Lowkey going insane over Clear All Cathy I don't even want to finish Canto VI cause then all the Mirror World Heathcliffs will lose their Cathys they will lose their sole reason to keep going.
N. Corp. Heathcliff no longer having Cathy is so sad because he used to call out to her in his death line and post-Canto IT'S JUST SILENCE. HE SAYS NOTHING.
Just fucking me up how many worlds exist of Heathcliff ending up someplace miserable and soul-crushing and how having his little ring with her initials carved into it is why he keeps going. And how that was taken away from him! 'Our' Heath remembers her but the other ones don't, they dont' know why they're here, why they're suffering and miserable. What about N. Corp? What about Queecliff?
Hell even if his situation's much better off Sevencliff is sad too. Getting a job as a detective at the Seven Association is such a good outcome for him even if he finds himself overworked and stressed a lot but that's something he could have returned to Wuthering Heights and been proud of! He could have shown off to Cathy how cool his job is solving cases and impressing her with his work! But now what's left? Overworking himself on cases just for the sake of it?
It sucks and I hate it and I want to scream and throw up.
#canto vi spoilers#canto 6 spoilers#limbus company#not even getting into suncliff or rabbitcliff or oomfiecliff ids tho#i get a feeling we'll see the full extent of his misery thru the inevitable erlking/wolf id

waiter more ids please! theres a handful of new ones, all listed on his little document, but ill go over them here too!
Shi Association South Section 5 Kiya - Not very clumsy but prone to not being good at stealth due to his size and being prone to getting into arguments about tactics!
Pequod Second Mate Kiya - This one was literally a joke from a friend (@/alecto-class-nhp-nue) cause I joke about a Vengeance Trio Polycule (kiya, heathcliff, ishmael because their plots ya know) and I was told to swap Yi Sang for Kiya and i went "NOO!!!! YI SANG NEEDS HIS SMILE!" so this exists now also he has a sword made of mermaid teeth. it sings.
Acro Workshop Representative Kiya - This is his Canto ID, mechanical kit also mocked up by the above friend. Humorously, not a bad end ID in the sense of like N-clair or Ahabmael
Edgar Family Butler Kiya - He got put back into the hospitality industry after running away from it. Normally he wears the maid dress, but also he has the punching from the Wuthering Heights Butlers. It's very funny!
Kurokumo Clan Wakashu Kiya - My notes on him is that he refuses to wear the normal dress shirt and wears a sukajan instead and it pisses off everyone else hfjhjhjfjhfj
Liu Association South Section 4 Kiya - The joke here is that he's in the section with all the women!!! And uses a weapon!!! Also that he came to me in my dreams, still so confused about that
Seven Association Kiya - He's not an actual ID but the idea of a Fixer who is here exclusively to cook little tea biscuits is funny to me okay
#limbus company#limbus oc#lcb oc#kiya toriya#grilled oc#grilled art#i should talk about vengeance trio more actually theyre so funny

Limbus talk below.
Are any of these IDs worth uptying? It's difficult deciding what and what not to uptie, especially when thread is so sparse, and there's so many combinations for teams.
Solemn Lament Yi Sang - Likely should, especially since we use him. Just put off due to the high cost, since it is a 000 rarity.
W. Corp Yi Sang - His supports seem good enough, we just don't run charge teams often
My Seven Association - High cost -_- Also, it's a small thing, but I do prefer my nonuptied art for this ID far better... Sighs, but she also uses it frequently. So she supposes if it's worth it.
My Multicrack - Skill 3 and passives all seem good, high cost. Don't use charge much.
Kurokumo Clan Wakashu Ryoshu - Skill 3 and passives seem good, high cost.
Liu Meursault
Dead Rabbits Meursault - Seems fine enough, especially since we often use rupture.
Liu Hong Lu
W Corp Hong Lu
Fanghunt Hong Lu - Seems good to uptie? May do it once we personally reach Canto 7 on our account.
Seven Heathcliff - Skill 3 seems decent enough
R Ishmael - Have heard it's good but honestly it seems shit. Someone justify it to Faust.
Edgar Butler Ishmael - Ishmael wants to. And we use sinking often enough.
W Outis - High cost, don't use charge often
Blade Lineage Salsu Outis
Ring Outis
Zwei Gregor - Have been meaning to, since we use him constantly. Just a high cost...
Liu Gregor
Rosespanner Gregor

