Hello? Hello, hello? [FNAF, Renegade AU]

I found @alexiseatzbeez's Faztober over on Tumblr, and selected 8 prompts that I found interesting. The first one I selected was day 1 - "Hello? Hello, hello?"
For this, I drew Krasnyy, the phone guy of location C in the Renegade AU recording a message on the office's tape recorder-phone hybrid.
The tape recorder-phone hybrid is how Krasnyy's voicemails survived despite him using the office phone in his fight against the world's most depressed assassin, Vincent Taylor: the calls are stored on tapes that management sets to play from the phone, so it doesn't matter that the original phone was destroyed as it can be just be replaced and have the messages sent to it. Something that happens often. Also the device has a separate body and receiver, and the receiver is from an device as the one that came with the one Krasnyy used to record the 1993 phone calls had already been broken.

August 1993.
Krasnyy flicked through the papers that his boss had handed him with one hand, and held the receiver for the office phone in the other.
He was supposed to read this out verbatim into the office's phone/tape recorder hybrid in order to record a message that would be used to train the next guard, and all future guards.
If Faz Ent had their way, there would be many, many more new guards.
The receiver felt familiar in his hands. It had probably been the one that he'd used back in 87 when he was suposed to record those 'summer job training tapes', but he had instead called the guard to warn them of the animatronics in a way that'd fall under management's radar. Given that last week, the phone's receiver had been mysteriously destroyed, he figured that they'd just pulled out this one as a spare despite the colour mismatch.
The receiver in his hand was a comforting presence, and fortunately so, as if the script was anything to go by, Faz Ent wanted him dead.
'Finishing up my last week'. Bullshit! They were either going to sack him, or kill him, and with everything that Krasnyy knew, the latter was more likely.
As for the contents of the documents, it was mostly legal disclaimers. None of it was useful: if this is all anyone heard, they wouldn't survive their first night! So he'd have to get creative: omit most of what management wanted him to say, emphasise the chance you could become a missing person by working at this place, and weave in some proper information.
He'd record these tutorials his way, just like he had done back in 87, and try to give as much information as possible in a way that'd slip under the radar and tell everyone what they needed to know without explicitly saying it. Anyone who heard these tapes would be able to deduce that the animatronics are posessed, even though he could not state those words explicitly. It was the only way to get the message across and keep his head on his shoulders for one more night.
If Faz Ent got their way, this might be the last act of rebellion against this wretched place that he'd ever be alive to make.
He'd have to make it worth it.
He'd have to make sure that this week wouldn't be his last. No matter what it takes.

Fandoms and characters I will write
So first off, I need to clarify that certain characters will ONLY be platonic while others can be both. Drawing wise, I will only do the fandoms I list here but I will draw any that's not listed as well.
Other Notes, I can age or deage character. Characters can be shipped with other canon or the reader, i don't mind doing either. You should clarify what exactly you want; fluff, angst, flanst, yandere, nsfw, and so forth. You can even give specific details for the reader.
Also, feel free to give plot, suggestions, and just in general whatever. I want to get back into writing so it'll take me time but I promise I will get things down eventually. I will force myself haaa. Though if a plot really interests me it'll most likely get done quickly, but i'll make sure to also do things in order!
Aus are a go! As long as I know about them orrr I am able to look them up. Just tell me where to find it at least when requesting as there are also multiple source for certain things so which one you referring to.
Or even in fnaf's case, which variant of the character you want. If not specific, I will most likely just do their original form unless I have a idea for a different one. Orrrr maybe I'll just do multiple if I'm feeling up to it
Not sure what else to add but yeahhh. This'll definitely get updated as I get more interested in new shows/games and characters so keep an eye out!

Welcome to the Gregaverse!
The official Sign up paper! With all the rules, its not much so don't worry to much lol
You can do whatever
If u don't want ppl using your Gregory just tell me and i will remove u, but if you wanna be part of this, dm me and I'll add you! (I'll be tagging you with the name of your au so just tell me the name so i can add it)
This is all just silly fun, if u like one of the Gregorys mentioned you can write/draw whatever u want with them and your Gregory, as long as it doesn't go against the creators boundaries
And by the end of it, just tag under the Gregaverse and all that
This is basically just a crossover au but like, all at once XD

It had been a few days since the Ruins incident and whilst Cassie is physically recovering alongside Sylvia, Gregory, and Ness, and the gas is finally wearing off, so she can see the real world clearly again, her mental state is still on the decline as uncertainty takes hold. What was the chip other than a kill switch and way for Faz Ent to manipulate what she sees, what did Faz Ent really want with Ness, Gregory, Sylvia, and herself, and would she ever be safe?

