Okay!! I have a question!! Where do you get all the IFs you read? Bc I'm frfr invested in IFs and I NEED more! (I try getting some off itch.io but it fr hard 2 find rlly good ones :C) If you have some recommendations please give me them!!!! <333 (if you have some personal favs *cough cough* when your Mc is villain– Ahem–) But yeah! If you have some recommendations please feed them to me 😌 (I did look at a post from a while ago when you gave a anon some recommendations and I been eating them up lol)
I can tell you, but first, you will need: chalk, 5 red candles (any scent or unscented), 1 pint of blood, 3 teaspoons tears, 100 grams salt, and one can of peach Fresca (that's for me - I like a bubbly treat when summoned).
I don't do anything too special to find IFs. I peruse Tumblr when I can (it brings up recommended pages and I just click through them), get recs from a couple friends, and scour the itchio search like I'm looking for government secrets. Steam has some completed ones you can buy too. I've been collecting IFs for several years, so I just have ended up with a lot.
Any demo I find - I read it (or rather these days, I add it to the backlog to read when I'm done writing or when I need a breather). More recently @if-whats-new has been a great source to help me find IFs to devour.
I am glad you've been enjoying my list! I wondered if most would already know about all of them. I'll pop a few more below just in case. ^_^
God Syndicate, Fortune Forsaken, Spotlight, Lightweaver: Chosen, The Midnight Bay, The Sunhold Coven, Press Play, Bethroned, Deux à Deux, Hungry Dogs, Hundsnächte, Soulmates, Inc, A Court of Serpents, Merry Crisis
If you would like even more, you should be able to view all the Tumblrs I follow. Most of them will be IFs or authors. Enjoy!

Mini PAC IV
If you were a character in a fantasy novel, what would your quest or adventure look like?
Piles read 1 -> 4
Note: This is a bit different, more intuitive and wrote this in the train back home, hope you enjoyyy
Book a reading! || Ko-fi
🪽 Pile 1

As your plans escalate, you'll face increasingly powerful heroes, leading to epic showdowns and thrilling battles that could determine the fate of the city. Your adventure is a morally ambiguous tale that delves into the depths of villainy, exploring the complex motivations and personal struggles of those who choose to walk the path of darkness.
🪽 Pile 4

Your adventure begins when the stranger discovers a hidden chamber in the village's ancient library, rumored to contain a love letter written centuries ago by a long-lost soul. They enlist your artistic skills to bring the letter's sentiments to life through illustrations.
As you both work together on this project, you unravel the story of a profound, forbidden love between two people from different eras. The more you delve into the past, the closer you grow to the strabger. Sparks fly as the line between the story and reality blurs, and a deep connection forms between you two.
Yet, secrets from their past threaten to tear you apart. The quest for the truth behind their enigmatic identity becomes as important as preserving the love story from the past. Along this romantic journey, you'll confront your own fears, past heartaches, and find the courage to embrace a love that transcends time.

How can such an innocent women have
Such dangerous hands?
- ( The song of the Chapter is "Dangerous Hands" by Austin Giorgio.
A shadow loomed in the dark stillness of the night.
A pair of eyes gleamed.
The eyes of a predator.
Eyes like fire and thunder, laced with venom.
Multiple computers flickered to red all of a sudden. Someone had dared to invade the monster's lair. He was at once thrilled and in awe of the audacity of the intruder, "TheSwallow."
TheSwallow had breached the first layer of firewall the monster had built around his empire of dark web.
And the monster was no stranger to TheSwallow.
He knew her.
He had stolen from her.
How did the monster know the intruder was a "her"? Experience. Years of navigating in the dark corridors of hacking taught him to distinguish between a "he" and a "she". The "she"s usually had a specific style in writing code. These codes in his screens were so damn gorgeous to be written by a man.
The "she"s were very rare in the hacker business, but when there was a "she", it was a fucking spectacle to behold.
Just like what's transpiring right now.
The monster could kiss her dainty little fingers for the show she was putting on. So sexy, so sensual.
A smile curved in the corner of his lips.
His smile was a blade wrapped in silk.
A sinister mixture of danger and delight.
It was time to lay a trap for the little bird. Let’s see how the swallow fared in the sky of the eagles.
Chapter 1
A Serpent in the Eagle's Den