I’m sure someone else has arrived at this conclusion first because Limbus Company stuff had been floating around for a while and there was plenty of time to think of it before the game even came out but it’s kinda blowing my mind so here
Each of the Associations in The City are named after a number, each in a different language. #1, Hana, is in Korean; #2, Zwei, is in German; etc.
It just occurred to me that they correspond directly to the order of the Limbus Company sinners.
1, Hana: Korean (Yi Sang) 2, Zwei: German (Faust) 3, Tres: Spanish (Don Quixote) 4, Shi: Japanese (Ryōshū) 5, Cinq: French (Meursault) 6, Liu: Chinese (Hong Lu) 7, Seven: English (Heathcliff) 11, Öufi: Swiss German (Sinclair)
This is absolutely not a coincidence and I wouldn’t be surprised if the remaining associations were named the same way but what does it mean??? What does it-

It seems our fixers were late to the party.
But we shouldn’t waste the dispatch call that’s already been made. Some of them should be able to help in transporting the injured out of the premises, and the other half will be instructed to locate this fox-Heathcliff. He shouldn’t be too far away.
Chicken Wing Detour
I´ll admit, I am not a picky eater, but when the opportunity to taste some juicy wings presented itself, I took it.
Bundling that with a bit of an investigation while present at K Corp. was my own initiative, so I shouldn´t complain, but I will, extensively.
Meeting Seiko of the Shi Association and her girlfriend again so soon was the highlight of this experience. Their expertise allowed us to slip into the underground hideout (not too different from the one I entered with Ryoshu recently) where a number of machines and bodies laid in pieces. Someone had cleared a path through the subterranean maze before us.
Our hopes weren´t high when it came to the missing Shi fixers, but the sounds of combat were enough to spur my companions to move faster. I followed suit, and I am glad that I did, otherwise this report might have ended on a far bleaker note.
We entered a laboratory of sorts, with blueprints, scrap metal and glass haphazardly strewn around. The space was only dimly lit, with majority of the light coming from a shimmering, colorful surface in the back of the room. The scene which it illuminated was nowhere as pleasant to look at.
A towering, muscular figure threw large shadows on the walls as his hands gripped the neck of a short blonde. What I determined to be her weapon, laid on the ground, next to a pile of blood-covered orange hair. The lost members of the Shi were found, but the situation was not remotely favorable.
Seiko and her girlfriend engaged the assailant immediately, as he had his back turned towards the corridor we came through. He threw the woman in his grasp to the ground. Seeing the state of the two, I did my best to quickly drag them away from the fight. Their injuries were severe, but nothing I haven´t seen in L Corp. I patched them to the best of my ability and went to rejoin my companions who weren´t doing so great, either.
"Another Shi fixer? If I didn´t know better I would´ve called this place infested." The Erlking laughed as he lifted his sword for a sweeping blow which would no doubt do some serious damage.
What I did was incredibly stupid, and I do regret it, but even if I was given the chance, I would not choose differently.
I loaded my crossbow with leftover extra spicy chicken. The pieces hit his eyes perfectly, delivering the sticky mixture of spice and grease right into his eyes. Before he could charge at me, murderous and partially blinded, he was stopped in his tracks, quite literally. Seiko´s blade cleaved through both of his legs in a clean arc, causing him to fall.
No further answers or revenge could take place, the Erlking reached into his coat and vanished before our eyes.
Looking closer at some of the bodies, there was a man wearing a… raincoat? He was breathing, shallowly, as he laid face-down on the ground. We turned him on his back, finding he appeared to be yet another mirror identity of Heathcliff. He asked us what had happened to the Erlking, and upon being informed that he has disappeared, Heathcliff´s body contorted… it is unclear what happened, it may have been distortion, it may have been something else, but his form morphed into some sort of a fox creature that promptly ran away, leaving behind just a few wet puddles and loose hair.

