Sun Dominant Themes — 𝐍𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (part 1) 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟔
Understanding why planets exalt in certain nakshatras, and houses, will give you an even better foundation for all nakshatra lords. For example, Venus loves being in Revati because this is where it can be unrestricted and as flourishing in its themes as it desires to be, since Revati is peak freedom and transcendence; Ketu loves being in Jyestha because this Scorpio nakshatra continuously releases so much heat which allows Ketu to function at its highest level; and Sun is its best version when it is in Ashwini, because this Aries nakshatra allows the Sun to be as hyper-independent and selfish as it desires to be, and Ashwini being co-ruled by Ketu helps one attract resources to further advance oneself — a theme I am seeing in all the Sun nakshatras.
The symbol of Krittika nakshatra is a sharp knife, and its deity is the fire god, Agni. This emphasizes the heat in Krittika which is connected to its transformative nature. This is seen in the refinement of blades, where the beginning stages involve forging – the process of heating and shaping of the metal – and then heat treating. Resources are used with precision in Krittika, anything unnecessary being cut away as resources are channelled with focus so that one rises to the top. The ruling deity of Uttara Phalguni nakshatra is Aryaman, the guardian of social contracts and hospitality. Aryaman is a solar deity, giving more emphasis to the life-giving heat and brightness of this Sun nakshatra. With Uttara Phalguni, resources are built and sustained through agreements, partnerships and community. Creating mutual connections and valuing generosity will lead to later pleasures, as this nakshatra is symbolized by the back legs of a cot and the word Uttara in Sanskrit can mean "latter," "subsequent," or "final." Uttara Ashada is ruled by the Vishwadevas, the universal gods, this indicating the superior, hyper-independence and highly resourceful nature of this nakshatra. This enables mastery in resource mobilization and strategic planning.

Uttara Ashada Sun Orlando Bloom portrays the character Will Turner in Pirates of the Carribean, who starts out as an accomplished blacksmith by trade – his fantastic swordsmanship a product of his work with tangible resources like metal and tools, demonstrating his ability to make effective use of his environment.
The agency of the self and one's independence is due to the aftermath of the Ugra nakshatras having purged away impurities, propelling Sun nakshatras to focus on one's inner solar light to align with their material plane. This is interestingly explored in films through the so-called "American Dream".

The "American Dream" refers to the belief that anyone, regardless of their socio-economic status and background, can achieve their dreams and make a better life for themselves in a society where upward mobility is accessible to all. The core ideals of this belief are explored in the film The Pursuit of Happyness, starring Uttara Phalguni Sun Will Smith who plays a struggling salesman rising from poverty to attaining professional success as a stockbroker — his character being driven by persistent effort, ambition, and belief in upward mobility.

The theme of the human spirit's resilience in the pursuit of personal dreams is also seen in the film Forrest Gump, starring Uttara Phalguni ASC Tom Hanks who plays a low IQ man who goes through many challenges and still never gave up on his dreams.
Sun nakshatras are more commonly associated with strong themes of ambition, leadership and success.

Aja Naomi King has Uttara Ashada Sun and Uttara Phalguni Moon, making her a dominant fire rashi native. She portrays the character Michaela Pratt in How To Get Away With Murder. She is a young woman who is an ambitious overachiever, possessing an intense fire in her and is relentless in chasing after her goals with focused determination.
The character Paris Geller from Gilmore Girls, portrayed by Uttara Ashada Moon native Liza Weil, is known for her relentless ambition, being an aggressive perfectionist, and possessing a fear of failure which mirrors Michaela Pratt’s personality, often the cause of her clashing with others.

Sun natives are able to sacrifice and delay gratification for their goals. The elephant tusk of Uttara Ashada represents enduring strength, the nakshatra also being in the first section of the Capricorn rashi (Saturn supporting themes of endurance and delays). Uttara Phalguni's symbol is a bed or hammock, which represents the rest after hard work and generosity, completing the journey from Purva Phalguni in this final stage. And Krittika being the blade, or razor, signifies it as a cutting force able to slice through obstacles, fuelled by a desire to execute excellence.

Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood exemplifies the darker, more ruthless and capitalistic side of this "American Dream" — operating more Ketuvian as he is portrayed by Ashwini Moon native Daniel Day Lewis, drawing parallels with Ashwini Moon Christian Bale in American Psycho (further emphasizing why the Sun exalts in Ashwini, as Ashwini possesses this pure, ungovernable and all-consuming masculine energy which can become self-building).

The book Oil! follows the son of an independent oilman who initially idolizes his father's rise to power which has a rags-to-riches quality to it. The book highlights the nefarious strategies that oilmen employ through the main character's sympathy towards the underdog people (oilfield workers), a solar theme which will support further points I'll be touching on. But this corruption of the self from accumulating so much intoxicating power is definitely the darker side of Sun nakshatras.
The character Plainview uses oil as a lucrative resource and leverages it to build his empire, also coming from humble beginnings. He embodies this 'self-made', hyper-independent archetype in which hard work highlights one's determination and ability to turn opportunities into wealth. But the writer of the film, and the author of the novel Oil!, shine light on the emptiness and loneliness of this accumulation.

In the story, The Great Gatsby, the character Jay Gatsby initially comes from a poor background, and he meets a high-status woman who he falls in love with. She becomes one of the reasons for his drive, shaping his desire to escape poverty and become successful.

Uttara Phalguni's ability to outwardly evolve to positions of power and have access to things which are symbolic of pleasure and luxury emphasizes the inward radiance and resilience they possess to overcome challenges.
There is a Solar archetype which possesses a type of independence and a resourcefulness that doesn't translate into dominance, but rather into strictly following one's own path of righteousness — remaining strong willed no matter the people one is surrounded by. And there is a level of generosity and duty to this archetype, as Surya, the Hindu Sun god, embodies Dharma (which is related to duty, righteousness and upholding truth).

Will Turner fully embodies this archetype. Even when he's surrounded by pirates, and learns of his familial background of piracy, he stubbornly sticks to what he believes is right. His character has consistently been a strong moral compass in the franchise, upholding righteousness and truth — pointing to the higher leadership and moral integrity important in Uttara Ashada, as this nakshatra is ruled by the Vishwadevas, who are believed to reward those who follow moral principles and righteous paths.
Being burdened with so much duty, Surya (the Sun god) has to endure distant relationships with his close familial bonds. Will Turner mirrors this exactly, his duty as the Captain of the Flying Dutchman (a powerful evolution of his character as he initially started as a humble blacksmith) binds him to a duty higher than his mortal life. Because of this, he could only see his son and wife every once a decade, much like how Surya cannot be close to his sons and spouses.
A lot of sacrifices that they endure include cutting away human attachments, although this archetype is moreso explored from the hyper-independent lens in Claire Nakti's Sun Dominant Men video, as they voluntarily become absent fathers/deadbeats from their inherent selfishness — very much opposing the ideals of many Sun gods, but a correct negative manifestation nonetheless.
All Sun gods support this solar archetype of justice, leadership and source of nourishment. Helio, in Greek mythology, personifies the Sun, bringing light to the world, also regarded as the god of sight. Surya is a source of vitality and justice. Ran, the Egyptian Sun god, serves as a great protector, encompassing intense sun rays which ward off evil.
Characters which embody this protective, superior force are often played by Ketu and Sun nakshatra natives (and as Ketu nakshatras are seen as dominant forces in nature, we see how Sun nakshatras adapt in isolation, and become dominant as well, using tools and resources to remain resilient). Claire Nakti already explored this with Mula's connection to Hercules, while I connect the nakshatra Uttara Ashada to characters such as Robin Hood & Tarzan. Just as the Sun gods symbolize a life-giving energy which keeps stability in the universe, George of the Jungle and Tarzan are characters who both protect the jungle and its inhabitants from poachers and other humans with bad intentions — their presence alone warding off evil. Both characters serve as guardians to ensure harmony in the jungle.

The elephant tusk (of Uttara Ashada) often signifies, in many cultures, the protection of wildlife, especially from those who want to exploit and dominate nature. It also symbolizes a tool for survival, and it is associated with higher stature and power. This theme of one being the source of life and resources is seen in Robin Hood, a character which has Uttara Ashada influence. Robin Hood is known for safeguarding the well-being of his community, ensuring that their nourishment and dignity is preserved as he distributes wealth from the rich to the poor.

The bridge between Purva Ashada and Uttara Ashada could be represented by the purpose of Sagittarius — the archer aiming straight for victory. Uttara Ashada can be the release of the arrow, the culmination of focus to execute the final victory, as its stars lie close and pointing to the Galactic Center (signifying the bullseye). Uttara Ashada carries the final stage of the archer's triumph, embodying this legacy after the swift release of the arrow.

Much like Tarzan and George, Robin Hood lives in nature. Sun makes one completely self-sufficient, free from societal and religious roots which holds one back from finding their true essence. And the forest or woods represent a place one can explore their true selves and burn away what's false. The dominance of the Sun is seen in these characters' ability to comfortably live in such a place full of hidden threats like wild animals, bandits, or poachers. While for Ketu this theme signifies their huntress and taming power over the wild, for Sun it signifies their radical freedom and adaptability. Living in the forest, Robin Hood represents the figure of the outsider.

