first attempt at putting a patch in some of my partner’s busted pants (too much ass to be contained 🫡). kept it all black and simple but i think i’ll definitely experiment with more colors and exciting visible mending when i’m fixing up things from my own wardrobe

Now that I can knit and crochet, I can make anything

Some adorable baby and toddler knits for my cousin and her two little ones.

I’ve knit the onesie before, but this is my first time knitting a sweater yoke down. I’m so proud of how it turned out! There were a few issues with the pattern that I was able to spot and I made a few mistakes that I had to figure out on the fly. Other than that though, it was a great first attempt!

It’s so nice to have interchangeable needles and cables for this kind of project and I felt so official with the sleeve stitches on capped cables while I knit the body :)

Watching my kids reach milestones warms my heart. Parents express how sad they are to witness their kids’ firsts and lasts, but it blows my mind and fills me with excitement.

I just learned that you can THINK in 2D. Like visually. I tried thinking in terms of a cartoon and was vaguely able to do that? this must totally be what artists do

Tim is like me. We both learn very niche, very cool skills that we'll hardly ever use but they come in handy in this *one* specific scenario

I keep thinking about those poison chocolates Tim gave lady shiva, did he buy them like that or was he like tempering that shit? Do we need to add chocolatiering to his list of skills?
