodiment. I suppose Jonah Magnus was too competent, hence why Elias became The Eye’s favourite.

In conclusion
It seems an eternity, since my reaction posts were short and funny ah ah silly story little mysteries, let’s see how it goes.
Now we have tons of info, which leads to me making a ton of screenshots and there's always the 30 images limit per post and I need images, because they help me introduce a new topic or explain my silly theories and I have a ton of questions and I want to know everything, and I love everyone, and I want them all to survive.
Moral of the story is: I’m getting attached. I have my favourites, but I appreciate every character - sometimes, there are even secondary characters who sparks my interest out of the blue (see Agnes)! And the plot gives me all I want, from backstories to foreshadowing. Heck, it’s even making my stupid theories somehow canon! What else can I ask?
For now, only that no one dies in the meantime.

(How about a coffee? ☕)

Ok ok I just had an Absolute Idea
So it's a bad dad Bruce ok
And Jason is dating someone (Bruce thinks they're civilian, if they are or not is up to you)
But like he'd def show up as batman to warn them away from Jason, and he's justifying it as not wanting a civilian to be hurt. But in reality anytime Jason has a meaningful/healthy/even slightly normal relationship (that could lead to him drastically decreasing his rouge activity in the long run!) Bruce interferes and it's actually causing Jason serious hurt. Which increases Jason's emotionally fueled crime sprees. But Bruce sees it as saving someone from a murderous crime lord, and Jason is clearly being worse in frustration over losing someone he can have control over. (Bruce can you not see your own reflection or what bc that's what YOU do, not what Jason's ever done). If Jason knows about this I wonder if he thinks Bruce sees him as Willis. Like his idea of being replaced by a high society version of robin wasn't enough, now Bruce is assuming he's going to abuse his partners because blood doesn't mean anything unless you're street trash.
But this latest partner, when warned, laughed in Batman's face? Clearly they don't understand.... But then they tell batman "if I didn't know I could beat him, I would never have asked him out". And if they secretly aren't a civilian, they are telling the complete truth. But Bruce being Bruce, especially if comics Bruce would try to beat up said partner. To make sure if they were actually capable, which would make them a threat, of course. Bc comics Bruce has in some issues actively done harm to Jason, even orchestrating his certain death if he tries to do anything bat/crime related. But he won't do that to joker???
Anyways I want this paramour to soundly beat batman and handing him off to whoever will actively humiliate him the most while not killing him bc they don't want the rest of the bats after them. But it's like Harley, who Knows, so she unmasks him and does a livestream with Bruce Wayne tied to a chair telling embarrassing stories from college. Harvey dent shows up to help with more stories.
I just want Bruce being fucking owned
Just Bruce being taken out by some random ass character is great!
Bad dad Bruce does seem like the controlling type to micromanage his childrens' relationships (especially if he doesn't trust them). There's levels to this type of emotional abuse, control, and manipulation. In this AU, I hope Harley and Harvey humiliate the shit out of Bruce for that. Fuck him.
I also feel for Jason and wish him all the happiness he can obtain. He deserves a caring, thoughtful, and present partner who cherishes him. Just a supportive person to make him laugh and reassure him.

Rewatching 8x05 for writing reasons, which is just a brilliant episode, despite any reasons some might have to hate it, valid or invalid. Miguel Sapochnik is directing and you see his talent and epicness in every shot (that man deserves a freaking Emmy already, I said what I said) but also there are so many things being shown here that if you muted the episode after Daenerys makes her decision, during the battle scene, you would be able to tell exactly what each character is thinking and what's really going on in the story besides the surface action.
Which brings me to that one scene that a lot of people said the woman being attacked as a stand-in for Sansa in the episode for Jon. They are correct and here's how.