In the 2011 film Red Riding Hood, the character Peter is a woodcutter who embodies the archetype of the lone wolf. He is portrayed by Krittika Moon & Uttara Ashada ASC native Shiloh Fernandez. He knows the forest very well, and is often associated with the pure, wild aspects of it. He is very much like George of the Jungle, in that his love interest is also played by a Magha native, which I found this Sun-Ketu association very interesting.
His free nature and rough exterior (representative of his authenticity, making him a misfit in society) is what misleads the viewers into thinking that he is the werewolf that's been killing the townsfolk, but the truly animalistic and consuming force of the story is the character played by Ashwini Moon Billy Burke.
This lone wolf archetype supports their ability in being resourceful within their surroundings, often seen in survival stories in which the Solar native is stranded and is literally isolated from civilization.

Blue Lagoon (1980) is a survival film about two children living on an island after a shipwreck. Krittika Moon Christopher Atkins plays Richard, who becomes deeply attuned to the rhythms of the island, learning how to make use of the natural resources for their survival.
In the film Mad Max: Fury Road, Uttara Phalguni Sun Tom Hardy embodies this lone wolf archetype through the character Max. The story has a hyper-patriarchal system which is built around the hoarding of resources and exploitation of others. Max is completely removed from this society, prioritizing his own survival and maintaining his autonomy above all else.

His detachment makes him representative of someone who can solely rely on their resourcefulness and sharp instincts. This film is great as it stars two Phalguni natives; the character Furiosa being portrayed by likely Purva Phalguni ASC native Charlize Theron. Her warriorship is based around seeking a better future for the feminine, which is marked by love and autonomy.

Furiosa, being Venus and an Ugra nakshatra, represents the fight for liberation and happiness, particularly on the freedom of Immortan Joe’s enslaved women, and her own freedom from such a restrictive society unfit for the feminine. The women's rejection of the patriarchy mirrors Max’s independence outside the system. Initially, he aligns with her merely out of necessity as she and the wives possess resources beneficial for his survival. But he treats them as equals, recognizing their autonomy and agency. Max's collaboration with them emphasizes Uttara Phalguni’s purpose of creating alliances and partnerships for higher purposes, supporting the journey that started from Purva Phalguni nakshatra.
After aiding Furiosa, Max returns to his hyper-independent lifestyle; burning the attachments he formed with the women, and returning to his path that is away from the society.
This ability to survive by oneself, to reshape one's environment, mobilizing resources even in barren circumstances, is a theme for Sun nakshatras — further exaggerating this lone wolf, mysterious archetype (as seen with Max in Mad Max: Fury Road and Peter in Red Riding Hood).

The Sun is the natural giver of light and energy, but it does not receive light in return. Solar natives, often being so self-sufficient, give to others but rarely lean on them for much support. The character Elliot Alderson from Mr. Robot is a hacker, his final achievement towards the end of the series making him a modern day Robin Hood. His mission to expose corruption and empower the oppressed is akin to the Sun being a source of illumination, Krittika especially being known to cut away illusion. He is played by Krittika Sun Rami Malek.
Elliot remains emotionally isolated, as he has noticed that anyone who gets too close to him burns in the end — very similar to how the Sun god, Surya, burns and shines too brightly that his wife, Samjna, runs away from him. Elliot's solitary nature makes him feel extreme loneliness, but he maintains a distance from others, his hyper-independence stemming from his traumatic past and his mistrust of others.
There's a genre of film which explores the cause of such imbalanced independence, much like how Max's reason for burning attachments being due to trauma and previous lose. Christmas Carol movies often have Sun natives casted in them, portraying characters that possess a level of misanthropy and selfishness which drive them into further isolation.
The famous character, Ebenezer Scrooge, is a miserly, bitter, and cold-hearted old man who despises Christmas as it is associated with things of generosity and happiness. His name has literally become synonymous with selfishness, cynicism, greed and a lack of compassion. Ebenezer leads a solitary life, being estranged from family and detached from community due to his cold demeanour and focus on material gain. A Christmas Carol is a tale of Scrooge's redemption through three spirits, who highlight moments of lost joy, compassion, and the choices that led to his current misery and his future lonely funeral.

After his epiphanies, thanks to the spirits who took him on a journey of rediscovery, his redemption is seen when he wakes up on Christmas morning being transformed into a generous, joyful person — helping the community and reconnecting with his family. His renewed sense of compassion from being such a mean, wicked old man could be interpreted as the Sun burning away negativity to rekindle the warmth and generosity that the Scrooge has repossessed within himself. This tale is retold in the 2008 Barbie in a Christmas Carol, in which the character Eden Starling is a glamourous singer who is extremely self-centered and arrogant. She does not believe in Christmas and even refuses her employees from celebrating it.
She is voiced by Uttara Phalguni Sun and Uttara Ashada Moon native Morwenna Banks. Much like the timeless festive tale, three ghosts visit her on Christmas Eve, taking her on a journey through her Past, Present and Future. This leading her to have epiphanies regarding how much of her light had been dimmed and how lonely her future will be. These scrooge characters were once so brilliant and bright, but their inner light became eclipsed by bitterness, lose, or regret, leading to a life devoid of merriness — and being cold and frosty towards others.
Life’s challenges, such as betrayal, lose or disillusionment, leads these solar natives to retreat into isolation and despair. In the film Jingle Jangle, the character Jeronicus is a vibrant inventor, radiating so much brilliance and inspiring those around him.

Though not as cruel as Scrooge was, his arc still mirrors the Christmas Carol tale, in that his light becomes renewed. His young and redeemed older self both embody the festive spirit and joy of Christmas, acting as conduits for the magic, wonder, and generosity for the season.
The transformative journeys of these solar characters also extend to the Grinch, from the 2000 film How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the character portrayed by Uttara Ashada Sun native Jim Carrey. The tale was originally created by Uttara Phalguni Moon native Dr Seuss, first published in 1955.
The Grinch absolutely despises Christmas, much like Scrooge, being deeply consumed by resentment and envy while he isolates himself from the joyous Whoville community. His redemption is seen in him integrating himself into the community with newfound warmth, after experiencing an epiphany through a little girl’s unwavering joy and forgiveness. He returns the gifts he has stolen, realizing that Christmas is about love, not material possessions.
There are solar symbolisms in Christmas traditions, besides the gift-giving and festive feasting. These traditions can be traced back to ancient winter solstice celebrations, which made the symbolic rebirth of the sun, as the daylight hours began to increase after the winter solstice.

In 2018's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, the character Clara, portrayed by Krittika ASC Mackenzie Foy, experiences a journey which can be symbolic of the winter solstice. The story begins with Clara in a dark emotional space following the death of her mother, this darkness being much like the world descending into the longest night at the winter solstice. But Clara seeks the key to her mother’s gift, which signifies as a source of life, fertility, and illumination that unlocks potential — the gift quite literally being a golden egg. Clara and her companion must retrieve the key and restore harmony to the unstable magical land. This theme of restoration, new hope, and redemption in a lot of these scrooge films, is symbolic to the Sun’s rebirth during the solstice — the return of life.
The practice of illuminating the Christmas tree with lights and ornaments mirrors the Sun's return, symbolizing a brighter future with the coming year. The infectious joy and generous acts during this festive season reflect the gratitude for the life-sustaining force that the Sun is, and the light for new hope it represents, as it promises abundance for the year ahead. The twin deities of Ashwini nakshatra are associated with rejuvenation, new beginnings, and vitality; this resonates with solar qualities, further explaining why Sun feels naturally at home in Ashwini. The Ashwini Kumaras are divine healers who bring restoration and renewal, just as the Sun sustains all living beings with its energy.
The character Robin Hood, much like the Sun, is a symbol of hope for the downtrodden, fighting off the darkness of evil and corruption. He sustains the spirit of his people by redistributing wealth and restoring their faith in justice, consistently being a force of resistance. The Sun serves as a profound symbol of redemption, perfectly embodying the cycle of renewal and the promise of transformation on earth. Its daily rise eliminates darkness, rejuvenating life and reinstituting balance in nature after its lengthy absence. Sun illuminates the paths which signify growth, healing, and change. The very pure symbolism of the Sun makes it an enduring metaphor for hope, forgiveness, and the power to provide. Robin Hood's actions literally restore the imbalance, which was created by corruption and darkness, giving the poor a chance to continue building their lives. Robin Hood stands as a symbol of light against injustice, signifying a timeless reminder that even in the face of darkness, renewal and justice are always within reach. The character Elliot Alderson is also the perfect representation of this, for anyone who has watched Mr. Robot (the only series I'd happily recommend to anyone — it's very dark though).
Merry belated Christmas! 🎄

Hello! Can I ask about what nakshatras or placements make someone athletic?
Athletic Nakshatras:
🏅 Ashwini & Bharani - The nakshatras of Aries. Especially Ashwini it is associated with sports and physical activity.
🏅 Vishaka - Ambitious. Competitive.
🏅 Krittika - Leadership. Management. Strategic.
🏅 Pushya - Ruled by Saturn. Disciplined.
🏅 Uttara Phalguni - Collaborative could help in team sports.
🏅 Swati - Innovative. Independent. This isn’t directly connected to sports but often athletes have entrepreneurial pursuits outside (or after) their sports career. Thus, it can appear in their charts.
🏅 Ashadha, Mula, Uttara Ashadha. The nakshatras of Sagittarius.
These are a few I’ve seen reoccur in athletes charts (Lewis Hamilton, Lebron, Kobe, Shaq, Beckham, Simone Biles). Accuracy would be influenced by the entire chart.