Did you really think
I'd just forgive and forget.
- ( The song of the Chapter is "I see red" by Everybody loves an outlaw)
TheShadowMonster
It's the name she hates the most in the whole universe right now. Who is TheShadowMonster? She doesn't know. No one knows. He is a notorious hacker on the dark web, the lord of that shadowy world. Hackers all over the globe admire him, some worship him and others wet their pants at the mere mention of his name. He is a name of admiration, reverence, and fear in their world.
Khushi Sen Gupta used to admire him, even worshipped him in certain weak moments, but not anymore. Right now, she hates his guts.
TheShadowMonster is a thief.
He has no morals.
As if growing up in a notorious mafia family in Kolkata wasn't bad enough, now she has to deal with this setback in her secret life as well.
Yes, Khushi Sen Gupta is a hacker.
A highly proficient one.
A childhood full of mommy issues and daddy issues does that to you, when you find computers more emotionally available to you than your own parents.
And, Khushi Sen Gupta is a born genius. She discovered the language of computers when she was 8 years old, and since then, she never looked back.
Her father, Sashidhar Sen Gupta is the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Kolkata. Behind that badge, he is also the most corrupt in the country's history, not that anyone knows about his crimes. He is a member of 'The Serpents,' one of the three families that established the mafia in this country in the fifties.
The infamous 'Triad.'
Three powerful families came together to form an organized mafia syndicate that have been dominating the country for decades. These families swore to follow the laws laid down by The Godfathers and to stand by each other in times of need.
In every family, there’s The Boss, often called The Godfather, the unquestioned head who rules the entire empire. Just beneath him is The Underboss, The Heir, waiting in the shadows to take the throne. On par with the Underboss in power is The Consigliere, the trusted advisor who, though not bound by blood, holds the family's fate in his hands.
Beneath this triad of authority are the captains, who oversee specific operations and territories, managing their own teams to ensure the family's orders are executed with precision. At the end of the food chain are the foot soldiers, who carry out day-to-day tasks on the streets.
When territories were being distributed, the then head of the Serpents, Samol Kumar Jha, claimed West Bengal and its borders. They started operating from there. The Sen Gupta family had the honor of being The Consiglieri of The Serpents from the very beginning and they have held that position ever since.
A Consigliere is someone who is not related to the family by blood.
An outsider to the family,
But not an outsider to the mafia society.
He offers legal and financial counsel to The Boss while shielding them from impending threats.
That is Khushi's father now.
The Consigliere of the Serpents.
The Serpents have been ruling West Bengal for decades, but a few years ago, they moved to Delhi when The Boss of that time, Prakash Narayan Jha, decided to dip his toes into politics. As a result, the Sen Gupta household also relocated to Delhi. Even after The Boss was mysteriously murdered, they didn't move back. The Serpents now operate their business in Kolkata from Delhi, as the brother of the deceased boss took over that part of the business a few years ago, giving The Heir a chance to pursue his other interests. The Heir wants to venture into even more dangerous games.
The Politics.
The son of the deceased boss, Shyam Manohar Jha, is eager to try his luck in the political arena, just like his father.
People call him "The Viper".
A fitting description of his nature.
The second family of The Triad is the Mumbai Wolves. As the name suggests, Mumbai is their territory. Khushi knows very little about them. She never had to. In her entire 22 years of life, she hasn't crossed paths with any of them. But she could vaguely recall that the boss's daughter was killed last month, brutally and brazenly, in broad daylight, such an insult to the power the Wolves possessed. The news sent shockwaves through the underworld, leaving everyone on edge and wary of a brewing storm ahead.
And the last but not the least, the most notorious of them all.
The Black Eagles.
Here she stands, right in the heart of their territory.
It’s not that people from one family can’t visit another’s territory. The Serpents have basically been living in Delhi, which is the Black Eagles' domain, for the past two decades. However, a rule has been established. The Serpents can’t meddle in The Eagles' affairs. So, Khushi being here wouldn’t be an issue if it weren’t for two facts, first, the Serpents and the Black Eagles don’t see eye to eye, and second, she came here to stick her tiny nose in their business.
The serpents and the Eagles are enemies, they have been for a long time, bound by a fragile alliance that forces them to tolerate one another. What turned once-friends into bitter foes? That’s a long story, one best saved for another time. For now, there's a more pressing issue to focus on.
Her whereabouts.
Fuck, Fuck, Fuck.
It is a mistake.
It can't be nothing but a mistake.
A grave one in nature.
Entering enemy territory like this!
But it is a mistake she has to make.
There's a party going on, a costume party with masks, nonetheless. At least it will be a tad bit easier to hide her identity.
The knives strapped to both of her thighs are biting into her skin, adding an extra notch to her already frayed nerves.
Ignoring the pain in her thigh, Khushi simply observes the scene in front of her. She has been preparing for this night for days. She has meticulously transformed her appearance for the evening. The long black sleeveless gown conceals the knives. She's paired the dress with a simple black lace mask. Her dark hair is curled into long waves with lips painted a vivid red.
It is anything but her.
But it is absolutely essential for her plan to remain unrecognizable.
She forces herself to maintain an air of nonchalance. She feigns drinking from the wine glass in her hand, but her eyes are locked on the crowd, never losing focus. A few sips of the drink might have soothed her jittery nerves, yet she refrains. A crystal clear focus is more crucial than any illusion of liquid courage.
The party is being held in the sprawling lawn of a grand mansion owned by a businessman associated with the Black Eagles. The mansion comes alive with the vibrant energy of the party, where twinkling fairy lights drape the trees, casting a warm glow across the night.
Laughter and music fill the open space, a lively symphony of chatter and clinking glasses. Guests mingle in elegant attire, their faces hidden behind an array of intricate masks, each more ornate than the last.
The scent of fresh blooms from the immaculately manicured hedge fills the air. She scans the softly glowing lawn area from the shadows of one of those hedges, observing faces she recognizes from the news over the years. She watches as the soldiers of the Eagles parade around with women mostly decorating the arms of the men they are with, just like those lavish centerpieces, adorning the beautifully arranged tables.
"Mr.Rathore, so nice to see you."
A man's loud greetings draw her attention. Khushi studies the man being greeted. He stands tall, his slender yet agile frame filling out the sharp lines of his tailored suit, a classic black that contrasts with his neatly combed white hair. The burden of age is visible on his face, etched deeply with wrinkles.
Vikrant "the Butcher" Singh Rathore.
The Boss of The Black Eagles.
Everyone in her world has some sort of crimson stain on their hands. But his hands bear the darkest stains of blood, deeper and more haunting than anyone else, the darkest shade of crimson.
They call him "The Butcher" for a reason.
His cold-blooded attitude is a thing of admiration in their world. Khushi has been around men like him in her life long enough not to let that shake her, or at the very least, to ensure none of it betrays her perfectly stoic face, carefully honed through years of practice.
Standing beside him is his son, the Prince of the Rathore Empire, Akash Singh Rathore. A tall, leanly built, lanky man. His role within the Eagles is still uncertain. Rumor has it that the Junior Rathore wants to leave the mafia world, not a promising prospect for the Rathore family, with an heirless empire hanging in the balance.
Those men in the eastern corner of the lawn care very little about the masquerade, standing barefaced while others conceal themselves behind masks. Good for Khushi. Nonetheless, she has studied them so much over the past few days that she will recognize them anywhere whether masked or unmasked, veiled, or unveiled.
Khushi finally lets herself take a little sip of the red liquid for the first time that night. The bitterness of the wine burns her throat, a spark compared to the burning hate prickling her skin as her eyes wander to the man who stands silently beside Junior Rathore.
The man she has come here for.
Arnav Singh Raizada.
The Consigliere of the Black Eagles.
The Vulture.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/abf73c65c9a0faf8b5418152b45c2038/c997a27b4b28ca0e-29/s540x810/6b36d87fdd43e595f27ac281054428956e3ad121.jpg)
Her eyes trace over him, lingering on every detail. He stands tall in an all-black suit. The black shirt underneath has its top three buttons open in absence of a tie. His black hair is slightly messy, as if he has just run his fingers through it. He has his gaze fixed on the man in front of him with the most bored, expressionless face she has ever seen. It’s hard to see his eyes from this distance.
But she knows they are brown.
Light chocolate brown.
Like caramel and chocolate mixed together, sprinkled with a hint of orange and green if you get the right angle.
Eyes like shadow and flame.
Eyes that could kill you, literally and figuratively.
She's observed pictures of him in great detail, just for research purposes to be absolutely clear.
Purely and absolutely.
Not because she finds him attractive or anything. Like right now, she can't take her eyes off the handsome man, not because his well-built body is flexing in all the right places as he shakes someone's hand, but because of the stories she has heard of him over the years since he returned from the States seven years ago.
The words have it that after Senior Rathore's retirement, he will be the boss of The Black Eagles, not Junior Rathore. They say Vikrant Singh Rathore favors Mr. Raizada over his own son. In parts, Mr. Raizada even bears a closer resemblance to Senior Rathore than to his own father.
Arnav "The Vulture" Singh Raizada.
He is The Vulture among The Eagles.
In the mafia world, he is known as 'the vulture'. Whereas in the business world, people refer to him by the acronym, ASR. He is the son of the former consigliere of The Black Eagles, Arvind Singh Raizada. Arvind Singh Raizada and Vikrant Singh Rathore were best friends. After Arvind was murdered, his wife tragically ended her life by taking matters into her own hands. Soon after that, Senior Rathore sent the only surviving Raizada to the USA to study at Harvard.
At the age of 25, Mr. Raizada took over the reins of Rathore Industries. It primarily consists of high-end fashion houses, garment factories, and various other business ventures. He transformed the once-dying company into a Fortune 500 corporation. People say his net worth is over 500 million dollars, with some even claiming it is more.
But the more impressive thing is how he got his nickname. He cleared away all their illegal affairs and whitewashed all of their black money, giving them the squeaky clean reputation in the entire mafia world in the police database. Under the shade of the massive wings of The Vulture, The Eagles can now easily operate their business without any hitch.
Such a waste of a Harvard education, Khushi huffs.
There's a saying in her world that became popular in the last few years, "When the vulture surrounds you, try not to die."
He has the reputation of being the deadliest Eagle of them all, the most predatory. He rarely goes on a hunt though, but when he does, it's said to be over in the bat of an eye.
He goes straight for the jugular.
No distractions.
No playing around with the prey.
But no one ever saw him in action. Her bodyguard-turned-driver, Mohan, thinks they are all just rumors The Eagles have spread to instill fear among the masses regarding the next in line.
She fakely smiles at a waiter who offers her some desserts. Slightly raising her wine glass, she pretends to take a sip once again. She keeps her inspection ongoing from under the rim of her glass. She is right. Mr. Raizada does run his fingers through his hair a lot. The tattoo on his hand catches her eye.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/670200654ef85219bf28ae314bc1e628/c997a27b4b28ca0e-65/s540x810/ffa91befa3280fff7fe21d3b7219bb6d0e3939fb.jpg)
He has a tattoo of a swallow on his right hand. Her favourite bird.
She even named her hacker ID "TheSwallow." She yearns for the freedom of the bird and wants to fly away to a far-off land one day. She doesn't want to be frowned upon like the peacock or the swan. She wants to be free, lost in the crowd like a normal human, not caged away in a castle.
She feels bad for the bird inked into his skin. Such a pretty bird to be trapped on the hand of such a despicable man. Just as he has caged the swallow forever in his skin, The Vulture has robbed her of her freedom as well.
She worked tirelessly throughout her years at IIT Delhi to gather information and evidence about the crimes committed by his father and the Serpents, so that by the end of her graduation, she could share them with the police in exchange of protection and escape from the country. She also coded a deadly virus that could evade any high-end security system, which she intended to sell on the dark web for a high price. But as she was transferring the data to the CBI, it stopped at the 10% mark, and all her data and the virus she created were gone. Abso-fucking-lutely gone. Not a single file remained on her computer. To make matters worse, her computer was formatted.
She was hacked by none other than TheShadowMonster. Why did the infamous hacker in the history of all hackers need to target someone like her? She has no idea. She was in the dark then, and she’s still in the dark now. She doesn't care about the 'why's, 'how's, or 'who's anymore.
She only knows that the information he has hacked is dangerous. It can demolish the entire mob world if it falls into the wrong hands. They can use it as leverage against the mob families, especially the Serpents, to achieve anything. And it has ended up in the worst hands possible.
The hands of an enemy.
She has been tracking the data and TheShadowMonster relentlessly for the past few days. She even managed to hack TheShadowMonster's server. All of this tracking has led her to Mr. Raizada. TheShadowMonster has sold the information to him. She discovered text messages, transactions, and every detail that pointed to the fact that the information was sold to Mr. Raizada in exchange for a huge amount of money.
And with that, all her escape routes have been blocked. She is trapped in this hellhole.
However, the thing is she can't stay in Delhi any longer. She can't afford to wait to collect more information against them as the day of her wedding approaches rapidly. She needs to retrieve the information tonight, at any cost, from none other than Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada.
She is going to kill The Vulture.
She knows it seems foolish and utterly illogical, but she has no other choice. Either she will kill him and obtain the information, or he will kill her and put her out of her misery. Either way, she will be free.
There is one more reason behind her desire to eliminate The Vulture.
Her only friend from university, despite her father's hovering and overprotectiveness, has vanished after the hacking incident. She doesn't want to assume the worst, but her efforts to track him down and her inquiries among other students led nowhere. Neil Kashyap, whom she calls NK, has vanished without a trace. She knows NK can remain untraceable if he wants, as he is skilled with computers and adept at erasing his online tracks as well. But Khushi is Khushi. She discovered a number NK shared text messages with before his disappearance, and that number belongs to Mr. ASR.
Khushi doesn't have time to cry over her pathetic life or the fact that she befriended someone sent by The Eagles to keep an eye on her. She not only befriended him but also made him her best friend for life.
The pathetic, lonely, friendless life that she has.
That is indeed a solid reason to kill Mr. Raizada, for giving her a best friend and then snatching it all away.