It had been a few days since the incident dubbed 'the Ruins Incident', or 'Ruins' for short.
Cassie had managed to explain everything she knew so far. Her information combined with what Sylvia knew resulted in quite the full picture, yet questions remained, as they so often did. Cassie had noticed that the distortion she had seen around her dad's forehead, as well as some other objects, had vanished; a sign that the Component V gas and the residue the chip pumped into her head to try and kill her was out of her system now and she was seeing the real world. The real real world.
She hadn't been kept up to date on the mask and chip situation though. She figured things were being investigated and they'd get back to her once they had the full picture as to not worry her. Sylvia had been told that the control module that had been jammed onto her chest was 'the same as the one Adelaide used on Luis in the Raid', which probably meant more to Sylvia than it seemed on the surface, as Sylvia had no further questions and she actually seemed to start giving answers instead of questions.
Cassie was recovering though at least. She was no longer bedridden despite her fractured ankle, and only her eye and the old implant site were causing issues. Mostly pain and inflammation, but issues nonetheless.
As she got up to stretch her legs, Mike walked in. The paranormal officer had been a familiar sight, but had been more for small talk than saying anything actually useful, likely due to the chip situation and not wanting to cause unnecessary panic. She had leaned enough about him to know that he probably blamed himself for her passing out over learning about the kill switch, and didn't want that kind of shock to happen again.
"Any information or just small talk?" Cassie asked.
"I actually have information today!" Mike beamed as he handed Cassie the mask and an eyepiece, "we removed the chipping system from the mask, so it can read them but not stab another into you. And the eyepiece should act as your chip. I've ran extensive tests, so it should be safe."
"Well the only unsafe thing was the kill switch chip," Cassie said as she held the mask at arm's length in front of her face. "Can we get Gregory and my dad in the room? I promised myself the first thing I'd get through is seeing what they look like in the AR system."
"Alright," Mike replied with a nod, "I'll fetch them. I might be a while though."
Cassie returned to her hospital bed to examine the mask and eyepiece.
In the days since the Ruins Incident, Cassie had learned that Gregory had been adopted by Sylvia's sister, and that as soon as everything in this state had been sorted, they were heading back home across the country. Cassie hadn't been home often between the Riot and Raid due to the attempt on her dad's life during the former incident. She'd spent most of her time searching, hiding, and observing whilst her dad tried to make ends meet as he was extorted by his former employer, Fazbear Entertainment. Asside from the some changes of clothes, a few tools, and some trinkets, Cassie and her dad didn't have much, so the decision to start fresh and live with Sylvia in a state far away from Faz Ent's main HQ was a no-brainer.
Cassie knew that everyone who wasn't local to the Pizzaplex who was involved in the Raid was currently in temporary accommodation, so that's where Mike was heading. She also knew her dad had been moved there too for safety reasons. She regretted not talking to her dad about being contacted by 'Gregory', but who could blame her for not wanting to put an even bigger target on her dad's back when Faz Ent were already after his head.
After all, the only conditions Gregory was supposed to contact her under were total safety or if his life was currently on the line, no in-between. If she had heard his original pleas for help when Faz Ent had actually had their hands on him and were trying to use his deduction and memory lock skills to wreck his mind, she'd have been dragging her dad into a death trap had she told him about it.
Even though she heard those prerecorded pleas thirty eight hours after Gregory and Ness escaped the megaplex and Sylvia set off the main round of demolition explosives, there had still been execs in the building running amok, and she just knew that if they had caught scent of her dad, they'd have killed him on the spot.
Before she could worry herself more about how much Faz Ent wanted her dad dead, Mike returned. "I've got everyone you asked for," he said, "let's hope everything works out."
Desmond Anadem, Cassie's dad, sat at the foot of his daughter's hospital bed, whilst Gregory stood nearby. Ness stood off to the side and Sylvia pulled up a chair just out of her immediate line of sight.
After lifting the mask to her face, Cassie kept her gaze fixed on the sheets. A message poped up on screen.
"Welcome back returning user! It's a good thing too as we are fresh out of implants. Sadly, your chip is just a data storage chip and does not support RW AR, so you'll just have to deal with an un-upgraded reality. The data that your chip has saved is your inventory and technician ID.
Call this number for more implant chips and AR mask maintenance to regain access to the more advanced features only accessable to AR chipped users:"
Cassie didn't care for the phone number.
"Returning user, hu?" She mumbled to herself as she checked the inventory on the mask. All her collectables she found in the 'AR world' (also known as whenever she was wearing the mask) were there. "Wow, you guys managed to save more data from that dead chip than I expected."
She finally sucked up the courage to look up.
And she understood why the doctors didn't want her seeing her dad so soon after the Ruins incident.
Droplets of red flowed down Desmond's face. A small hole, no wider in diameter than five millimetres was bored into his forehead.
He looked as if he had been shot in the head.
Cassie felt herself hyperventilating and tore off the mask. She received worried looks from everyone.
"You weren't wearing the eyepiece," Mike pointed to Cassie's hand as he spoke, "it was in your hand the whole time."
Cassie stared at the eyepiece in her hand.
"There's a second chip," Cassie stated, her voice shaking, "it's not an AR chip, but it did communicate with the AR chip that day."
Mike nodded, and with a deep breath, he pulled out the sort of microchip scanner that'd look right at home in a veterinarian's office. "Can I scan for it?" He asked.
"Go ahead," Cassie replied.
A scan of her face showed nothing. Neither did a scan of the arms. As Mike put the scanner to the back of her neck to start scanning her back, it beeped.
"It's in the back of your neck. It seems to just be a microchip that someone would put in a pet, but with a little bit of extra rewritable data," Mike said as he read the chip's data from the scanner.
As Mike passed the scanner to Cassie so she could read it, he asked, "so what should we do about it?"
As Cassie read the data, she figured that she should probably be the one asking that question, but she did have an answer.
"I don't think we can do anything. It's in the back of my neck," Cassie replied, "it's probably been there since I was synthesized."
Desmond winced at what Cassie said, and both Mike and Cassie picked up on his reaction.
Mike was about to speak, but let Cassie ask the question.
"What is it?" She asked.
"When Alistair handed you to me on your sixth birthday, she told me that no matter where I went, Faz Ent would be able to track us down," Desmond said, "I think I now know what she meant."
Cassie nodded. It made sense that Faz Ent would chip her. It was scary, but not what she had been worried about; at least this one didn't have a kill switch, or the capacity to be one.
Cassie took a deep breath and tried out the eyepiece. Certain parts of the hospital room had strange effects, the same glitchy effects that the AR chip or AR chip residue combined with the Compound V gas had created.
She put the mask to her face and gave the room a better look around.
Gregory looked the most normal. The VANNI network didn't seem to change how he looked at a glance, though patches of blood had been projected onto his clothes and he held a blank stare.
Sylvia's clothes had been altered to be a security guard's uniform.
Ness looked like the rabbit lady she saw on the screen back in the daycare theatre.
Her dad still looked like a dead man.
"Talk about the nickname 'spite network'," she mumbled as she looked over to Mike, who had the most confusing change of all. The man in a white blouse and black cardigan was replaced by a woman in a similar white blouse, but with a thin tan trenchcoat instead of the cardigan, and his hair had been changed from a light brown to a darker shade.
She tried to pay close attention to the mumblings she heard as she looked at everyone again, as she knew the mask replayed snippets of data it collected.
'Morgan Smith! Interpol!', 'It's alright.', 'Are you OK?' spoken in the voice of an unfamiliar woman. From this alone Cassie knew Mike had been 'the other individual who infiltrated the VR environment'.
She could just hear a cacophony of screams interlaced with a gunshot and the sound of metal being torn apart as she looked at her dad. Audio from the Riot, recontextualised to make it sound as if he had been killed, but he'd told her enough to know that the bullet hit a wall, and that THAT was the exact moment when the staff and STAFF truly turned on one another.
She heard laughter as she looked at Ness. Deranged laughter that wasn't like the woman at all. She could also faintly hear muffled sobbing.
As she looked at Gregory, she heard the same echoes she had heard at the Pizzaplex, but this time, they were interlaced with anguished screams. Likely some 'cut content' from Adelaide's 'recording session' with her poor half brother. Cassie shuddered thinking about what Adelaide might have done to him.
She expected to hear typical security guard talk as she looked at Sylvia, but instead, she heard the mumbles say things she didn't expect to hear. 'Freddy, if management finds out, we're both dead', 'Let me guess, you've only just started processing again', 'Is Freddy the only one controlled tonight or is he the only one in safe mode. How the hell am I supposed to find that out and live?', a shrieking 'NO!', and assorted screams.
She was certain Gregory never heard her say any of that. If he did, he'd have probably trusted her during the Breach.
And Sylvia was lucky to be alive.
She turned and looked at a peice of medical equipment that had a screen, and she saw Alistair. Instinctively, she reached out, but a deep dark blue hand grabbed her wrist. Her gaze followed up the entity's arm, and she saw that M.X.E.S was now where Alistair was once shown. She screamed and tried to pull off her mask, but she found herself frozen to the spot.
A pop-up appeared in her peripheral vision.
'It seems that something is stressing you out. Let me help'
As the world around her became an open field, she screamed "No no no NO NO NO NO NO NO!"
Everyone in the hospital room watched in shock horror as Cassie froze up entirely after she had reached out for the screen of a peice of medical equipment, screamed in pure visceral fear, and then went completely limp.
Before she pulled herself up again.
"We saw M.X.E.S, panicked, and the mask trapped Civ in some kind of grassy daydream to try and 'help' us. If you remove the mask, we might die. I don't have long before it traps me too. Don't panic, and don't blame yourselves. At least this is happening now and not when we're in danger, and think of a way to get us out of -"
Sleeper was cut off as Cassie went limp once more.
"She's right," Gregory said, "it's better this happened now than later."
"Ness, see if you can find out anything about the M.X.E.S system, and if you could use J.A.C.X to pull her out of it. I'll fetch Fritz to run diagnostics on the mask and see if we can figure out what state she's in," Mike said, sounding slightly different, feeling as if this was his mess again.
First the construction crew died at the old manager's hands.
Second, he could only wait outside during the Breach due to the megaplex's 12 till 6 lockdown.
Third, not being able to save Ness from getting kidnapped in the first place, and after saving Luis from the critical state that Faz Ent had left him in, he wasn't able to provide much help to Sylvia from the outside as he, unlike Sylvia who had the demolition contract, could not legally step foot inside the megaplex unless someone inside called the police, and he couldn't run that risk.
Fourth, he couldn't stop Cassie from entering the megaplex.
Fifth, this.
Mike was about to lose it. He hated feeling like he was just organising who cleans the mess up instead of fixing it himself. But he wouldn't lose his composure. He couldn't.
Mike felt someone punch his arm.
"Pull yourself together! My daughter said to not blame anyone, so quit blaming yourself!" Sylvia put her foot down: she knew just how much of a failure Mike had felt these past five plus weeks. She wasn't about to let him lose himself to his despair. "I'm not some kid you need to protect either. When Ness got kidnapped, I was acting as an extension of you to save her. And thanks to your suggestion to stick around inside the megaplex in case Cassie falls for Faz Ent's ploy, I was able to back her up and prevent William from feeding her any lies about Gregory by getting Bill to own up to his bullshit before that point. It's thanks to you that she's still on our side. And due to Sleepers seeming obsession with the mask, it IS better that we deal with this flawed 'protection' protocol now rather than later, because she was going to trip it sooner or later."
Mike looked at Sylvia with a bewildered smile.
"Alright," he replied before heading off to find Fritz.
Sylvia begun setting up and starting diagnostics on the mask's current processes for Fritz to decipher later, whilst Ness tried to contact the J.A.C.X system. It was suspicious that it hadn't pinged anything after she had saved Gregory from Adelaide about thirty nine hours prior to the incident.
No data in the time it took them to escape, no data after.
"Did someone take Jacx offline?" Ness asked herself out loud as she pinged it repeatedly, yet received no reply.
"Do you think M.X.E.S might have done it?" Sylvia asked as she did what she could for the diagnostics, deciphering what she could. "William did say he repurposed J.A.C.X to make the thing after all, and he's not the sort to like competition."
As Ness found some of M.X.E.S's code and read through it, she replied "Noโฆ No way."
"What?" Sylvia tilted her head and squinted to try and see what her sister was seeing.
"William didn't make M.X.E.S. Jacx IS M.X.E.S!" Ness exclaimed as tears pricked the corners of her eyes. "LOOK!"
Sylvia hadn't seen M.X.E.S, or it's code, but it bore an uncanny resemblance to J.A.C.X, whose code she had seen.
But the important things were the code comments; left in M.X.E.S's files were code comments signed by Ness herself.
William didn't repurpose the code and network as she thought. William had only said that he used the starts of what Ness and Gregory set up during the raid. Sylvia had almost absentmindedly solved it herself when she had summarised M.X.E.S's creation as William repurposing J.A.C.X into M.X.E.S, not once, but twice now. Oh if only she knew how right she had been.
Ness swiftly tweaked her J.A.C.X interface and begun to send ping requests.
She was now getting responses, and a little more than a response too.
A hare so blue it was almost black filled the screen, it's arms looked as if they had been torn from their sockets, and the waist down tapered into a point; she could only imagine what had happened to it.
"He's missing is his uniformโฆ Andโฆ" Sylvia remarked with a horrified hiss and shook her head before she could vocalise that second thought. There was far more things wrong than Jacx just missing his uniform, but she didn't want to think about how much pain he was in right now.
"Poor Jacx," Ness murmured into her screen, "what happened to you?"
The hare tried to speak, but no noise came out. Ness and Sylvia checked the speakers, yet nothing was amiss.
"Can you speak?" Ness's tone was fearful and her eyes were teary. She already knew the answer.
The hare shook his head, confirming it.
"Are you Jacx, or are you Mxes?" Ness then asked.
The hare imitated scales with its hands in a shrug, before holding up one finger.
"Jacx?" Ness asked to confirm.
Jacx nodded.
"Do you have any way of communicating long answers to us?" Ness asked.
Jacx nodded and pulled up a text document, and seemed to write on it like a chalk board.
It wrote "I am J.A.C.X. William found me when he was trying to contain the mimic. He tore me apart, took away my uniform and voice, and turned your sensor nodes into security nodes. I'm sorry I couldn't stop it. I tried to tell Cassie that Gregory was not down there, but I couldn't speak and all my actions did - all being in the presence of her did was call animatronics to where she was. I'm sorry I couldn't do anything."
"Stop blaming yourself!" Ness exclaimed.
"Can people PLEASE stop tripping over eachother to blame themselves for everything that happened since Ness got kidnapped post-raid? Please and thank you," Sylvia huffed before she asked Jacx a question: "Can you do anything for Cassie now."
As Jacx wrote "I think soโฆ" on his text document, Fritz had sat down to read the diagnostics.
"Well he's probably our best shot," Fritz grimaced as he looked at the diagnostics, "it doesn't look goodโฆ"
"What's wrong?" Sylvia asked, her voice laced with concern.
"Is she going to be ok?" Desmond chimed in, equally concerned.
"We need something already inside the network to get her out of the network." Fritz put it plain and simple.
"The thing is, will she be able to trust Jacx enough for it to pull her outโฆ" Fritz grimaced as he glared at the diagnostics screen.
This has been the first time in a long time that Sleeper and Civ were experiencing things as 'one'. Sleeper was grateful it was only the present that they were currently sharing, as there were still plenty of things in the past that she didn't want Civ to be burdened with the knowledge of.
"Where am I?" She mumbled to herself.
"Safe, of course."
Cassie screamed in fear in response to the unidentified voice who had replied to her, and she whipped around to try and locate who said that.
"Where are you?" She asked, certain she'd scoured every inch of her line of sight.
"Right here," the voice replied, seemingly from behind her.
Cassie spun around, and saw what looked like Gregory; sitting, smiling, and waving a Freddy ice cream around in a loop. He didn't look real. He looked like a hologram.
"Who are you," Cassie asked, "WHAT are you?"
"I'm Gregory."
"Where have I heard that one before," Cassie shot back, "who are you really. Unless you threw yourself into the VANNI network to try and pull me out, I know you're not Gregory."
'Gregory' paused for a moment before replying.
"But I AM Gregory. Although, you probably know me by a different name. Clone 46."
Clone 46.
"You'reโฆ" Cassie could hardly bring herself to speak.
"Part of the mimic?" 'Gregory' finished Cassie's question for her. "Yeah, I was. But you already know I didn't start out that way."
"Are โฆ you going to kill me?" Cassie all but colapsed. Facing the entity she saved Gregory from becoming, the entity that was downloaded onto an endoskeleton only to be slain at her hands after only twenty eight hours of being in the physical world.
She had killed Clone 46 twice. Once in the VR environment, and once in the real world. She wouldn't be surprised if it wanted to kill her now.
