Leo [FNAF SB, Renegade AU]
https://www.deviantart.com/paigelts05/art/1096286959
Published: Sep 8, 2024
Leo would probably say he's normal. His parents are pretty frugal, he still lives with them because his job pays peanuts and he can't afford to live anywhere nearby, and the head of his department at the Megaplex faked his death.
One of those things isn't normal? Thought not.
Leo's general defiance at the prospect of getting both of his jobs - day shift security and Mazersize controller - replaced by a robot put a target on his back. Robots are no good at sneaking parents through staff only areas to find kids or smuggling kids out of staff only areas. Robots are bad at vaulting the maze tiles and giving people a leg up to get out of a death trap dead end.
He hung around the night shift guards a lot as the end of his shift generally overlapped with the start of theirs, and he showed Sylvia the ropes of the best ways to get people of all sizes through the megaplex almost immediately, whilst she helped him drill in anti-animatronic combat. Due to this skill exchange, Leo quickly became the go-to for anyone dealing with Chica trying to nick their lunch, and Sylvia had become an expert in smuggling investigators in and through the megaplex and sneaking kids out of danger zones and to safety.
When Faz Ent inevitably got sick of him, they set a trap: they forced the staff terminal deep in the daycare theatre's backstage to glitch out, making it appear as if the bot he had trained to do busywork had gone offline.
Leo fell for the bait. He found the bot stacking shelves as he had taught it, and went to the daycare theatre's staff terminal to report that everything was fine, but once he reached the terminal and realised that it was glitching out, it was too late. The trap was sprung: the endos all activated and were homing in on him.
The endos had backed Leo into a corner, but in a twist of fate, Sylvia had come to rescue him. All she asked of him to do in order for this to work was for him to give her his full trust.
After telling her that he trusted her, he doesn't remember much: he remembers her darting behind him and feeling a needle in his neck, and then waking up at home nine hours later. According to what he was later told, Sylvia had knocked him out stashed him in a cleaning trolley and kept him in a hidden room behind the daycare so that the only animatronics that would go back there would leave him alone: the daycare attendant would leave him be as it would believe that he was dead, Roxy never goes close enough to the theatre to be an issue, and everything else including the endos wouldn't find him in the trolley. He was also informed that in the morning, Sylvia handed him over to an 'accomplice' who took him from the megaplex and delivered him home.
Faz Ent reported him as dead and tried to frame 'V' - a nickname a few people had for Sylvia, as most of the staff knew her by her legal forename 'Vanessa' - for his disappearance, but that went nowhere, seeing as Sylvia's accomplice in her rescue mission was the local chief, Carl Burke himself.
Existing was rather awkward for a while after, not knowing if his debit card would work or not, not knowing if he could apply for jobs or not because of the whole probably legally dead thing, but he did know one thing: Faz Ent didn't consider him an employee anymore, they considered him a corpse, so he wasn't going to go back to that job.
Fortunately he was not declared legally dead, just missing.
But other than that, his life went back to normal very quickly. He found a new job, and it was almost as if that night under the daycare theatre never happened, but sometimes, a grim reminder resurfaces, be that be someone shocked to see him alive, or people looking at him like they saw a ghost.
But he's alive, and that's what matters.

Trolley Episode 9 recap
Hye-joo discovers a shocking piece of information about Ji-hoon’s death. Meanwhile, Soo-bin disappears from home.
Hye-joo found a message on Ji-hoon’s phone. This led her to realize that Ji-hoon’s death was not an accident, but a suicide.
Hye-joo tries to collect herself and walks to Soo-bin’s room. But she finds out that Soo-bin has already left the house. What Hye-joo wants to know is what Ji-hoon said before he decided to end his life. Because the phone records show that Soo-bin was the last person Ji-hoon talked to. Hye-joo thinks that Soo-bin might be staying at a single mother’s shelter.
Soo-bin goes to find her mother. After her mother abandoned her, they haven’t seen each other for more than ten years. She tells her mother that she is pregnant, but her mother doesn’t seem to care at all. At that moment, a high school girl student walks in, this girl is the new daughter of her mother, named “Yoon-seo” (the same name as Hye-joo’s daughter.) The sound of her mother talking to the new child is different from the sound of talking to her. Soo-bin could only feel a little heartbroken.
