Dulce<3 Main outfit variations ft I wanted to dress her as a prince so I did. borrowing sketches from my Cinderella illustrations, and even dug up an old sketch so she can have her denim jacket!

for quick reference, the career each of Celia n co wanted to be and were working towards before uh. Life HappenedTM

Celia: most likely would have done manual laborer, potentially woodworking or construction. in truth? fashion designer, working with textiles to create clothes of all types, experimenting and drawing inspiration from the people around her. she is in charge of clothing, letting out and adjusting and adding flare.

Tesoro: artist, specifically he wanted to be an art teacher, helping kids nurture their talent & find joy in creation

Conficcare: Nurse. he did end up getting some of his training, but he wanted to open a local clinic to serve the community. he saw the lack of care & compassion medical professionals often had towards people in poverty, especially users and addicts, and wanted to chance that.

Elena: Artist. she got her dream, but is sucked that she had to leave to get it. She wishes she could have opened her own studio and fund other artists. possibly work in fashion and clothing design w Celia

Cecio: public defender/defense lawyer. get a scholarship, pass the bar, then use it to help people suffering the criminalization of poverty. he would have had to take on rich clients to fund his other cases, but he would be careful with who he defended.

Rametto: he didn't really have a dream, knowing he wouldn't have a chance to make it come true, but he would join Cecio as a lawyer, using his sharp mind to help. in truth he would join Celia in clothing and fashion, more on the design and wearing than making.

Dulce: again, didn't get much opportunity, but i feel like she would have had a subject at school she was really good at and could have got a great scholarship to study, but was forced to give it up. when shes a bit more developed ill come back and specify

"Count your days," is what Dulce is thinking. She WANTS to kill him, but she still feels a little bad for breaking his heart... and she's trying to be in her character development arc! Also, she kind of got herself into this mess.. What's a girl to do in this situation???? Okay, okay. Y'know what? We're overcomplicating things. In response, we have to be well-mannered and considerate. There is a certain image we have to maintain. Dulce will make a video calmly explaining the truth and bring out the receipts. After all, her cookbook wasn't made overnight. There are drafts of her ideas everywhere on her computer and she backed everything up in other places. This'll be easy to handle! Piece of cake.

Note: I'm kind of exploring different genres with each generation, at least the first three. Generation 1 was more slice-of-life (besides the social commentary on money, power, etc.). Generation 2 is going to be much more telenovela-esque 😅 So if things get a little outlandish, it's supposed to be like that.

I also researched a lot for certain things that are coming up, but I'm just one person so maybe it's not 100% perfect 😭 I don't have an editing team and I'm a very inexperienced writer. Sooooo yeahhh, let's get this next part started!

Happy Nutcracker Season! Here's my piece for this year's art challenge, run by the ravishing @artsynoova. Designing ball attire for Auran and Loraine was so much fun. These two haven't been to a ball in a while, I think they've forgotten some of their etiquette. ^^''' But that's fine, this is an event surrounded by friends, it's okay to let loose. Dulce Vetro! Conficcare and Rametto's older half sister, as well as something of a glimpse at an alternate path that Celia's story could have taken. [tiny text & more info is in plain text under the read more]

Name taken from the poem & latin phrase "Dulce et Decorum est Pro patria mori"- although in her case she is told that it is sweet and honorable/fitting to 'die' for her family. this death is metaphorical, a death of self as her duty of care to her siblings consumes her identity and life. Vetro- 'Glass' is her mothers name, and thus the family name, however Conficcare & Rametto both reject this and use Conficcare as a last name.

Her stand, Blank Expression, furthers this 'death', as its power is draining emotions, leaving the person its used on apathetic and numb, although its offensive capabilities are mostly unknown as it is almost exclusively used on Dulce herself. It leaves pale blue markings behind after use, reminiscent of an eight petaled oxeye daisy, each petal symbolizing a member of her family.

Dulce Vetro is Conficcare & Ramettos older sister, left behind to raise their younger siblings while the two became breadwinners. She was the first daughter and was named in accordance with what was expected of her, Vetro being their mothers name that her brothers abandoned.

BLANK EXPRESSION, her stand, drains emotions like a leach, and is mostly used on herself. it leaves a mark similar to an 8 petaled daisy

Each petal stands for one of her family members: their mother; her two older brothers; her; Conficcare and then Rametto; and the two youngest. of this family, only her and the two youngest could truly be considered family, as their mother is neglectful, the two older brothers ran off to a better life, Conficcare distanced himself due to their mothers homophobia, and then to earn the family money, and eventually he took Rametto with him. only the two youngest stayed, and they are Dulces to raise and care for.