Jon is walking through the melee, only coming to life to defend himself when Lannister soldiers are trying to attack him. The Northerners aren't listening to him, they're attacking innocent civilians, Grey Worm is on a killing spree, Davos is trying to help people get away from the bloodshed, Dany is burning the city, Tyrion is off somewhere horrified, Cersei is watching in terror from the Red Keep... But during this scene, the sound is muted to a point where the sounds of battle happening all around Jon sound very far away. We're now seeing what Jon sees, we're in his shock fugue with him. We see on his left civilians, namely women, being brutalized by soldiers -> he keeps walking. We on his right a woman being knocked down to the ground while a child is watching in horror, blood spatter and bodies all around her (and obviously traumatized & also in danger herself since no one is left to protect her) -> he keeps walking. He then sees a Lanniser soldier telling people to run, something his soldiers should be doing (and something he himself should be doing like Davos) but he's not. While the sounds are still muted, Jon notices another Lannister soldier about to rush him and he goes into autopilot & fights the soldier off. He then looks around in horror.
This is not what he signed up for and he almost looks lost, like he doesn't know what to do. Then the sound comes back fully and he hears a scream. In all of the melee, chaos, and death around him, he hears this one woman above the rest and turns to see her being dragged into an alley to presumably be assaulted by one of his own men.
Sure enough, she's about to be and she is trying to crawl away when the man catches her again. Jon ends up saving her, threatening to run his sword through the man. When the latter tries to fight him off to go back to assault this woman, Jon kills him and tells the woman to hide.
So how is this woman standing in for Sansa besides the obvious?
Two ways.
1) Ramsay was the former Warden of the North, the former bastard of Roose Bolton who was a Northerner who "served" Robb Stark, the first King in the North, before betraying him to the Lannisters. The soldier Jon faces off with is a Northerner and is supposed to be under Jon's command as Warden of the North and the former second King in the North.
2) Sansa is who stirs Jon into action when he feels lost.
Every.
Tumblr media
Time.
Tumblr media
And the parallels between the gif above with Dany and the dagger to the Northern soldier that had Jon's sword run through him, and Jon's staring almost sadly at the man, realizing he had to kill one of his own are far from being coincidental.
Not only was this a precursor to what would occur in 8x06 (and why Jon would make the decision he did) but it also is symbolic of the dynamic between Jon and Sansa as a whole. She's the one who stirs him into action, no matter how terrified or traumatized or angry he might be in that moment (like the shock fugue). No matter how lost he might feel. She gives him direction and dare I say a purpose when he has none (after his death; after the WW are defeated & Dany has gone into tyrant mode).
No wonder we weren't allowed to see Sansa's (or Arya's) reaction to the news of his being a Targaryen.
No wonder Jon told Melisandre not to bring him back if he lost the Battle of the Bastards (after Sansa told him if he lost, she wouldn't be going back to Ramsay alive).
No wonder Jon was not happy with Sansa on the dock in 8x06.
She's always stirred him into action when he doesn't want to be or know how to do it himself (after his death).
He passed a woman he could have saved.
He passed a child he could have helped.
He saw someone on the other side helping and doing the right thing.
The only time he steps in to help someone else is the woman about to be assaulted.
(x) "You are the shield that guards the realms of men. You've always tried to do the right thing. No matter the cost. You've tried to protect people. Who's the greatest threat to the people now?" (no reaction)
Tumblr media
"Do you think I'm the last man she'll execute? Who is more dangerous than the rightful heir to the Iron Throne?" (no reaction)
Tumblr media
"And your sisters? Do you see them bending the knee?" (a little bit of a reaction)
Tumblr media
"Why do you think Sansa told me the truth about you? Because she doesn't want Dany to be queen." (more of a reaction)
Tumblr media
"No, but you do. And you have to choose now." (he hesitatingly goes to confront Dany and then 🗡️)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's not just about her being his "sister" or because she's Lady Stark or family or because they were the last two Starks once upon a time. She literally stirs him into action and gives him purpose. Her pushing to go back to Winterfell led to him caring about the WW invasion again. Her being the one he chooses to protect ended a tyrant and changed history, leading for her to become the first Queen in the North and regain Northern Independence, where she can be forever safe.
It was always Sansa for him, starting in 6x04.

So, about that fic idea of time traveller/serial killer JJ...
I'm toying with plot ideas.
1. Who would end up on her kill list?
Hastings, Askari and Doyle are the one that would take priority in S6. There are also the ones that JJ would feel the most justified to kill.