After that, Soo-bin goes to see her mother again, but her mother still has a cold attitude towards her and when Soo-bin asked about her new daughter, her mother’s mood immediately worsened. “How would you know? If you just go to compete with Yoon-seo, I’ll kill you.”
Hearing this from her mother, Soo-bin’s eyes well up with tears immediately. “I don’t ask for anything, mom. I just wish you happiness with your new child.” Soo-bin can’t help but wonder how much pain and deep heartache a mother’s rejection can cause. Her mother’s behavior is like that of a stranger and Soo-bin’s tears won’t stop flowing. She throws her phone to her mother and quickly turns around and walks out.
Politician of the Human Race
Meanwhile, the opposing politician finds out that the girl who became a victim of the medical student is a sex worker. When this news comes out, public opinion immediately views the law that Rep. Nam Joong-do is being pushed as meaningless.
After that, Nam Joong-do releases a video of his visit to the parents of the medical student. It’s a video where he just stood by and let the parents of the medical student vent without interruption, and allowed his assistant, Woo-jae, to secretly record the video for political gain. It’s a video that was staged for political gain!
After the aforementioned video was released. Public opinion began to change, shifting back to supporting Nam Joong-do once again. This is politics, the people who are said to be the owners of power, but in reality, they are just tools that politicians use to justify their actions. Even Nam Joong-do, who is almost considered a model politician, is no exception. All that he is, is just a facade created for political gain. This is called “Politician of the human race.” No matter the country, they are all the same.

'Trolley' Park Hee-soon proposes to Kim Hyun-joo..
Park Hee-soon proposed to Kim Hyun-joo.
In the 10th episode of SBS 'Trolley' (directed by Kim Moon-gyo/played by Ryu Bo-ri), which aired at 10 pm on the 17th, a conversation between Kim Hye-joo (Kim Hyun-joo) and Nam Jung-do (Park Hee-soon) was drawn.
On this day's broadcast, Kim Hye-joo told Nam-jung-do not to overdo it, and Nam-jung-do asked Kim Hye-ju if a used car was okay. Kim Hye-joo said, "I like used cars," and added, "It's even better because Secretary Choi's father works on used cars."
Namjung-do affectionately said to Kim Hye-joo, “You did well,” and said, “Then I will return,” and Kim Hye-joo hugged and comforted Nam-jung-do. The two exchanged affectionate glances, and Namjungdo immediately left the house.
Namjungdo immediately met Jang Woo-jae (played by Kim Moo-yeol). Jo Gwi-soon (played by Won Mi-won) served her meal, telling the two of them to eat breakfast. To the two eating, Gwi-soon Cho said, "I'm not completely relaxed yet, but please use this old man to your heart's content."
Previously, Jang Woo-jae visited Cho Gwi-soon separately and suggested, "You heard that her granddaughter is a victim, but the perpetrator committed suicide, so you heard a bad story." To Nam Jung-do, who was surprised, Jo Gwi-soon said, "Please fix that bastard's law instead." In response, Namjungdo said, “I promise you.”
On the other hand, Jin Seung-hee (played by Ryu Hyeon-kyung) told Choi Ki-young (played by Ki Tae-young), "I'll take the bus after you do your business, so go down first." Choi Ki-young said, "Where are you going?" Then, Jin Seung-hee said, "I will go to Kim Jae-eun and call him a murderer in front of everyone."
Choi Ki-young said, "Really why?" and she said, "It shouldn't be like that." Then, Jin Seung-hee said, "My family is having such a hard time because of Kim Jae-eun's lie, but Kim Jae-eun seems to be living a normal life, so I can't see him even if I die."
When Choi Ki-young sighed, Jin Seung-hee said, "I am your family, so why don't you trust me?" Then Choi Ki-young said, "Let's go to Australia" and "Let's just throw everything away and leave."
However, Jin Seung-hee said, "I'm sorry, but I can't leave her mother alone." After that, Choi Ki-young called Nam Joong-do. Choi Ki-young said, "I want to give evidence of land speculation by my mother-in-law and Rep. Kang Soon-hong (Jang Gwang-bun)," she said, raising tension. Nam Seung-do, who received the information, immediately went to Kang Soon-hong.
Returning home, Namjoong-do told Kim Hye-joo, "Jin Seung-hee's uncle, Rep. Kang Soon-hong, found out that you were my wife." Nam Joong-do said to Kim Hye-joo, "Let's just reveal it to you first." "The evidence you gave me today was correct, but I don't believe Choi Ki-young, and it could be that he was arguing with Kang Soon-hong and hitting me in the back of the head."
