I wanted to draw a selkie so bad, I just adore harp seals and their freckle spots. I have also been thinking so hard about @naffeclipse orca au. Just imagine getting a nose kiss from this little fella with all the whiskers. 🦭✨♥️🦭

So yall know, I have... THREE Selkie (ish) ideas. I have the Extinction!Selkie au (which is probably gonna be Jon x Foggyskies lbr) I have The Selkie of Vauxhall Bridge, which is Jmart because I need Martin to have to deal with a pissy selkie jon, though I don't know anything about the overarching plot yet) and finally I have (selkie adjacent? landselkie?) The Beast in your Heart (La bête dans ton Coeur) which is very dead dovey and Jonelias all the way down! Not for the faint of heart

a silly fluffy/romantic bunch of doodles from a stream the other night. i made up the lore on selkie marriage on the spot, but it's now canon in the seamonster/selkie aus that some selkies refer to being married as being 'for forever' (as in together forever). and it's also now canon that Pirate Eclipse has a big fur-lined coat that he wears whenever meeting other ships and Seamonster Reader gets flustered every time bc it's him blatantly showing off that he is their Husband and he is Extremely Proud Of This and he can and will make it 90% of his personality