"No!" 'Gregory' replied, "Your Gregory and I were technically one person back in the VR environment. Whilst I was carrying out kill orders, I could also detect his memories. I know your Gregory, and I know that him and I only spent a short period of time as one being in the VR environment, butโฆ He's your best friend. So you're also my best friend. Even after everything."
"So why did you try to kill me back then?" Cassie asked, shaking.
"Because I'm clone 46," Gregory replied, "I was built to be a killer first, and a person as an afterthought. Even though I was the body and code of the character Gregory was stuck playing as in the VR environment, and even though we shared our memories, meaning we each have two sets of memories: the real world memories from your Gregory, and the VR environment memories from me, clone 46 was ultimately an experiment to make a child assassin who would kill on command. As soon as the other half of the Mimic's codebase even suggested I should attack you, only one of us was going to get out of there alive. I'm glad it was you."
Cassie tried to reply, but all she could do was choke back tears.
"And you're really as strong as they say," 'Gregory' continued, "If Sleeper had found me and not Civ, it'd have been a brawl for the ages! She fought me when she could though, just like how you kept fighting any animatronics that got too close to you, like the first time you saw Monty."
Cassie's memories had been patchy at best, and she knew things weren't as consistent as they seemed. The fact she'd had a bare knuckle brawl against some of the animatronics was a given. What surprised her though was that the mimic was on her brawled roster.
"Don't cry," 'Gregory' smiled, "besides, did you order any 'help' before you joined me here?"
Cassie looked up and saw M.X.E.S poking his head through a rip in the terrain. It didn't look malicious like it did back at the megaplex. It flipped between trying to keep the 'rift' it created open, and reaching a hand out to Cassie, but the reach wasn't a desperate grab.
"Why am I not panicking?" Cassie asked herself, not realising she spoke out loud.
"Because you know it's true nature. It was meant to keep the mimic at bay," 'Gregory' replied.
"I was playing a villain's game that day," Cassie shrugged as she stepped towards M.X.E.S and grabbed it's paw, "Bye Gregory!" She smiled.
"Bye Cassie! Say hi to real world me for me!" 'Gregory' replied as Cassie took the entity's hand.
After getting pulled through the rift, Cassie found herself flat on her back in a hospital bed. Back in her hospital bed. She'd become very familiar with that patch of ceiling, and it hadn't changed with the introduction of the VANNI network.
Slowly, she pulled herself upright and saw M.X.E.S hovering over Ness's shoulder. It turned to her and gestured for her to take the mask off, so she did.
"Cassie! You're ok!"
"Cassie!"
"You're alive!"
Cassie couldn't pinpoint who cried what, but three people pulled Cassie into a group hug.
She wanted to remain calm, but she bawled her eyes out.
Only after what felt like hours, or was it only minutes, Cassie stopped crying.
"How do I know this isn't a dream," Cassie asked herself. She'd been asking herself this a lot recently.
Her cheek was grabbed in a vice grip and her face was pulled about in a rough and tumble manner for a good ten seconds.
"Does that answer your question?" Gregory asked.
"Owwโฆ I mean yes," Cassie replied, rubbing her definitely bruised cheek. "Gregory, clone 46 says hi. Also I need to tell you something later."
"Who's in charge right now, so I know who to remind," Gregory asked.
"Both," Cassie replied. She was surprised that she was both Civ and Sleeper for a change, and Gregory seemed even more surprised, but he was quickly back to normal.
"So I guess you can't blame the other one for forgetting this time," he grinned.
"Nope," Cassie replied, "it is kinda important."
As the adults discussed what happened with the mask as they let Cassie process what had happened herself, Cassie said, "actually, this is the perfect time. Before we split back to normal."
Cassie slipped away from her hospital bed and sat behind an unoccupied bed at the end of the ward. Gregory joined her on the floor.
"Gregory?" Cassie asked.
"What is it?" Gregory felt slightly uneasy.
"If you're EVER in a situation where you don't know if me or a homicidal animatronic is on the other end of an elevator, and there's no way to verify it's me without risking lives, cut the elevator." Cassie said.
"I didn't even cut the cableโฆ Why are you asking me to do this?" Gregory asked, now fearful.
"I know it wasn't you, but even if it was, I'd forgive you. After all, Virtual Gregory, Clone 46, forgave me for scooping him. And if he can forgive me for ending his physical existence," Cassie choked back tears, "I know I'll be able to forgive you if you're ever put in the situation that Bill Blake staged. Because if you were up there instead of himโฆ"
"You'd have had me write you off as dead the moment the mimic was released," Gregory finished Cassie's statement, "and you'd do the same for me."
Cassie couldn't stop herself from bawling her eyes out into her half brother's shoulder.
Gregory didn't know what to say. There really wasn't anything that he could say.
He knew what she really meant in all of this too. She was terrified that Faz Ent would one day kidnap her and mess with her memories via either the VR environment, or forcing Gregory to lock her memories, or otherwise, and that she'd be made to believe that Gregory had dropped the elevator as a result.
The worst part was that her worries weren't even far fetched. Everything she feared was entirely possible to the point where it could happen tomorrow if Faz Ent could be bothered.
"You two alright down there? Getting away from the crowd to cry like I always do?" Sylvia stood over the siblings with a sympathetic smile; Sylvia had a habit of finding places away from others to cry herself too: it had become a habit long before the riot, and it remained a habit even now.
Cassie and Gregory nodded.
"Cool," Sylvia replied to the nod, "y'know, I don't know why I didn't say this sooner, but the first few days after dealing with incidents like this are always super surreal. After the Riot, one of my former colleagues would always stop me for a chat on my way home from work and remind me about the gash on my chest I got from fighting Monty, and it always grounded me back in reality. And after the Breach, protocol for 'Sylvia is slipping' was 'poke rib'. And it still kinda is. It helps remind me that what happened was real and that I'm still alive."
"You have a broken rib?!" Cassie yelled.
"It's mostly healed now. I was fine during the Raid, and well enough to go rescue my sister in the incident after." Sylvia shrugged, "Say, when we got you to the hospital, they found your ankle was fractured."
"Yeah, I'm surprised I was walking on it for that long," Cassie replied, looking at her bandaged ankle and the splint that held it straight. The only reason she could walk on it was because of the splint taking all the pressure.
"Press it!" Sylvia grinned.
"What?" Cassie heard what Sylvia said: she just couldn't believe her ears.
"Press it. If it hurts, you're alive," Sylvia replied.
"Okโฆ. OW!" Cassie poked her fractured ankle, and it didn't take much for it to hurt. And it hurt a lot. Her splint was definitely pulling so much weight whenever she walked.
"See, the pain tells you that everything is OK!" Sylvia grinned.
"Yeahโฆ Owโฆ There's definitely painโฆ" Cassie winced as her ankle felt as if it was on fire. "How do you live like this."
"I went to work the day after the raid with a concussion and minimal medical attention for the gash in my chest. I sucked up a broken rib for three hours during the Breach by chugging possibly out of date Faz Ent own brand painkillers and only got necessary treatment so I wouldn't be hospital bound for the Raid," Sylvia replied, "I survive. It's not pretty, but I survive."
"Does anyone have any other coping mechanisms?" Cassie asked.
"Nope," Gregory replied, "Mum and Dad - Ness and Luis, in case I haven't filled you in that they adopted me - have the same strategy as Sylvia. That all three of them learned from Mike and his friends."
"It really is just a vicious circle of lick your wounds and realise you're alive, and teaching the next generation to do the same," Sylvia added with a laugh, "it's probably the worst strategy, but it still works as a grounding strategy at least!"
"Speaking of Luis, I don't think I've seen much of him," Cassie said, still wincing from the self inflicted pain in her ankle from poking it.
"He's in the other Faz Ent victim ward. He got shot during the Riot, had a control module attached to his chest and spine during the Raid, and was shot when Faz Ent kidnapped Ness a few nights after that, which I think qualifies as the start of the Ruins incident," Sylvia replied.
"Yeah," Gregory confirmed, "you and Auntie Sylvia were placed in the empty ward - well, empty bar me and Ness at the time: we were moved to the general Faz Victims ward as you were wheeled in - just in case you had an adverse reaction to new people. Can't be too careful where the control modules are concerned."
"Too right. Can't be too careful with familiar faces either," Sylvia said, "I guess the contents of the control module that goes on the chest is the same as what was in the masks during the Adelaide incidentโฆ Which explains why they're so bulky. Seeing as everyone masked at the Adelaide Incident was rendered completely controlled, and Luis's memory of being controlled during the raid is a hazy blur at best, I guess it WAS my high blood-remnant concentration that let me act on my own. That or I wasn't issued any orders. I want to get Carl in to check, but how do we check these thingsโฆ Sorry I'm rambling now. Gotta get this down."
Sylvia contunued her tangent as she walked off and grabbed a notebook and pen and begun to scribble everything down.
"Soโฆ what are your injuries?" Cassie asked Gregory, wanting some kind of topic of conversation to keep her mind off things.
"Mostly psychological," Gregory shrugged, "Ness's wounds are pretty surgical in nature, so she's just had a few surgeries to properly clean and close those injuries, and she'll likely be fine soon. I have a lot of surface wounds which are already mostly patched up bar the new cut on my cheek that took stitches to close and is under observation for strange reactions, but I'm more mentally scared than physically injured from that to be honest anyway."
"Wow, I guess my stay here is going to be really long because of the chip and broken bone if that's all you're here for," Cassie laughed.
"Yeah, and Sylvia's finally getting all her injuries properly seen to as well, so she'll be here even longer," Gregory added, "it's about time too."
"How did she break a rib anyway?" Cassie asked, "She didn't say how."
"Vanny pushed her down the trapdoorย of the garbage compactor whilst the chute was still open after the compactor crushed Chica," Gregory replied, "I'm surprised I didn't break any bones when Chica dragged me down that trapdoorโฆ"
Cassie was locked in stunned silence.
"Yeah, sorry. I'd have told you about what happened to the animatronics sooner, but I was neither in mortal peril or completely safe, so contacting you about it all would have been too big of a risk," Gregory sighed.
"You fell down the garbage compactor trapdoor, and then she got pushed in?! When?!" Cassie was more shocked at the fact he got dragged down the trash compactor's trap door than the fact that he had implied that he crushed Chica in there. "And Vanny is Ness when William is possessing her and in control, right?"
"During the Breach. And yeah," Gregory nodded but then was taken aback by the specific lack of something that Cassie said, "you're not mad at me for crushing Chica?"
"You only implied it, and with most exits behind lock and key, and Chica's voicebox being part of some of those keys, I don't really blame you," Cassie replied with a half truth. She didn't blame him, that was true, but it wasn't because Chica's beak may have helped him find an exit.
No.
It was because she still felt guilt over what the mimic made her do to Roxy.
By the time she had made it to the party garages, it was almost entirely clear that the 'Gregory' that had been calling her was using spliced audio, yet she had pressed on anyway. She had shut down Roxy even though she knew deep down that it wasn't going to be Gregory who she found in the end.
Gregory had more justification for decommissioning the animatronics. Yet in what had been a good turn for Cassie but a bad turn for Gregory, the animatronics never stayed down for long.
If she had to place her bets, she'd say that Chica and Monty were still staggering or crawling about the Megaplex, despite their apparent deactivation.
"Youโฆ Really don't blame me?" Gregory asked, slightly taken aback.
"No. I get it. If our roles were reversed, I'd have probably given the other animatronics upgrades to Roxy," Cassie replied, "I really don't blame you at all."
Gregory nodded and the two sat in mutual silence for a while. There wasn't much more to say on the matter. If roles had been reversed, Gregory would have probably been dealing with a shattered Glamrock Freddy constantly shouting for Cassie to give him his battery upgrade back or something.
On that note, "Where is Roxy?" Cassie asked, "I've not seen her since I escaped the megaplex."
"Hospital employees parking garage," Gregory replied, "I've heard talk about a mini raid to get Monty and Chica's heads so they can be rebuilt."
"I've seen Chica, and she definitely needs a new everythingโฆ" Cassie grimaced at the memory of Chica, how Sleeper had a full blown brawl against the robotic chicken several times, and how she seemed to always be in so much pain.
She wanted to move on from this conversation.
Now.
"Also, when and why did Ness adopt you? Wasn't she completely under William's control during the Breach?" Cassie asked, hoping to permanently alter the trajectory of this conversation.
Gregory was taken aback by the conversation shifting from the animatronics to his new home life, but he didn't mind or really even think twice about it. "Yeah, she was. But we both had known of eachother before that night. She knew about Alistair and how clone 46 was marked as a failed experiment due to her 'situation', and I knew about her 'situation' too due to being the subject of the clone 46 experiments. Faz Ent couldn't talk about one of us without talking about the other, so it didn't take us long to figure eachother out." Gregory gazed off into the middle distance as he spoke, trying to remain calm. "William was trying to kill me because clone 46's memories are my memories from my time in the VR environment. I think he might have been able to go through my real world memories tooโฆ Clone 46, GGY, is just what I was in the VR environment. I was a liability, so had to go."
"I didn't think Faz Ent wanted you dead. I don't think virtual clone 46 knew that either." Cassie grimaced. If she'd have known, she'd have come up with a better plan, but with how things panned out, maybe getting Gregory to hide inside Freddy's stomach hatch was the better plan after all, and she was glad that things panned out the way they did.
Gregory shrugged, "Guess I just ran out of use to them." Gregory took a brief pause then sighed. "But why me? Why use me for the clone 46 experiments?"
"Alistair was a Faz Ent scientist by choice you know," Cassie replied, "I know I shouldn't have assumed that you knew that when we met back in the silo. At least you learned it from someoneโฆ" Cassie started to shake. Ever since she started the Breach by freeing Gregory from the VR environment, she'd always wondered if things would have gone smoother if she told him about Alistair and he didn't have to learn tidbits from a traumatised kidnapping victim barely able to stay in control of her own body. "Is the original patient 46 anything like you expected?"
Gregory shrugged. "I never actually listened to the CDs." He opened his mouth to speak, but shut it as the images of what he had witnessed after Cassie had saved him from the VR environment flashed through his head.
It was blurry, yet so vivid at the same time.
A woman who he had seen before, also hiding in the walls of the Megaplex, but unlike him she was not here by choice. Her choked sobs and her begging him and Cassie to 'please run, before he takes control again' still rang in his ears whenever he saw her. The sight of someone who was supposed to be trying to kill him stabbing herself in order to buy him and Cassie time to escape. Cassie hiding him inside of Freddy and hearing the rabbit lady hunt him down from his hiding spot. Not knowing if Cassie had made it out. Not being able to see or know when the rabbit lady left. Not being able to know whether the person who then begun searching for him was that woman's sister, or the woman herself.
The sight and sounds would never leave his mind.
Even knowing now that the rabbit lady was Ness and that the security guard lady was Sylvia, knowing what happened didn't make it better. It made it worse. Ever since he had freed Ness and she had adopted him, he couldn't help but see a part of himself in Sylvia's predicament and see a part of Cassie in Ness's predicament. He couldn't help but worry if one day, Sleeper would be forced to kill like Ness had killed. He didn't know if he would be able to have the tenacity that Sylvia had had in hunting down the other arcades that would make Princess Quest 3 work, one ones that had stopped Luis from freeing Ness a week prior to the Breach.
He didn't know if Cassie would survive trying to prevent whatever would make her kill from harming others like Ness had prevented William from harming others for so long. He didn't know if she'd be able to cope with some of those attempts being in vain.
"So she's exactly like what I expected," Gregory glanced over at Ness, who was busy talking to Mike, "kind, scared, and just trying to survive whilst containing William.
She kinda reminds me of you."
He didn't mean to say that last part out loud.
"Figures," Cassie hummed as she went over her own recollection of events. Sleeper was used to all the terror and bloodshed. Her encounter with Ness staving off William was just a drop in the bucket to Sleeper. Civ, on the other hand, didn't know much of the horrors until recently. If it wasn't for Bill accidentally causing her to switch from Civ to Sleeper, and if it wasn't for Roxy and Sylvia managing to reach her first, โฆ Civ could have been manipulated into becoming a horrifyingly brutal and efficient agent of William Afton, or worse, the mimic.
And with what Adelaide did to Gregory to get the voice clips to lure her into the Megaplex, Cassie knew that being tricked again or having her memories messed with was still a grim possibility that she'd have to prepare for.
This was the second time since J.A.C.X had rescued her from Helpi's safety system that she'd forced herself to confront that possibility. And it wouldn't be the last.
"I still might wind up being forced into the role of a Faz Ent agent yet," Cassie gazed off into space, "I just wonder if it'll be Sleeper, Civ, or the both of us."
"I won't let that happen!" Gregory instantly proclaimed, "You saved me from becoming Clone 46, I'll save you from becoming Vanny 3.0!"
"Promise?"
"I'll do what I can. And when you're ready, I want to test if I can run deductions using your mask, and I want to see if I can pull you into them with me. There are some things I want to see for myself."