Then she said, "Even if Choi Ki-young is on our side, there is Kim Seung-hee and her mother in that house." But Kim Hye-joo said, "You don't know how painful it is to hear that someone died because of me." Nam Joong-do said, "I killed that medical student, why don't I know?" and said, "I will trust you and wait."

💬 Joy News 24: Kim Hyunjoo Interview on The Bequeathed
(Interview) Actress Kim Hyunjoo delivers a passionate performance as Yoon Seoha, the heir in the Netflix series "The Bequeathed"
"Feeling exhilarated by expressing emotions honestly, grateful to director Yeon Sang-ho for discovering a new side of me"
Following "Trolley," her second collaboration with Park Hee-soon, "A considerate and warm person with much to learn from"
[JoyNews24 Reporter Park Jinyoung] Actress Kim Hyunjoo has left a strong impression by revealing a new side of herself through "The Bequeathed" that has never been seen before. She expressed feeling liberated by her first experience with swearing in acting and gratitude towards director Yeon Sangho for bringing out a newness in her that she herself had not discovered. She also showed deep trust for Park Heesoon, with whom she has worked on two consecutive projects.
Released last month, the Netflix series "The Bequeathed" is a story that unfolds with eerie incidents and secrets revealed following the inheritance of a forgotten ancestral land after the death of a distant uncle. The project was planned and scripted by Yeon Sangho, known for "Train to Busan" and "Hellbound," with director Min Hongnam, who was the assistant director for "Train to Busan," "Psychokinesis," and "Peninsula," taking on the direction and screenplay.
"The Bequeathed," planned with the intention of delving into the raw facets of Korean families through the theme of ancestral land, has completed a peculiar and somewhat eerie story focused on the desires of each character. The tension arising from the relationships between characters and the intrigue of uncovering the truth behind a murder case provide enough momentum to comfortably carry the series through to its sixth episode.
Kim Hyunjoo, playing Yoon Seoha, who inherits the ancestral land and becomes entangled in ominous events, shared the screen with Park Heesoon as detective Choi Seongjun, Park Byungeun as detective squad leader Park Sangmin, and Ryu Kyungsoo as Seoha's half-brother Kim Youngho, demonstrating remarkable chemistry. Particularly, Kim Hyunjoo has shown an exceptional acting synergy with Park Heesoon in "The Bequeathed," following their collaboration in the SBS drama "Trolley." Additionally, after working on the "Hellbound" series and "Jung_E," Kim continues her collaboration with director Yeon Sangho in "The Bequeathed," solidifying her position as Yeon Sangho's muse. Below is a Q&A with Kim Hyunjoo.
Do you look up audience reactions?
"I haven't looked them up myself, but people around me have informed me. I think the reaction is better than I expected. I tend not to enjoy watching my own work. I see flaws and shortcomings first, which makes it difficult for me to view my work objectively. It's been the same with other projects."
What were the disappointments and highlights of "The Bequeathed" for you?
"I didn't think of myself as the protagonist. There are aspects where the character should stand out and lead, but I didn't consider it deeply. I regret not having enough strength to carry the entire work. The highlight was that I usually suppress my emotions and keep my voice down in my acting. This time, I wanted to express my emotions honestly and realistically, and the viewers also found it refreshing and appreciated it. I felt exhilarated and enjoyed filming."
What motivated you to work with director Yeon Sang-ho again?
"While I was filming 'Jung_E,' the story of 'The Bequeathed' came up. He was preparing it and suggested I read it. I thought it was a character that would bring a change in my acting tone, and it had the fun of solving mysteries. At times, I wasn't sure if it was interesting, but then I became curious, and Yoon Seoha's emotions built up and eventually exploded."
Why do you think you were cast in this project?
"I wonder about that myself, but I sincerely appreciate that he sees something in me that even I may not be aware of and entrusts me with the character. I want to try various roles, but if they're not offered, I can't do them. However, the director discovers aspects of me that even I doubt or am unaware of and entrusts me with the role. It makes the challenges and fears seem irrelevant on set. I think bringing out a new aspect of an actor is one of the greatest strengths a director can have. I'm grateful, but I still don't know exactly what he trusts in me. (laughs)"
You clarified that while you're not a muse for director Yeon Sangho, you've been described as his persona. What do you think about that?