Punarvasu Nakshatra, often called the "Return of the Light," symbolizes a transformative phase that follows the tumultuous and destructive energies associated with Ardra Nakshatra. While Ardra represents chaos and upheaval, Punarvasu embodies the restoration of hope and positivity, acting as a balm for the emotional and psychological scars left in the aftermath of Ardra's cleansing.
Characterized by its nurturing qualities, Punarvasu encourages individuals to rebuild and realign their lives toward a path of growth and renewal. This Nakshatra promotes resilience, emphasizing the importance of overcoming adversity and fostering a sense of optimism. As it guides followers back onto a constructive path, Punarvasu highlights the cyclical nature of experience, where darkness ultimately gives way to light, reaffirming the profound belief in recovery and rejuvenation.
In this sense, Punarvasu serves as both a beacon of hope and a reminder of the enduring strength inherent in the human spirit.

𝓣𝓪𝔂𝓵𝓸𝓻 𝓢𝔀𝓲𝓯𝓽'𝓼 𝓟𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼 ? //𝒱𝑒𝒹𝒾𝒸 𝒶𝓈𝓉𝓇𝑜𝓁𝑜𝑔𝓎 𝒶𝓃𝒶𝓁𝓎𝓈𝒾𝓈 🪷
Hey ♡ ! I'd been stuck on what to write about for a while, but I felt drawn to doing an analysis on Taylor Swift.
As always, I have no interest in forcing others to use the Ayanamsa I use or anything like that, I just love being able to share my thoughts & observations :)
Taylor Swift being Mula Sun rather than Jyeshta Sun in Mid-Mula Galactic Center Ayanamsa made a loottt of sense to me, and in this post I'm going to talk about that & her other major chart placements. I hope whoever reads this enjoys/learns something new :) 🩷
I'll note that I am by no means a Taylor Swift expert, I don't really listen to Taylor but I do find her interesting and really appreciate what she has done for the culture as an artist!
Let's get into it-

𝒯𝒶𝓎𝓁𝑜𝓇'𝓈 𝐹𝓊𝓁𝓁 𝑀𝑜𝑜𝓃 𝒞𝒽𝒶𝓇𝓉 🌕
First of all, this makes Taylor Swift a full moon child (Mula 🌞, Ardra 🌙).
Obviously not every Full Moon child will end up Taylor Swift level famous, but being born on a Full Moon gives a certain 'luminosity' to the person and the life they are leading. In a Full Moon chart, you'll find that the moon's placement in the chart is especially emphasised energetically, perhaps even seemingly 'outshining' the Sun at times (we marvel at the Full Moon, but the Sun shines the same every day).
Not only this, but it's also that Full Moon charts give the native an Earth sign (not commonly used in nor Vedic or Tropical astrology, see my post on Earth signs here) that is the same as their Moon sign. Earth is always 180° opposite the Sun, so if the Moon is opposite the Sun as it is on a Full Moon, 'Earth' is conjunct Moon.
Full Moon natives tend to be very likeable to to the masses. They possess a polarity- and that polarity makes them NOT overly polarising. I mean, they are polarising in the way the exuberant shine of the Full Moon is, but they are not as likely to have very strong opinions or ideals one way or the other and are somewhat balanced since they deeply understand & live in two contrasting worlds. Full Moon babies tend to come across mostly pleasant and well-rounded, yet magnetic and powerful like the Full Moon.
New Moon babies can be more likely to be polarising because they are embodying one energy so strongly and adamantly with no energetic association with dual energies (unless they do have the opposing sign somewhere else in the chart).
I definitely think Taylor being born on a Full Moon really accentuates her Ardra Moon's influence, which is why her Sun's influence sometimes feels almost a little overshadowed. The associations with fame, illusion, 'trends', etc. we see in the realm of Rahu Nakshatras very much overwhelms her image & identity. She possesses the ethereal, soft quality we often see in Rahu Nakshatras (and Saturn Nakshatras, which I'll talk about later). Taylor's Mula Sun is still very much there and a huge part of her identity as you'll further see.

𝑀𝓊𝓁𝒶 + 𝑀𝑜𝓃𝑒𝓎𝓎/𝐵𝒾𝓁𝓁𝒾𝑜𝓃𝒶𝒾𝓇𝑒 𝒮𝓉𝒶𝓉𝓊𝓈
Honestly I never quite understood Taylor Swift being Jyeshta. I always keep an open mind for the wide range of ways Nakshatras can manifest, but she really lacks the intensity we usually see with Jyeshta. The sharp tongue, the overt emotional intensity, the playful Mercurial sexuality, not to mention wheree are the Jyeshta owl-esque/occult inspired energies? *not to knock her songwriting or suggest it isn't intense or emotionally intense enough, but she has been known for being consistently very 'vanilla' in her disposition emotionally, artistically, etc which is part of her wide-spread and consistent appeal as an artist. Jyeshta energy can feel very much emotionally like a loose cannon, very explosive & potentially contorversial
Of course, depending on the rest of the chart; not every Jyeshta native will be directly interested in dark topics or the esoteric (or necessarily sexual), but you'll notice almost all prominent Jyeshta women have something in their look & persona that gives an aura of mystery or 'witchiness'- or overt seductiveness/taboo. We don't see this kinda energy with Taylor. This is not to say Taylor has no sex appeal or something like that but it's more that her image generally is not associated with sex appeal/scandal in the way we often see with Jyeshta and other Mercurial women). If you know Jyeshta's mythology with Lord Indra and his uh- scandals, you know what I'm getting at here.
(Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Niki Minaj are just a few Jyeshta natives we see in the media who in part are known for the way their seductive qualities meld into their art/image & bring about controversy/make them come across less family friendly).

When I saw Taylor is Mula Sun in Mid-Mula Galactic Center; it clicked... A lot of people attribute Taylor's billionaire status to Jyeshta, but here's the thing. While Jyeshta can absolutely signify growing incredibly rich and successful by means of sheer independence and the raw 'hustle', Mula & Ketu nakshatras in general can also signify extreme, absurd levels of wealth.
Jyeshta & Mula are both manifestations of Alakshmi and can both yield similar results pertaining to extreme loss & extreme gains.
We often see Jyeshta natives really struggling to get to the top, all alone with a complete lack of nourishment and support. Or, being in a situation where they are the 'black sheep'. Now, we can only judge Taylor's internal life to an extent, but from what is publicly known, she was very well supported by her father in getting into the industry and has been consistently backed up and invested in by others in order to be in her position. She's come from pre-existing wealth into more wealth; which you'll see as we go on can be a very Ketuvian theme.
Of course, Ketu represents the void; so people often associate it with poverty and having nothing. Especially Mula, it's deity being Niriti, Goddess of Destruction. However, sometimes the 'void', is like a void of wealth where this person just magnetises money. An endless depositor for others' wealth. Another popular figure who is extremely wealthy; Donald Trump, is taken to be a Jyeshta native but is Mula in Mid-Mula Galactic Center. There is a reason the word 'moola' is slang for money 💸
With the Goddess Niriti, it is said that in her most 'exalted state', she is blonde, wearing a gold outfit & sitting on a golden throne. Not only does this hint to Mula's connection to wealth, but this explains how Ketuvians; particularly Mula sometimes gives very light hair & features though it more famously gives very dark features.
Ketu natives can embody the archetype of being a little tone deaf/unaware socially, especially when it comes to money/class in the case that they are born into it. 'Daddy's money' sort of vibe. I have no gripe with Taylor about this personally. Everyone is born into different circumstances and that's okay- however a lot of people do accuse her of being tone deaf in this way.
𝒦𝑒𝓉𝓊𝓋𝒾𝒶𝓃 𝒢𝒾𝓇𝓁𝓈 𝒷𝑒𝒾𝓃𝑔 '𝒷𝑜𝑜𝓀𝒾𝓈𝒽'
It's been talked about in the Vedic astrology community how Ketu influence can give women a 'bookish' quality... sort of innocent and lost in her books, a little 'nerdy' and perceptive, socially retreated/introverted. While Rahu is a bit more loose, free 'off with the fairies'; Ketu is uptight, down to Earth, controlled.
Taylor embodies both, being Ardra Moon & Mula Sun. I definitely feel like this more innocent, 'nerdy' image is a big part of Taylor's brand and appeal. Yes, she is beautiful, but she's got this sweet image of being somehow a little quirky, relatable, down to earth, quiet, etc. despite the reality of her lifestyle of mass fame & wealth.
With Taylor, we observe a similar persona to what we see with figures such as Emma Watson (Mula Moon). Both are known to be 'good girls' in a media landscape where being a 'bad example' is more popular. Both emanate this energy to the public of being sweet and to themself, once again very down to earth despite the wealth and lifestyle they have. Interestingly, I've definitely noticed even in real life too that Ketu Nakshatras lovee their big, warm, dark coats. Perhaps it feels like they're all safe and cozy in 'the void' lol.