Jeremy B [FNAF, Renegade AU]
Published: Dec 1, 2024
https://www.deviantart.com/paigelts05/art/1128508541
Fazbear Entertainment had had a terrible impact on Jeremy B's life before he was even a twinkle in his parents eyes. It's no wonder that when presented with the opportunity to find out why from the source, he took it.
Jeremy B has an older brother named Roy, but Jeremy never got to see his brother alive, as in 1987, Roy was killed as a part of Location C's MCI. Jeremy was born nine years later, and was unaware that he'd ever had a brother until he was a teenager, when a journalist managed to contact him and inform him of said brother's existence, leaving a business card for if Jeremy wanted to find out more.
Jeremy B asked his parents about his brother, and they told him very little, but enough to verify that he did in fact have a dead 'older' brother, and that said brother did in fact die in Freddy's Location C back in 1987.
When Jeremy was in college, he and some of his friends formed a small games company called "Silver Parasol". The company consisted of himself, Cassey, Sylvia Blake, and Vanessa Diego. The four worked on several arcade style mobile games together before they were contacted by Faz Ent.
Work on their VR game; get a hefty paycheque.
Jeremy remembered the journalist and was all in on the VR game deal: he'd been considering contacting the journalist for a few years, but he'd been putting it off.
Maybe he'd see what he could find on his own first.
Jeremy volunteered as the first playtester.
As he tested the game, he looked into every little thing that he could, and he wound up happening across something strange. After scanning in a chip that correponded to a 'Spring Bonnie', something that appeared to be a yellow rabbit, green with wireframe, boasting piercing purple eyes, started to appear and seemed to be trying to communicate with him. It started to rearrange the code, but it was far from clean: it wasn't clear if this was an AI or a ghost, as both had been known to be able to bend code to their will from the inside.
Jeremy was initially wary around the rabbit, but it seemed to know things. Things about Freddy's, things about his past. It seemed to struggle to find a voice of its own - both AIs and ghosts tended to share this issue, so there was still no way of knowing who or what it was, but Jeremy B tentatively listened, trying to figure out this creatures story, and just how much of what it was telling him was the truth.
One thing was clear, however: this entity was a threat. One Jeremy wasn't sure how to deal with. It seemed as if during their conversations, this entity had been getting into Jeremy's head, not just metaphorically, but literally. It seemed to be trying to posess him.
The team had to get this thing out of the game somehow: who knows what it could do if the game was allowed to release. If it was an AI that could posess people, it could replicate. If it was a ghost, then the game could create a network that would let it posess anyone at any time. This was a bug that had to be patched out before it made it to production at all costs.
Cassey logged what was found in some audio files whilst she, Ness, and Sylvia tried their best to eliminate this entity, meanwhile Jeremy's job was to hunt it down wherever it hid and report back its newest hiding spot.
The game of cat and mouse could only last so long, as there were only so many levels for it to hide in, and Jeremy eventually cornered it at a new stage that popped up. A stage called 'Pizza Party'. He hunter down the rabbit through the maze of halls, and eventually, they hit what Jeremy thought was a dead end: a chance to catch it.
It was hiding behind a curtain, but gesturing for Jeremy to follow it.
Jeremy thought he'd caught the glitchy rabbit, but as soon as he got too close to the curtains, the headset went dark, and Jeremy found himself unable to move. Not just in game, but his actual body eas frozen. In the game, he was on a stage, overlooking a dining hall, and he saw the rabbit dancing, and he heard a man's voice singing.
Jeremy B begun to have vivid visions of events he never saw:
In a desolate CEOs office a man fought against the ghost of a man who called himself William. William smashed the man's dead into a broken broken guillotine paper cutter on the desk, but the man whose memories he was witnessing survived. The man then went on to win the fight.
In a crumbling warehouse, he saw a woman rally an army of animatronics against an animatronic rabbit that held the bones of a long dead killer, and seemed to be posessed by that killer too. The woman called the rabbit 'Afton'. One of the woman's friends called the rabbit 'William'.
The visions flicker by faster and faster, as as the in-game handunit echoed out that there was nothing more to find, the visions abruptly stopped, and Jeremy collapsed, seemingly having been let go of whatever was holding him still. But he knew a lot more now. This entity was the ghost of William Afton.
Jeremy spent a lot more time in the testing room after this, constantly trying to hunt down William again, but always being frozen by visions. He doesn't remember much of this time, but he remembers one thing: when William tried to take full control over his body, he remebered the man who fought William in the dilapidated CEOs office. He used the office's own guillotine paper cutter to slice the VR headset off of his own face.
He came to in the hospital some days later. In that time, Sylvia had been posessed, Cassey fragmented William and drove him back into the game, Cassey hired a PI who shared Jeremy's forename and the PI helped her eradicate William from the game, and Cassey had lost and eye in the process.
Jeremy B had woken up just in time for Ness to go through the game to make sure that William was no longer in the game.
Nobody had suspected that he would have hid himself in the hardware.
William was able to posess Ness easily, and nothing the team tried could get him out of her mind.
All they could do now was contain William in order to prevent Faz Ent from getting their hands on their CEO's ghost. The game was no longer an attack vector, so Jeremy helped Cassey and Sylvia polish the game up to try and share their story and cover up the fact that William had latched onto someone already.
It was a pyrrhic victory though: Jeremy had lost his face, Sylvia had lost her mind, Cassey had lost and eye, and Ness now had William stuck in her brain.
But they all had a means of coping: Jeremy started to wear a visor to cover the scar, Cassey had a glass eye, and Sylvia found a specialised therapist. Ness, however, left the team: she was worried that William would hurt them if given the chance. Jeremy and the others understood completely.
After all of that chaos, Silver Parasol disbanded, but it was on paper only. The troupe became a ska band under the same name in order to keep their team's identity whilst Faz Ent effectively tried to fight air. In the meantime, Jeremy and Cassey also joined Sylvia as paranormal responders so they could help Ness from the sidelines.
But that wasn't the only help they offered. The game developing ska band created a mobile game called Princes Quest in order to subtly share Ness's story and hopefully create a new way to get William out of Ness's head. Three games were made in total, and Cassey made a mobile port of each of them, because arcade cabinets have a history of being a favoured method for ghosts and technology to effect one another: from the 'Maiden's tale' game that was a ghost-run puppet show performed in order to help a security guard withstand Gerald Taylor's influence, to the arcades that Theren played that helped many MCI kids find their happiest day. It was clear that if Princess Quest was to help Ness, an arcade port was their best shot.
During this time, Jeremy also decided to contact the journalist and arranged to meet him. Jeremy recognised the journalist from his visions, and the two discussed what they knew about Freddy's. The journalist then offered to let Jeremy B see his 'older' brother; this was a huge act of trust, as Jeremy B already knew how dangerous Freddy's was, now having some first hand experience in the matter, and that his brother would probably kill him, but Jeremy B just wanted to see his brother at least once in his life.
The visit went better than expected. Roy seemed happy to see his 'little' brother, and Jeremy felt as if he'd finally found what had been missing. Roy did, however, bestow a small parting gift, unknown to either Jeremy or the Journalist: the ability to sense death.
A few years later, Silver Parasol caught wind that William was planning on spiriting Ness away to the megaplex, which at the time was still under construction. Cassey had a plan, and simply told Jeremy to wait and see.
The opening day of the megaplex arrived, help wanted ads flooded the papers, and Cassey came to Jeremy with some computer chips and some official looking documents: she had secured Jeremy a position as part of the megaplex's day security team - the legitimacy of which Jeremy left unquestioned - and needed him to install the Princess Quest ROM chips into any three arcade machines in order to set up the trilogy of games as a series of arcades; if William's plans hinged on the megaplex, then setting up the arcades in that place should help free Ness from William, whether Ness was at the megaplex or not.
Whrn Ness went missing later that year, Jeremy noticed that both Princess Quest 1 and Princess Quest 3 had been moved.
He searched for them, but with no leads and his clearance being so low that he was forced to take vents to so much as get to his post, he couldn't find them.
To make matters more interesting, Sylvia had taken up the position of head of security recently too. He figured that the arcades were moved just so she wouldn't find them.
Things seemed dire. But also interesting.
The first time he was actually able to talk to Sylvia was on the day of what would become known as The Riot. Jeremy was at the first meeting during the day, and had worked with Gaz to ensure that enough chaos had spread amongst staff to keep them alive. During this first incident of the day, he found Sylvia and Luis in the changing rooms, with Sylvia having just had a panic attack over the fact that she was the only guard who had not been sacked. Whilst Jeremy had saved everyone at the meeting at the staff cafeteria, he also knew that at 11 AM, prior to the meeting that Jeremy thwarted, the construction crew had been killed. He didn't tell Sylvia, lest the fact that people had already died today freak her out, as Sylvia was already in a mentally fragile state. Instead, he helped her pull herself together, and they unscrewed a bunch of doors, clearing out most of the maintenance tunnels before they went to the 11:30 PM All Staff Meeting that was also held at the staff cafeteria, which Jeremy and Sylvia already knew would be used to not just sack the rest of the staff, but would be used by management to attempt to kill any living being in the building.
Arriving slightly late was a good call, as it gave Sylvia the jump on an exec who had held the head technician at gunpoint, and from there, Jeremy incited the rest of the staff to rally and fight against the staffbots and endos, as with most staff having access to at least one or more of a FazCam, Fazerblaster, or a flash beacon, rendering the animatronics immobile in order to pick them off was a cinch. Jeremy stayed at the staff cafeteria to protect the rest of the staff, whilst Sylvia went off to the daycare, as there were some staff who had been unable to leave their posts who would now be trapped there.
When the morning arrived, Jeremy already knew that nobody had died during the buildings nightly lockdown before everyone was counted.
A few days later, Jeremy learned that during an incident known as the Breach, Sylvia and a kid had used the Princess Quest arcades in order to free Ness. Jeremy was quite proud of both Sylvia and the kid for getting the arcades to work, and of himself for setting the arcades up, and of Cassey for being the brains behind the Princess Quest operation that orchestrated getting the games into the arcade machines of the megaplex in the first place.
Jeremy B did take part in the Raid on the Megaplex, and he helped Cassey go through the information that she gathered after. Then when the Ruins incident occured and revealed that Faz Ent had plans to not just kidnap Ness, but had plans to grab Sylvia and a small girl named Cassie as well in order to create a whole unit of Vannys, Jeremy realised that Silver Parasol would need to get back together as game developers in order to throw a spanner into the works of Faz Ent's new plans.
Jeremy helped with the development of PQ4: as William was still able to posess Ness normally and had been doing so, with Ness and her dad's ghost keeping William contained for now, PQ4 would allow Ness to seal William away in her mind, preventing him from jumping from her to anything or anyone else for as long as she lived. It was a plan that would require constant maintenance, but it would be a massive advantage in regards to keeping Faz Ent's plans at bay.
On the day where the containment was due to take place, Jeremy wasn't made aware of all of the details: he knew that Cassey and Ness would tell him after the fact. His objective was to protect the two until the process had been completed. He knew that the lack of upfront knowledge was on purpose; if someone did come to attack, Faz Ent wouldn't be able to get any information out of Jeremy. Though fortunately, no such incidents occurred, and the whole process went off without a hitch.
William was contained. Cassie and her dad were now under the protection of Silver Parasol: Cassie and her father both under Sylvia's physical protection and Cassie now a part of those who were linked to Princess Quest.
Whatever plans Faz Ent had, Silver Parasol would be right there to throw a spanner in the works.