Hey!Can you please recommend me some fanfictions where harry sees draco's sectumsempra scars and feels absolutley guilty?
It need not be the main focus of the story, but one good scene about it would do!
Thanks.
Hello, hello! Your holds have arrived!
I loved your ask, and appreciated the openness of it, as I think not being limited to completely Sectumsempra focused fics allowed me to pick some extra great fics! In general, for this list, the shorter the fic, the more focused on the Sectumsempra scene/scars it is. Hope you enjoy!
Sectumsempra Scars
That Won't Erase It by @triggerlil (539 words, rated M)
Two men, a multitude of scars, one intimate moment.
I'm Sorry (it doesn't matter) by @carpemermaidtales (words 637, rated M)
Harry trailed off and pressed a kiss to Malfoy’s temple. “I’m still sorry, all the same. I wish that hadn’t happened. I wish you weren’t scarred from it. I guess now I know why you always insist on showering at home instead of in the training centre.”
“Well, that, and the facilities are appalling,” Malfoy muttered acidly.
Harry froze. He hadn’t realised Malfoy was awake.
Sectumsempra Scars by @drarrily-we-row-along (1,055 words, rated T)
Harry woke up first the following morning. He’d shifted, rolling toward Draco and opening his eyes; he wasn’t prepared for the sight that met him.
The normally flawless skin of Draco’s chest and abdomen was covered with raised scars, scars that intersected and crossed all the way up to his neck, one trailing as high as his cheek.
And for a minute, Harry tried to piece together what could have happened in his bed overnight.
life's like an hourglass glued to the table by @phoebe-delia (1,455 words, rated T)
I really don't know how it got like this.
That's not true, yes I do. Of course, I do. I was there, near the middle of it all; not the epicenter, not the periphery, but somewhere within the nebulous part in-between. I was close enough to be scathed, to be one of the supporting characters—though I'm fairly certain my support was the problem—but I was neither protagonist nor antagonist.
Phoenix in the Fire by @fw00shy (1,466 words, rated E)
Their first time was an accident. "Sex pollen," Draco claims, though everyone knows it was too much Ogden's after Puddlemere beat the Tornados 240-230.
"He's like a vengeful sex demon after he's lost," Harry confesses in the privacy of Hermione's kitchen. "A lustful, bitter jackhammer."
Sun Stroke by @peachpety (3,854 words, rated E)
Draco, Harry, and a handful of friends take a summer holiday at the beach. With the help of a sultry sea setting, encouraging friends, and a fisherman’s jumper, Harry and Draco's mutual attraction swells and things get hot on a salty summer night.
Erase the Shame by @fleetofshippyships-archive (6,763 words, rated E)
An Inter-House unity party is the last thing Draco wants to go to. It's not long into a game of Truth or Dare when he is reminded why.
But maybe his dare is worth it after all.

There’s something wrong with the serpents at the Greengrass Ophidiarium. Luckily, a certain Parselmouth just might be able to help.
Oh, Sinnerman by @lou-isfake (40,068 words, rated E)
“I’m serious, Potter,” Malfoy said quietly. “That was some real bad luck you had, being there last night. They will come after you, and they will kill you—after torturing you for information on my whereabouts.” He pocketed Harry’s wand, but held on to his knife, twirling it between his fingers. Harry was distracted by its movement, the reflections of the bright, dawning sun on polished silver. “I’m not happy about it, either, but you’re stuck with me for the foreseeable future.”
He watched Malfoy’s face for a long time, in a staring contest he wasn’t sure he’d signed up for. Stuck with Malfoy, for the foreseeable future, on the run from a massive crime syndicate that had infiltrated the Ministry and was out for their blood.
It was all very familiar, except for the Malfoy part.
Everything is Relative to You by @thehoneybeet (43,111 words, rated E)
Potter was supposed to have lived. Draco is certain of this. That Potter would no longer walk the earth was tantamount to the sun moving west to east across the sky. If only he could have stopped this from happening, if he’d have known…
It comes to him as ideas often did: too late.
Or, Harry dreams of his past lives, and Draco is in every one.
Not From Kindred Stock by @p1013 (45,779 words, rated E)
"Potter!" Draco calls again, but this time he pauses at the sound of his voice. "Potter?"
Something is very wrong.
Because now that he's gained a little of his equilibrium back and the room is no longer spinning, Draco has a sinking realisation that his voice doesn't sound rough or gravelly, but rather different. Different like his vision and the feel of his body around his bones and the bloody goddammned fucking clothes on his—shagging Salazar, God fuck, this isn't his body.
Among Ancient Pines by @graymatters (73,981 words, rated M)
Every day, Draco Malfoy tries. With every fiber of his being he tries. But he doesn’t much think about what he’s trying for.
In his final term of Healer training, Draco is unfortunate enough to find himself on a plane, the only means of traveling to a small, magical town in rural Alaska. Years of hard work have culminated in an opportunity to work with an experimental wandmaker to study the intersection of Healing and wand theory. When Draco arrives, he doesn't find the wandmaker, but does find his apprentice, who happens to have ridiculously messy hair, a lightning bolt scar, and a definitely-not-charming smile. But Draco isn’t going to let Harry Potter get in the way of him becoming a successful medical researcher, even if Potter is stubborn, hot-tempered, reckless, surprisingly gentle, has bizarre taste in music, and likes to leave his shirts unbuttoned. How hard could the next few months be?
A fic about challenging assumptions, discovering self-worth, the silver lining in failing to meet expectations, and finding friendship, love, and purpose in a small Alaskan town that’s steeped in magic.
in the dark by @toxik-angel (81,213 words, rated M)
Draco Malfoy may not have a Manor or money or status or a family or friends, but he has his looks, and goes into the glamorous modeling field.
And listen. Listen. No one can blame Harry for being obsessed with him all over again.
Bolts by @lqtraintracks (114,500 words, rated E)
Harry joins the Hogwarts staff as the new History of Magic Professor, while Draco has already been teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts for the past year. When Samantha, a first year, is being bullied one day and throws a made-up Truth curse at her harasser, only to accidentally hit Harry instead, Harry becomes cursed to tell the truth, and not only that, he has to regularly tell it to Draco Malfoy. Samantha is clearly gifted, maybe the most powerful witch or wizard to ever come through Hogwarts, and yet she has no idea how to take the curse off. As they work to remove it—and also teach Samantha how to control a power that's becoming more dangerous by the day—will Harry's truths become too much to handle? And will whatever’s going on with Draco just make everything exponentially worse?
❤️ As always, if you find a fic you enjoy, please remember to leave the author a kudos or a comment! ❤️
Lots of Love and Happy Reading!

