"Well that's cause we're crazy. You know, Gold actually told us we were the only team that managed any kind of success without getting killed?" They laughed a little, the avatar shaking their head while the physical body laughed. A slight twinge of embarrassment showed on the avatar's face as they tweaked a setting or two internally. "Sorry bout that, hate that creepy fuckin glitch. As I was saying, we only got crazier." The avatar went still for a moment as the physical body checked their map, turning a corner. The avatar unpaused then and continued. "So, we knew they were FAI now, but did that stop us? No. After all they weren't asking much of us that we weren't willing to do. A chance for someone else to fund us while we took out Militech was all Fais needed to hear to be in, Pride doesn't care about much of anything other than the pay, and well...I *needed* access to the Blackwall again. It's like it's calling me back, I can hear it almost constantly. At the time I thought I could live with starting the next Corpo War for a chance to get the screaming to stop." They brought up a video file scraped from BD footage they had managed to get while diving the Blackwall. It was like watching really bad security camera footage, mostly a storm of noise; but as they approached the file they were sent to retrieve the distorted sound of voices speaking in unison screaming for help could just barely be heard. It grew louder when they took the file, and a cloud of violent pixels burst from the node; coalescing into a silhouette similar to Conan's but with hollow spots, only some of which were filled with that of another body entirely. It looked like it was trying to speak - to reach out - but it barely managed to get its metal hand around their wrist before it was scattered into pixels and consumed by the empty expanse. As the video file closed and the avatar returned into view, they shrugged. "So, I took the contract with NUSA to get this new body so that the next time I dive I won't come back unconscious, and I might be able to keep whatever that thing is solid long enough to hear it out. In return, I take orders from Gold until the mission is complete. In practice right now that means gathering allies for an eventual attack on Arasaka HQ. Kick off the war with a bang, or something like that." The avatar breathing out a heavy sigh as though it was somehow exhausted from speaking; it smiled apologetically. "That's about all of it. If you got any questions go ahead; otherwise I'll get out of your head and explain what all this has to do with the song outloud."

Well.. it was fun, a small taste of freedom. He does miss it sometimes, but it's been a long time since he was one. "I did." He replied, he used to dream about going back to being a runner- but by now Conan has become reliant on the sandevistan, switching over would put him in a loop for awhile and he can't afford to relearn everything. Humming as he looked over at the cyber decks offered to him, waving a hand at them as a "no thank you".

Conan watched as Biz worked, helping whenever they needed it. he's used to people looking away from him even knowing his troubles with hearing- so it doesn't bother him that much. He had moved to help them with the projector but then backed off with wide eyes when they managed to do it on their own, it's a little scary how strong the Rockerboy really is.. they'll easier be able to pick him up- he doesn't know what to do with that thought. while his own chrome made him stronger, he is likely not as strong as them because he didn't undergo full body conversion like they did. He decides to let them do it, since apparently they didn't need their help- following close behind as they walked.

He nodded at their question, a bit grateful that they asked instead of just doing it. Conan blinks at the sight of biz's avatar, after the hack was done loading. huh, he wasn't expecting that- well..he didn't know what he was expecting, but their words made him smile. He Listens as they speak, he has heard of the fire starters before- though hasn't run into them yet, since he hasn't really spent a lot of time in Pacifica. Jumping off a crane onto a moving Av? Fistfighting? A firebomb in a Napalm factory? He has done some Gonk shit himself but their team is on a whole 'nother level of it.

And apparently that got them into the afterlife, damn- he doesn't really know what to say to that. Conan stays quiet for a moment, processing everything. "That is.. something, to say the least" he finally says, breaking the silent pondering he had been doing. "Your team has done some crazy shit." He continued, they really did- hes a lot more careful, has to be.

At the moment I'm only comfortable writing as V(my personal version OR default V from the trailer) but I'll write him against a whole number of characters including pretty much any main or supporting character in Cyberpunk 2077/Phantom Liberty or any OC you've created for that universe. I usually play V pre any sort of ending for cyberpunk so he's still alive and kicking with Johnny yapping away in his head. I'll happily work something out with anyone wanting to write Johnny with me though! I'm open to doing anything post relic removal as well, any of the canon game endings or anything we make up ourselves. I'll write anything with love interests involved or not, he swings all different ways so he'll accept all genders. My version of V is trans but default V can go either way on that. I tend to lean more into m/m pairings but I'm truly open to all so don't be shy to ask!

Relic's of the Past

Bizz shouldn't be here, it was beyond unsafe even with all of their new tech and shielding. They knew smasher was still likely in there, they knew Netwatch might be watching. They just had to hope this dumb stunt worked, and if it didn't that Claire would remember their drink for the Afterlife. They were lucky they could remember how to get there, the deep net was tricky and beyond the wall was chaos; but this wasn't something you forgot.

The file they'd taken hadn't been replaced; but the portal hadn't been closed either. They really did just think Smasher was enough security didn't they? Thankfully the bastard's engram wasn't actually housed there right now. Did 'Saka only have one copy of him? Didn't fucking matter, Bizz needed to be quick if this was going to work.

Both Johnny and V - if V could hear right now - would have heard shocked, joyous laughter as a familiar avatar rezzed onto the level. "Didn't even change their passwords, the gonks." Yeah, it was probably a trap, but fuck it they'd come this far. Without acknowledging the shock on Johnny's face - the man took his shades off for Christ's sake - Bizz knelt down next to the data stream connecting V's avatar to the node in the center of the room. "God I hope this fuckin works." They'd jack into the same stream, open what looked like a cyberdeck from 2020 - Spider Murphy's deck - and start furiously typing. If it worked, soulkiller would be booted out of V's system at least temporarily.

Dove is a Raffen Shiv - Maybe ex-Raffen would be more apt. The gang’s Little Bird wandered off to find her niche in Night City. A light step and desperation to survive make for a preem smuggler, the added timid charm doesn't hurt for distracting customs agents. Not someone you'd want on your six in a firefight, but will be there to meticulously pull the needle and thread and generously pour synth tequila when you need patching up. Haunted by her time with the Wraiths, she'll lend an ear and give sage advice beyond her years. A gentle heart and surprisingly raspy voice grace your presence for a quick cig and a light.

I realized Dove is a companion OC more than she is a main character OC. So I decided to write her a lil flavor text blurb for my own official unofficial handbook.