The rope was still there.
It was frayed, and it was stretched, but it was still there.
Just like how Two had left it.
Bunker zero had not changed one bit in the 12 years since that incident.
The only reason why Two came back to the bunker was because Clay had reopened the investigation in order to prove that Technician Two, "Morgan Smith", was still alive. Mike Schmidt wasn't sure if Clay yet knew that the 'missing' Morgan Smith was standing right in front of him.
And during that investigation into the bunker, Mike Schmidt discovered that his memory of what happened in bunker zero may not have been as complete as he expected.

Phone guys polaroid [FNAF, Renegade AU]
https://www.deviantart.com/paigelts05/art/1101525291
Published: Sep 22, 2024
Across all Freddy's locations, there are several constants. Fredbear chomping down on a kid's skull, a bite of 87. At least one missing persons incident. The role a handful of guards fill. One of those roles being a Phone Guy.
Here are 4 of many.
Krasnyy Guy, the youngest phone guy on record. He worked at the location that was was given the code letter 'C'. Unlike the others who were given a standard company greeting and a suggestion to record tapes for future guards, Krasnyy was given far more prompting in a script written around the greeting to tell him things like 'mention why you are recording the message (do not say you were told to)', 'you MUST read out the standard greeting', 'you may not state the real reason behind why the animatronics kill: there is a company approved reason', etcetera. Krasnyy always.abided by the letter but not the spirit, relying on double and hidden meanings to try and convey the truth to other guards whilst misdirecting management. Back in 87, they'd done the same thing when they hid him in a side room and told him to record training tapes for the summer, but he instead used the chance to warn the guard of the dangers of the 1987 location, slapping 'welcome to your new summer job' as a formality on his first recorded phone call. There wasn't much difference between the situation that he found himself in back in 1987, and the situation that he eas in during the 'night 4 incident' of 1993. Also, by giving Krasnyy these extra prompts, Faz Ent was able to make the calls that he recorded line up eerily closely with the ones that Ralph would record over two months later. Krasnyy was also the only phone guy whose night 4 recording was interrupted by another person instead of any animatronics: the groan was Vincent Taylor, and the 'robotic' scream was Krasnyy's own scream. The voices of the posessed tend to come out weird when the ghost and host are working in tandem like Vincent and Ina, and Krasnyy and Philip were that night. After the somehow winning the fight, he opted to hide within the building as leaving the building was too risky. He hid in the safe room for three months before his best friend, Mike Schmidt, was able to find him and smuggle him out of the building. Krasnyy is a journalist, and is the only surviving phone guy to have kept working at the same Freddy's location after 'night 4', as it was dubbed. He finally left when location C closed down in 1997. The only reason why he stayed that long was due to the animatronics opting to not kill him or Mike, but instead severely harm them, both physically and mentally, whenever they were caught, as being posessed made the animatronics see those two night guards as being like them but traitors instead of possible suspects. The animatronics intentions were to have either Mike or Krasnyy work for them so that they could have a human hunting down their killer during the day, and they succeed with Krasnyy, making him 'the voice of the animatronics'. The years spent working at Freddy's had left permanent scars. No longer working at Freddy's meant more time to write articles about the darker side of that place, so that people know that neither he nor others that were left scarred by that place are crazy.
Paul Scott, the phone guy with the shortest tenure and temper. He worked at the location that was was given the code letter 'Y'. He was given a company greeting, and despite his hatred and coy attempts to hide the truth between the lines, his professionalism and grim determination to see things through and finish what he started made him record phone calls that were eerily similar to those that Ralph would make over two months later. He recorded his night 4 call on his fourth night, and whilst he doesn't remember what happened after the animatronics caught him, he's certain that he saw his own decapitated body on the floor before passing out. He woke up in a hospital that looked more like an underground facility over a month later, and aside from a scar around his neck and his hair being cut at that length, he has no way of verifying what really happened that night. He met someone who had a similar role to him whilst in that facility, but they both passed out when trying to figure out where they were and what was going on. When he came to next, he was in a normal hospital, and it had been three months since that horrible night shift. He has no idea how he is alive. He didn't even bother sticking his nose around at Freddy's again go find out, as he already knew from his first night that the company has been planning on letting him go by the end of the week. He just didn't expect to lose three months of his life because of it. And besides, the guard that was working at Freddy's 90 days later had found his cut off hair shoved inside a Freddy head, so he knew that his neck injury had to have happened in parts and service: his memory of that night was correct on location, but he still could not explain how he survived decapitation, even though it seemed more and more likely that the blurry memory that he had was completely correct. He wears a choker to cover up his scar, and his hair did grow back in time, so by the time the last active Freddy's locations of the era closed in 1997, he looked almost like his old self again.
'Zero', the phone guy whose actions were - unknown to him - held as the template for what those in the role of 'phone guy' should do. He worked at the location that was was given the code letter 'O', but it was also refered to as location 0, or the origin location. Zero's real name was Ralph back when he was alive, and he was unaware that Faz Ent used him as a template for a 'constant variable' that they had across all their locations. He had always thought that 'phone guy' was just a nickname, and whilst sometimes it was just that, knowing what he knows now he knows that when it came from the mouth of his boss, it wasn't a nickname, but his role. After his death, he was distressed to find out that back in August 1993, almost all the others in his role had been wiped out with very few survivors, meanwhile, his own demise was spelled almost three months later in early November 1993. Whilst at first he had no idea why Faz Ent had gone to such lenths get kill him and his cohorts killed, the answer was rather clear: they all knew too much and were liable to speak out if they survived much longer. He himself had become aware of the names of the ghosts within the animatronics on his instincts alone, and he had discovered something else about the animatronics during his final week that Faz Ent didn't want getting out. Ralph is a seer, and so is Bronwen Light. They both used their phones as an anchor to try and navigate Ralph's final five nights; Ralph just trying to make it out alive so he could go back home to his daughter, and Bronwen trying to make sure that the animatronics wouldn't overcharge and escape to terrorise the town. Ralph found only one path where his daughter would be safe and at least one of himself or Bronwen would survive: on his fifth night, he recorded a voicemail for the next guard: his night 4 recording. Due to keeping the animatronics attention, Bronwen was able to survive, and as Ralph was dead, the animatronics stopped trying to escape, so his daughter, Coppelia, wasn't in danger. Bronwen brought Ralph's phone back to Coppelia, and whilst Ralph had lost most of his memories, he could always recognise his daughter. As he learned more about the other locations, first from Bronwen and later from other phone guys, he started to go by the name 'Zero' to try and hide his old self in hopes that Faz Ent and the animatronics wouldn't go after his daughter again.
Phina Guy, the phone gal who used a voice modular when recording in hopes of being taken seriously as an instructor. She worked in the location that was given the code Phina, like Ralph, had loved Freddy's. Phina loves music, and loves using music to tell stories and make people smile, so working at a place with singing robots that made both kids and robots smile was like a dream come true for her! She even got to work the day shift, so she saw many performances live, and in the early 80's she even got to sing underneath the stage to give Chica a voice when the robot's voice box malfunctioned. When she found out that kids had started to go missing in 1985, she was devastated and did everything she could to try and find them. But like many others, she never thought to check inside the robots. As that location was sunsetted and gave way to a new and improved location in 1987, she hoped things would be better, but she was devastated when she discovered that someone had used one of the legacy suits and killed five more kids; she was distressed knowing that the guard had been in danger the whole time as the animatronics acting weird hadn't been a malfunction: they had been posessed. Predictably, that location closed too, and the next one lasted much longer, but in 1993, Phina knew it wouldn't last to the end of the year. By now, she didn't mind, and she didn't even want to stick around, so she put in her two week's notice. The first week went alright, but for her second week, she was moved to the night shift. Already being aware of how dangerous Freddy's was at night thanks to Frith and Janet fortunately surviving to tell the tale (and thanking her whilst they told her: Phina didn't feel like deserved thanks though), Phina did what she always did: set up some calls for the next guard. The first three nights went as fine, but on the fourth night, the animatronics were at her position in a flash: she had to fight for every second of time, and she hadn't had time to record a message that night so far, so as she eeked out a few more seconds, she made one last call to the next guard. She knew there was a good chance that she'd die, so she wanted to give whoever came next enough hints to find her. She wasn't sure if it was luck, or something else, but the animatronics didn't cram her in a mascot suit like she'd expected: she doesn't remember how many times they scratched and slashed at her, or how many times they hit her, or how many bones they broke. She only remembered waking up in a hospital that seemed to be underground, where she met Paul. As they tried to piece together what had happened, Phina thought that something smelled strange before they both passed out. She then woke up in a regular hospital, and her girlfriend Mina told her that it had been three months. Phina had gone missing three months ago, and about one and a half to two months ago, she'd been transferred to this hospital, but the hospital listed as the one that she had been transferred from didn't exist. Phina was just happy to be alive, and she begun to write and compose music, using it to try and tell the world about what she knew, hiding the truth within metaphors in the lyrics.

This was written for Vanweek, an event hosted by hallogenrobotics on tumblr dedicated to Vanny and Vanessa. I made this as the one thing I'm planning on doing for this event, and I based it on the second day AU prompt 'bad ending', but I'm using it as a regular prompt, meaning that this is day 1's Free space and free space means Renegade AU time, because it immediately gave me ideas and allowed me to flesh out what happened between the end of the Raid and before Prelude of Ruin. So here we have a post-Raid pre-Ruin scenario, where everyone thinks things are finally going to die down, but Faz Ent is planning on kidnapping Ness in order to "regain control over Vanny". A fact that makes Sylvia's thoughts that she'll be able to go home in a few days sting just a little more.
=ยฐโข.๐น.โขยฐ=
Immediately after the Raid, Officer Vanessa Sylvia Blake's first dream is a horrible nightmare born from the little Seer's deductions. The Seer keeps trying to figure out every little detail of the megaplex, now more than ever thanks to having more information thanks to the Raid, but he manages to pull a sleeping Sylvia into his deductions too because of one ghost who had good intentions.
You see, Sylvia is posessed by Elizabeth and Gregory is posessed by Evan, and Liz wanted to help out her brother and the Seer whom he possesses, but she didn't know that it it would pull her own host into the deduction too.
Now in a mindscape born of information and deductions, Sylvia can't do anything but live through one of Gregory's Bad Deductions.