"I don't think I inspire or contribute to the creation of his works. It seems more like I was nearby while he was preparing, my acting wasn't bad, and he wanted to work comfortably, so it naturally happened."
You mentioned being "cinematic colleagues." Does this mean you communicate well regarding work?
"It's something we understand without having to speak. When we talk about characters or the project, saying one thing can be as good as saying ten. We have that level of experience with each other. I think that's why he considers us colleagues. I debuted at a young age, and we're of similar ages, so there's a sense of having lived through similar times. I believe he supports me as an actor who has watched me for a long time. It's not just me; I hope many actors continue to show new sides of themselves and remain active for a long time."
What kind of conversations do you have with director Yeon Sangho?
"On set, we mostly talk about the work, but we don't meet up often personally. Our personal acquaintance isn't that deep. (laughs) We talk about old times and future plans. It's just a few close people sharing conversations."
It was your first time performing swearing in acting. How did that feel?
"It felt really good and new. I'm not someone who enjoys swearing normally. However, it turned out to be one of the ways to define the character. I wanted to try such acting, but I never had the right character for it before. I thought Yoon Seoha could be that character. In reality, we swear quite often, don't we? I wanted it to look realistic in that aspect. There was one line written in the script. The rest was improvised. People who are not good at expressing their feelings end up swearing. In that sense, I thought it matched Seoha well. From an acting standpoint, it was liberating. There were more, but some got edited out. Too much swearing isn't good, so I thought it was appropriate."
Is there a part of the Seoha character you could relate to?
"I can't express anger. I'm the type to go home and scream. But playing Seoha, I could bring it out. I think I had that in me too."
You worked consecutively with actor Park Heesoon, who was your husband in 'Trolley,' and now Park Sunghoon has become your husband in this series. Despite both characters being undesirable as husbands (laughs), I'm curious about the chemistry.
"...I thought it wouldn't be hard, but then I couldn't do my lines when shooting 'The Bequeathed.' I saw (Park Heesoon's) face and tears came out. I was still in 'Trolley,' seeing this person as my husband, and realised shooting like this was hard. I said I couldn't look at his face and caused several NGs. In 'Trolley,' he was a good memory and a husband who loved me. But in 'The Bequeathed,' Park Sunghoon's character was a seriously irksome husband who was none of that. I wondered how my character could choose such a man. Seoha probably never heard such things from those around her, never received or gave love. She probably married just wanting to have a family. The husband probably chased after her. Actor Park Sunghoon made a special appearance but played his part well. That's why I think there was synergy in the quarrel scenes."
What kind of actor is Park Heesoon?
"It's been a while since we met, but 'Trolley'was our first work together. We knew each other well because we have a mutual friend. He's considerate, kind, and warm. I had a strong impression that he's a good person. His attitude on set is also something to learn from, always serious. He has presence. But he's not boring either."

Having the vague sense that drama is happening but not knowing what it is & not being able to ask anyone is one of the worst feelings ever
#one of my former flatmates just posted a video showing off his (almost empty; clean) room and captioned it ‘here you go [landlord]’#in the group chat that includes all four of us plus the landlord#and iiiii would like to know why#he signed up for a 12 month contract back in september so it’s like 2 months early for him to be moving out#i feel like a few things are possible#1 the landlord just asked everyone to provide videos of their rooms so he can advertise them next year (fairly likely but then where are#the others’ videos?)#2 there was some sort of issue with the room and he’s now demonstrating it’s been fixed (somewhat likely though it was a full room tour so#that doesn’t really make sense to me)#3 he’s moving out of the house entirely regardless of what his lease says (fun)#4 he’s moving in with his girlfriend who lives in the attic (funny)#i feel like it’s 3 but like. whyyy is he moving out?? he actually LIKES it there#maybe there’s some tea i don’t know about#god i know i shouldn’t feel this way but i would feel very vindicated if it turned out that after my character assassination of sb#followed by me leaving 3 months early because of him#everyone else has realised ‘oh yeah ellen was right; he IS a fucked up guy’ and is getting the hell out#that would be fun. i would enjoy that. i would say ‘i told you so’ every day until they blocked me#I TOLD YOU SO THOUGH. anyone who abandons a supermarket trolley clearly cannot be trusted#personal

#bratsitter#* verse one: welcome to the eighties.#sb: hi#tony: no time for small talk we gotta discuss the trolley problem
