I havent seen any other person post about this before so I need to do it myself
This letter is in the background of Check-Ups mao. Idk why noone mentions it, but more than that, I have NO IDEA WHY ITS THERE TO BEGIN WITH!?!?!?
Tumblr media
It is Clearly for Meursault. Aside from the obvious feature that its in French, its denoted as 'Lettre X', his sinner order number. That being said, it is very low res and hard to decypher, but I did give it a quick pass:
Nous appronons dans l'(?) A Resmond(?) est mort. On menu a la ecadre se tristes trop profonde. Cette ne lesont(?) certainement encore. Donc, nul doute que le lettre funme(?) se sapporte a la mer (?). Cette d'eteration mamamama I cant read past this next part at all. Toute celle faux ce serrant lui
Im a native French speaker and I have no clue what this says, the text that I can parse is harf to make sense of, but in general. I think it has a clear message its attempting to communicate
Someone named Resmond is dead, and Meursault is likely being invited to a funeral. Resmond isn't a character in L'Étranger but, very notably, Raymond IS. Raymond is the man who, in a way or another, ends up being responsible for Meursault's arrest
If Raymond is really dead this is like. Insane. Raymond never visits Meursaulf in jail and is barely noted upon during his trial, so his ultimate fate in the novel is completely absent and irrelevant. This means that if he is actually dead, Meursault's canto might start with him being summoned for the procession, just like how he was at the start of L'Étranger with his mother. And, quite notably, it seems like in Limbus, she's already dead
Much to contemplate.

I made a chart of all sinners crossings in Mirror Worlds.
I counted it like this:
If it is specified in the id itself, when you open the history of the id, first Mirror Worlds are shown, then you can choose the history. (like this)
Tumblr media
2. If the sinner appeared on another art, as an example can be Don from Rosespanner, she appeared in Rodya id art - then appeared in all of this Mirror world
Tumblr media
Which mean she also count here too
Tumblr media
and if a sinner crosses over them self, it shows how many ids they has at the moment (April 2025)
Which follows: Yi Sang - is most with Faust, Meursault and Outis (6). Faust - is most with Yi San (6). Don - is most with Outis (7). Ryoshu - is most with Yi Sang, Faust, Hong Lu, Outis and Gregor (5) Meursault - is most with Yi Sang (6) (interestingly, he almost all have 5 each) Hong Lu - most with Yi Sang, Ryoshu, Meursault and Sinclair (5) Heathcliff - most with Ishmael (6) Ishmael - most with Heathcliff (6) Rodion - most with Don and Sinclair (6) Sinclair - most with Don and Roday (6) Outis - most with Don (7) Gregor - most with Ryoshu, Meursault and Rodya (5)
Add colour to see better.
How accurate is it? I don't fucking know, I can't do math. Half the time I remembered some sinners in the artwork after I counted. So if you have more accurate numbers with a particular sinner, you can correct me.
And if anything, those numbers probably don't mean anything, because the sinners may not even know each other, but they may be in this Mirror World.
As an example, Meursault and Ryoshu from Wuthering Heights - They're listed in the same mirror world, but they've never crossed paths.

Your last post is making me think on the Meursault-Heathcliff parallels - if the idea of being summond to the procession is true, then it'd parallel how Heath got his summons to Wuthering Heights.
And on a somewhat unrelated note - of all of the characters in Le'Stranger, who do you think will be the Demian/Hermann link? Given all sinners minus Rodya know someone related to one of those two groups so far.
For the first part, yeah, 100%. Those two have some serious narrative connections going on. I'm not a Meurcliff shipper by any means (I don't think Meursault should be shipped with anyone, if youre asking for my honest opinion), but like. I Get It. The writing is pretty on the wall about it. Especially with the whole Meursault using his binds on Heath in his Canto. There's something going on there
For the Hermann thing? Genuinely no clue. There are very very few named characters in L'Étranger, so a lot of the big options are just random members of the court, who aren't currently named. The only character that it couldve possibly been in my eyes was Raymond, but I guess he's dead?? Maybe????Thinking about it more it does feel pretty accurate that the only way they'd get Meursault to tangle with his past again is something like a death. He's not really a ruminate on change kind of guy. Take this passage from this book
Tumblr media
Meur is kind of just like, in his lane and happy, in his own weird little way. Its one of the reasons Ive always wondered so much about why he would have joined Limbus in the first place, you know? What possible reason could he have been offered?
That's why I think Meur wasn't offered, but instead that Limbus is essentially his version of a prison sentence. It makes sense to me in the way of his hard work and attitude about all the things he's asked to do, as well as why he just kind of stepped up to the guillotine so flippantly in TKT. He was probably just like "Ah, okay. Guess we're wrapping up."
But thats just my thoughts.... Idk. I think about this guy way too much 🤕

I don't like April 1st but the interaction between Meur and Rodya in the joke event definitely made me happy🤭💙