[๐น Worst night's sleep ๐น]
Sylvia was exhausted.
The Raid had taken a toll on both her body and mind, so as soon as she got back to her temporary accommodation and sat down on her bed, she fell asleep, still in her old, torn, and bloodied guard uniform.
Fire raged around Sylvia.
Whereโฆ Was she?
She couldn't see much at all, and couldn't hear anything over the fire alarm, but she ran towards what she hoped was an exit. All the smoke seemed to be traveling that way. Her head was too fuzzy to remember if that was the correct option or the wrong option. But she had to take that chance. Her brain felt as if it was as full of smoke as her lungs.
As she ran, she found herself running up a flight if stairs, and then she hit fresh air.
Fresh early morning air.
It was still dark.
She couldn't see the stars.
And not a person in sight.
She headed over the edge of the building, hoping to gain some bearings on where she was.
Sylvia didn't exactly know what she was seeing.
A white blob surrounded by red on the floor below the megaplex.
Why was she back at the megaplex? Why was she on the roof?
Hadn't she just left that place for good? The Raid was over now; she never had to step foot back in this place again, right?
She tried to remem-
It suddenly felt as if a huge chunk of her mind had been ripped out. Her memories were failing her. But she couldn't let that stop her.
She had to save her sister before she could leave this place.
Then once they were out, she'd be able to help Mike plan the Raid as they'd finally have proof of Faz Ent kidnapping Ness.
But something in her gut told her that there was no goal anymore.
As she kept on looking down at the shapes on the tarmack below, they made sense.
That was the Vanny costume.
'Strange, why would she just throw it off the roof? Did someone free her when I wasn't looking?'
She thought to herself as the scene below was still a blur in her mind.
She felt as if she knew that she was in denial.
She kept on looking, and noticed something she already knew would make her wish that she hadn't seen it.
The costume wasn't empty.
The mask was a smaller white blob, and she saw the distinctive bleached blonde hair; one of the many things William had forced her sister into doing was bleaching her hair.
She had already seen everything on the ground below clearly, but just didn't want to acknowledge what she was seeing.
She did not want to acknowledge what she was seeing.
Her sister was on the ground, surrounded by blood, at the foot of the fire escape.
And so was Freddy, broken beyond reasonable repairs.
Hadโฆ Freddy pushed Ness off of the roof?
Even from up here, it was clear that Ness was dead. There were no signs of breathing. Her neck was at an awkward angle. There was too much blood, and Sylvia knew what too much blood actually looked like.
Nothing short of possession would save Ness now.
She had one question on her mind.
Why?
Why did that bear kill her sister?
Sylvia couldn't will herself to move. No matter how hard she tried or how much she wanted to run down the fire escape steps, she could hardly move. The tears didn't stop falling either. She didn't know when she started crying, but she couldn't stop. And even if she could, she wouldn't. She couldn't stop shaking. The mere thought of moving made her feel as if she was going to collapse. The heat around her from the building burning below her made her feel as if she was going to burn, but even with the fire, she still felt cold.
Distant.
So very very dizzy.
A flood of memories hit her like a truck. The raid was over. This was all suposed to be over. Why was she back at the breach. Why was her sister's hair back to bleached blonde when she'd dyed it before the Raid. Why did Freddy push her sister off of the roof again. Why was she far too late to grab her like she did last time, during the Raid when William controlled Freddy into making that attempt on Ness's life?
Why was she seeing this horrid scene in front of her eyes.
Sylvia collapsed to her knees. If her sister was dead, then the past month of her life meant nothing. Everything she tried to achieve had just been ripped away. Her sister would never experience the freedom they'd worked so hard to reclaim.
She didn't care as everything faded as the fire surrounded her.
Because even if the fire escape was still functioning, she didn't see a point.
Sylvia woke up slowly. There was no scream, nor was there a moment of shooting up out of bed.
Instead, she crawled out of bed, still shaking. She slowly pulled herself to her feet, but collapsed to the floor with a loud thud. As she hit the ground, she felt her hands brush against her face. Her cheeks were burning with tears, and she hadn't even noticed.
As she tried to pull herself up again, she heard the door open.
"Is everything OK? Gregory said he heard crying and then a thud."
It was Ness. She was alive.
Sylvia tried to open her mouth to respond, but only a pained wail escaped.
Almost as if on instinct, Ness crouched down by her older sister's side and gave her a hug.
Ness didn't need to know the specifics of Sylvia's dream to know vaguely what happened: Gregory had nightmares about the Breach incident and Raid. Ness just figured that her older sister was just having much of the same.
[๐น Explanations ๐น]
Sylvia went over to Ness, Luis, and Gregory's room for the rest of the night. As Ness got back into bed, Sylvia noticed that the laptop that stored a copy of all of the Breach incident security camera recordings was not only on, but plugged into the wall. And Gregory was sitting nearby, looking a bit nervous.
"Gregory, are you running deductions again?" Sylvia asked.
Gregory nodded.
"You don't need to. Please, let the adults handle this. I know you don't trust adults to handle stuff properly, and believe me, you're justified, but you're still a kid," Sylvia wasn't mad: she couldn't be. She tried doubly hard to make sure that her tone matched her intentions too, because she genuinely just wanted Gregory to go back to having a childhood, "Try to enjoy yourself whilst you can. Deduce the best speedrun for your favourite game or something, please."
Gregory shook his head. "What was your nightmare about?" He asked with a particular look in his eyes. One of knowing and seriousness. Sylvia knew the look in Gregory's eye: he wasn't trying to change the subject.
"I was on the megaplex rooftop, and from what I could put together, Freddy had pushed Ness off of the roof before I got thereโฆ" Sylvia replied.
Gregory nodded.
"I'm sorry," the kid mumbled, "I don't know how, but you're connected to my deductions."
"It's Elizabeth," Sylvia stated almost immediately, "you saw her during the Raid. She only starting to appear after my managers started to micro-inject remnant into me well before the Riot, and she's why I was put in therapy. She'd been somewhat dormant until the Raid. Then during it, she started manifesting more again. Then you remember, in the fight against Afton: she wanted him dead more than I did I swear, she just flat out took over and was the last push we needed to make William burn himself alive. She's really changed since the CL4 and EnTrap incidents."
"Go on," Gregory seeemd slightly confused, but also as if he understood everything.
"Basically, now Liz and I have the same sort of connection that you and Evan do, and the fact that Liz and Evan are siblings," Sylvia started, paused, and then took a deep breath before continuing, "But it's simpler than you think: Evan is just asking Liz for help with his deductions: Liz did passively observe my perspective of the Breach, and Evan really doesn't want to accidentally simulate Ness getting torn apart again."
"So how does that put you - the actual you - in my deductions?" Gregory asked, knowing that Sylvia probably already knew the answer.
"When Liz accepted to help with the deduction, she essentially just joined the deduction; simple as that. And guess who also wound up getting dragged in because her body is connected to Liz's ghost because she's possessing me: me."
Gregory was silent for a moment before he replied. "How did you figure this out?"
"I just figured it out I guess. Helps that dealing with stuff like this is my day job. I'm sure you've noticed that you just know things that only Evan should know about," Sylvia mused, she would have not been entirely sure if it wasn't for the fact that she has spent plenty of time around posessed folk and had to learn how it all worked for her job as a paranormal responder, "It's that. Well, it's a bit more complex than that, but it's basically that: we can sometimes feel each others thoughts and emotions because she lives in my central nervous system."
"Figured as much," Gregory nodded, "I keep remembering the war that Evan died in, so you knowing that Liz agreed to help with deductions and you getting dragged in as a result should have been obvious."
"You're like, ten or something, knackered from the Raid, and have been running deductions - with memory locking - instead of sleeping. I'm surprised that you actually remember who I am," Sylvia gave Gregory a pat on the head as she spoke, "get some rest, kid."
Gregory nodded as he shut the laptop and clambered into bed.
Meanwhile, Sylvia bunkered down at the side of Ness and Luis's bed.
"Aren't you going back to your own room?" Gregory whispered.
Sylvia shook her head. "I don't think I'll be able to sleep without being in the same room as my sister tonight, if I can sleep at all."
"Fair. G'night," Gregory shrugged before falling asleep.
And that left Sylvia alone again.
"Everything ok?" She heard Ness's voice.
Sylvia had to stop herself from jumping; she'd forgotten that her sister was also awake. Ness was just so quiet these days, and just how quiet she was was pretty unnerving, unnerving because Sylvia knew why and how.
Sylvia shook her head. "No, I'm not. I saw you almost die so many times during the Raid, and Liz decided to help Gregory and Evan run deductions, which dragged me into it, which made me have to see you die during that deduction."
As she had spoke, her voice had shook, starting off with a small shake, and ending with Sylvia practically in tears, barely holding on.
She didn't think too much about the silence after she had spoke until she found herself in her sisters arms. Ness had managed to sneak to her side without Sylvia noticing. That much was expected; Ness had had a trial by fire in terms of having to learn to move around silently: William had demanded perfection and had dished out harsh punishments when perfection was not obtained; inhumanely unfair, seeing as that madman had been practically piloting Ness like a meat puppet the whole time that he had controlled her for whilst at the megaplex, so he had - to put it bluntly - been punishing Ness for his own shortcomings birthed of years of inactivity. Thinking about what William had put her little sister through made Sylvia cry even more.
"It's ok. I survived everything William threw at me during the Raid, and that nightmare of yours was just one of Gregory's deductions," Ness cooed as she held her sobbing sister, "and, if William wants to possess me again, he has to do so normally. His 'alternative vector' won't work anymore."
"Alternative vector?" Sylvia asked, "like, as in VR headsets?"
Ness shook her head. "Nope," she smiled, "that old family heirloom that I thought was the whole reason why he was able to possess me in the first place. 1 - it's broken now, and 2 - all it does, well did, was reduce my resistance to possession. Our great great great grandma was a medium who was resistant to possession so getting posessed hurt more, so she made it to help her help ghosts better and not be in agony so much, but cos it was made so so long ago, before anyone started to bother understanding ghosts, it had a bunch of complications. Like being tied to our bloodline because the use of it inadvertantly filled it with remnant - which GGG Gran did not know about either. So, it was only really useful to William because I already had a blood tie to it and a low possession resistance. It basically let him slip out of the headset he was hiding in and into me without causing the tell-tale pain that getting posessed by Mr I-got-springlocked-three-or-more-times would cause."
"So that's why when it happened to Cassey, she passed out, but when it happened to you, all you felt was pain in your eyes from where he jumped from the headset to you," Sylvia mumbled.
"That's right!" Ness nodded, "and that's why I was in pain when he tried to possess me during the Raid."
Sylvia started to shake. She briefly remembered how she felt when she had been posessed: she had been the second. Between Jeremy and Cassey. To think her sister had gone through such pain? After all this? Sylvia found her cheeks drenched in tears; she couldn't stop crying.
"I just made it worse didn't Iโฆ" Sylvia heard Ness mumble before her little sister sighed, "well, I guess I'll just have to keep you company untill you go back to sleep."
Sylvia didn't remember when she nodded off, and she didn't remember if she'd had a dream or not. But her back and butt ached from sitting on the floor all night. She panicked for a moment until she saw Ness still sitting beside her, asleep, breathing, and Sylvia only then realised that she was leaning on Ness.
As she pulled herself together and thought about the day ahead, Sylvia thought to herself, "just a few more days in this cursed town, just gotta get through the paperwork and questioning, and we'll all be able to go home."

The MCI's Witness [FNAF, Renegade AU]

Happy belated anniversary to FNAF!
For my anniversary peice, I have a drawing and a fic that I made as a part of my Phone Guy Month over on Tumblr.
This one is for prompt 10 - Murder?! And in this piece, I show you one of FNAF's core tragedies, from the perspective of an all too curious witnessโฆ
Warning: there are very brief mentions of blood and violence, but it isn't very explicit at all.

