A very, VERY detailed look into Raccoon City Ada

Note: The majority of the screenshots in this post were taken in RE4, of Ada's mercenaries outfit. But that costume is definitely supposed to be a remake of RE2 Ada. First off they're just quite similar, pretty much the same dress in a different color and the same belt. But what makes me really confident that the RE4 mercenaries fit was effectively the first RE2 Ada remake design was that both Chronicles games reused it. I'll put a texture comparison at the end of this post, aside from some lighting differences and differences due to the UC Ada being injured, they're identical. The Chronicles games aren't the best for screenshotting details due to the fixed camera and the lighting, so after taking a dozen screenshots of DSC Ada that all looked pretty bad, I realized it made the most sense to primarily use RE4 and Umbrella Chronicles gameplay screenshots, with only some Darkside Chronicles cutscene screenshots. I also included some art taken from the Darkside Chronicles art book and the RE wiki, and dumped textures from all three games.

Textures Comparison

⬑ For the sake of time, I didn't include all the textures, just enough for you to get the idea. But the rest of the textures are as similar as the examples. The only one that's completely unique to a single game is the UC bandaged hand. The only other major differences is that the UC skin and leg sheets have bandages on them (and rips in the tights) but what's under the bandages are the same basic sheets.

And to really prove my point, here's what UC Ada looks like if you replace all of her textures with DSC textures:

There's some funkiness, like certain areas that always load transparent no matter what, and the shadows where her DSC gear is supposed to go that she doesn't have in UC. But over all, you can still tell that they're similar.

Going from UC to other games is trickier. RE4/DSC have less textures because most of them are symmetrical so they only use one texture for two areas. Whereas UC has more because she has different bandages on each of her arms and legs. The cutouts on the dress also don't work because in RE4/DSC there's not supposed to be anything transparent, so the game will load opaque areas as black instead. But I am nothing if not thorough, so here's RE4 merc Ada with some UC textures:

folder isn't at all organized currently, it will be sorted by character (and miscellaneous) at some point.

The link includes a document with a brief tutorial on how to use them as well as some outfit cheat codes I've gathered :) I didn't playtest these through an entire playthrough, so it's possible I missed some textures because every character has multiple sets for various scenes. So if you start playing with some of the textures and they're all working alright at first but the character(s) randomly revert to their regular textures, send me an ask or dm me telling me which character(s) and at what point in the game it happened and I'll be able to fix it. (You can also dm me if you need help getting them to work in the first place, I'm not used to writing tutorials for stuff like this so I'm not sure if my instructions are clear enough!) ☕️

I'll definitely make any basic edits on request, like UI's with different pride flags, adding symbols onto clothing, changing hair or eye colors, etc., because those can be done very quickly. I'm also open to more involved requests, but it'll be more case-by-case, I just can't promise that I'll fulfill every single request when it comes to things that can be very time consuming. But don't hesitate to make more complicated requests; the worst thing that could happen is I say no, the best thing that could happen is I get really inspired and do fulfill it :)

getting closer! did preview collages for all the characters and wrote the brief tutorial and the outfit cheat codes.

I recently re-learned that Hunk's face makes an appearance in Dark Side Chronicles, is that something you think you can find/reveal? I've seen the screenshot of it reflected in the G-vial

The screenshot you sent is actually from Umbrella Chronicles, not Darkside :) He only has one very brief appearance in Darkside, just a brief flashback to him killing William.

Unfortunately the Chronicles games use a mix of pre-rendered cutscenes and cutscenes that actually use models on the fly. The pre-rendered cutscenes can't be edited in any way. If you try dumping textures during a pre-rendered cutscene, all you'll get is just the frames of the cutscene. In the interest of being thorough, I did dump the textures for Hunk's model, but as you can see there's no face. His face is only visible in the pre-rendered ending cutscene so there's no reason for them to have given his model a face.

The best I can do is a screenshot of the cutscene with some graphic enhancing emulator settings on and then manually making some brightness/color adjustments in an editing app to make it clearer:
