CLOSING DOWN THE BLOG!!!!

Hey guys, Vivie here or Mothy as I am now preferably going by.

I am just letting you all know who were supporting this Blog that I am going to be closing this Blog down by the end of the year. I no longer have the motivation to keep trying to work on this Blog, the Carrd for the Blog, or even the Discord Server for it.

A lot has happened over the past couple of months, including being busy with work and other IRL stuff. I am also currently seeking therapy due to some stuff that has resurfaced and has taken a really bad toll on my mental health, causing me to feel less motivated. I also have another project I am working on but there will not be a Tumblr Blog for it and this will be a more secretive project instead.

Anyways I am sorry that I am closing this on such short notice but to give people time to see this post and understand, I will be leaving it up until December 31st, closing and deleting the blog or potentially abandoning it at exactly 11:59PM PST.

Thank you for those that did support the project when I was trying to work on it and I am so sorry to let everyone down with what has been happening, if I decide to wanna try again it may go under a different name, other than that.....thank you once again.

Update!!!

Hey everyone, Vivie here!

Just letting you know I did not abandon the project! I am just really busy dealing with work and I have not had the time to work more on this Tumblr blog, the Carrd, and also the Discord server.

As of recently I have come down with a lot of stress after getting back from Vegas for work training. Sadly I had three panic attacks over the course of two to three weeks. Work currently has me on light duty until I get some stuff sorted out and what not.

I am also moving back into my original room from when I first moved into the house I currently live in. I am getting a new desk to put in the room which should be arriving tomorrow, I have a new laptop, and I need to get my Wacom tablet all set up again with this new laptop. I have also downloaded all my programs I will ever need (including having to buy Clip Studio again)

Anyways I will continue this project once I have time again or when I have a breather. Hope you all are doing well and didn't think I abandoned the project or anything.

POSTING IS GOING TO BE SLOWER THAN USUAL!!!!

Hey everyone! I just wanna let you all know that I am going to be posting not nearly as much as I was hoping to post especially to work on this project!

The reason why is because I am going to be starting my new job really soon, I will be starting this Sunday. Given the kind of job it is, my shifts will be very long so after my shifts I may not have time to actually post anything or be active or will be too tired to wanna post much.

So posting will be a lot slower than usual but I promise during when I have time I will still be working on this blog, the Discord Server for this blog, and the Carrd this blog was made for!

I still encourage submitting some advice and tips that can be added to the Carrd so that way when I get around to it I have some stuff I can definitely add! You are also still welcome to ask me anything under my Ask tab!

Anyways I will update more on if I get anything else done!

Discord Server in Progress!!!

Hey everyone just giving a brief update that I am already getting to work on the Discord Server!

I have already created it and added the respective profile icon for it, now to get started on adding categories and channels and respective BOTs to get it up and going!

Will update as I go along on the progress being made for the Server!

Decision Made!!!

So a little while ago I made a post debating on if I wanted to create a Discord Server to perhaps give a space to small and new artists to be able to share their works or even look to some advice or even exchange some advice and tips to one another. I have decided officially that I will be creating a Discord Server and link it here for anyone to join!

This will be a massive project though so please keep that in mind!

I look forward to being able to help small and new artists alongside plenty of other artists!

Debating on Creating a Discord Server For This Blog

I have been thinking for some time on if I should create a Discord Server to allow people to easily exchange advice and tips to one another and provide a space for all new and small artists to be able to share their artwork around.

Big artists will be just as welcome as new and small artists too! But I wanted to further do more for this since it is a major project and I want to be able to put in a lot more work for it before I start my new job next month in which I may or may not have much time to be able to work on the Carrd and write much for the blog.

So if you think I should make a Discord Server dedicated to the Carrd and this blog, please feel free to let me know your thoughts! I want to be able to do more to help new and small artists!

INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Vivie's Art Advice and Tips Blog!

This blog is dedicated to helping any new and small artists! If you are an artist who is new to the world of art and wants to find a way to make it big or is even a small artist whom is struggling to try and make it big, this blog is just for you to help you understand what some good advice and tips may be!

This blog is not just meant to cater to primarily Digital Artists but also Traditional Artists too! Advice can be for just about any art medium possible!

This blog however will not at all accept help in regards to Generative AI or anything related to Generative AI as Generative AI is harmful and has been towards plenty of real artists, anything regarding Generative AI will be ignored as well as warrant a block from being able to view this blog

Remember: any advice and tips is appreciated so long as it is deemed helpful! You are free to submit advice and tips to the blog that can be freely posted here as a way to help new and small artists. Advice and tips from big artists is also very much appreciated too!

This blog is dedicated to a Carrd that is under the works and will be linked here once it is finished! The Carrd will contain all the information listed and will be updated with each new piece of advice that has been submitted! You are also welcome to ask questions that can also be added to the Carrd's Q&A section!

Please remember that this is all under maintenance and will be subjected to change on occasion! So do look out for any changes to the blog and Carrd!