A bit cringy, but I will do it again.
Swap Ishqueg/LCB Queequeg AU.
Seven Assoc. South Section 4 ID uptie story:
Heathcliff: So, you see, if it was the doing of a high level member of a Finger, there is nothing we can do. A shame, really, since they promised to pay so much for the post-contract management...Hey are you even listening?
The other child doesn't even lift her face from the paper to respond.
She took another sip of the coffee, totally absorbed by the details of this new case.
She indeed didn't hear a word of what her senior said.
Queequeg: Hmm no.
She spoke slowly, but with confidence.
Queequeg: Not the Middle. This one. Copy cat.
A rare smile formed at the corner of her lips. It is truly unusual for her to be in such high spirit.
Heathcliff: What? Are you sure?
Queequeg: Sure.
Queequeg: Get uniform. We go now.
Queequeg: Get him before the Middle...For his sake too.
Confused and a bit angry, but the other child did oblige.
He decided to have faith in her deduction, after all, when the Director of South Section 6 transferred her to their department, she said.
Outis: She might be frugal with her words, but do heed them. Her insight will undoubtedly prove to be valuable.
It's totally not because he wants that bonus, no.
Either way, he believes there must be a good reason for someone like her to be accepted among their ranks.
Queequeg: Lucky you.
The culprit: Mocking me now? You caught me. What is lucky about that?
Indeed. In contrast to this child's, the body of the man at the other end of her sword has not even a speck of tattoo. He is really not a member of the Middle.
Queequeg: The Middle's retribution would not have been...
With a simple motion, she pierced her sword through the man's stomach.
Queequeg: So swift and merciful.
Queequeg: Impersonating Big Brother. Grave sin.
The child let out a long sigh. And the melancholy returned to her again.
She could never truly escape them. The Middle never forgets.
However, if her knowledge about them could be of use, she would not hesitate to leverage it to live her new life.
That is the least she could do. That is the least she could have done to fulfill her end of the promise made under the setting sun.
Heathcliff: Uh...so there seems to be a really good restaurant near here-
Queequeg: No. I go back now.
Heathcliff: Huh? Aren't you hungry?
It seems like the other child's attempt at consolation flew right over his junior's head.
Queequeg: Miss Faust's tea already. Coffee...yucky.
Personal notes:
The anatomy here is kind of...atrocious. At first, I even got her eye colour, which I hastily fixed in this version. Well, my anatomy from newer pieces is still terrible, but not as terrible, I guess.
You may notice that I am not a native English speaker, so the way I phrased things and wrote things is a bit weird. I'm not good at writing in my native tongue either. I say I'm bilingual, but I'm actually just illiterate in two different languages.
This is not my proudest work, but I do still like the idea a lot.
I first thought of the idea of Seven Association Fixer Queequeg because I want to give her glasses, as I like to do with every of my favourite characters, but then I realised she would probably be good at investigating crimes (like murders) because she did some before? Especially crimes related to the Fingers. Her personal experiences would be helpful, I think.

Given Carmen's association with Chrisianity, I was searching for anything related to seven and thunder/lightning, and ended up finding something.
Within the Book of Revelations there is a mention of something quite familiar, namely 10:4 which states "And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying 'Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.'"
'Voice from heaven' may refer to her dream, written within her diary, wherein she denies what she sees as the misery of heaven to embrace the joy of Wuthering Heights. This description [diary] also reminds me very much of how many interpret the process of gaining E.G.O and distorting, plus losing Heathcliff could also count as having part of her foundation/core beliefs shaken or broken, which also seems to be a requirement for a talk with Carmen.
I may be reading into this too much, but this may or may not imply that she had some sort of knowledge relating to Carmen or the Light - possibly as a result of whatever it is she'd done or is doing with the Golden Bough, whatever makes it hers specifically and not simply another item. Given how the last line in part 2 seems to be her's [I cannot recognise voices for the life of me] perhaps she is a bigger part of Heath's distortion than may have been thought before. Especially now Faust has basically said 'Yeah fate exists' as well.
Also, I believe there's been 3 lightning strikes so far - or four if you count the sound at the end of part 2. One for Sir Squirel [rip], one for the bird and one for the will reading.
Thank goodness for 2x speed and people posting event records on YouTube I was not gonna try and count the lightning otherwise.
OOOH THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE ANON. EXTREMELY GOOD INFORMATION.
Honestly I am still not entirely sure about the "fate" thing, but then again there are lines like the attitude Demian and Rim have and their dialogue and Sang Yi's "the world always flows along the same current" which is. Interesting specially taking in count the Mirror Worlds and how things always work out for the Sinners, it makes me wonder how the concept of fate will play into the overall story.
Still, very helpful information, thanks for the input!

i dont play limbus company anymore cuz i dont vibe with the gameplay but i do keep up with the story and i am Thinking about heathcliff and ishmael. how they are consistent in bickering with each other. their association with water and storms. how both of their stories deal with revenge and how the former is usually the brute and the latter is the ‘sane’ one but during their respective cantos ishmael is the unhinged one while heathcliff was going to be rational in his revenge plan. how ishmael’s story focuses on obsession and heathcliff’s seems to be about identity and how you’re perceived can lock one in a cage.
and then i think about when ishmael’s art first came out and she had a jacket with the number seven. which is heathcliff’s designated sinner number. and how heathcliff don’t got a jacket. they’re foils, your honor
#limbus company#heathcliff lcb#lcb ishmael#the seven on her jacket is fixed to eight but lets not worry about that now#note that this is how i see heathcliff’s story so far#will change once tmrw comes#also the fact that obsession is also dealt w in hol and identity being a theme in the familiar…#you can tell i got a type in stories
