thinking about how terrifying Don Quixote would be if Rocinante was a pair of Heelys instead of boots. Like, you hear high pitched screaming, turn to look at the source, and see a girl with a giant lance gliding towards you (with violent intentions) on her Heelys. you have never seen a pair of Heelys go this fast.

Your fics. Honestly quite incredible. I always look forward to them and I'm so appreciative to have a growing pile of Don-centric fics to enjoy over and over. I always think about the parts of her that leaked through Rocinante and was equally gripped by how it doesn't suppress her bloodlust. Couldn't stop thinking about it. What do you MEAN her drive for justice and urge to spill blood got muddled up into spontaneous outbursts of violence?! Do you think the ever questioned how she never aged and never needed to eat while in the lighthouse? Quite funny to think about how Don had the immortal experience and seemingly didn't question it. But honestly who hasn't gotten into a really good book/game/series and completely lost track of time? Anyway. Keep writing. I'll keep reading. And thank you again :)

The thought of getting so absorbed in a hobby that you don't notice how much time has gone by AND you even forget to eat in relation to bloodfiends is a really interesting and funny one. I hadn't considered that before.

Maybe that's why Dad Quixote hopped between so many interests! You gotta keep that attention focused!

As for how I'd approach this from a canon-ish perspective, I don't think she'd have any reason to question her immortality since she has nothing to compare her experience against. Kind of like my take on why she doesn't question her bloodlust - as far as she has seen, this is what life is like for everybody.

Re-reading that section of the canto again, it looks like she does have at least a concept of days going by. But then again, who knows if her sense of a "day" in the Lighthouse was is even close to reality? Maybe a "day" went by each time she finished reading a new adventure.