Catwoman: Night's Seductive Slink by Jade Gretz
The air hung heavy with the cloying sweetness of cheap perfume and the acrid tang of sweat, a symphony of smells that clung to Selina's senses like a second skin. The dimly lit backroom of the Velvet Viper, Gotham's most infamous underground club, pulsed with a dangerous energy. Bodies swayed to a relentless beat, their movements a blur of flesh and shadows. Selina, her sleek black catsuit a whisper against the rough brick wall, watched the scene unfold with a predatory grace.
Tonight was the night. Tonight, she'd finally get close enough to strike at the heart of the Viper's Syndicate, the ruthless organization that had been spreading its tendrils through Gotham like a poisonous vine, choking out any semblance of law and order. The Syndicate, led by a shadowy figure known only as "The Serpent," thrived on fear and intimidation, its power emanating from a network of ruthless enforcers and a web of corruption that reached deep into Gotham's elite.
Selina had been tracking them for months, a relentless shadow against the darkness. She had learned their language, their rituals, their weaknesses. Her own instincts, honed by years of navigating Gotham's underbelly, guided her every move. She knew that tonight, a meeting was planned, a gathering of the Syndicate's most powerful players. It was her chance, her opportunity to deliver a blow that would cripple their operation.
She slipped into the backroom, blending seamlessly with the crowd. She knew every inch of this den of vice, every secret passage, every hidden alcove. The air grew thick with tension as she approached a group of burly men, their faces obscured by shadows. Their conversation was hushed, their whispers carrying an undercurrent of menace.
“We’re not in charge,” a voice rasped, each word heavy with threat. “The Serpent controls everything. Our every move, every decision, is dictated by his will.”
"He doesn't even show his face, doesn't let anyone see him,” another voice hissed, a hint of fear in his tone.
Selina’s heart hammered against her ribs, a silent drumbeat against the pulsating rhythm of the m …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). ngl i rushed to the inbox at the speed of light. could we please get a continuation of cinnabar and fem chief's romantic relationship headcanons? especially marriage related ones if you will 🥺 thank you!
Thank you for your patience! I had a lot of fun writing this request, though I did focus a lot on the proposal and wedding, so if you want more married life headcanons, well, feel free to ask!
Marriage-related headcanons with Cinnabar and F!Chief
Cinnabar and Chief dated for about five years before Cinnabar finally popped the question, and even that was only due to the egging of her comrades at Serpent Eye.
Cinnabar was so hesitant around the idea of possibly messing things up with her beloved girlfriend that it wasn't until Alyosha posed a grim scenario that she realized she had to act: “You both have a very dangerous line of work, Cinnabar. Either of you could die at any moment and you'd live with the regret of never getting to marry her the rest of your damn life.”
Though Cinnabar truly hoped she would go out before Chief, she was wise enough to know Alyosha's words rang true, so she began to plan her proposal.
Even after she'd made the decision, it still took a while for Cinnabar to get everything ready. A month or two, at least, and she made sure to casually bring up the topic of marriage, just to make sure the Chief was favorable to the idea. Cinnabar felt like she could've fainted from relief when she was.
Several members of Serpent Eye offered to help with her proposal, but Cinnabar turned them down. She didn't want a big, grand gesture, just a small, intimate moment between herself and her girlfriend.
When the day came, Cinnabar stood in front of a grave in an Eastside cemetery, dressed in a fancy suit and holding a bouquet of roses. Her nervous anticipation was at an all-time high as she waited for her girlfriend; she knew this was a bizarre place for a proposal, but Chief would understand and appreciate the sentiment… She hoped.
Indeed, when Chief arrived, she was quite confused, though she accepted the bouquet nevertheless. Cinnabar rolled out a blanket and placed a picnic basket down on it, saying that she wanted to introduce her father to her girlfriend… Understanding dawned on the Chief then.
As the picnic neared its end, Cinnabar had to fight nervous instinct to keep from constantly checking her pockets. The ring box was there, everything would be fine, she needed to stop worrying…
When she determined the moment was right, Cinnabar took a deep breath and shifted to get on one knee. Chief stared at her with wide eyes as she began, professing her endless love and adoration, as well as how happy Chief had made her, and how she wanted to stay eternally by her side…
Cinnabar pulled the small box from her pocket and opened it, revealing the simple but nevertheless beautiful ring within. “Chief, will you marry me?”
For a few moments, Chief seemed shocked still, terrifying moments in which Cinnabar held her breath. Then, the Chief beamed brighter than Cinnabar had ever seen her do so before, hugging her tightly. “Of course I will, Cinnabar,” she whispered, offering her hand for Cinnabar to slide the ring onto.
As they left the graveyard hand-in-hand, Cinnabar paused for a moment to look back at her father's grave… Somehow, she had a feeling that he approved of his daughter's chosen wife.
The members of the Bureau, as well as Serpent Eye, were extremely congratulatory for the pair, and offered their help as well. Cinnabar and Chief were extremely grateful for it, as their jobs were still extremely busy and left little time to plan their wedding.
Langley and Nightingale's help, in particular, was invaluable; there were several officials that protested Chief's union with a Sinner, but with their help, Chief was able to get them to concede and get all the needed paperwork processed.
The day of the wedding finally came around a year later. The chosen venue was an old chapel in Syndicate, miraculously mostly untouched by the hands of time – it did need a little fixing up, but there was no problem.
Cinnabar waited at the altar, trying not to fidget with her suit. Members of Serpent Eye were seated on one side of the venue, and members of the MBCC on the other – her family and the Chief's, respectively.
Finally, the doors opened, and her groomsmen walked down the aisle. Her Best Man, Alyosha, nodded at her as he took his place at her side. It was a small gesture, but it meant the world to Cinnabar.
Now came the Chief's bridal party. She'd opted to have two Maids of Honor – Zoya and Shalom. The Paradeisian was more than happy wearing a dress, but Zoya had been allowed to wear a suit.
The ring bearer and flower girl could be none other than Hecate and Hella. Though many of the kids in the MBCC had wanted the positions, everyone kind of already figured it'd go to those two, and were happy enough being bridesmaids for the Chief.
Finally, Chief herself made her appearance. Cinnabar's breath caught in her throat as she laid eyes on her bride; as per tradition, she hadn't been allowed to see Chief the night before the wedding, so this was Cinnabar's first time seeing her in her gown; pure white, simple but flowing, with minimal lace. Very Chief-like, Cinnabar thought.
Langley had been chosen to walk Chief down the aisle and hand her off to Cinnabar. When her bride-to-be stopped in front of her and smiled, Cinnabar felt as though her heart might beat out of her chest.
Their vows were simple and sweet, yet brought many to tears – including the brides themselves. Not a single person doubted that these two were made for each other.
When Nightingale announced that she could kiss the bride, Cinnabar felt overwhelmed. She gathered Chief into her arms, hugging her close as they tenderly kissed, met by the cheers and applause of their friends and family.
Indeed, Cinnabar was sure this would be the happiest day of her life. The reception passed in a blur and mostly without incident, but Cinnabar had never felt more elated than in this moment.
(The ‘mostly without incident’ was due to Hella trying to start a food fight. Luckily, Chief reined her in fairly quickly.)
Unfortunately, due to the demands of their work lives, the two of them didn't really have time to have a honeymoon. It was a shame, because they could have used one. They did manage to snag a weekend off, though, which they spent at an Eastside hotel, doing their best to forget about work and enjoy their newlywed life.
Still, when they returned to the Bureau, not much changed. The wedding was mostly a legal formality, a status change recognized by official channels; in truth, the two had behaved like an adoring, married couple for many years prior.
In fact, the biggest change was that, by combining their marriage documents with Cinnabar's exceptional bill of behavior, Chief was able to wrangle special privileges that allowed Cinnabar to share her room with her, rather than having to return to her cell each night.
And as Cinnabar fell asleep that night, her wife in her arms, she couldn't help but think that was more than enough.

Quake: Shadows of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Series Overview:
In the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) finds itself vulnerable. With S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded and former allies scattered, the world is left exposed to new and emerging threats. These aren’t the grand battles against alien invaders or gods, but rather insidious, shadowy forces manipulating global events from behind the scenes. Quake: Shadows of S.H.I.E.L.D. follows Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, as she navigates this treacherous landscape, taking on a leadership role to revive S.H.I.E.L.D. — not as it was, but as it was meant to be. Along the way, she encounters Daredevil, a vigilante who operates in the shadows, bringing his own unique set of skills and moral dilemmas into the mix.

Issue #1: The Shadows of a Broken World
Synopsis:
The world is fragile, and Daisy Johnson is trying to stay hidden from it. Disillusioned by the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the betrayals she’s faced, Daisy is attempting to lead a low-profile life. However, a mysterious message from her past pulls her back into the fray: “The world is more fragile than you think.”
Plot:
Daisy investigates and uncovers an unfinished S.H.I.E.L.D. operation codenamed “Project Phoenix.” This mission was designed to neutralize threats too dangerous for conventional methods — threats involving advanced technology, rogue superhumans, and remnants of Hydra and A.I.M. Daisy realizes the world needs S.H.I.E.L.D. once more, but in a form that’s mobile, flexible, and true to its core values. She decides to lead this new S.H.I.E.L.D. unit, ready to take on the dangers lurking in the shadows.
Character Development:
Daisy Johnson (Quake): Daisy is more hardened and cynical than in her earlier days. She’s experienced loss and betrayal, but beneath her tough exterior, she still wants to protect the innocent. The story explores her internal struggle between the desire to live a normal life and the responsibility she feels towards the world.
Phil Coulson (AI or Hologram): Coulson makes a return, but not in the flesh. Instead, he’s a highly advanced AI, programmed with Coulson’s memories and personality. This AI serves as Daisy’s guide and moral compass, pushing her to see that S.H.I.E.L.D. can be a force for good if done right.
Maria Hill: Maria Hill, who has been operating in the shadows since the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., joins Daisy. She’s pragmatic, more willing to bend the rules, but her loyalty to the cause is unwavering. She believes Daisy is the leader the world needs.
New Characters: A young, tech-savvy hacker with ties to Wakanda and a former HYDRA operative seeking redemption join Daisy’s team. These new faces bring fresh perspectives and skills to the table, showing that the new S.H.I.E.L.D. is a mix of old values and new blood.
Cliffhanger:
Daisy, having accepted her new role, assembles a team aboard a stealth aircraft. They set out on their first mission, with Daisy declaring, “We’re bringing S.H.I.E.L.D. back—not the way it was, but the way it should have been.”
Issue #2: Into the Serpent’s Lair
Synopsis:
Daisy and her team uncover a plot that ties back to Hydra’s roots—an underground network of cells regaining power and manipulating global events from the shadows.
Plot:
Infiltrating a high-security compound in Eastern Europe, Daisy’s team discovers a bioweapon engineered to target superhumans, capable of turning their powers against them. During their mission, they encounter Daredevil, who has been tracking a mysterious syndicate in New York City involved in smuggling advanced weaponry into the U.S. His investigation has led him across the globe to the same Hydra operation Daisy is targeting.
Daredevil’s inclusion adds moral complexity to the mission. Known for his vigilantism, Daredevil operates outside the law, creating tension between him and Maria Hill, who, despite bending rules, still believes in a structured approach. The collaboration forces Daisy to navigate the differing philosophies of justice between Hill and Daredevil.
Character Development:
Daisy Johnson: As she leads her team deeper into the enemy’s lair, Daisy’s leadership is tested. She must learn to balance the safety of her team with the mission’s importance. Her past with Hydra resurfaces, bringing back painful memories that threaten to cloud her judgment.
Daredevil (Matt Murdock): Matt is thrust into a world much larger than his usual battles in Hell’s Kitchen. He is forced to confront his own limits and the implications of the Hydra threat on a global scale. Working with S.H.I.E.L.D. puts him in unfamiliar territory, but it also presents an opportunity to make a difference beyond New York.
Maria Hill: The tension between Hill and Daredevil adds depth to the narrative, highlighting the differing philosophies between those who operate within a system and those who work outside it. Hill’s pragmatism clashes with Daredevil’s vigilante justice, but ultimately, they both recognize the value in each other’s methods.
Cliffhanger:
Daredevil uncovers a Hydra plan to deploy the bioweapon in New York City, specifically targeting areas where superhumans are known to operate. As he prepares to leave for New York to stop the threat, Daisy convinces him to stay and help them finish the job in Europe first, setting the stage for a high-stakes collaboration.
Issue #3: The Arrival of Serpentor
Synopsis:
A new villain emerges from the shadows: Serpentor, a figure with deep connections to Hydra’s ancient history. He is not just a physical threat, but a master manipulator with a dark agenda that could plunge the world into chaos.
Plot:
Serpentor, having gained control of Hydra’s remnants, is seeking to resurrect an ancient weapon with the power to subjugate entire nations. Daisy and her team, now including Daredevil, must navigate a labyrinth of deception and ancient secrets to stop him. Along the way, they face ancient defenses and Serpentor’s loyal followers, who are willing to die to see his vision realized.
Daredevil’s unique abilities — his heightened senses and combat skills — prove invaluable as they navigate the ancient defenses protecting the Hydra temple. The partnership between Daisy and Daredevil deepens, with each learning to appreciate the other’s perspective and methods.
Character Development:
Daisy Johnson: Daisy struggles with the knowledge that this new enemy is unlike any she’s faced before — one who blends modern science with ancient mysticism. She must adapt quickly, learning to trust her instincts and lead her team through increasingly perilous situations.
Daredevil: Working alongside S.H.I.E.L.D., Matt struggles with his role in this larger conflict. He is used to being the lone protector of Hell’s Kitchen, but now he must learn to rely on a team, balancing his own methods with the need for coordinated efforts.
Serpentor: Serpentor is revealed to be more than just a physical threat. He’s a master manipulator, sowing discord within Daisy’s team by playing on their fears and doubts. His presence forces Daisy to confront her own insecurities about leadership and her ability to protect those she cares about.
Cliffhanger:
Daisy and Daredevil discover a hidden Hydra temple where Serpentor is preparing the final ritual to activate the ancient weapon. To stop him, Daisy realizes she may have to sacrifice something — or someone — dear to her.
Issue #4: The Heart of Hydra
Synopsis:
In the final showdown, Daisy and her team must infiltrate the heart of Hydra’s operation to destroy the ancient weapon before Serpentor can unleash its power on the world.
Plot:
As they face their toughest challenge yet, Daisy and her team discover that Hydra has infiltrated several global governments, ensuring that their fight won’t end here. The stakes are higher than ever as Daisy makes difficult decisions that challenge her leadership and the unity of her team. Daredevil plays a crucial role in disabling the ancient weapon’s defenses, using his unique abilities to detect traps and ambushes that the others might miss.
Character Development:
Daisy Johnson: Daisy fully embraces her role as a leader, making difficult decisions that put her at odds with her team. Her journey comes full circle as she finally reconciles with her past and takes a definitive stand against Hydra.
Daredevil: Matt comes to terms with the fact that his fight against crime has expanded beyond the streets of New York. He realizes that his skills are just as valuable on a global stage, and he contemplates how he can balance his life as a vigilante with the broader responsibilities that come with working alongside S.H.I.E.L.D.
Maria Hill: Hill’s loyalty to Daisy is solidified as she realizes that Daisy’s idealism is exactly what S.H.I.E.L.D. needs. She becomes Daisy’s right hand, ensuring that the new S.H.I.E.L.D. stays true to its mission.
Cliffhanger:
The ancient weapon and Hydra facility are destroyed, but Serpentor escapes, leaving behind a chilling message scrawled on the wall of the temple: “This is just the beginning. The true Hydra never dies, and neither will the darkness you’ve unleashed.” The final panel shows Daisy and Daredevil standing amidst the ruins, the weight of the warning heavy on their minds, knowing that their battle is far from over.

