I made a post a month ago about how I wish Bioware had put Spectre Kaidan in the Spectre Office in ME3 to have chats with Shepard or comment on Shepard's decisions at the Intel terminal so I finally decided to write a little something about that ft making out as well bc I also wish we had casual kisses in ME3

People who get caught up in the fact that yes Kaidan does outrank Shepard in 3 are so annoying. Like they try to find these loopholes because their fucking ego is bruised instead of looking at Kaidan and Shepard as what they’ve always been: equals

I did it, folks, somehow I managed to dodge ME1's super pushy romances on my mShenko slow-burn playthrough (by stopping talking to Ashley and Liara which is not what I wanted to do but I couldn't see another way). And even with that, the comic at ME2's start still insists that my mShep was interested in both but didn't act on it only bc of the mission... nah he's just into Kaidan, try again

Never in the whole trilogy was there a mission that was basically calling a squadmate's name bc they'd be perfect for it for lore reasons, and yet the game did not allow them to go, as much as Grissom Academy and Kaidan. And I just don't see any good reason for that decision, narrative or technical.

Sole Survivor Shepard is having such a bad time in literally every game:

ME1: The very first planet I decided to explore with the Mako had a surprise thresher maw encounter, and it's not the only one in the game

ME2: Shepard has to work with the very organization responsible for the Akuze massacre AND has to fight a thresher maw on foot during Grunt's mission

ME3: Shepard has to go underground where the MOTHER OF ALL THRESHER MAWS and the biggest one yet seen is said to live and then lure it into the open to fight a reaper

I wish in ME3 Bioware had done something more with SPECTRE Kaidan, especially a romanced!Kaidan, like put him in the Spectres office to have a brief chat with Shepard or comment on Shepard's decisions at the intel terminal, have a Spectres only mission with just him and Shepard, let the first two human spectres make out in the Spectres office-

I just learned that if Wrex is dead it's Vega that comes to the rescue in the Citadel DLC so on at least one playthrough I'd get Wrex killed so Vega can thirdwheel Shenko in even more scenes lmao

I'm so tempted to give my Crow!Rook the most character development by making him compare the cosplaying the Crows are doing at freedom fighting with the freedom fighting of an organization that actually has a revolutionary, for-the-people, and not self-servicing purpose at its heart (the Shadow Dragons) and slowly realize that the Crows are part of Treviso's problem and they're fighting the Antaam so hard bc they encroached on their territory and power first and foremost. And that he got brainwashed to some degree from childhood to buy into the whole murder for hire having a code of honour and whatnot narrative, bc at the end of the day, you can dress it like you want but the core is just murder for hire, and having an assassin organization with no moral code that is above everyone is a terrible thing actually.

Considering how much bioware loved adding sofas in bedrooms in ME2, Rook's bedroom in DATV underwent the nlogical ext step where the bed was completely removed and the sofa became the central piece lmao

By using the flycam in the inventory screen, you can see that Rook and companions are rendered on different parts of the UI's "void" background.
