She gets startled by the sudden talking having not expected to have anyone near her. She shuts her heavy book and sits upright, her soft crimson eyes subtly visible under her hood. She had a small sharp upturned nose and sharp canine teeth, that stuck out of her mouth as she spoke. “O-Oh-! Um! Uh.. good evening..! I’m collecting leaves for later.. I don’t like parties and I can’t handle loud music or noises.. or people in general.” She Tilts her head curiously “…um, What are you doing out here mister..?”

Gravesfield was lit up in a rare mood, people were at a harvest festival. The crisp fall breeze bringing about leaves everywhere and the night was just right. Just a little chilly not by much, and it was a very clear night you could see the stars out easily. Tho by puritan tradition excessive drinking or doing too many reckless or "sinful" deeds were considered very bad they were granted special days like this to at least moderately let loose , dance, sing, drink, play music, party time, but Philip was never into any of that and just rather stay outside of where the band was playing, people were dancing and singing, and having a fun time, he instead was reading a book on something, and doing a bit of writing, Caleb kept trying to invite him into the party but sadly Pip kept refusing, Caleb decided Philip is better like this and went back to the party, Philip being alone on a log outside the festivities, when suddenly he noticed a woman was also out here for some reason, in the night air with only the moon and stars out, he tried to ignore her presence for now tho, his book and writing practice was important to him , it would help in his future endeavors and to help him make money he thought. And that's important to him right now

She was sitting on the soft grass and had a small oil lamp next to her, softly eliminating the ground before her. He could not see her face, her short curly dark chestnut brown hair covering her face from her cloak hood. She was was quietly sorting autumn leaves and flowers into a large heavy book, colour coding each leaf on each page. Her hands were pale, almost sickly, he caught a glimpse of her right forearm, a large healed scar on her forearm. The nails on her right thumb, index and middle finger were short and broken, presumably from always painting and writing. Her dress was a soft cherry red, an uncommon colour of clothing In Gravesfield unless someone was of higher status. She was softly swaying side to side to the rhythm of the music in the distance. She’s not paying any attention to her surroundings, but her loner behaviour was a rather suspicious for a woman In Gravesfield.

Let me clear the air for a moment:

Yes, I'm staying on Tumblr for the time being, at least. If you missed what happened, I stepped in between my friend @snowy-wife and some people who were harassing her. They then proceeded to rip me a new one.

Loki, since he's my protector, and because he hates people who go on witch-hunts and blame others for things that they didn't do, decided to fuck with them. Unfortunately, in doing so, he crossed a line, and it ended up hurting an innocent person who wasn't involved in it. I'm currently trying to repair the damage.

He's now said everything that he felt needed to be said. No, the @world-breakers-mouthpiece blog isn't an RP. His hugr (astral body) took control of my old blog, so once I archived it, I made him a new one. I hear his voice, and sometimes he takes my hands over. Don't ask me where or how he learned how to use technology. He's a quick study, anyway.

The next thing he's asking me to do is a livestream, either on TikTok or YouTube. I have no idea how, but I guess I'm going to have to figure it out.

For now, I'm steering clear of (most) social media.

Dead Dove; Do NOT Eat — As much as I love writing goody-two-shoes characters, sometimes I simply want to write someone morally grey, or perhaps even a bit psychotic… Those who are familiar with dead dove know that it includes mature and sensitive topics, such as non-con, NSFW aside! That being said, I will never abuse this right and all topics are sure to be discussed with my RP partner before hand.ᐟ.ᐟ

Gender Preference: I often find myself writing male leads as opposed to female, but this is solely because I am having to compensate and or carry a plot by myself majority of the time. With male characters, I simply find arrogance easier to strike up interactions with, however I would love to actually be able to play a female character; it depends heavily on the plot. I’m predominately MxF, but with side characters I am open to MxM and FxF, (romance awakening/forbidden love subset mainly.)

NSFW: I am not strict on many of my rules but substituting plot for smut is not tolerated. I am willing to write it but in order for any sort of NSFW, things need to progress naturally. I would prefer a partner who prioritizes world building and plot planning first and foremost.