𝒯𝒶𝓎𝓁𝑜𝓇'𝓈 𝒜𝓇𝓉𝒾𝓈𝓉𝒾𝒸 𝐼𝓃𝒻𝓁𝓊𝑒𝓃𝒸𝑒𝓈 + 𝑜𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝒸𝑜𝓃𝓃𝑒𝒸𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃𝓈
In her early days (I don't know much about Taylor Swift offhand, but I be doing my due research for this post lol), Taylor talks about one of her inspirations being country artist, LeAnn Rimes (Mula Moon, Magha Sun).

In one of Taylor's very early demo mixtapes from when she was young, she covered LeAnn's song, 'One Way Ticket'. It's also worth noting that she covers Dolly Parton who is Magha Moon, Ketu in Mula; so another Ketu native. (ETA- this post inspired me to go down a rabbit hole and I discovered a strong pattern of Ketu influenced women in country music!)
As touched on earlier, we can see the pattern of Ketu natives and their very light features- we talk a lot about Ketu giving dark, intense features which can be true; but it can also swing the opposite way and give very light features. Either way, genetically Ketuvians pull from an extreme.
Taylor does have Ardra Moon of course, and Rahu can also contribute to light features but I do think Rahu similarly to Ketu (its counterpart), can pull from either significantly light or dark genetics.

It's no surprise to me that Ketu nakshatras have a connection to country music, seeing as Ketu tends to represent a more 'stripped down', raw element of reality as opposed to the vibrance & stimulatory qualities of Rahu.
I can definitely see Taylor's grapple between embodying Mula's very authentic, down to Earth energy & Ardra's sparkly, controversial, stormy energy.. A part of her enjoys sticking to her roots and romanticising Ketuvian simplicity & rawness, but a part of her wants to and does play into Rahu's energy of embodying the 'popstar' image.
Another interesting connection- I always thought Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne looked (mildly) similar. Decided to check it out- Taylor & Avril Lavigne performed 'Complicated' together in 2021. Avril Lavigne has Mars in Mula ruling her chart (Avril is Chitra Ascendant in Mid-Mula Galactic Center- which makes a world more sense than Hasta)

// Side note- Michelle Tratchenberg, Chitra Sun & Avril Lavigne lol
𝑀𝓊𝓁𝒶 = 𝑅𝑜𝑜𝓉𝓈
Mula's major translation & association, is to the word/symbol 'root(s)'. Mula's purpose is related to getting to the core, to the deepest truth of a situation and directly relates to trees and their roots reaching deep into the earth. Especially in Taylor's Folklore/Evermore era, we are seeing a lot of this tree & root symbolism. The big coat in true Ketuvian style, lots of black and white (Ketu natives loovee black and white imagery). Come to think of it, this reminds me of how in country music (we earlier noted how country music has significant connections with Ketu) features a lot of songs about trying to find the truth of a crime, of a husband cheating, etc.
From one of Taylor's songs, 'no body, no crime':
Este's a friend of mine We meet up every Tuesday night for dinner and a glass of wine Este's been losing sleep Her husband's acting different and it smells like infidelity
'And I noticed when I passed his house his truck has got some brand new tires And his mistress moved in Sleeps in Este's bed and everything No, there ain't no doubt Somebody's gotta catch him out'
I think this song is one of my favourites I've heard from her! I love the slight edge to it 🥀 it does also feel it's tapping into her Sidereal (and Tropical actually??) Scorpio rising.

I was shook when I came across Taylor's song & music video, 'Out of the Woods'. As if the name isn't Mula enough (the woods, trees, trying to find the truth/clarity in darkness), the music video is like a perfect, beautiful artistic accumulation of her Mula Moon & Ardra Sun. The beautiful pastel blue dress, the magical sparkles, the wolves & the storm is all Ardra/Rahuvian related symbolism, but then we have the roots coming out of the Earth almost threatening to grab her, the trees, etc.
(apologies for the low brightness images, it's a very visually dark, cinematic style video).
youtube
I've noticed many pieces of art/literature, etc. where Mula natives are threatened to be consumed by the literal roots of the Earth-
Emma Watson, Mula Moon as Hermione being taken over by the 'Devil's Snare' The Rock, Mula Moon in the movie 'Jungle Cruise' being consumed by the roots of the earth

𝒯𝒶𝓎𝓁𝑜𝓇'𝓈 𝒜𝓃𝓊𝓇𝒶𝒹𝒽𝒶 𝒜𝓈𝒸𝑒𝓃𝒹𝒶𝓃𝓉
Now, the very only thing that confused me about Taylor not being Jyeshta Sun, was that she always did appear very deer-like to me (Jyeshta being the deer yoni). Her most widely accepted birth time (5:17am) puts Taylor as Vishakha ascendant in Lahiri.
If we consider that this would mean she shares an ascendant with slightly edgier/offbeat personalities such as Lana Del Rey, Melanie Martinez, or Marina Diamandis and that Vishakha is considered an 'outcast' Nakshatra, this doesn't make much sense for Taylor. Not to say that Taylor hasn't ever endured feeling left out or anything like that, but she is known to have a very 'clean', palatable and widely appreciated image that has contributed to her major popularity.
However in Mid-Mula Galactic Center, Taylor Swift is Anuradha ascendant, hence the deer-like appearance as Anuradha is the other deer-yoni Nakshatra. Being a Saturnian ascendant explains Taylor's clean, controlled more 'responsible' image. She also has the very symmetrical face & slim, taller build that is typical of Saturnian Nakshatras. Also, a very strong cupids bow that is typical of Saturn influence!
Model Emily Ratajkowski known for her naturally slim build, Uttabhadrapada Moon & Taylor, Anuradha Ascendant
Similarly to Rahuvian Nakshatras, Saturnian Nakshatras are known to give an ethereal, angelic appearance and demeanour at times.
This also means that Taylor is both a Sidereal & Tropical Scorpio rising. I noticed people speculating that she may not be a Scorpio rising and moreso fits having a Capricorn rising since she is very 'proper' and methodical like Capricorn. I believe this is because people's main association with Scorpio rising is pulling from Swati & Vishakha energies, since only a very small portion of Anuradha falls into Tropical Scorpio.
Anuradha is a Nakshatra associated with a certain tenderness, a softness- especially being not only the deer yoni, but the female deer yoni (the doe). Anuradha Nakshatra is often considered a Nakshatra related to love & the trials and tribulations that it takes to find the one you love or to make a relationship work.
Due to the mythology (Vedic Gods Varuna & Mitra, (Anuradha's deity) both loving the same woman), Anuradha natives can often live through love triangle situations. Taylor has a trilogy of songs in her album 'Folklore' named 'Teenage Love Triangle' detailing a love triangle between two boys and a girl told from each person's perspective.
Most of Taylor's songs are about love in general and especially in earlier days when she was newer to the scene, they were regarded as somewhat 'mushy' and overdone, but there were many who appreciated the vulnerability on the topic of love in her songs.
One more thing I'd touch on in relation to her Anuradha ascendant, is the way that Taylor Swift has a strong audience of people, often young girls who are Christian or otherwise religious. Saturn can definitely relate to religion in itself, but it's also that the Saturnian 'straight', good girl image makes Taylor very palatable and non-controversial to idolise for those who adhere to very religious lifestyles/have parents who impose it upon them.
However, it is Taylor's Ardra Moon (and perhaps her Mars in the 1st) that does add a wild-child, slightly more flashy and risque element to Taylor's demeanour. As mentioned in the beginning of this write up, having a Full Moon & embodying both elements of a polarity helps her to be universally liked. I definitely think that Taylor's Mula Sun & Anuradha ascendant are how she manages to come across and be perceived as very once again, very down to earth, relatable and almost 'quaint' despite being one of the biggest stars we know of this in this time era.
EDITED TO ADD- I just wanted to note that Taylor has Ketu in Ashlesha ruling her Mula Sun, which explains some of her Mercurial qualities, penchant for writing, etc. As an artist & a Ketuvian, Ketu is going to naturally be a very prominent placement for her.
Also, I think this absolutely gorgeous early picture of Taylor holding the flower in the water is very Anuradha. One of Anuradha's symbols is the lotus flower, symbolising purity & stability amongst chaos/adversity, and external impurities. Yes, she is holding a flower but I love it because it's like in this image, she IS the lotus! 🤍

Angelina is Revati Moon and Christopher has Sun in Revati. Revati natives have a heart-shaped, defined lip line and protruding "fishy" eyes (just look at them, they're mesmerizing)
Source: Claire Nakti (check out her TikTok and YouTube)
They also share the Rohini Nakshatra (Angelina has her Sun in Rohini and Christopher has his Saturn in Rohini)
Rohini natives have wide-set eyes, distinctive eye look, short and strong jawline.
We don't know Christopher Walken's Lagna but maybe someone can guess it? Let me know 🤔

I need to say Claire Nakti was so on point on her video about Saturn nakshatra men. My uncle is Anuradha sun and rising and he is antivax, a hippie, an anarchist, lives in nature far from the city, and he only has one neighbor where he lives. He told me that when he was young he had problems with the police because of PRANKS he made in public, like throwing water and fruit peels at people, threatening his neighbors with killing them over the phone, calling designing companies and asking for dirty designs, spitting on people's heads from his balcony, and even shooting people (not with a real gun lol). One day he made his school close for a day or more by blocking the school door locks with construction materials, and he even encouraged me to do the same while I'm young, so I planned on doing that my whole life but never did. 💀 He is such a believer in the power of mantras and words and he painted a lot of Buddhist images that I have at home. But the most shocking thing is that I'm a witness of one time that he said with a really intense voice: "I wish that guy's wall would fall for being so dirty and a bad father, I'm gonna fucking throw his wall with a rope". (The guy was his neighbor and I don't even remember why he hated that wall lol, but there was a reason) and I kid you not, after less than 2 hours, we heard a noise, AND the morning after, we saw that wall COLLAPSED. It was one of the most unbelievable things as a 7 year old and I get tears in my eyes when I remember it. I won't ever forget about that time and how after it happened he told me that words and intentions are powerful, and I can use them to get the things that I want. I was a kid but i didn't forget anything about spending holidays with him because of all of this. He was definitely a problematic and intense person tho, my mom couldn't stand him, but talking to him is fun.