LOCATION: the alibi, outside the front door. FOR: rafe liu
NOW THAT THE CRIMSONS were aligned with both the serpents and the syndicate -- there were certain assets available to her that perhaps might not have been before. she certainly wasn't going to miss the chance to use syndicate technology in her weapondry. she had met to discuss with a member, well aware that they had a partner waiting just outside the door. it was smart to come with backup. even if they were allies -- brooklyn was new territory. nasrin, however, is perfectly fine on her own. just as she always has been. most people know better than to try and touch her, not just because she can damn well fend for herself -- but she's miray's flesh and blood. " well, i suppose that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. " nasrin murmurs to the individual she had met with, eyes still sharp and pointed, her tone sounding borderline sarcastic. it didn't intend to, of course. as they breach the front door, nasrin's eyes analyze the people outside. strangers. allies... and rafe? frankly, she hadn't expected to see him again so soon. nor for her meeting partner to say a quick word to him before walking away -- likely off towards the subway.
" rafe. " she greats him quickly, hands buried within the pockets of her coat as her eyes meet his. he looks different in the light, as most people do, but the rugged nature he bore in the club didn't quite seem to leave him. " make any bartenders piss themselves without me? " the question hangs in the air, accompanied by the elephant in the room. he was syndicate. and, if he put the pieces together -- he'd realize she was of crimson blood.

for: donovan walsh @moody-money where: la mordedura, best table they have to offer
Giada pulled out all the usual stops for her meeting with Donavon Walsh, a meeting that had been set long before both Giada and Donavon had been made aware of it. It was standard protocol, really, a little wining and dining, something her father or any seasoned professional would have done. Best table in the restaurant, hand picked menu, exclusive wine selection, the list when on and on. Just like the words from Giada's previous encounter with Donovan. They seemed to go on and on, still buzzing around in her mind as she took a her seat at La Mordedura. Something tells me you like a good challenge. And Donavon Walsh was about to find out exactly just how much she did.
For Giada wasn't simply looking to collect on an old deal made years ago between old men, or merely pawn her precious baby sister off and be done with it. No — if she was going to foresee an archaic agreement go through then she was going to use it to her upmost advantage, to the Serpent's advantage, and to her sister’s. She wanted the Syndicate to pledge their support to them in this war —for she believed they were the key to all this— and ensure her sister's safety and happiness. Come hell or high water, Giada Rosalia D'Amiano was going to get what she wanted.
"Mr. Walsh," The councilwoman stood when he arrived, extending a hand to him like any business professional would do. "Thank you for joining me this evening. Please have a seat." She gestured towards the empty chair across from her, settling herself into her own, careful not to crease her custom Versace number. "I trust you already know why I asked you here this evening, however why don't we order some drinks first and make ourselves more comfortable."