Requirements: As I am not daily active on discord, I am looking for a lax but serious role-play partner who is literate novella minimum. I frequently exceed the discord message limit, sometimes even four times over. However, this is not a standard for myself; I simply tend to write a lot when I am invested in a story. By no means do you have to match this; I simply ask that you give me something to work with and I will do the same in return. Trust me, I’m not always in the mood to meet a word criteria, I wouldn’t expect you to be either! I need a long-term partner who is willing and understanding of schedules and writers-block. Hey there! Looking to do MxF or MxM rp using an OC that I’ve recently made! 🕊️ themes will probably be included, as my character isn’t exactly a great person. He’s not purely evil but he is rather selfish most of the time and isn’t afraid of hurting other people if he feels threatened or if they have something he wants! My OC is basically a very powerful witch of the sea and takes the form of a male siren that can also turn more humanoid on land but never looses his distinct features (clawed hands, sharp teeth, special eyes, etc). He currently lives in a lair that’s made from an old temple, the entrance to which is underwater but the inside of it is mostly open air. Since he has so much to do with the sea, I would love for this rp to have some sort of pirate, historical vibes. Give me a pirate captain who’s being hunted down by my OC because they have a treasure he wants, having to resist the call of a siren into the sea. Or maybe your character is royalty whose ship crashes during a storm and they wake up in an old waterlogged temple. I’m down for pretty much any plot as long as I get to use my guy! AITA for sacrificing someone to an elder god? [RP character]

This title is… sort of misleading, I realise. I know I’m the asshole. I am not a good person. I would just… like some external input regarding all that has happened.

For clarity’s sake, I will also note that some time ago, I made another post on this forum, asking for your judgement on the morality of my having ran away from home. If you have seen me here before, that is why.

I will not spend much time reestablishing myself. My gender and age are difficult to discuss in the terms you are familiar with, but you may think of me as [30M] for simplicity’s sake.

For quite a large stretch of time, I have been fighting the influence of several entities laying claim upon my psyche. Most notable in this case are two: one which I will call “E”, and one which I will call “A”. For some time, E has been manipulating me, attempting in various ways to control, harm, and kill me. It is only with the assistance of two (former) friends that I have managed to remain largely unharmed.

I will refer to these friends as “R” [≈40M] and “C” [≈20sF]. I have no doubt that they will recognise themselves if they see this post, but I do not wish to reveal their identity to anyone else.

Over time, I managed to establish a life for myself, although the influence of E was still a looming threat. I wish to establish that life was good. Life was wonderful in the most mundane ways. It was fleeting. It was so horribly fleeting.

I’m sorry.

But I digress. I found an arcane text left outside my door one day. If you are familiar with my previous post, you will know I have referred to curiosity as my sharpest weakness, and I am afraid you will not be surprised by the following actions I took.

The book was not written in a script I could understand. I had, at the time, attributed this to its authorship. However, it is now apparent to me that this was A’s work, in an attempt to manipulate me: to lure me to her with something I could not understand.

I spoke to another god [one of the few beings not out for my head, and one whose jurisdiction was meant to contain knowledge and language] about the book, believing they would provide answers. However, they told me the book was truly within the domain of A.

I found a way to contact A, although it was difficult. When she spoke to me, she told me the book held vast power: the power to bring someone back from the dead, and told me she would grant me knowledge of that ensconced within.

The knowledge and power she would grant would, maybe, be enough to help me fight against E, though she refused to directly intervene.

On one condition.

There’s always a catch. Nothing comes for free. Nothing good lasts.

I’m sure, based on the title of this post, you can see where this is going. She asked me to kill a servant of hers: a witch. A girl.

I should stress that I was told the girl would live. That, after her ritualistic death, she would return with greater power. Afterwards, my sole responsibility was to bring her to meet with A.

Nothing else.

I’m sorry. It’s not a justification.

I hunted her down. With the help oEntirely on my own, acting as an independent agent, I came into possession of a substance which would simulate non-existence, blinding, immobilising, and rendering invisible those dosed with it.

I used this substance on her, in an attempt to make it as painless as possible, and to prevent her from seeing my face. To clear my conscience? To make it as quick as possible? I drove my blade into her like a lamb upon the sacrificial altar.

I felt sick. I felt so, so sick.

A familiar pull in my head brought me to where she had re-emerged. I guided her gently to A, where her hands took her into the darkness in-between.

I didn’t know she’d be gone for good. I swear. I swear. I was a fool. I don’t know if it would have changed anything, had I known, but I swear I didn’t know.

I came back.

R knew, of course. C didn’t. She trusted me. She still cared about me. I told her and she still cared. Didn’t mind. Thought I had been misled. I can’t bear to look her in her eyes.

I can’t die now.

If I try, I’ll be brought back in another form: such is the burden of a witch.

I suppose my question isn’t really if I’m in the wrong here. I know I am. I’ve established that well.

I just want to know if I can fix this. I want to know if it’s possible for me to be a good person. I want to know if I can do anything right with my life, or if I should keep hunting for a way to tear this immortality out of my soul and rid the world of me for good.

If any of you- the people I called friends, once- are reading this, I’m sorry. I know it doesn’t mean a thing after what I’ve done, but I am.

