Imagine that Anya gets Damian to come over to her house. Damian is uneasy at first but he comes to really enjoy being with the Forger family. He finds Yor to be such a kind and sweet person and hopes that his mom can always be friends with her. Loid shows actual interest in him and not his father. And while there he’s noticeably nicer to Anya showing that smile he had at the dance with her frequently.

But then it happens. Without an imperial scholar robe on him his father reaches out to him on his own accord, and he gets what he has wanted for so long his father’s attention. But little does he know there’s a nefarious intention to his sudden warmth to him.

I just feel like in an aged up/roommates AU, Damian Desmond would be a morning person and Anya Forger would be absolutely disgusted.

Anya wakes up at the ungodly hour of 7AM only to see a perky and wide awake Damian whistling while he reads some news articles— immediate disgust.

She’s on her way to bed at 6AM and Damian gives her a wide awake good morning and she hisses at him— how dare he?

Like Damian isn’t a chipper person by nature but he’s petty and Anya ate his last pudding cup, so he’s going to be as bright eyed and bushy tailed any chance he gets.

I love how the end of the chapter clarified the duality of Melinda’s feelings for her son. Anya straight up compares her to Yuri at first in how she was worried about him. The abrupt shift only is made apparent AFTER he asks her to not tell Desmond father. It’s also very interesting that once he said that she says sure if you dont tell him i care about you enough to rush and pick you up.

what if i want to write a damianya fanfic about Anya getting isekaied into a adult book about Damian Desmond investigating about his dad that was unjustly arrested and spent more than 10 year locked and Damian, instead of a politician became a mafia-boss-esque and he suddenly reconnects with an old classmate Rebecca "Becky" Blackbell and they sort of fall in love while investigating Donovan Desmond past and the man who put his father in jail - Twilight - but Anya got isekaied 15 years before the said book started, and she has to navigate between being the villain's adopted daughter and being "hated" by the Male Lead and best friend with the Female Lead - that also don't like each other?

Gosh, what a chilling and suspenseful chapter! The rare Desmond family dinner was so, so uncomfortable. Like the tension between the Desmonds is so thick that you can cut it with a knife. The lack of any meaningful conversation between them with the only sounds being the SFX of the tableware just adds to the tense atmosphere.

Damian and Melinda seem to be wary and even slightly afraid of Donovan? While Demetrius was unbothered with things as usual. Donovan’s gaze was haunting and scary which made me froze too. Gah, everything about this chapter was crazy good!!!!

Yeah they appear briefly in Violence's route to do... something I'm sure. My playtesters said they liked their design though, which is good because I'm not used to making designs like that, haha.

I am thinking of making them an extra scene as an update to better explain what the heck they were doing there in the first place.

But good news, all the sprites and CGs for the game are done, so I'm thinking after I finish doing the sfx and music for this route I can actually make the itchio page once and for all.