Alright. Screenshots below the cut, but here's The Lore Dump for my Spacefarer, Jarrett! Depending on the version/universe he is from, his name varies, but when I'm playing I tend to RP as Jarrett so that's the 'default' version of him in my mind.
Be prepared for LOTS of info dumping beneath the cut
(Spoiler Warnings for the plot of Starfield)
Slight cw for mentions of non-con/rape, drug/alcohol abuse & suicide
Top Left: Jarrett (later Jarret Coe) - the most canon version of the character
Born Zarek Di'Kalf in 2292 on Va'ruun'kai to parents who sympathized with The Seprent's Crusade and still missed the teachings of Jinan Va'ruun
He has a younger sister, merely 20 months younger than him, named Jul'vi Di'Kalf
Their family is not associated with one of the 3 main houses under Va'ruun as his parents had both belonged to House Ma'leen prior to it being cut off
Raised as a staunch follower and worshiper of The Great Serpent; his parents stayed in polite society in Dazra but were secretly working towards establishing bases and safe houses for Zealots, keen on bringing back the Serpent's Crusade despite the attempts on Dazra to move beyond that dark part of House Va'ruun's history
Around age 15, his parents go missing and it is presumed they were killed; due to their not so secret relations to the Zealots, Zarek and Jul'vi are watched very closely and kept on short leashes, especially since Jul'vi expressed some sympathy towards her parents' cause
Zarek is the poster child for faithful servant and studiously does all that is required of him; All Must Serve
At age 20, him and his sister were to go on their first mission off of Va'ruun'kai in order to prove their faith to the Great Serpent; upon completion, they would be permitted to return to Dazra and be given their traditional tattoos and places amongst society
He did have a small tattoo done before the pilgrimage; the mark of House Va'ruun in the center of his chest
Upon reaching United Colonies controlled space, their ship is fired upon without warning. The entire crew aboard, save for Zarek, is presumed dead. He only survived because he was wearing a spacesuit and had enough time to put a helmet on once the intial explosions began, but not before sustaining a nasty gash on his cheek from an ornamental relic that was on a shelf in the cargo hold
When he wakes up, he is on an unfamiliar ship belonging to a small time crime boss from Neon named Ezra Kaine; the scrapper who found him works for Mr. Kaine, who often works directly for the Seokguh Syndicate
Ezra gives him a proposition; in return for rescuing him and paying for his medical bills, he will help Zarek (who he calls Jarrett due to mishearing his name upon their introduction) get the funds to get off Neon and back to "wherever the hell you cult freaks come from" if Jarrett agrees to work for him. The alternative is framing him for a recent shipment of smuggled Aurora that one of Kaine's men was going to be locked up for
Scared, alone, and inconsolable due to the loss of his sister, Jarrett agrees but is quickly put into a catch-22 situation. The jobs start simple enough with decent pay, but soon Ezra gets him hooked on drugs and starts charging him for equipment and such that he uses during jobs he has him conducting; the amount owed always increases but the pay never does, and his increasing dependency on drugs and alcohol becomes a costly habit
Ezra sees Jarrett as an exotic pet, and takes advantage of him being naive and not used to life outside of V'ruun'kai. He soon decides to keep him around as his personal attack dog, and also begins to force him into sex work due to his unconventionally good looks, affectionately referring to him as his "Little Serpentine Whore" and marketing him as such; Jarrett can only be silent and obedient, some form of ultimatum always hanging over his head should he act out or try to escape
For over a decade, this is how Jarrett is forced to live; in a state of constant inebriation and servitude. He used to wonder what sin he had committed that the Great Serpent saw fit to punish him in such a way; he now wonders how he could have ever been foolish enough to believe there was a higher power in the universe at all
When he is about 33, he meets a man in the bathroom of the Astral Lounge who claims to know how to get back to Dazra and offers to help him get off of Neon; they begin to have secret rendezvous and hatch a plan for him to escape. Unbeknownst to him, this man is associated with his sister, who is alive but working alongside her parents to build up the Zealots. They want to bring him back into the fold, so to speak
The two end up falling in love over the course of the next couple of years, and for a long time Jarrett is able to hide the relationship from Ezra and eventually learns his mysterious lover's true identity; Zende'ji Ka'dic (and he also learns that he is actually a double agent sent by House Ka'dic to keep a particular sect of Zealots under control - his sister does not know this)
Just before they make their great escape, Zende'ji is killed by Neon City Security under false pretenses, a hit ordered by Ezra no doubt. Jarrett narrowly escapes by stowing away on a cargo vessel
The cargo vessel belongs to Argos Extractors and for the next several years he works under supervisor Lin without any issue, just thankful to keep his head low and be left alone mostly as he grieves
Start of the game happens; touches the Artifact, meets Barrett, joins up with Constellation (hey, it sure as hell beats working as a miner)
After getting Barrett back from Vectera and helping with various small tasks, the other members begin to trust him more as he has become a very quiet and withdrawn shell of a man
Becomes close with Andreja given that they are both from House Va'ruun
Becomes even closer with Sam Coe, enjoying the man's kind demeanor and positive outlook. They begin to spend a lot of time together and often partner up on missions to hunt down Artifacts for Constellation; everyone can tell before the two of them can that they are head over heels in love with each other (especially Sam's daughter, Cora, who absolutely adores Jarrett and loves teasing her dad about his crush)
Jarrett tries to join the Freestar Rangers, to help people and to bring Ezra to justice, after he successfully talks down some bank robbers in Akila City, but quickly decides the internal politics of the faction are not to his liking; still prefers them over the UC, who he holds a special resentment for after they destroyed his ship and his life nearly 2 decades ago, but would rather not be affiliated with them
After the Starborn begin showing up and attacking Constellation (after the point that Jarrett learns he has special powers gifted to him by the Artifacts and Temples), he initially wants to leave the Lodge and hide on a remote planet as he fears his presence there will jeopardize the other members of Constellation; Sam urges him to stay and he does
When the Eye is attacked while he is at the Lodge but Sam, Cora, and Andreja are aboard it, he initially hesitates to rush to their aid; Z shows up and tells him to get to the Eye, that he'll do his best to hold the Starborn off. Barrett dies when the Lodge is attacked without him there to protect it, but luckily with Z's help, Noel, Sarah, Walter, Vasco and Matteo barely escape alive with the other Artifacts
Sam is only okay because Jarrett got there just in then nick of time
Z talks to Jarrett and helps him realize his true feelings about Sam and the importance of the Unity, then apologizes and explains there are other universes he must be off to help align
After a few months of planning and Jarrett coming to terms with Barrett's death, him and Sam decide that they have to pursue finding the rest of the Artifacts and the Unity, to see what lies beyond
Matters of the Hart questline but with a twist; Lillian's work actually also helped bring down Ezra and his men in addition to the Seokguh Syndicate
Jarrett proposes to Sam (with Cora and Lillian's blessing) and the two are married
Through their adventures, they stumbled across a strange vessel that turns out to be an entire space station with a grav drive that originated on Va'ruun'kai
*Shattered Space DLC*
Helps to restore more order in Dazra, prevent a future Crusade, is forced to kill his sister (who killed their parents), restores some of his faith (in humanity, not so much gaint space snakes), and encourages the people of Va'ruun to ditch the tradition of having a Speaker from the Va'ruun family line and instead run the government more democratically - they adopt a sort of democratic theocracy and he figures that's good enough
This is about all I have fleshed out on major plot point for him since I still have yet to finish the game
Very important to note: he likes to dress like a space cowboy because of Sam :)
Top Right: Zarek Di'Kalf (please note; his tattoos and hair / piercings / makeup are really not accurate, but I worked with what I had in-game. He looks ugly in the screenshot, but he's supposed to be hauntingly gorgeous) - the most evil version of the character
Basically, in this universe, Zarek and his sister trade places. His upbringing and early life are nearly identical to Jarrett's, except that he leaned into his parent's beliefs very heavily
When saved from the ship by his parent's followers, he spends the next decade and a half on a small crusade of his own, intent on destroying those who would dare question the divinity of the Great Serpent
Cool Zarek Fact: instead of a small facial wound/scar like all of his alternate universe counterparts, he ends up with extensive burns on most of the right side of his body, though ironically his face is not touched
In this timeline, his sister (who goes by Julie due to her name being misheard) is rescued by a Freestar Ranger Lillian Hart who is hunting down Ezra Kaine and she joins up herself, convinced her brother may still be out there and intent on bringing the UC officers who killed her other friends to justice. She becomes her partner but Lillian is killed during the (albeit successful) takedown of Ezra Kaine and the Seokguh Syndicate
During her time with the Rangers, Julie meets Sam Coe, who later recruits her to Constellation after an injury puts her out of commission to serve
Sam is heartbroken over Lillian's death and never really gets over it
When she joins Constellation, she recognizes Andreja as they grew up together; the two become inseparable but are never quite able to express their true feelings for each other (tragic doomed yuri)
This version of Constellation doesn't really know much about the artifacts and they never get the chance to; Starborn kill most of them except for Julie, Sam, and Walter - Andreja's death is cause enough for Julie to set off on basically a suicide mission to avenge her lost lover, but Z ends up stopping her before she gets killed
Julie ends up becoming Z's sidekick and traveling universes with him
A resurgence of the Serpent's Crusade is a very real threat as Zarek has successfully helped Anasko in his goals back on Dazra
Zende'ji Ka'dic exists in this timeline too but as he was supposed to betray the Zealots, once Zarek learns of this he treats him in much the same way Ezra Kaine treats Jarrett in their timeline, only much more harshly
In this timeline, Sam and Lillian were happily married (comes into playing when Z crosses over into this timeline in hopes maybe there will be a Sam for him here but there is not; despite Sam being single, this version of him will never be over grieving the death of his pregnant wife - sorry but Sam gets the Typical Bethesda Man treatment a little bit here)
This is one of the worst universes outcome wise
Zarek becomes the new Speaker of house Va'ruun and subjugates Dazra and Va'ruun'kai as a whole to his will. He finds an artifact when Z slips up and accidently point him towards it, then pursues finding the rest in order to use their powers to further his nefarious goals
Julie is forced to kill him
Bottom Left: Zarek "Z" Coe - the most handsome version of the character (Also, he acts more like a keystone for every other universe's version of himself and also as an enforcer, snuffing out bad apples but trying to help the good ones along)
Raised on Dazra except his parents were killed by Zealots when he was about 15 and were not in fact Zealots themselves
This begins his disillusionment with religion and House Va'ruun
At age 20, he leaves of his own accord but is told that if he turns his back on House Va'ruun, he will be considered a traitor and an enemy; his boyfriend, Zende'ji, urges him to reconsider and to stay behind, but he declines; his sister agrees to come with him as she cannot bear the thought of being truly alone for the first time - heartbroken, Zendej'ii kills himself but Z doesn't learn this until many years later
Z and Jul'vi wind up on Neon and she gets mixed up with the Seokguh Syndicate while he is off planet working as a miner to get some sort of income to sustain them
When she goes missing, he turns to the Freestar Rangers and Lillian Hart and her partner, Sam Coe, are tasked with his case
They find his sister but it takes a few years and at this point she's been through more horrors than even Jarrett was forced to endure. She takes her own life as a result
(Due to his sister and his ex lover both taking their own lives, Z ends up getting some really bad attachment issues and becomes almost obsessive in his goals)
Sam and Lillian never fall for each other in this universe; instead, Sam and Z (which is the nickname Sam has used for him since they first met up) fall for each other pretty hard, hard enough to convince Sam to quit the Rangers and move to Neon full time to be with him
They spend several happy and raccous years together mostly working as mercs for hire (but never willing to stoop so low as to kill people)
They are married much sooner than in any other universe.
Lillian agrees to be their surrogate and Cora is born :)
It is on Neon that they meet Walter Stroud, who recruits them to Constellation after having used their services to take care of a contractor that wasn't paying up for his ship
They raise Cora together while working with Constellation and even purchase a really nice penthouse on Jemison
Given his experience with mining, when Barrett commissions the dig from Argos, Z goes along to help search for the Artifacts which is how he is initially exposed to them firsthand (he's obviously seen the few others back at the Lodge)
Most of everything else is the same as Jarrett in that they explore together and find many Artifacts as a pair
The biggest difference is that when the Starborn attack the Eye, Z stays at the Lodge to help defend it, resulting in Sam's death; this Cora is left traumatized having watched her father's death and becomes very quiet; it takes years for her to open up again
He also never goes back to Va'ruun'kai
He makes it his mission to find all the Artifacts so that he can go to another universe where, hopefully, Sam is still alive and he can save him this time. Becomes fiercely protective of Cora
He jumps universes, helping alternate versions of himself stay safe, still searching for one where he can find his soul mate again
He meets Jul'vi from Zarek's timeline (aka Julie) and they team up; Julie really loves being Cora's bad ass lesbian aunt, and together the trio is able to heal from their collective pasts and pave a way for better futures for alternate versions of themselves
Bottom Right: Jay (basically the chaotic evil version of the character)
A combination of Jarrett and Z, Jay is basically the 'evil' counterpart to Z much in the same way Zarek is to Jarret
His story follows Z's up until the point his sister takes her own life; after this, he goes off the deep end and ends up becoming a heavy Aurora user and pushes his only friends, Lillian and Sam, away
Goes by Jay because people often call him Jarrett due to mishearing his accent and he thinks that's a stupid fucking name and that Z is an equally stupid fucking name, but he also doesn't want to go by Zarek
He ends up working for the Crimson Fleet and becoming something of a renowned space scoundrel, with bounties in every settled system and lovers at every spaceport
When his ex, Zende'ji, hears of this, he tries to reach out and reason with Jay, who instead manages to convince Zende'ji to forsake House Va'ruun and "finally live a little"
The duo become fierce space pirates and respected members of the Crimson Fleet, though their story comes to a tragic and quick end when they try to steal an artifact from Petrov at the same time that Barrett is in negotiations to "legally acquire" the piece and they get caught up in the crossfire when Barrett takes the item but Starborn show up and prevent the whole thing
This is the version of the character I like to play as when I want to goof around and do evil and fucked up shit in the game
Jay is not meant to be taken very seriously
Fun facts that are true of all versions of the character:
Their facial structure is identical and they have a slight underbite, the main differences in appearance only being hair color or eye color and scar types / tattoos (or in Zarek's case a lack thereof)
There are technically infinite versions of him. A jokey one I like to think about is the shop au one where Sam works at space Starbucks aka Terrabrew but Jarrett works at space McDonald's aka Chunks. Just a very goofy timeline where nothing bad happens and the Starborn stay away from it due to how dull it is there. I guess technically they'd be the happiest versions of themselves as a result, just as thrncost of having to be food service workers. Very sad.
He speaks with a very pronounced Va'ruun accent
There is a universe where him and Sam trade places in that everything else plays out the same as Jarrett's universe except Sam is Jarrett (Sahm Koh) and Jarrett is Sam (Jedediah "Jed" DeCaffrey). Jed and Lillian's son is named Corona and takes the place of Cora in this universe. They also swap personalities more or less.
Across most universes, he prefers pistols and shotguns to most other types of weapons
He is about 6' 2"
His favorite Chunks menu item is the Chunk Cheesesteak, and his Terrabrew order is a Large Hot Sugar Free Caramel Latte with 3 shots of espresso
#starfield#oc: jarrett coe#starfield oc#gray speaks#i spent like 3 hours typing this out in my phone 😭#please please please send me asks about him he's currently my favorite OC