Izzy, the bank robbers and the other guy (forgot his name) in Hit/Run would definitely anger her so much that she could decide to preemptively get rid of them before they attack the bank in Washington. Not only she almost lost Will (the guy got shot and almost blown up twice), her son was taken hostage and she had to violently fight in front of him in their home. Her maternal instincts might push her to kill Izzy at the very least. Especially if she had already murdered three people in cold blood before that.
I'd need to rewatch the show, especially seasons 6 to 8 to see who could be on her kill list, but there's another name that come to mind: Diane Turner, the woman that stalked and killed Maeve. JJ had seen how devastated Spence had been after Meave's death, so of course she would do everything to save her and give them the opportunity to date.
The replicator is also someone that could be on the list. After all he tried to kill them all and succeeded with Strauss. I don't think JJ liked Strauss that much, even after she got sober, but the section chief is still "one of them". She also saw what Strauss' death did on Rossi, and for that only the replicator deserves to be on the list. He might not be her easiest target though.
2. About the cases:
With the amount of cases she worked on for over a decade, I think it would be hard for her to remember and keep track of it all. I'm sure she'd try to use the Intel she remembers to help with the case and save more victims, but the load of work that would come from trying to PREVENT all these crimes from happening is way to much for a single person.
Maybe there's some cases that sticked to her though, maybe she could focus on these ones if she wants to prevent them. But she can't save everyone and I'm sure it'd impact her mood severely to realise that.
I think she has a notebook written in code where she put every nugget of informations she can remember, along with ideas of how to approach each situation.
3. The butterfly effect.
Each time she changes something, kills someone that would have lived in the original time line, it has unpredictable repercussions. After a while, it would be hard to predict for JJ what would happen then. And sure, saving people's life is good. But there's no way to predict if someone else isn't going to hurt the person JJ just saved. Or just create an chain of events that would ends in tears and pain. It think at some point JJ would be overwhelmed by it all.
4. Lying to the team.
We know JJ is a great liar. Probably the best liar in the team. Her teammates failed countless times to see through her lies. But no one is perfect, especially with the amount of lies JJ would need to keep track of. I'm not sure yet how she would react from the worried and/or suspicious stares from her teammates. She'd be in a lot of pressure, that's for sure, so maybe she might slip at some point. And when you're surrounded by profiler, that can be a fatal mistake.
5. Her pregnancy.
If she killed Askari and Hastings before her humvee was blown and she miscarried, she probably would have given birth to that child. Her pregnancy and taking care of a newborn would impact the story and her ability to keep going with her mission.
6. Romance.
Sorry, I needed to put that here.
I'm quite flexible on who I ship JJ with. I'm a die-hard jemily shipper, I'll admit, but I think Will is okay even if he's not perfect.
I don't like writing Will as a bad guy, but that doesn't mean I can't write them breaking up for some reasons (JJ's odd behaviour since she arrived in the past and went on a killing spree might damage her marriage.) So that's a possibility, I guess.
But I also love the idea of polyamory. Though I'm already going that route in the fic I'm currently writing so I might want to try something else.
I could just not focus on a ship. Not every fic needs to be shippy. After all, the main interest of this fic is JJ, her psychology, the way she interacts with everyone in her life. There'd also be a huge chunk focusing on motherhood since she'd be pregnant.
Thinking about it, JJ being aromantic is something I haven't explored yet. That could be fun to write.
I haven't decided what I gonna do in that department yet.
7. How it'll end.
Or more exactly, what tone do I want to give to that story?
I mean, it'll probably be dark. But do I want a happy ending for JJ?
Even if she feels justified, what she does is morally blackish grey. That plus the weight of the lies and the amount of work that double life would require would be enough to burn her out. Once she stepped into the darkness it would be a downward spiral.
On the other hand, I like the idea of girlboss JJ being a successful charitable hitman/vigilante. I want her to have a little Deadpool vibe (sans sexual jokes and 4th wall breaking). I want her to find a confortable place where she's okay with what she's doing, even if it requires unsavoury methods.
Regardless of her state of mind, should the story end badly for her? Would her teammates find out about her? Would they arrest her? Would she escape? Would she be killed?
Or would she thrive in her new side work and remain undetected by her fellow profilers?
Would she stay at the BAU, considering she had become an unsub herself?
