is it considered “new” art if I just repost the gideon update that no one liked the first time

Me explaining in terms of strictly how I read canon I think Nahida not severely punishing the Sages is just meant to convey that Nahida, even when wronged, is not a very vengeful or harsh person and makes the choice to be kind instead, but in my mind I have this idea of a Nahida interpretation which elaborates on that where her self punishing tendencies extend to her being someone who internally downplays her own experiences constantly, and as a result has a hard time feeling she’s allowed or justified in placing a lot of blame on the Sages for what they did to her So while she is following her own philosophies regarding teaching lessons/wisdom/etc in how to handle the Sages and genuinely doesn’t want to be really angry or punishing because of who she is as a person, her decision is also influenced by the fact she’s basically blocked herself out of grappling with how to handle people who hurt her by blaming herself for said hurt instead as a coping mechanism. And like this is all just me being insane about Nahida Trauma and not something explicitly implied in canon but also I really do think this isn’t a far stretch from her canon characterization especially when my vision isn’t to conclude that Nahida needs to be angry and vengeful but she should extend the kindness she shows others to herself and also every day I get tormented thinking about she was the mental equivalent of an average human child when the Sages found her and how they basically specifically discarded her for being a child and the idea of how Nahida would pick up on + internalize that and eventually need time to unlearn it

Don’t know if you ever talked about them sorry if you did answer but how are the egg family like qubot ,orbot, sage, and belle? Are you still figuring out how to fit them in to the story? If you are good luck.
Cubot, Orbot and Sage are a part of the au yes!!!!!
Cubot n Orbot still act as Ivo's assistants. they mostly work on the statistical side of things n help him get info on band matters as well as for his business!!
SAGE! still Ivo's daughter (not an ai this time though!). she's not mentioned or seen much in the story (if at all) but i do have a stupid scenario in mind for a Robotnik family dinner and Maria is desperately trying to explain (insert game) lore to this 12 year old whose only interest in the game is how to exploit bugs and speedrun it effectively
needless to say it was quite a shock for Sonic and Silver when they found out Ivo has a daughter!!

brigette may be the most innocent character in lps popular. she fr hasn't done anything wrong but savannah just hates her 😭 like even after sage told savvy that brigette has a whole boyfriend back in france. like okay, you're jealous a pretty girl is living with your boyfriend, understandable. but now i'm thinking about how in episode 22 brooke said "sage has a tendency to wander a bit :)" (not a direct quote) and i'm over here like??? MAYBE SHE'S NOT WRONG 😭

had another thought (oh dear) about sage abilities, specifically koga
i think the yiga teleport while cool, could lead to alot of problems with puzzles and render other things useless; so i thought, what if he gives you the ability to summon a bunch of koga clones? its like what miz kyoshia does so it serves as yet another connection to the ancient shiekah ways and the yiga, its something unique to koga (he does it in his bossfight in the rewrite), still kinda fits the shadow theme and, most importantly, fills the role of the sages in canon totk
in my rewrite you dont have them glitching all around you at all times but summon their ability through the wheel selection thingy and aim it directly (no more chasing after sages and no annoying woop sage got knocked over while charging and you gotta start it again LOOKING AT YOU RIJU) and while you have zelda as a permanent companion and in the sage dungeon the according sage, thats still only two, so the clones would be useful as a distraction for enemies and serve as extra combat support for however long they last
it would also be a bit more spectacular which fits koga well imo
(still unsure about what to do about the spirit sage but im gonna draw a test ability wheel and sort out the other stuff and see whats doable; i really wanna give zelda the light laser too bc hell yeah go girl do some DAMAGE)

feels like people always want to talk about maria and shadow being siblings but never want to fully acknowledge the implications of shadow being a robotnik and what that could mean for his relationships with certain characters. same with people treating eggmans creations like his children. eggman metal sonic sage and belle are all shadow and marias cousins open your eyes people

i think when talking about Shigure, it's important to note that he was constantly operating under the assumption that the curse would eventually break on its own. he saw Kureno's curse break with no outside interference, and he's spent enough time with Akito to know that her hold on the curse is greatly weakened. in Shigure's mind, the curse was on its way out: it could break in twenty years, or ten, or maybe even as little as five. his efforts are just a way to speed up the process so he can be with Akito quicker (and to save the other zodiac members but that's not really his big priority). so while he 100% took the most selfish route by catering to his own plans instead of helping the other zodiacs survive the curse, his personal justification was likely "it will eventually break anyway so all of the zodiacs will be freed regardless of my interference" instead of just "i don't care about the other zodiacs so they can go ahead and rot."