Astrology Observation Pt.3
⚡️People with Mars in Cancer will for real have a very high sex drive. It will get more if Jupiter or Sun is with it or Mars is in 5th, 9th or 10th house (Fire placements and Mars) as Mars is drive and being in cancer makes is debilitated and out of control.🔥
⚡️People with Venus in 9th house will be attracted to their partner's intelligence (specially for men) as Venus rules wife/female and 9th house is higher mind (9th house also rules thighs by the way, iykyk)🧠🦵
⚡️People with Saturn in 12th house are mostly on the mental bridge of wanting to be alone and wanting to be with someone, they are on poles and people around them will always be on pedestal regarding it as 12th house is isolation ruled by Jupiter(Vedic) and Saturn is restriction and they due to being equally strong always clash.🎭
⚡️Mars in Capricorn, despite of being petite or small will always have pockets of energy in them, they will do all the things that need physical or mental stamina and won't feel tired, you might look at them and won't believe it but they are energy beings due to Mars being Exalted.💥
⚡️Rahu (North Node) in 10th house will give a person recognition from an early age...recognition as prizes in schools, competitions or anything. They might have a stack of trophies in their cupboard as 10th house is recognition and Rahu is the extreme want.🏆🏅
⚡️Mercury in 8th house will be a person who will have the inherent ability to psychoanalyse things, even from an early age they will be able to know many perspectives and will be very good at analysis. Its an indicator of an intelligent mind as scorpio influenced 8th house provides enough space for Mercury to act itself.🧠
⚡️Sun in 7th house borrow their personality from their partner, they generally have very influential partner and they will have bits of or sometimes whole personality of their partner.👫
🦚💐🌬🪵
So yeah, that's all for today, ik i was MIA for so long but yeah i am probably back...ig😅, and will come up with more innovative ways and methods of astro very soon🫶🏻. So up until then stay in touch and let me know how y'all are doing and what's new...thank you so much loves...ilysm🩷🩷🩷

Your Beauty Based On Your Nakshatras 🍒
*DISCLAIMER- This is my first observations post about the nakshatras so please bear with me! i know there is some discourse about these types of posts in the astrology community but oh well lol i just wanted to do something fun for my first time. i will make more in depth posts once i deepen my knowledge on it.

Note: This is how I see the Nakshatras other people will see differently and that’s ok!
🥀 Venus Nakshatras (Purva Phalguni, Bharani, Purva Ashadha)
-They seem to have an air of mystery in my opinion. They have the girl next door kind of beauty, think of movies where the guy sees a girl at the airport or on a train and he doesn’t see her ever again but he keeps fantasizing about her. Venusians are the type to captivate someone within one glance. They are also sensual but in a subtle way, they don’t have to do too much to show that side of them because it’s not only based on how they look but the way they talk, walk, and their personality.
Ex. Jasmine Tookes (Purva Phalguni Moon), Adele (Bharani Sun), Alina Baraz (Purva Ashadha Moon)

❤️🔥 Mars Nakshatras (Dhanishta, Chitra, Mrigashira)
-These people are just…SEXY! But honestly what can you expect when it comes to mars. In my opinion it seems like they can’t hide their sexiness it doesn’t matter what they wear or if they wear a lot of makeup or not they will always ooze sex appeal. They are the type to turn heads no matter what room they walk in because that’s how good they look, not only that they seem to have this confidence about them whether you see yourself that way or not others may definitely do! They are always topic of conversation.
Ex. Ana De Armas (Chitra Moon), Megan thee stallion (Dhanishta Sun), Jennifer Lawrence (Mrigashira Moon)

🌙 Moon Nakshatras (Rohini, Hasta, Shravana)
- These women have the popular girl in movies type of beauty, they are usually peoples girl crush. I notice that their physical appearance is often talked about. They appear younger than what they actually are not just physically but their demeanor, personality, and spirit. They may get stared at a lot. I will also like to add that pictures does not do these nakshatras justice at all, they are so beautiful in person similar to the moon!
Ex. Ariana Grande (Hasta Moon), Normani (Rohini Sun), Nina Dobrev (Shravana Moon)

✨Mercury Nakshatras (Ashlesha, Jyeshtha, Revati)
-They are so sultry in a dark feminine type of way. They also have RBF and can appear very intimidating. Many people might assume that mercurials are mean due to the way they look (imo they are pretty nice). They are the kind of girls that you want to talk to but they come off unapproachable so you just admire them from a far lol. I also notice they love playing with makeup looks especially their eye makeup!
Ex. Ryan Destiny (Revati Moon), Alexa Demie (Jyeshtha Sun), Megan Fox (Ashlesha Moon)

🫀Ketu Nakshatras (Magha, Ashwini, Mula)
-Ketu Nakshatras have the dark feminine vibe but more in a melancholic kind of way. Their femininity is more darker than mercurials and often dress in black or darker colors in general. they also have a very unbothered look to them. I notice that these ketuvians can be complex and very misunderstood, you think that you have them figured out but there is WAY more to them than beyond surface level. They have a haunting type of beauty! The kind of women you never forget.
Ex. Kat Dennings (Magha Moon), India Eisley (Ashwini Moon), Amy Winehouse (Mula Moon)

🌞 Sun Nakshatras (Uttara Ashada, Krittika, Uttara Phalguni)
-These hotties are bombshells. They have the ability to light up any room. They also have such a radiant aura as well. They are the "hard to get" hot girl that everyone pines over! They are usually center of attention no matter where they go. I notice that they are charismatic as well and that’s what honestly reels people in the most! In my opinion, they remind me so much of a trophy wife. Their partners love being able to tell people that you guys are married/dating.
Ex. Madelyn Cline (Uttara Phalguni ASC & Moon), Eliza Dushku (Krittika ASC), Naomi Campbell (Uttara Ashada ASC)

⚡️Rahu Nakshatras (Ardra, Swati, Shatabhisha)
-Have you heard of the quote from Scarface “The eyes, Chico. They never lie.”? Well that’s basically these nakshatras. Their eyes can tell stories and they can communicate to others very well with them. Often times they can look pretty sad even when they aren’t. Rahuvians look so dreamy, I can’t explain it, they look so soft but intense at the same time! Honestly, they are the type of girls people write about. Absolutely captivating!
Ex. Brittany Murphy (Swati Moon), Kaya Scodelario (Ardra Moon), Audrey Hepburn (Shatabhisha Moon)

🛸 Saturn Nakshatras (Pushya, Anuradha, Uttara Bhadrapada)
-Otherworldly beauty! If you go outside you won’t see many people that look like them, their beauty cannot be replicated ever and trust me they will try to! These nakshatras were blessed with alluring and unique features. Saturnians look like they came right out of a fantasy film with different beautiful creations that are not of this world. They will also kill it in modeling especially editorial/high fashion they have the type of beauty that the modeling industry goes for.
Ex. Yara Shahidi (Anuradha ASC), Angelina Jolie (Pushya ASC), Halle Bailey (Uttara Bhadrapada Sun)

💋 Jupiter Nakshatras (Punarvasu, Vishakha, Purva Bhadrapada)
-These Nakshatras are MANEATERS! no but seriously they are so seductive! They can give office siren as well. I truly believe they can make anyone get down on their knees for them. Their aura to me is pretty powerful they know exactly how to act to get people (men especially) at their beck and call. I also notice that people lust after them quite often, they could easily use that for their personal gain if they wanted to.
Ex. Penelope Cruz (Punarvasu Moon), Lily Rose Depp (Vishakha ASC), Madison Beer (Purva Bhadrapada Sun)

Yours Truly,
divinefemmexx 🖤

If you want to enhance your seductive energy, try dressing according to your nakshatra color.
Not only will it make you look better, but it may also align with your personality traits and bring you more luck and success.✨

If you don't know the colors of the nakshatras, I have made a table.