Do I want a happy ending? A sad one? A bittersweet one?
Thanks for reading through my musings.
If you have ideas or want to discuss that story, feel free to leave a comment/reblog and comment/send me an ask.

HAAAAAAAIIII!!1!!!1!
I am Luci Luck :3 (my main is @luciluck2046 ), and this is my murder drones account.
I can draw art requests for free, but I can't promise I'll accept the offer since I can't draw a LOT of things. If you want me to draw something not murder drones related GO TO MY MAIN AND DM ME THERE. THIS IS A PURELY MD ACCOUNT. You can give me requests through asks & DMing me.
Artsy is the one spying and helping me to write fics. She deserves some recognition. @artsycrow2046.
I have several MD AUs. The ones with pink names have fanfics. The one with red names, don't. Each one of the AUs that have a Masterpost have it linked.
-Glowing Future AU(Also my main AU): An AU looking at the events after Episode 8. It's both traumatizing and sweet. Ships: NUzi, Dizzy, OilRose, Khori
-No Mercy AU: My second au ever made, it's a pretty sad one and I still haven't finished the story. Basically Doll takes control of Uzi and uses her to kill every Disassembly Drone/Affiliated Drone. But damn, here the rule "no happy endings" IS NO HAPPY ENDINGS (I just gotta edit the chapter and yet I'm still procrastinating)
-Golden Future AU: A parallel to my main AU. Just different ships. Ships: NUziV, Dizzy, Jessa, Khori. I am rarely talking about it.
NOTE! No Mercy and Golden Future are just separate versions of Glowing Future. If I talk about Glowing Future I am usually talking about all of the versions. Otherwise I'll mention the difference.
-DroneTale: Some kind of crossover between Murder Drones and Undertale. Ships: NUzi, Vizzy, Jessa, NorYeva.
-Shopping Spree AU: A world where drones are friends with humans. Copper 9 is Copper's biggest shopping center/mall. Everything is shop tied, very easy going. Ships: NUziV, Khori. I am rarely talking about it.
-Flesh&Sins AU: Human MD AU. It's a little bit different than canon, going from the beginning with a different main ship! Ships: VUzi, NorYeva, Dizzy
-Disassembly Rewired AU: Swap AU, I haven't ever mentioned its existence. Ships: NUziVJ. I am rarely talking about it.
Also here I'll link my Murder Drones yapping that's unrelated to any of my AUs.
-Uzi's animal representation

Part 10 : My First Love
<< Previous ...... Next >>
"This is…" You said in both awe & rage, "This is what I'm looking for."
You're in fury that none of the archives in Tokyo High holds this knowledge. Then again, if it falls in the wrong hands, then it'll all be pointless.
"This is not going to be easy," you muttered in frustration as you read through the files that you can find about the prison realm & Ryomen Sukuna, "I'm gonna kill Geto the second I find him."
"That's all there is," Maki said as she dusted her hands, "I hope you were able to find it."
"Yes I did. But it's not going be easy," You hissed, "Fuck!" You slammed your fists on the table.
You calmed yourself down as you recalled the information that you got. "Let's go, Maki."
And if possible, Shibuya was totally unrecognizable.
"The fuck happened here?" You exclaimed as you approached Shoko.
"Where the fuck have you been?!" Shoko shouted & this is the first time you have ever heard your friend raised her voice in temper. Of course anybody would be in this state, given the conditions.
"Sorry, Shoko. I had to find a way to break the seal," You explained, "Walk me through it, Muta."
"Takaba is fighting Geto now & Yuta is finding the right timing to kill him," Muta explained, "Megumi… was taken over by Sukuna."
"I can neutralize Sukuna once Gojo is out, but we need to get him here first or else he is going to rampage all over Shibuya," you said.
"I have to face that farce-Geto myself," you stated, but Shoko & Muta were trying to stop you, "I know Kenjaku is IN there, but Geto… Suguru is also in there… somewhere."
"No, you can't! Think of all the efforts of the other sorcerers, if Yuta fails to kill Geto, then by all means, back him up. But if he doesn't, then don't do anything!" Muta countered & it brought you back to your senses because he is right, You can't waste the efforts of others.