August 1987: 5 children went missing at a birthday party hosted for nobody, lured away by a man in a mascot costume that should have been put out of order ages ago, but had been on the performer rotation as 'animatronic only' until recently.
Unlike the other missing children incidents at other Freddy's locations that all happened two years prior, this one had a witness. Krasnyy Guy, head of training for security, used the recordings taken of the party to try and locate the kids, but when he found them, it was too late. He also knew exactly who was wearing the suit from his eyes alone.
Given that he had the moment of the last murder on video, he thought he was next.
However, he was chased out by shadow bonnie, Ina's ghost, and when someone did attempt to kill him after he fled the building and down the street, heading to the police station, he was only shot once in the leg, and nothing else.
The bullet removed from his leg, testimony from parents about him talking to them since the party started, and what patrons reported as clearly a ghost that resembled the shadowy silhouette of spring bonnie chasing him out of the bathrooms shortly after he went to check that area for the missing children, and the footage from his camera all took him off the suspect list.
However the footage was too grainy to identify the perpetrator, and Ina had disguised as Vincent after the man had changed into the spring bonnie costume, giving Vincent an alibi with the only counter-evidence being that Ina Vincent was avoiding Krasnyy's camera, as she knew she'd cause interference in the recording if it caught her in the frame. It didn't help that Krasnyy descended into a panic attack whenever he even thought about the MCI, rendering him unable to speak on the matter; Faz Ent had effectively silenced him without even having to kill him. But the most important factor of all, who would believe him that Vincent Taylor, father of two of the victims, was the killer?
It was a seemingly normal day in the middle of August, 1987. The party seemed to be going normally, until one of the parents realised that their kids were missing.
Then a few others also realised that they couldn't find their kids.
Krasnyy had been recording the birthday party at his manager's request. He didn't know whose party it was: the Taylor twins birthday had passed a few months ago and had ended in a horrifying incident that he certainly couldn't forget, and the next birthday in the twins friend group wasn't until next month, and as the party invitations had been dished out as if it was for this friend group - though they were handed to one of the parents of each kid instead of to the kids themselves - Krasnyy couldn't help but wonder who or what this party was for.
He had been interacting with the parents, and it had been nice to be able to talk to other adults - even if he only 19. When everyone begun to notice that the kids had gone missing, Krasnyy had immediately checked his recording to see if he could find where they had wandered off to, and he noticed a particular yellow rabbit costume, and he noticed the five kids following it.
The five kids were Felix and Gerald Taylor, Celes, Roy, and Ferdinand.
It reminded him of the news stories that had come out of other Freddy's locations within the past two years.
When he brought it up to the parents, he noticed that Camilla, the intelligent chemist and mother to Celes and Susanna, the latter of which was the only one of Camilla's daughters present in the room with them, had a sombre look on her face. When Krasnyy suggested heading over to the area of the pizzeria where the yellow rabbit had gone to see if the kids were still there, he swore that he saw her reach out to grab his sleeve as if to stop him, but she pulled back, her fingers only ever brushing the air around his work shirt. It felt eerily as if she knew something that he didn't and didn't want him to leave the table as a result.
Well, now he knew why.
After he followed where he had seen the yellow rabbit taking the kids, he found that the safe room door - one of those hidden doors that usually lies flush with the wall, but has a slight seam around it to tell you that there is a door here - was ajar.
The safe room door was supposed to be closed at all times, but it had been left open, and the smell of iron was emanating from it.
His curiosity had gotten the better of him, and with his camera still running, he peeked through the door.
Aโฆ Murder?!?
Hundreds of thoughts ran through Krasnyy's brain as he tried to comprehend the scene in front of him. Five bodies on the floor, each terrified, but each seemingly having been given a very quick death, despite the copious amounts of blood.
His eyes and camera then fell back on the culprit: a man wearing the costume of the yellow rabbit. In the dim light, the man's eyes were barely visible underneath the mascot head, but he knew those eyes that were devoid of any emotions other than sadnesses anywhere.
What had forced Vincent Taylor to murder his own children, Gerald and Felix? Did Camilla know that Celes would be dead? Did they both know in advance? Is that why they both looked so miserable as they gave their kids the best day of their lives yesterday?
Because they knew it would be thier kid's last day alive.
Did Vincent's wife, Noire, and Camilla's husband, Dorian, know?
Krasnyy felt Vincent's eyes meet his own, and he felt frozen to the spot.
He had not only witnessed a murder, but had recorded it on camera.
He was going to die.
But before Vincent could begin to approach him, something else leaped out at him first. The shadowy form of a rabbit. And her presence alone shorted his camera.
Is that why Vincent had been so sheepish after 'returning from the bathroom': it had been Ina, pretending to be the man that she normally posessed.
With a fresh burst of adrenaline, Krasnyy ran from the scene screaming. He ran away from the safe room, ran out of the bathroom corridor, did a heel turn, and then ran straight for the entrance corridor and exit.
As he ran towards the police station, thinking that maybe if they got the footage soon enough, he'd be able to be kept safe and maybe he'd live - a gunshot rang out.
Krasnyy felt as if a metal beam had been stabbed into his leg. It burned, and his leg could no longer support his weight, so he collapsed.
He figured that he was a gonner: he was now a sitting duck collapsed in the middle of the pavement. But no second shot ever came.
From the pain in his leg, he knew that the assailant had the high ground. He knew he was still visible.
So as the blood loss and fear darkened his vision, Krasnyy wondered "how am I not dead yet."
The next thing Krasnyy remembered was waking up on the waiting room couch of the police station, where someone had managed to patch up his leg. From the searing pain that still ripped through the impact site and through his leg, he knew he wouldn't be able to run again any time soon.
He doesn't remember if he went to the hospital later, or if he wound up just recovering either at the station or at Mike's mum's place, but he finds it hard to remember through the blur visceral fear.
After all, after witnessing a murder at 19, he's surprised he remembers anything else about that day: the only thing he remembers clearly was the murder.
He remembers exactly what he saw, yet he cannot say it. Every time he remembers, panic takes over, forcing him sometimes to tears, and sometimes into a state of dread and fear far beyond tears, that renders him unable to speak, write or even move.
He may be alive, but Faz Ent had still managed to silence him, without blackmail and without killing him.
It was almost poetic in a fucked up way: his job was to train people, often over the phone, using his words to tell people all about how to work at Freddy's and survive the one animatronic that may sometimes try to kill the guard (that puppet was an odd thing; Krasnyy has no idea where it came from or if he can trust it or not, as some nights it would try to kill him, yet other nights it would seem to recognise him from somewhere and leave him be, but his father had taught him how to deal with it, and in turn, he teaches the guards to not forget the music box, as whilst the springlock animatronics that the puppet can somehow force to roam on its behalf are easy to deal with, the puppet itself is almost always a death sentence if it escapes it's box), and yet he couldn't use those words to tell anyone about what had happened in the safe room that day.
All he could do was use his words to warn other guards that there would be five more animatronics trying to kill them from now on.
Krasnyy knew it'd take years to be able to even think about the MCI without the sheer memories of it rendering him mute and immobile, but he hoped that one day, maybe he'd be able to reveal what he saw, even if it might cost him his life in the process, because to Krasnyy, that's what a journalist does.

Injury [FNAF, Renegade AU]

Behold: the drawing that inspired me to create Phone Guy month. I was originally going to have a personal event where for August, I drew Krasnyy, usually with him being in danger like this one, but I instead decided to run an event for everyone to get in on the fun.
https://phoneguyfnafmonth.tumblr.com/
I have assigned this drawing to be my completion of the prompt "injury".
This drawing depicts a typical night shift for Krasnyy: having to hide from the animatronics whilst they play their games. They know that he is innocent, and he knows that they know. Gerald Taylor, the ghost within this location's Golden Freddy, hunts for fun, to get people either out of the way or to break them down so that they may join the hunt on the side of the animatronics. Even Cassidy Andrews, Location 0's Golden Freddy, the one William should not have killed, finds Gerald Taylor to be a truly disturbing individual; more bloodthirsty than her, more sadistic than her, to the point where he hunts people who are confirmed to be innocent. But Krasnyy can't rely on anyone but himself and Shadow Freddy, the ghost of his deceased dad Philip Guy. Gerald Taylor hunts for fun, Roy and Celes follow Gerald for fun, Felix hunts out of obligation to his brother for what the cognitive behavioural adjustment he suffered at the hands of Faz Ent drove him to do to Gerald back in 1987, and Ferdinand hunts as Gerald's puppet leader, forced into his role against his will.
There is a reason why Freddy is the last animatronic to join the hunt; the voice of the animatronics and the animatronics puppet leader have a surprising amount in common.

