Me: I need a few groceries for easter dinner with my family, and another couple of little things for the Things' easter baskets so I think I'll just run to Target and get everything in one trip. Shouldn't cost more than about $30.

Target: But what if you remembered that you needed a new item from the pharmacy?

Target: And what if your favorite chips -- that are almost NEVER on sale at all -- were on an amazing sale?

Target: And what if you remembered another menu item for easter that required an additional purchase?

Target: And what if there were these really cute things to add to easter baskets that were individually only $1 each but you couldn't decide on just one for each person?

Target: And what if there was also a sale on a big bag of the perfect candy to put in the candy bowl?

Me: Yeah, all that sounds great.

Target: Excellent. That will be $80. Congratulations! You've saved $12 today!

On average, what is the total MONTHLY amount that you spend on dining out*?

*(This doesn't only count going out to restaurants, but also stuff like picking up fast food to bring home, getting a coffee on the way to work, getting a premade sandwich from a grocery store deli during lunch, buying a quick snack from a convenience store or food cart whilst walking somewhere, ordering a pizza or any other food to be delivered to your home, etc.)

so um. i am NOT buying this game. from the little i saw i can already tell how much of an out-of-character cash grab it is. also, pricefield broke up. i am SO done with this shit. they really should’ve left Max and Chloe’s story (because it’s THEIR story dude this whole thing is so dumb) alone. this is not respecting both endings. r.i.p. Alright. I really didn't want to make this post, but it's one week before the next Trigun "deluxe edition" drops (Oct. 8th), and Dark Horse hasn't addressed the plethora of printing and text issues despite the very loud response on social media and the reviews on storefronts. If you don't want them to keep making cheap cash grabs and want a quality release, consider canceling your order.

I know all of us who missed the first print run are desperate for this manga--me too! Of course you don't have to listen to me, I'm some just guy on the internet. It's just, to me, the corporate greed of this is upsetting. The basic ask is that they do a quality check and proofread. That's it. They already knew the peeling gold on most copies was an issue, and they had the rights to change the text to add ellipses and sfx/translation notes.

Regardless of any discount, it's $50 MSRP for this, and I just feel like Nightow and his work deserve better. I don't know if we'll ever get that with Dark Horse, but I would hate myself if I didn't try.

Packages are a bit late to go out because someone stole my debit card a few days ago and things that ran out require a card 😭 that's why there's no shop update today too. The person is still shamelessly trying to use it on everything they can but thankfully I got my money back and it's cancelled. They also stole my brand new arcade card, the only thing I really allow myself to enjoy without worrying.. I hope they win nothing

I'm expecting things to go out normally by next week!! But I'm working on packing what I can so they'll go out immediately after that.

people are quick to jump on a lower class person for saving enough money for a high-end computer rather than a rich-ass mf who regularly buys apple products and breaks them in a span of months just to buy another one

Do I think the stable customization options are a little high? Sure. I think they should overall come down about 20% or at least make sure none are above 90sc.

But also at the end of the day colorful stables won't change your gameplay. Its not pivitol to the storyline. I can honestly say I visit my stable for maybe 5 mins anytime i login, and sometimes not at all! And I doubt that will change by me changing the colors of it.

They gotta pay their employees and there are options to get it with shillings. No one is putting a gun to your head and making you buy star coins. They're giving options for it to be fully at no cost to you.

It's always easy to want to buy something *right now* because it's new, but that's on the individual. This isn't timed. It's not going anywhere. You can save up.