Venus Dominant Themes — 𝐍𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (part 2) 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟒
warning⚠️: violent imagery & details, femicide, mentions of cannibalism and rape.
Venus exalting in Pisces signifies Venus' desire of indulgence & excess, as Pisces represents what is extremely vast, otherworldly and boundless, as its ruler, Jupiter, expands whatever it touches — this allowing Venus to be completely unrestrained (to the point of vampirism, even). It's very ironic that Venus nakshatras can express this nature as well, being that they're often associated with exclusivity, restriction and high standards. But then again, it is the attainment of godliness or worthiness that opens these boundless vampiric themes in the first place, which I will be shortly exploring. So, it won't come as a surprise that Venus nakshatras are seen heavily dominating the most violent or cannibalistic films I could find.
The 12th house is symbolic of transcendence and high powers, further amplifying this planet's desire to merge with something beyond the physical, this realization often leading to a kind of violent indulgence or sense of superiority to the point of total corruption.
This very consuming nature of Venus, where one's soul rots from their excess and indulgence, can be seen in the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray, written by Purva Phalguni ASC native Oscar Wilde.

The consequence of hedonism is what Oscar Wilde explores, as we follow the main character of the story who wishes to remain young & beautiful forever, while the portrait of him ages. And as he indulges in a life of excess and debauchery, he soon discovers that the portrait manifests his true moral decay. With Venus nakshatras, you'll see this play of beauty, innocence & youth alongside darkness, corruption & evil.

This particular concept of transformative hidden evils and the corruption of innocence beyond human control can also be studied in The Omen movies, where a young innocent boy, usually by the name Damien, turns out to be the Antichrist. Just like how Dorian Gray is the source of loss and corruption, despite his outer beauty, Damien's presence, though an innocent child, causes chaos and death, particularly highlighting themes of predestination and the inescapable power of evil — as he's played by Bharani natives.

The Omen (1976); Bharani Moon native Harvey Spencer Stephens as the Antichrist, Omen III: The Final Conflict (1981); Purva Phalguni Moon native Sam Neill as the Antichrist, The Omen (2006); Bharani Moon native Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick as the Antichrist, 666: The Child (2006); Bharani Moon native Booboo Stewart as the Antichrist.
Bharani nakshatra, ruled by Lord Yama, embodies cosmic law and necessary destruction through karmic balance. The birth of the Antichrist is significant and inevitable. In these films, the child is literally divinely protected, as anyone who tries to kill him is immediately eliminated by unseen forces. Bharani represents the womb and the tomb, the character embodying this paradox as his birth brings death to humanity's faith — marking the end of innocence and the beginning of darkness & corruption. The Antichrist is literally meant to bring hell on earth, the fires to come merely a symbol of purification instead of senseless chaos.
Generally, it seems that Venusians play sons of the Satan, like in the comedy Little Nicky, or in the thriller, which I mention later, Devil's Advocate.

Children of the Satan is a historic idea, interpreted in the Bible, that reflects the demonization and dehumanization of certain groups, reflecting the discrimination and persecution toward those who are abused. I further touch on this specific pursuit of evil, generally expressed through superiority, later down in this post.
The ones who wield evil, or a predatory kind of power, such as the character Jennifer in the movie Jennifer's Body, can be viewed as symbols of purging flames. After all, all three Venus nakshatras are Ugra nakshatras. The movie plays with the idea that being a corrupted, or “monstrous”, force can make one the instrument of judgment. So, Jennifer's selective killing essentially reflects the discriminatory nature of Venus.
Jennifer Check, played by Purva Ashada ASC Megan Fox, transformed into a predatory creature of a higher power and purpose, being a necessary evil who takes out the weak, the unworthy, and the opposing predatory force — males, who symbolize entitlement, exploitation, and agents of femicide. The Venusian is simply a force of reckoning, behind all of her beauty and seduction. In my Venus Dominant Themes part 1 post, I talked about Venus nakshatras embodying an equalizing, or domineering force of retribution and judgement. Jennifer's Body is this theme at its peak, as she was murdered by the male force as an innocent, so therefore goes on to brutally kill the boys at her high school after becoming demonic — this making her an apex predator in a world where women are always at the bottom of the hierarchy. She now became the punisher, in a sense, as there is justification for her monstrosity.
Purva Ashada is associated with cleansing & purification, connecting to her killing sprees where she devours the impure to restore balance. Bharani represents karmic retribution, acting as an agent of vengeance and justice. Purva Phalguni, on the other hand, represents pleasure, indulgence and beauty leading to one's downfall, as explored in the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray, and the journey in overcoming such temptations.

This is why Purva Phalguni needs Magha, or a strong Ketu force, to balance out its excess and chaotic compulsions. In Jennifer's Body, the main pairing is Ketu x Venus, where Needy is embodying Ketu's reducing force, as she is the only one to eliminate her demonic best friend. I already spoke of Ketu nakshatras being forces of destruction in order to reduce and drain, and Venus nakshatras overlap in this theme of vampirism as well, but they're also boundless and compulsive, which explains this nakshatra lord pairing.
Also, I talked about the compulsive eating and consuming nature in Bharani nakshatra through the character Dre in the series Swarm. There's a scene where Jennifer compulsively eats to satisfy her predatory urges, as her body is in a heat of transformation. Purva Ashada is also influenced by the Pitta dosha (which explains the presence of Venus nakshatras in cannibalistic movies).
Damien, from The Omen, is also another necessary evil, embodying a correction of the existing order. He is merely fulfilling a greater purpose beyond individual morality.
Purva Ashada Sun Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick as Damien.
Like the religious doctrines say, the Antichrist is simply the precursor to the Second Coming, being the reason of a shift where the weak, the unworthy, and the sinners are removed (as, in Purva Ashada, it is the stage of cleansing and washing, however violent and chaotic this purification process goes).
The monstrous-feminine is a genre that is associated with Venus nakshatras, highlighting monstrosity being shaped inside the feminine which expresses rage & desire through themes such as violence, body horror and mortality. This concept essentially rejects traditional femininity, as it symbolizes a consuming power which cannot be contained.
In the movies Ginger Snaps, also starring a Purva Ashada native playing an apex predator, and Jennifer’s Body, the monstrous-feminine takes the form of godly transformation and insatiable hunger.
The character, Ginger, has an important transformation to werewolfism, mirroring the awkwardness in puberty and an intensifying sexual awakening. But much like Jennifer Check, this transformation represents an animalistic, bloodthirsty rage, along with sexual empowerment & female autonomy — making them the ones who sit right on top of the food chain.
Notice Ginger's bird skull necklace. Venus nakshatra characters, who represent a primal force, often decorate themselves with animal jewelries, to further signify this theme of being “king of the jungle”. This aspect of being apex predators relates a lot to hunting, too.
So usually, with these characters being bloodthirsty demons, there's a loss of control, as intense compulsions take over them when they dive more into the violence, which turns them into lethal predators who hunt for sport.
Purva Ashada Moon Katharine Isabelle as Ginger Fitzgerald in Ginger Snaps.
Bharani, Purva Phalguni, Purva Ashada are constellations which are said to be favourable for activities that require violence, force, weapons, confronting enemies, demolishing structures, setting fires, capturing others with force etc. These nakshatras are good for hunting and committing acts of brutality.
Purva Phalguni Sun, ASC Keanu Reeves plays John Wick who is a legendary hitman known as "Baba Yaga". Baba Yaga is a fearsome role in folklore who is an elderly deformed woman living in a hut surrounded by a fence made of human bones or skulls, this title that he has earned in the criminal underworld signifying him as a “king of the jungle” archetype. John Wick is characterized by his ruthless pursuit of vengeance and exceptional killing skills, making him good at hunting other humans to bring them to punishment.

Kraven the Hunter is portrayed by Purva Phalguni ASC native Aaron Taylor Johnson, who is a big-game hunter of people who are criminals, smugglers, mobsters and mercenaries.
Notice the animal claw necklace, signifying his animalistic dominance, just like with Ginger's necklace signifying her predatory power.
Now, the masculine expression of the monstrosity genre through Purva Ashada immediately puts the character Tighten, from the animation Megamind, to mind.
Purva Ashada ASC Jonah Hill voices Tighten, who reflects a fragile, toxic masculinity after attaining higher powers. He possesses brute force, while having extreme rage issues from his sense of entitlement & inability to handle rejection.
Tighten believes he is superior, but due to his immaturity, he's unable to actually wield his power to conquer — as some of these Venusians often do when they put themselves on top of the whole food chain.
Superiority means the exclusivity of others, and Venus naturally represents exclusivity in multiple ways. This also manifests into the hatred or discarding of others when this superiority means to reign dominion.
Although I briefly typed Chris Hemsworth as an Uttara Phalguni Moon native in my Sun Dominant Themes exploration, I do believe he could still possibly be a Purva Phalguni Moon native, as he plays the character Thor, who can summon Mjolnir because he is worthy to, as those who are worthy can be the only ones to. You see this theme of godliness, worthiness, superiority being repeatedly played through these Venus nakshatras, but especially through Purva Phalguni & Purva Ashada, as these are nakshatras which test the ones walking their journey.
Even Natalie Portman, who has Purva Phalguni Moon, becomes Lady Thor, and is one of the exclusive few deemed worthy & superior enough to lift & summon Mjolnir!
But back to superior, non-heroic characters.
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy has been voiced by Bharani Sun native Lance Bass, Purva Ashada Sun native George Newbern, and recently Purva Phalguni Sun & Bharani Moon native Tyler Hoechlin. He is literally driven by a belief in his own superiority and exceptionalism, seeing himself as the rightful ruler of humanity, believing that he is destined to bring about a new world order. Not only does he want to become god, but he seeks to also punish humans as well for vengeance.