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles ➳ Archives ➳ Operation Javier ➳ Files
The Sacred Serpents Crime Syndicate
Organised and led by Javier, it is a crime syndicate with a firm presence in South America. It has a code of absolute obedience to its leader, based on a system of "control through fear" which brutally punishes traitors without exception.
Written Orders
This is a special mission which is not in accordance with normal operational regulations. Consent to the operative to the following must be given prior to the beginning of the mission.
1. Release of protective responsibilities. Neither the government nor the person(s) in charge of operational command shall be held responsible for injury, illness, or death to the operative during the execution of their duties. Also, in the case that the operative is captured by hostile forces neither the government nor the person(s) in charge of operational command shall be compelled to negotiate with the operative's captors in any way on their behalf.
2. If during the execution of the operative's duties, there is no contact from the operative for a period of more than 24 hours, the mission will be considered a failure, and the directorate of operations will be withdrawn and dispersed.
From the operation starting point, the operative will begin their mission following the steps below.
1: Make contact with the local coadjutant.
2: Secure local transportation.
3. Infiltrate private residence of the target.
Also, give procedural directives to full time operator as necessary.
This substance of this mission is subject to gradual revision based on the local situation.
The operative will always do as instructed.
The Waterside Village
There is building animosity toward Javier's cold and merciless organization, and many locals are waiting for the opportunity to rebel. The influential and powerful people of Mixcoatl village (affectionately known as Waterside Village), as well as the United States and the local government have formed a coalition to expel Javier, and have been amassing military strength.
With their cooperation (provision of transportation and local guides), Leon and Krauser plan to head to Javier's mansion.
Javier Dam
A large dam built under the order of Javier. It has a total reservoir storage capacity of 20 billion tons.
Inhabitants of this remote area which previously didn't have adequate electricity, feel indebted to Javier for having brought them the power generation facility. It is also touted as having contributed to raising the standard of living and financial status of his organization.
Originally, it was built to secure a large source of electricity to be used solely by Javier's organization, and also to be a nonverbal threat to districts under its control.
The dam has a complex floodgate which Javier could release and induce a massive flood disaster on areas downstream whenever he pleased.
One such example is when Javier caused an obviously intentional water discharge "accident" in an area inhabited by a defiant tribe. The entire village of 80 people was killed.
Get-Well Card
To our dear friend, Manuela. Are you feeling any better? Yesterday the whole class made a flowerbed, we planted seeds for all kinds of flowers.
Hopefully in the spring, there'll be lots of flowers blooming. We left a spot open in the flowerbed just for you when you get back.
We all know how strong and brave you are. We know that you will get better. soon. We are all looking forward to you coming back to school, and seeing your smiling face again.
Next month, is our school festival. We hope you can join us for the gift exchange.
Class representative, Delsey
Javier's Private Messages
(The following are decrypted text messages which were sent and received from a mobile device.)

from: Sergio
to: Javier
Umbrella is making a fuss over the sale price of the samples. They want 50% more than they did for the old ones. Do you want to extend the contract?
20XX 08.13 PM6.28
from: Javier
to: Sergio
Get the same price as before. Don't let them scam you into thinking they have other buyers. Also, I want you to check out the background of the Asian broker who approached us before.
20XX 08.14 AM1.09
from: Sergio
to: Javier
The broker talked. It looks like Umbrella was cooking their books. He says that they were overcharging for those samples.
But now he's spouting this nonsense about how we should give him information about our sales turf in exchange for the info he gave us.
20XX 08.14 AM1.12
from: Javier
to: Sergio
Find out more. I'll do some research on this side.
20XX 08.14 AM11.24
from: Javier
to: Sergio
I've obtained some interesting information. That Asian man, he's a spy for Umbrella. Get him to trust you, and send him back
Find out where he's staying, and after you eliminate him, tear the place apart. There could be other spies. I will crush anyone who tries to deceive me without exception.
Note (Manuela's Realization)
A frightening vision has become a reality.
I have lost sense of who I am.
I don't know what I am or what it is I am becoming.
Javier's Mansion
An expansive compound in a place called Amparo nestled deep in the jungle. This is only Javier's private residence, the base of his criminal organization is located elsewhere. Even so, this compound is very well-protected against invasion by guerillas and government forces.
Although its standing mercenary garrison is small, numerous B.O.W.s, traps, and the latest defense systems are deployed all around. Rather than "residence", the term "fortified castle" would be a more appropriate description for the well-guarded compound.
There is also a bomb shelter in the basement to which Javier can retreat in an emergency. The compound is also built to withstand such extraordinary situations as floods and biological disasters.
Javier's Memorandum (1991)
February 24th
That man... he seems to have ties to the Ashford family, but I don't fully trust him.
But, I'm interested in the information he has about virus therapy. For Hilda it is now or never.
I believe he called it "T"... Tomorrow I will give it a try.
April 30th
I'm glad to see that Hilda is doing better. Administrating the virus evidently has worked. Two months later, she has regained her strength. The cancer that was spreading through her body has miraculously disappeared.
Now I only have to wait until she regains conciousness. Hilda, I will make you well again, no matter if I have to sacrifice everything.
May 6th
Even for all the good he's done, I can't believe that pretentious bastard thinks he can raise the price on me. I have found another channel by which to obtain "T". This one is called "V" and I am told that it is a more perfect virus.
I need to find out if that is indeed true. If he thinks he can get away with taking advantage of me, he's in for a rude awakening. It's not about the money. No one makes a fool of me.
May 11th
Why? Why doesn't she regain conciousness? Her body has long since recovered... I don't understand it. It is due to more than just her will to live.
Could it be a side-effect of the virus? But if I stop administrating it to her, she will become weak again. I still don't have any information about "V". What should I do...?
May 20th
God, I curse you. Is that what life is? Is life just simply being alive? Oh Hilda, don't leave me. I can't lose you!
June 14th
To question the meaning of life is folly. I have the power and the means to fulfill my mission. That mission is to keep her alive.
Soon I will move Hilda to a special facility. I can't make any more of a public spectacle out of her. Hilda's life is in my hands. And I must protect her.
Veronica Plant
A thing born as a byproduct of Manuela's reanimation. Javier secretly cultivated the Veronica Plant in his mansion's green house. It is stronger than T-type BOWs by far, while having a much lower operating cost.
By dispersing its spores, it has the power to transform neighboring vegetation into Veronica Plants as well. The speed at which they can spread is astounding. Presumably, in only 48 hours, it could invade 60% of the Amazon. Practically speaking, this extremely dangerous organism could destroy a continent's entire ecological system within a matter of days.
Once it starts to spread its spores, there is practically no effective method of containment. Even Javier considers this BOW to be his trump card only to be used as a last resort, and keeps it under lock and key.
Communications from Wesker (Faxed Documents)
08/01 10:00
I changed the deposit account. Terminate all Russian routes.
08/07 10:01
I will send a list of the merchandise this month. Two new types of stationary B.O.W.s have been added.
08/14 10:05
I have an answer to the question you asked on the phone. Just as you thought, the Asian woman works for Umbrella. She's not just a rat that got out. She's a bat that's still sucking the blood. If we're going to use her, we'll have to do it carefully.
08/21 10:00
I've verified the deposit. About the matter of the bat, they are being very cautious. Don't frighten them too much.
CODE: Remnants
Javier's own covert viral weapons development and operation program. Javier's desire to operate his own T-based B.O.W.s, and control the entire Amazon ecosystem is the backbone of the program.
After failing to revive Hilda, Javier became unable to trust outsiders (namely Umbrella).
So, he decided to have people in his own organization research and verify the usability of his B.O.W.s. (Since he had no high-level research facilities, the primitive experimentation on living humans was the main method of data acquisition.)
T-type B.O.W.s (mostly zombies) were used as propagators of terror against hostile forces in the area, such as communist insurgents.
The United States and other foreign nations learned of Javier's readiness and willingness to destroy the environment on a global-scale (ie. ravish the Amazon's capacity to produce CO2), and now seek to keep him in check through brute force intervention and economic sanctions.