"Shoko, if Yuta succeeds, put Suguru to peace, will you?" You mumbled weakly, "He's my ex, I can't forgive him for what he started, but he's still our Suguru."
"You know I will, Y/N," she answered, wrapping her arm around you.
You grounded yourself, leaving Muta to work. You looked around & saw Inumaki & Nanami being tended to. Inumaki almost lost an arm as you were seconds from grabbing him away from Sukuna's domain. You only found Nanami by chnace & thank goodness you did because the man is already exhausted. He deserves a break. You'd personally sponsor his ticket to Malaysia after all this is over.
You are hoping that Kugisaki will survive, thankful that Todo & his team mate found her.
Meimei & Ui Ui are back, along with Utahime. You don't know where the rest are, but you need to lay out your plan.
And that you did, however it was disrupted by Muta.
"Y/N sensei! Yuta needs back up!"
Up on your feet, you wasted no time. Ui Ui understood & transported you to where Yuta & Geto were fighting.
You came face to face with the man you used to love. But this is not the man you fell in love with. He died & Kenjaku defiled his body by taking over his entire being. You feel your insides churn in pure disgust as the man before you smiled sweetly, but not the same smile you fell in love with. It was evil & sinister.
"I'm sorry sensei!" Yuta shouted in remorse, "I had to drag you in here!"
You recalled what was written in the book. Bodies that were taken over have memories.
"Yuta," you whispered, "Order Rika to attack me, then you'll get another chance. Don't waste it."
"But sensei-"
"Just fucking do as I say," you said in gritted teeth, hoping that the books were right.
"Remember our training, keep your eyes locked," you said calmly.
"On the enemy," Yuta finished, his voice trembling as he order Rika to attack you.
And right on the spot, you saw Geto's body lauching towards you, not to harm you, but to protect you.
You watched his face warp in confusion as you cowered your head down his chest as quick as you could, seconds later you felt hot liquid drip on your shoulders, you knew that your instincts were right. You knew that Yuta succeeded.
"Sensei…"
You held on to Suguru's body, to the love that you once had, to the friendship that you cherished, to the memories that you have shared. To your first love.
And finally, he can rest.
A/N : i dunno how I came up with this. Sorry if it was all over the place or filled with loopholes cause I was just drabbling & drabbling until I got here.

Okay no I've got it. I've said all along Durge and Orin's places could so easily be swapped, that the only difference was that Durge got the chance to start over fresh away from their muder cult, and that I want to be able to spare Orin, damn it. But now I've figured out how to make it work.
Durge and Orin fight in single combat at the altar of Bhaal. (Orin gets a second phase of her fight where she's herself, because she deserves a more satisfying boss fight and also to not just have Bhaal wipe her mind when you try to talk to her about her abusive backstory, jesus fucking christ that was nasty.)
Durge disarms Orin, gets her too injured to fight back, is the clear winner of this fight... and throws their weapon away, because they're not going to kill for Bhaal again. They're not going to continue the cycle of violence they and orin have been stuck in since birth.
Bhaal, of course, kills them for rejecting their birthright. And kills Orin for good measure; she failed, she's not worthy of him, this whole generation is a fuck up and he's better off starting over again elsewhere with a new generation of murder babies who'll actually be competent at this.
And as in the game, Withers comes in, resurrects Durge, tells them Bhaal could only kill the part of them that he knew, but they've changed and grown so much since the nautiloid, and Withers brought back everything that Bhaal didn't know.
Durge asks him--begs him probably, but damnit if Larian's resolving their plot with a huge deus ex machina then so can I--to bring Orin back too.
Except Orin didn't have those last few months free of Bhaal's influence. Everything she's ever done is tied up in trying to please Bhaal. When Withers brings her back, at Durge's request somewhere outside the temple, she's waking up covered in blood, nerfed back down to level one, and with no memory of anything except her name.
And the chance to start over fresh away from the murder cult. Orin can make her own decisions from there. Maybe she'll become the person she was before, maybe she'll be worse than ever, and a new party of adventurers will have to take her down to stop a new killing spree in a few years time. But maybe she'll change, and grow, the way Durge did. Maybe she'll become someone better. Whatever she does, she deserves to have a chance.