As much as Venusians make great supervillains who seek to conquer through dominance, this general theme of their superiority/godliness extends to characters who are written to be good and just. Like Superman, for example.

Often been depicted with strong messianic symbolism, Superman is a superior figure who constantly sacrifices himself for the greater good of humanity, embodying the idea of a benevolent saviour who came from the heavens, not of human but for humanity — being portrayed, usually, as beyond human flaws.
General Zod is one of Superman's most formidable foes, if not the most, as he possesses powers which can level Superman's, making him beyond dangerous once he sets foot on Earth.
Zod is depicted as a ruthless and imposing leader, capable of inspiring both fear & loyalty in his followers, being the superior creature he is. Another thing of superiority is that it causes fear and mass obedience. General Zod is portrayed by Purva Phalguni ASC native Michael Shannon in Man of Steel.
Omni-Man is another character that can level Superman on a power level, although he's from another comic universe altogether. Like Superman, Omni-Man is an extraterrestrial being who possesses godlike strength, flight, and invincibility. He is voiced by Purva Ashada Sun native J. K. Simmons. But unlike Superman, who represents a benevolent god, Omni-Man represents a tyrannical god, wanting to reign dominion rather than co-existing with humanity.
Typical of this discriminatory god-like archetype, he sees humans as weak and expendable, his fatherhood being defined by wanting his son to abandon humanity altogether — as he believes that strength determines worth, justifying his brutality, cruelty and genocidal tendencies.
The pursuit or attainment of godliness inevitably leads to the devaluation of humanity itself, as seen through the Purva Ashada character Omni-Man. His belief that superiority requires shedding humanity and sameness altogether creates a chilling detachment which justifies the brutality and oppression of those deemed insignificant. Being of a species known for god-like superpowers, he prides himself in the very traits that make him dangerous, his massacres and destruction simply a demonstration of dominance. A reminder of how vampiric and gothic the Venus nakshatras can be, on a massive scale, Omni-Man exemplifies how godliness, often defined by superiority from the Venus rulership, ultimately leads to the dehumanization and brutalization of others.
In part 1 of this Venus nakshatra series, I talked about the act of brutality, especially through the feminine, often being provoked in the first place, the feminine being an agent of swift vengeance against their rapists or abusers. But it seems that the act of brutality itself is an appreciated form of art for the masculine, through these Venus nakshatras, especially brutality inflicted on the female body. In these movies, especially from their posters alone, you'll see how Venus men are very particular about torture p*rn and women being the subject of it. Venus nakshatras, especially Bharani, are generally related to extreme, unstomachable, acts of violence.
For example, Martyrs (2008), is a torture p*rn meant to bring pleasure from its excessive, excruciating displays of pain. The grueling, nonstop butchery is thoroughly explored in a long 99 minute runtime which will likely scar viewers for life. This movie was made & directed by the Purva Phalguni Moon native Pascal Laugier. The most violent scene in it is the female protagonist being flayed alive. Notice the poster showing the brutalization of the female form.

On the right is the poster for the torture p*rn movie, The Curse of Doctor Wolffenstein (2015), clearly displaying the victimization of a female. The movie is about a devilish doctor whose limbs rot from drinking a portion that turned him immortal, so he recklessly goes mutilating and murdering villagers to harvest their limbs. Nothing and no one will be safe from him even years after his resurrection. Bharani Sun native Marc Rohnstock created & directed this gore-fest.
Faces of Death (1978) stars Bharani Moon Michael Carr, playing Dr. Francis B. Gröss, who shows a collection of the most gruesome deaths around the world. As the poster says, it has been banned in 46 countries, and it is considered to be one of the most shocking documentaries ever.

Cannibal Holocaust (1980), directed by Bharani Sun director Ruggero Deodato, is banned and heavily censored throughout the world. It is a found footage about a group of filmmakers who experience brutal deaths at the hands of a flesh-eating South American tribe. Another poster of this movie has a woman as the subject of grueling torture (bottom, right).

Bharani Moon native Umberto Lenzi created & directed the cannibalistic torture p*rn movies, Cannibal Ferox and Mangiati Vivi! (Eaten Alive). This discriminatory displays of torture or “punishment” against women in these posters and the excessive violence against women in these horrific visuals, created by Bharani men, makes an indirect connection to Lord Yama, the overseer of the most brutal tortures known to hell, reflecting this nakshatra’s interplay of sexuality, pain, pleasure and even deviancy.

Natural Born Killers (1994), directed by Bharani Moon William Oliver Stone, is about two lovers who go on a murder spree, killing more than 50 people. The story is written by Bharani Moon native Quentin Tarantino. The violence in the movie is used abundantly, and liberally, in the form of graphic murder, beatings, and torture. Bharani Moon native Rob Zombie is a slasher/horror filmmaker whose made many violent, satanic movies such as The Lords of Salem, 3 from Hell, The Devil's Rejects etc. He also made 31 and House of 1000 Corpses which are about surviving against homicidal maniacs and serial killers, which display moments of mayhem, violence and mental torture. Literally as if one is trapped in hell trying to make it out of the parade of maniacal demons, a kind of atmosphere that a Bharani native would be exhilarated to artistically reenact.
Though not Bharani, Purva Phalguni ASC native Aaron Taylor Johnson portrayed a perverted nightmarish character, in Nocturnal Animals, who reigned terror over an innocent family with his gang of degenerates one night, similar to the plot in House of 1000 Corpses in which a couple finds themselves in terror in a home of serial killers.
spoilers!: him, and his gang, brutally rape and murder the wife and daughter, leaving the male unharmed but no doubt traumatized.
Hell is filled with demonic executioners, servants of the Devil, demons, who are agents of torture relishing in misery, turning the torments into parades of cruelty where victims are displayed, mocked, and tormented in front of other suffering souls to intensify their dread. There are different kinds of demons in Naraka (hell), such as the flesh-eaters or those who force sinners to relive their crimes through hallucinations. Not the least bit surprising that Venus nakshatras may also embody such evil, barbaric and even illusory beings.
In Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), the character Scarlet Witch, played by Purva Phalguni ASC native Elizabeth Olsen, was first introduced as a mysterious villain, operating like a demonic agent of chaos, as she puts every Avenger under a spell where they hallucinate their dreadful past or future. There is an obvious relation to black magic with these nakshatras.
Purva Phalguni, being ruled by Bhaga, the god of pleasure and fortune, makes it associated with sensual indulgence, luxury, and excess. The intoxication of pleasure, the escapism into ecstasy which, taken into extremes, can descend into corruption & decadence, highlights Satanic or Luciferian philosophies which emphasize unrestricted desire.
Satanism is about rejecting imposed morality in favour of self-exploration and personal power, both connecting to self-gratification and may even lead to greed. So this nakshatra carries this exact energy, as it defies rules to revel in what the world deems sinful. Gluttony, desire, pride, lust, greed etc.
Even some depictions of hell aren't solely about burning in eternal fire and damnation, but literally being trapped in a never-ending, grotesque cycle of pleasure and consumption which winds up turning into torture itself. This reflects Purva Phalguni’s ability to push indulgence beyond joy, into addiction, self-destruction and pain (as better explored in the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray).
Devil’s Advocate (1997) is a movie which mirrors this shadow side of Purva Phalguni, strongly showcasing excessive pleasure, indulgence, vanity, and the seductive nature of power. It is directed by the Purva Ashada Sun native Taylor Hackford, and it stars Purva Phalguni Sun & ASC native Keanu Reeves, alongside Purva Phalguni ASC native Charlize Theron, who is tempted into sin by the Devil himself, who turns out to be his father.

Keanu Reeves' character basically overcomes these shadow aspects of this nakshatra, rejecting power and temptation to instead embrace integrity, free will and moral responsibilities. This directly reflects the Sun rulership over this nakshatra, which is what it should all come down to. Purva Phalguni is a journey where one's self-control is tested when gifts of true power and opportunities of indulgence come along. Keanu Reeves' character in Devil's Advocate symbolizes the higher, dharmic qualities of the nakshatra. By the end of the movie, unlike Dorian Gray will ever, he chooses real love over false abundance. The native was meant to be challenged in controlling their urges. Being a royal nakshatra, and of solar nature, it thrives on dignity and honour, rather than manipulation and control, as the trap of vanity and self-obsession is supposed to be overcome in this cycle. In my Ketu Dominant Themes part 2 post, I talked about the possible case of self-obsession/self-indulgence in Ketu nakshatras. This gives even more perspective on how Venus nakshatras are supposed to transcend from where the consuming, passive Ketu nakshatras left of.
But it's very interesting that in Hindu and Buddist traditions, hell itself is not an eternal punishment of the fallen, but it is rather the place of cleansing the impure and ungodly. The brutal, immense punishments exist to purify the souls of the corrupt before their rebirth, these tortures assisted by Lord Yama's fierce yamadutas and demons. So this concept can be seen in the duality in the Venus nakshatras, which manifest in the specific way of compulsivity vs self-punishment, falling into pleasure vs liberation, indulgence vs self-restraint (and how one implements high standards for oneself to transcend). Venus, also known as Shukra, was the guru of the Asuras (demons), teaching them how rise, despite being cast aside by divine forces, by giving them knowledge on how to even challenge the gods, highlighting the potential of purification but also of liberation.