Oh, is that DENALI DE LA CRUZ? I heard the TWENTY FIVE year old is CLEVER. But don’t let that pretty face fool you, they are also SARCASTIC. Makes sense seeing how they are a Black Hat Hacker in the SYNDICATE gang.
𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐒 ;
Name: Denali De La Cruz
Nicknames: Nali, Dee
Age: 25
DOB: December 30th, 1999
Zodiac: Capricorn
Gender: Nonbinary
Pronouns: They/She
Sexuality: queer (wlw leaning)
Tattoos: Too many to count (canon to Lizeth's)
Piercings: Multiple on the ears & septum
Pets: Pitbull named Kitana, Xoloitzcuintli named Luna
𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 ;
Theme Song: Headlock by Imogen Heap
Traits: Clever, independent, sarcastic, blunt
Moral Alignment: True Neutral
Deadly Sin: Pride
Pinterest
𝐁𝐈𝐎 ;
Trigger warnings: mentions of kidnapping
Born into the De La Cruz family, and the youngest at that, Denali didn't feel the automatic pressure to follow directly into the Serpents path. Their parents were far more concerned with the firstborn(s) of the family upholding their expectations.
Truth be told, at that time, Denali was unaware of the family business or the fact that De La Cruz's were even a founding family for a good chunk of her childhood. For all she knew, all these people that were in their lives were considered 'family' or family friends, and Andres' favorite child was Gabe seeing as he lived in their father's shadow absorbing and learning, these were just the facts Denali accepted as a kid.
They grew up loved and privileged and her siblings would probably say Denali got the easier end of things, maybe even babied more than they were. Though, a lot of that is thanks to Rosalia looking out for Denali and shielding her from things she'd seen. Every once in a while Nali would notice strange things, always ushered away whenever they'd been lurking or 'playing' near a door she most definitely shouldn't have been eavesdropping in..
Life would turn upside down for them at the age of thirteen when Rosa went missing. Devastated at the loss of her sister and confidant, the person she looked up to most, it was the first time they'd ever felt fear and the first she'd truly see her parents and family for who and what they were. Andres and Ileana pulled Denali out of school for fear of the family being targeted once more, especially as she'd been the youngest and the easiest target next; didn't matter how much money or guards and soldiers they had in their corner, they wanted Denali at home where they could keep all eyes on her.
There was a lot of resentment that grew being under her parents strict rules, feeling trapped at home and in Rosa's shadow.. Even if Denali knew why they were being over-protective. With all the extra time on their hands once she was done with her homeschooling, Denali would start to get into things their parents most definitely didn't want them getting into. At first, it was simply getting into a laptop or two, seeing and reading things Nali had no business learning just yet, which eventually led to her seeking more information and then stumbling onto the dark web in search of signs of Rosa or anything, really.
Although trying to find signs of their older sister was a bust, Denali had become aware of everything else. Looking at their options for what the future would look like, there was no way Denali wanted to become a soldier in the Serpents, or a capo having to look after those in the ranks beneath them, much to their parents dismay and pressure for her to follow the path and legacy they'd built with the other founding families. This really birthed a whole shit ton of arguments between Denali and Andres, mostly, and screaming matches between the teen and her parents, deeming her as the problem child.. Though, things became even more clear when on his deathbed, their dad named Lucky as the head of their family.
If she'd joined the Serpents, Denali would just be working as a dog for years without seeing much reward or satisfaction, so they set out to live for themself instead. Going to college granted them much more freedom, continuing their education in tech as it'd been something they'd already picked up years ago from hardware taking things apart and putting them back together, to software coding and ethical hacking that quickly became highly unethical.. Becoming part of the Syndicate's wasn't part of Nali's plan but something they'd stumbled upon. Maybe Denali accepted a job or two from them, the pay was good, really good. And well, the rest is history.
𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 ;
Okay so right now this is what I can come up with on the spot but I'm down to brainstorm with people
Ex Childhood friends, besties, whatever. Esp from other founding families since they'd know each other? Maybe no longer friends due to being in different gangs
Ex partner / situationship -- I'm thinking someone in the serpents that was tasked/urged to get into a relationship with Nali to get them to stay and become loyal to the Serpents. Something her dad would've set up before he died, it was a messy breakup too, we can plot whether your character did like Denali or not. Idk we can have fun figuring it out
Hookups, friends, enemies

why has no one asked about Ylrith yet??? please tell us more about Ylrith
:3c
In all fairness, I don’t post about her that much. Mostly because I’m not currently working on any stories that directly involve her so she’s not in my brain as much. I LOVE her, I’m just more focused on the characters I work with more often lol
But basically: poly lesbian mob boss with a snake obsession
She’s the head honcho of a centuries-old crime syndicate called The Gray Order. Ylrith (il-rith) herself usually goes by “The Gray Matron”, but her enemies have given her a plethora of other, similarly sinister names. By now, the Order has connections all across Azeroth, in most any faction worth a damn. The opening up of Kalimdor to the rest of the world was one of the best things to happen to her.
The Order specializes in smuggling drugs, weapons, and other illicit items, but Ylrith will ferry war refugees to safer lands too, and other such things. All she wants is money and more people under her thumb — if you have the money, or are willing to do a favor for her, she’ll help you do what it is you want done. Her trademark phrase isn’t “A favor for a favor, darling” for nothing. Of course, she’s a master of wordcraft, and often gets people to promise more than they think. She’s also got informants everywhere — brothels in the big cities, innkeepers, compromised city guards, and so on — and thus is master of blackmail. You go to her to discuss a deal, you say something she doesn’t like, and she’ll drop a detail about your life you thought no one else knew.
She also has an EXTENSIVE snake collection of species from all over Azeroth and even beyond. If we’re being realistic a lot of the money she makes goes into caring for them lmao she just really loves snakes <3 In fact I was leaning so hard into the snake thing I decided to just say she’s (the elf equivalent of) autistic because no neurotypical person could possibly be that into snakes KSBXBJD Which makes her my second autistic night elf, the first being Cathala 💜 Yet another win for lesbians.
The third key thing about her is the upper crust of the Order are all in a sapphic polycule. They use their powers of polyamory for evil (affectionate). Ylrith is also kind of(?) a “lesbian femme fatale type”. One of her favorite activities is fucking with the royalty of patriarchal cultures like humans by seducing the wives of powerful men and then helping them kill their husbands, the end result being Ylrith now has control over that piece of land at best, and that rich woman’s loyalty at worst. It’s enrichment for her.
Now for more art. This first one is her and her spymaster/favorite assassin/girlfriend Delphine Kaltel, a.k.a. The Serpent’s Fang. Originally Delphine had actually been hired to kill Ylrith but it was an enemies-to-lovers thing <3
This one’s her and her blue dragon girlfriend Tyalagosa, who’s sort of her “court” mage, I suppose:
(She has more gfs/people in the Order’s upper crust, those are just the only two I’ve named, designed, and drawn. One I have yet to draw is Evelyn Torvannas, another Nightborne. She’s the head of a fairly powerful merchant family in Suramar.]
One showing off her other tattoo:
And her voice claim :) (Morrigan from Dragon Age: Inquisition)
Plus this dumb meme that sums her up perfectly imo:
I also like to imagine she has the stupidest most cartoonish rivalry with Shaw lmao. She doesn’t see him as a threat whatsoever and loves toying with the funny little human man, while he fucking HATES her because she’s got her tendrils all up in the Alliance but always worms her way out of repercussions. WLW and MLM hostility.

@nerodifiore location: weapons safehouse (aka rafes)
The money was his. But as much as anyone else needed to know, the weapons would be for the Syndicate's potential use. It wasn't exactly secret, that while the high tech criminal gang had a foothold in places that the other factions couldn't dream of - in terms of muscle, they had very little. Hence, the need for their alliances - and while Donovan intended to play the Serpents and the Crimsons, Rafe didn't. "We're not talking a lot, nothing that might raise any sort of suspicion, even to whatever crew you use to move the shipment. I have two locations, both under my direct surveillance, we'd like to alternate every few months."