Vanessa Sylvia Blake [FNAF, Renegade AU]
https://www.deviantart.com/paigelts05/art/1098936262
Published: Sep 15, 2024
Her sister being freed from William's control and the closure of the megaplex should have signalled a calm in Sylvia's life, but chaos loves company.
Daughter of Joy Diego and Bill Blake, she was born in 1993, and always preferred to be called Sylvia, as that was the name her mom chose for her.
Joy wanted to call her 'Sylvia [middle name of husband's choice] Blake'. Bill, however, messed with the paperwork and had her named Vanessa Sylvia Blake. Joy was not made aware, and due to being blind, had no way of finding this out for herself.
At four years old, her mom and father went through a messy divorce, with her father, Bill Blake, threatening Sylvia, the judge, and his own attorney in order to get his way in the custody hearing. Just before the judgements was passed, Sylvia broke her silence and revealed that she was threatened into lying about her mom, and cried that everyone else was more of a coward for not calling out the obvious contradictions in her statements. This caused the attorney to break down and reveal that he had also been threatened with murder if he didn't get Bill full custody. The judge, whilst having also been threatened, gave custody to Bill anyway even with everything stacked against him.
A few days later, the balcony of Joy Diego's apartment broke whilst she was standing on it, and in true Joy Diego fashion, she's perfectly OK aside from a sprained ankle, but the mainstream papers reported her as dead. Bill used this mainstream report to make Sylvia believe that her mom had died, and that it hadn't been an accident, and by the next day when a fairly well known paranormal investigative journalist released an article correcting the mistakes of the mainstream papers, showing that Joy was alive, Bill had already isolated Sylvia from being able to find any contradictory information, so the article never reached her.
Throughout her childhood, Bill had Sylvia subjected to electroshock 'therapy' due to her 'rebellious' behaviour. Due to this, she was in and out of various hospitals and mental hospitals for a long time, as once the doctors realised that Sylvia didn't have anything wrong with her, making the treatment unnecessary, Bill would take Sylvia and skip town.
She begun to plan her escape after meeting a woman who shared a part of her name, a lady called Vanessa Shelly who was currently recovering from a stab wound in the hospital. After sharing stories about shit fathers, Sylvia felt inspired to escape.
She made a handful of attempts, but she managed to finally run away from home for good at 16 (year 2009) and joined the CPD Paranormal Department as a paranormal responder so she could make rent whilst taking coding classes. Even though Mike tried to deter her, she insisted on joining, so in order to keep her from doing anything remotely more dangerous whilst she was still a kid, he did let her join as a junior paranormal responder, where she'd just be helping keep any kids involved with the cases entertained and happy, so she could play like a kid with other kids whilst feeling useful. Her choice to join the paranormal department was in part due to Joy having put Location C's Mike Schmidt down as Sylvia's legal guardian and Mike running that department, and in part due to the paranormal department effectively being social workers who use the fact that they are technically a police department in order to be the first at a scene and to keep the rest of the police force out of any of their cases.
Whilst she did see her mom quite frequently now as Joy was a good friend of Mike's, it took a while for Sylvia to realise that the blind woman she saw so often was actually her mom because Sylvia couldn't remember her face, in part due to the electroshock 'therapy' that Bill had subjected her to. Sylvia also realised that she had a little sister now.
After getting promoted to a full-time member of the paranormal department, Sylvia realised that Mike had essentially tricked her into being able to get paid for being a kid playing with other kids back in her junior role, and honestly, she was glad for it. Especially after hearing the stories of what Mike had done when he was her age (and his aversion to anything remotely tight around his neck now made sense to her. Sylvia was honestly surprised he could still wear shirts that had collars after all that he had gone through).
Sylvia was especially glad seeing as she completely flubbed her first assignment as she got knocked out whilst investigating an old Faz Ent HQ and woke up in a Faz-infirmary with the tell tale wounds of a Faz Ent style bone marrow extraction.
Several years later, whilst her and her sister were in college, they and a few mutual friends formed a small gaming company called Silver Parasol. They made a bunch of high quality mobile games and small PC titles over the course of a good few years, and whilst they were planning thier next mobile RPG, they received a contract from Faz Ent to work on a VR game. The pay seemed good, and the opportunity to snoop in on Faz Ent's plans were even better. Jeremy B and Cass sorted out the paperwork, and things seemed to be going OK until Faz Ent started trying to treat it like a buyout.
Upon reviewing the contract, it was clear that Faz Ent signed Silver Parasol's contract, so everything that Faz Ent was doing, all the way down to assigning Dale as a 'manager' to the troupe, was a breach of contract. After bringing it up to a solicitor, their solicitor told them to keep gathering evidence of breach of contract, then strike as soon as Faz Ent thinks the 'buy out' is done: after all, the troupe still needed to get that month's paycheque to survive.
In the meantime, Jeremy had survived cutting his face off, Sylvia had wound up with something in her head and had been saved by Cass fragmenting it back into the game. The same thing then got Cass, who got a PI that shared Jeremy's forename to help her drive it into the tapes, but Cass still wound up losing an eye to get the last bit of it out of her head, and then when they all thought they'd won and were making sure it was gone, Ness got posessed, and it didn't let her go.
This incident wound up with Silver Parasol temporarily 'disbanding' and becoming a ska band for a while in order to keep their company name and identity, as their case against Faz Ent was in a deadlock due to Faz Ent's nightmare lawyer's going 'well you're still in business'. Becoming a ska band also let them take a break from game Dev as they couldn't even look at a screen without seeing some hallucination of William's new form. Sylvia then managed to get Cass and Jeremy to become paranormal responders in order to better help Ness deal with her new problem and better share the truth of what happened, as whilst Ness was going into a new job to stay away as she felt as if she was a danger to her friends and sister thanks to a case of William Afton living rent free in her brain, Sylvia felt that she could best help by being on standby to be there for her in case something went wrong.
A few years after that, Faz Ent grabbed her whilst she was on an investigation mission; instead of extracting bone marrow like they had done ten years ago, they seemed to have injected something into her arm. Whilst she was officially out of commission on medical leave, she had noticed these past months that William had been getting more desperate to get Nessie somewhere, and Sylvia figured that this 'somewhere' was the megaplex, so she used the dirt she had on Bill to get a letter of recommendation out of him so that she could more easily snag the role of head of security. Shortly after this, William managed to whisk Ness away to the megaplex.
Sylvia met many colourful characters whilst working at the megaplex, some new and some familiar faces. She trained the night guards to handle the animatronics better than ever, and by the time Faz Ent tried to turn a mass layoff into a mass murderer, Sylvia was ready to give her life to protect her cohort of colleagues. She tackled an exec who was holding the head technician at gunpoint to the ground and wound up suffering some moderate injuries whilst protecting some of her colleagues whilst holding the daycare attendant in the daycare, but she survived it all.
About a week later, an incident known as the breach occured, and Sylvia almost died many times whilst balancing trying to save her sister and trying to keep Gregory safe, but it ultimately wound up being some sigils left by Desmond that allowed Sylvia's progress on the secondary arcades to be combined with Gregory's PQ progress that permitted Gregory to play PQ3 and free Ness.
About a week later, Sylvia took part in the Raid on the megaplex, and whilst she wound up in peril many times, she managed to figure out a 'reverse control theory' that wound up being used in order to get William to activate the burners in his rooms himself, as the pipes and cables had been damaged so they couldn't be activated in the way that Gregory had predicted.
At this point, everything should be wrapping up, with the only thing left to do being carrying out the court ordered demolition of the megaplex, but as soon as Sylvia's on the demolition crew, Faz Ent kidnaps her sister, again. So she headed to the megaplex, wound up getting followed in by Gregory and Freddy, and they were all immediately attacked and knocked out by Cheryl with an army of staffbots. They were able to escape and find Ness, whom Freddy's head had been delivered to, before Cheryl came back. When attempting to get out again, Cheryl came back with Todd C and Charles Ramirez and because the execs had guns, they managed to recapture Sylvia and co, but due to Charles R's plan with Syivia being 'attach Adelaide's control device to Sylvia', and said control device not working, Sylvia was able to bust out again, meet up with Ness, and save Gregory. Ness and Gregory left the megaplex, but Sylvia stayed behind to finish demolitions, but also keep an eye out because she had a hunch that Gregory had been initially kept in the sinkhole by Cheryl to lure someone else in.
Sylvia ended up being right and found that Cassie, Desmond's daughter, had been the target after finally finding her in a crashed elevator. Due to a different exec, tech exec Burrows, bringing the scapegoat mimic AI into a physical endo, and with that endo having hijacked Faz Ent's original plans with Cassie, Cassie and Syivia made an unlikely alliance with William, Adelaide, Bill, and Cheryl to destroy the mimic.
After operation kill mimic was a success, William was a man of his word: Adelaide helped Cassie, Roxy, and Syivia out of the sinkhole, and Cheryl and Bill cooperated in getting out of the megaplex.
When trying to find a way to the nearest hospital, the duo collapsed, and Roxy was able to find Cassie's dad, Desmond, who managed to get the now unconscious Cassie and very delirious Syivia to the hospital. There, Sylvia told Desmond that they'd figured out that the mystery stem cell donner that Desmond's sister used to create Cassie was in fact Sylvia: Sylvia was Bill Blake's 'mystery daughter' that Des and Cassie had been trying to find.
After being discharged from the hospital, Sylvia invited Desmond and Cassie to stay with her, and whilst it was a long move, far away from where Cassie and Desmond once called home, Desmond was glad to bid Hurricane good riddance. Cassie was initially reluctant, but became quick to warm up to the idea of moving after being informed that Gregory was moving in with Ness and Luis (who live near Sylvia's real home), and Tory, Elijah, and Rachel were all relocating to a place not far from where she would be moving to due to the remains of Faz Ent and the Megaplex posing a serious threat to theirs and their parents lives if they stuck around.
Shortly after moving in, Sylvia worked with Ness and Cassie to devise a plan to permanently contain William. A plan whose delivery of the console, game, and headset unfortunately have Desmond a panic attack, but that seemed to be his sister Alistair's plan in order to temporarily possess him in order to relay some important information in the most secure way. Once William had been contained, Sylvia would be the bridge connecting Ness and Cassey's efforts to contain William with the new efforts to hunt down and eliminate the mimic. Not to mention the constant efforts from Mike and Carl to keep Faz Ent from expanding.
Just her luck that Cassie and Desmond are being targeted by William and Faz Ent as well as the mimic. So if she wanted to make sure that Desmond and Cassie would remain safe whilst living with her, she'd have to remain vigilant. For their sakes.

Out of work and trying to provide for himself and his daughter, Desmond Anadem is offered something by his former employer: a chance at his old job back.
All he has to do is complete their training using a VR training system.
Even though they sent an off-the-shelf headset as a sign of good will, can he trust that even for a second that he will be safe?
=ยฐโข.๐น Story ๐น.โขยฐ=

Desmond Anademย was currently re-evaluating his life choices.
After getting fired, and then fired upon, he thought that Fazbear Entertainment was finally done with him. But they weren't.
After the Raid on the megaplex, which he took part in whilst his daughter decided upon staying outside as a sentry - something that definitely had something to do with what she did prior to the 'Breach' - to monitor what went in and out, he thought that Faz Ent would finally give up the goat.
But instead they sent him an off-the-shelf VR headset that was still in it's packaging, a pair of controllers that were also off-the-shelf, and a copy of their VR training system (it was not the VR environment of which his daughter had spoken of; this was a peice of software that had been made in a game engine that was not owned by Faz Ent, and was just a game used to train up new human staff).
It felt like an awfully grand gesture of trust building, to send him a VR system that had not been touched by Faz Ent. Likely because they knew that he knew what happened to many others who used Faz Ent proprietary headsets, and the VR environment that they had been stuck in.
But Sylvia's sister was using a non-Faz brand VR setup when William posessed her. They'd had time to talk about it during the Raid: he had known that Ness was posessed, but during the Raid, Sylvia and Ness had explained the how behind what happened. Desmond did not disclose his involvement in tampering with the arcades to make freeing Ness easier; nobody had deciphered his sigils yet, so nobody needed to know.
Turning his attention back to the letter, all it told him that he was just going to use the training program and nothing more. The only Faz-touched tech was the game itself.
The box also had a letter. It read that they planned to re-hire him at a better salary, but he'd need to re-complete his certifications, as they had been voided when he had been fired.
'Blaming me for you fucks trying to shoot me again, I see.'
Yet despite that, he didn't seem to be able to refuse the offer. Faz Ent knew where he lived, and until the police got around the red tape of securing him a job and accomodation far away from here, he'd need to play safe.
When he told Cassie about it, she agreed. This was the safest bet.
Get the certifications back, see where things went from there.
After completing what he thought were all the minigames, he grabbed the in-game faz-wrench and opened the secret door, deactivated the inhibitor, and noticed a poster.
'Remove your mask?' Desmond thought to himself, 'Faz Ent kept trying to introduce these masks, but we just kept on using the eyepieces instead because those masks gave me and everyone else the creeps. Here goes.'
He reached his hand to his head, hearing the controller clack against the VR headset he was wearing, and removed a mask from the player avatar's face.
The room around him looked as abandoned and decayed as the megaplex did after the raid.
He returned to the computer monitor, and he noticed something that wasn't there before; they had hard modes.
'Expecting more out of me than before I seeโฆ' he grumbled as he begun the second gauntlet, and as he did, something irked him.
The animatronics that appeared in these new minigames also looked somewhat as they did during and after the Raid. Expected. The Daycare Attendant was a destroyed mess after the second fire in Roxy Raceway destabilised most of the megaplex and so was the DJ, and this game reflected it. The memory of seeing the DJ so beat up during the Raid haunted him, as did the sight of the miserable sun he saw that night. The fact that they had only gotten worse after the Raid made him feel sympathy for them for the first time. And after the so-called earthquake that Desmond was sure was an explosion the other day caved in parts of the megaplex further, he found himself worrying for the mental states of those robots for the first time too. Also, he was certain that Fazbear Entertainment only wanted him back so they could repair thier severely damaged bots. Maybe they made this game to specifically train him for that.
If he got near those robots again, the first thing he'd probably do would be to talk to them and see how human they are. A thought that would have been foreign to him three weeks ago.
Once he'd completed the rest of the minigames and re-earned the most useless certifications to ever exist, he found himself surrounded by staffbots that had appeared out of nowhere - a recreation of what Faz Ent wanted to happen to him and his colleagues no doubt - and after the staffbots attacked, the screen turned to static.
He tried to remove his headset, but he couldn't.
He called out for his daughter, but received no reply.
He stepped about in his panic and tripped over a cable, so he was definitely still alive. And when the static cleared as he crawled to his feet, he saw a staffbot's start up screen.
'What in theโฆ'
And once it finished loading, he found himself seeing through the visual feed of a staffbot.
And then he saw his daughter.
He tried calling out to her, but she didn't seem to hear. The bot didn't output his audio input.
He tried to reach out to her, and the staffbot he was viewing the world through reached out.
And handed her that mask that only he and his daughter's sleeper side had seen. The Vanny mask; the mask that William had made to control Sylvia's sister. The mask that Sleeper had stolen before it had been used, and then lost after she saved Gregory and caused the Breach.
The mask that Fazbear Entertainment had tried to model technician masks after.
His daughter's Civilian alter, Civ, was currently fronting; he could tell from her eyes. She had never seen the mask before.
He tried to call for her to stop and put the mask down, but again, the staffbot didn't output his audio input.
He felt himself collapse to his knees as he watched Cassie put on the mask. And as she did, the staffbot shut down.
He could remove his VR headset again.
He threw the thing off with such force that it skidded to the other side of his apartment, landing under the shelf that held his father's retro Bonnie mask. He didn't care if the VR headset was broken or not.
Sweating, shaking, and disoriented, Desmond took a moment to breathe before clambering to his feet and calling for his daughter.
He didn't get a response.
Whilst he had been training, Cassie had gone off somewhere. And if that was really her who he had witnessed through the eyes of the staffbot, she was at a Fazbear Entertainment controlled facility. Though there was no way of telling which one.
Any Faz Ent facility could have staffbots. The mask could have been taken anywhere.
Cassie could be anywhere.
So he put on his work boots and ran outside.
Someone had to have seen his daughter, right?