Vedic Astrology Observations(Future Spouse Edition)
(For entertainment purposes only. Have fun💚)

[These are my learnings I have learned through charts and from different astrologers. I applied these techniques over over in different charts and it works beautifully.
Though astrology throws up some pretty interesting perspectives, I think it's basically a tool of self-reflection and guidance rather than stating what will definitely happen. I hope you find these insights interesting and relatable!]

★★ Most stable and long lasting marriage indicitaor I have seen in compatibility is if your atmakaraka (the planet with the highest degree) & your spouse's darakarka (the planet with the lowest degree) or vice versa are the same planet.
Ex: Your atmakaraka is Moon and your spouse's darakaraka is Moon or vice versa.
The most famous ones would be Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson (Venus). They have been together for 37 years.
★★ If your dk planet is in Mrigashira nakshatra, your spouse could be sensitive to smells.

★★ Look at you Jupiter's nakshatra lord in navamsa(D9 chart), the sign it is in birth chart ( D1 chart) can be in your husband's big 3.
★★ I have seen a lot of actress 's husband has their Venus in Hasta or Chitra nakshatra.
★★ Again if If your 7th lord or jupitet is in mrigashira nakshatra, your spouse can have scars on their face.
★★ If your dk planet is in your 1st house, your spouse can be a lot like you.

★★ To see if you have past life connection with your spouse, look if your 7th lord or dk planet is in Rahu ruled nakshatras or conjunct Rahu.
★★ If your 7th lord is in 2nd or 8th, your spouse can be very rich.
★★ If you want to know the core nature of your spouse check out the nakshatra of your 7th lord and dk planet in your d9 chart.
★★ Sounds cliche but Ketu in the 7th house of navamsa, you choose him/her as your spouse in every lifetime.

★★ If you are married or in a relationship, check if your Venus is in conjunction or trine with your person's Mars/Rahu or vice versa. It shows you guys were together in past life.
★★ If you have Venus Mars conjunction in your d1 chart, your have past life connection with your spouse.
★★ Venus in Mrigashira nakshtra, your spouse can look like a Deer.
★★ 7th lord in Punarvasu, your spouse is a Phoenix. No one can defeate them, they can push him/her in their edges, they will come back stronger.

★★ Venus in Chitra nakshatra attracts artistic spouse.
★★ Venus or 7th lord in Ashlesa, spouse can have piercing eyes.
★★ If your 7th lord is in 3rd house of d1 or d9 Chart, your spouse can be a good singer, negative planet denotes they can be argumentative.
★★ If the nakshatra lord of your dk planet is in the 8th house of d9 chart, you spouse can be very sexy or get sexualize a lot.

Those of Revati nakshatra are renowned for their gentle and reserved nature. They typically speak softly and prefer to keep a low profile, often avoiding the limelight. These people are remarkably unaffected by pressure, maintaining their composure and inner balance even in the most challenging circumstances. Their demeanor is frequently likened to that of a zen-like tranquility.

Is it just me, or is the manic pixie dream girl trope so solar Nakshatra women-coded?! They bring a fresh breath of air into relationships with their radiant energy, inspire and motivate others, and value their independence and freedom. Most of the actresses in these roles have Sun Nakshatra influence in Vault of the Heavens.
hey! 💕 yeah I definitely see that, for suree, that makes sense a lot of them are Sun dominant! Tbh I don't know many movies and actresses but I think from what I know Zooey Deschanel kinda fits the vibe and she's Uttarashadha? Blake Lively as Serena van der Woodsen sort of fits the trope at times in the show (she's not got Solar Nakshatras, but she's Purvaphalguni + Magha so Sidereal Leo)
I also feel like I can see many different energetic expressions of that vibe too. I think it's a trope that's harder than others to pin down to one planetary influence since the basis of the trope has a lot to do with the way the respective man/other people in general are stereotyping the girl if that makes sense?? Like it's not so much about the girl herself, it's about the whimsy and energy she brings to others around her. I can definitely see this being a Solar thing too though; Solar women do have this effortless luminosity and energy that intrigues people. 🌞
The thing is that the 'manic pixie dream girl' can be anywhere from a more edgy, abrasive, pink hair, wild-child type of girl (I see Jupiterian, nodal, Martian and sometimes even Solar women with this kinda archetype) to a more gentle, whimsical, childlike, 'quaint', sweet but spontaneous personality that forces people to think differently (possibly lunar, mercurial, etc). It's like, the manic-pixie-dream-girl concept isn't about the nature of the girl herself though there are qualities associated with it; it's got more to do with the fact that she IS that character in relation to some guy if you know what I mean?
Maybe it'd also be interesting to look at what planetary type in men is prone to perceiving girls as mpdgs' 🤔
That being said, you're definitely onto something with Solar women; I think it'd be cool for you or anyone who's interested to study the trope and do a lil astrological survey :P 🌼

astro observations #4
- The idea that your north node = fate and destined path doesn’t feel accurate. After all, north node aka rahu is literally illusion and material obsessions and is also considered a malefic in multiple astrological circles. I find it to be more of an indicator of what our fantasies and guilty pleasures may be.
- People with prominent Leo/Aquarius axis tend to focus their astrological study on their personal placements from what I noticed. As they get deeper however, they start to venture into what other placements might be like. But for most part, the focus tends to be on their placements first.
- 7th/8th house placements tend to be the opposite, being very curious to know why people around them, their role models, and others in general act the way they do and therefore using astrology to understand that
- 9th house placements are the ones who study every placement just for the sake of it or out of curiosity, some 3h placements might also
- Taurus + Leo = curly hair
- Taurus placements, especially if aspecting Lilith or mars or coupled with mars ruled placements, tend to be into vampires bc throat (Taurus) and blood and injury (Mars) as well as the seductive/taboo nature of vampires (Lilith)
- 3h Saturn/ 3h in Capricorn might take quite a while to get their drivers license
- What others tend to say about u : 3h from 7h : aka the 9h.
e.g. 9h in Aquarius : people talk about how you’re unique, popular or friends with a lot of people, humanitarian. They might also discuss how you’re eccentric, disconnected or apathetic.
- Whatever houses are ruled by Venus in your chart can give you an idea of how your relationships impact you as well as how you behave when in a relationship.
e.g. Libra risings have Venus ruling their first and eighth house, they tend to have very transformative relationships that end up changing them completely. They might also benefit from personal glow-ups during certain relationships thanks to their partner’s resources. Opposite can be true with weak Venus or malefic influence on the houses of Venus.
- 8h is underrated as an intelligence indicator. That’s the house of research, uncovering mysteries, and finding out the hidden. If one of the most common intelligent tropes -detectives and mad scientists- work within 8h themes, that is for a reason
- 6th house Lilith could indicate suffering from eating disorders.
- I noticed that even people who don’t know anything about astrology (sometimes especially them lol) tend to have markers of their signs all over their online presence. my ardra stellium friend has pearl as his username (ardra is symbolized by the diamonds and jewelry), a lot of shatabisha (especially the men) like wearing bracelets and rings (reminiscent of the empty circle that symbolizes shatabisha) etc.
- 10th house could signify what traits do you have that are different or stand out from ur family. For example, Jupiter in the tenth house could mean different beliefs, maybe a taller build compared to your parents, I also see it as which members of your family do you resemble the most. 10th house Jupiter might look like their grandparents while 10th house sun their dad, and moon their mom etc.
- Saturnian tend to be gatekeepers because Saturn = scarcity and limitations.
- 4h mars/sun could indicate having more close male friends n vice versa for 4h Venus/moon.
- Sun nakshatras and ashwinis look really good when the sun is shining on them. They might be particularly fond of golden hour selfies.
- 11h synastry can indicate starting a business together, whether it’s benefics or malefics will indicate if the business will succeed or not.
- Lacking aspects to the luminaries can mean feeling disconnected from your parents, as if there’s a certain distance between you and them that can’t be bridged. An empty 3h + unaspected 3h lord can also indicate feeling that way towards your siblings.
- A strong Mars + Venus = good dancer. Also prominent dhanista and snake yoni Nakshatras (Rohini, mrigashira).
- Anna Popplewell and Nancy ajram look similar and I found they have quite the similar placements besides both having nodal (Ardra/Mula) and Saturnian (Uttara Bhadra/Anuradha) influence.

Nancy Ajram (Top) : Jupiter in Anuradha, Sun DK in the first Degree, Sun and Mars in Krittika, Ketu in Mula.
Anna Popplewell (Bottom): Venus in Anuradha, Sun DK in the first degree, Jupiter in Krittika, Sun, Mercury, and Saturn in Mula.
this is it for today <3 please don’t hesitate to share if any of this resonates!