BEST EXPERIENCE : honestly sobbing my eyes and soul out because of interactions or potential scenarios that I discuss with friends. I crave that sweet, sweet pain. It's at times like those that I really go, 'wow, all this that we create... Art, really. This is what makes life worth living'. It is honestly one of the best feelings for a writer to feel.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : I don't think I have many...? Mostly because I am pretty chill with stuff. I guess I will mention the usual god-modding stuff or forcing headcanons onto my character, though it rarely happens.

If I have to give a more specific answer, though...? Hm. This might sound controversial, but it is heartbreaking to see that people do not distinguish fiction from reality anymore. Especially when that translates into attacking//bashing//starting fandom witch hunts, only because someone likes certain contents or ships you don't like or find "immoral".

I have been roleplaying for many years and I have always thrived in fandoms whose contents or nature could be easily seen as controversial ( if you know Diabolik Lovers, I'm blowing you a little kiss ), so it's rather weird to see people so sensitive these days. Not that you have to enjoy x or y, but if you don't, then simply curate your own space and go on with your day. You don't have to attack others or make them feel inferior for enjoying something you don't. I've seen firsthand, multiple times, people who stopped writing, drawing or just creating in general because they were attacked for it. Not cool.

TLDR; Just let people enjoy what they want and write what they want. I don't need to be more direct than this to get my point across. Learn to differentiate a person's interests from their true nature. If you're not capable of doing that, then... Well. We're probably not meant to be.

MUSE PREFERENCES: For settings, I prefer writing angst! Fluff! And surprisingly domestic, day-to-day stuff. But when it comes to muses, I tend to lean toward complex, multifaceted ones. Usually ones that choose to present themselves in a certain way and carry out a performance of sorts, that may not truly represent their deepest inner musings, thought patterns, or genuine feelings.

PLOTS OR MEMES : I tend to lean toward memes because I'm not very good at plotting + Kaeya has a mind of his own. I'm just here to type, he leads fdghjhr

Experience:

Hah, I'm fairly new to the whole thing? / kind of. I only started RPing again probably around 20-21ish with a couple close friends. The bulk of my RP experience has been with one lovely person, and I only recently started exploring tumblr RP at the beginning of 2024 when our fandom and writing interests diverged. Vox is really the first RP blog that's "gotten off the ground" so to speak.

Preferred Roleplay Type:

It depends, I suppose! Obviously a lot of what I've done is multi-para bordering on novella. I don't mind short form / one-liners / dialogue-only in theory, but in practice I find myself getting anxious trying to ensure my partner has something to respond to in that space. The only thing I feel like I don't really do is in-character tumblr blogs (think ask blogs, etc). I usually feel too limited by making tumblr itself part of the RP experience.

Pet Peeves & Dealbreakers:

- I'm a bit of a grammar snob, sorry. I don't mind mistakes here and there, but consistently missing punctuation actually effects my internal reading voice and changes the tone I get from someone's writing. That can be tiring to parse and it's not something I can easily ignore, so I tend to avoid following back. - I try not to touch on this much, but I usually don't follow back anyone who is anti-anything. This is done on a per-person basis, but the fact is that kind of language makes me exceptionally nervous about witch hunts and the like. I am very proship, in the sense that no matter what you write, I don't think it's my place to cast judgment, even if it makes me uncomfortable. If you write a lot of a topic I don't like, I simply won't interact. - people who write a lot of pregnancy plots??? Lol. Sorry, I'm just super not about having that on my dash. - you're on thin ice if I feel like you're looking for Vox to be a punching bag or to match fanon interpretations of him (read: pathetic simp for alastor at all times). I'm not asking your muse to be nice to him or even respect him, necessarily! Just know that I write him with a bit of Main Character Syndrome, and it makes me sad if he's just written off. :( something something exploration of themes of self-objectification in the most literal way possible - reposting my writing elsewhere without my consent? bro. that's weird.

Best time to write:

Uhhh, when I have the muse lol. Sometimes that's in the evening, sometimes in the morning, sometimes while I'm bored at work. Honestly the writing usually flows easiest right after I read someone's reply, but that doesn't always line up with me actually having the time to, nor is it always a good idea for me to go with my gut instincts.

Probably? I mean, I'm not a CEO of anything, and I like to think I don't value profit over most everything else and wouldn't drop my friends the moment they stop being useful to me. But on the other hand, he deals with a lot of insecurities I'm familiar with, just magnified—both because they're topics I have experience with and also because that makes them engaging to me. I don't think I'd be that interested in writing him if I couldn't at least project onto him a little bit.
