underneath those clothes Phillip is surprisingly buff as he had he had to stay in shape to stay physically strong during his time in the Boiling Isles to defend himself from beasts or fights he got into and over time gained a couple of scars on his harden body from those situations some old some new and some when he was fighting off his monster form in order to keep it control of it. Camila and the teens accidentally see this and ask about Phillip says that this from the dark nasty side of the Isles they never really saw/knew with a realization how dangerous another world could be when your on your own like Phillip was. when Camila lightly touches one Philip would tense up a bit as some where from very bad experiences from how the people of the boiling isles can be awful bullies to humans.

I can imagine Camila being sympathetic and slightly flustered before she quickly apologizes to Philip.

No, but seriously, think about being a human in the Boiling Isles and being captured almost immediately when witches, mainly hunters, identify what you are XD You're taken to the palace and when you try asking questions, all you're told is the Emperor likes "collecting humans." Not only does this weird you out but meeting the guy makes you go "oh fuck, what the hell did I get myself into?" before you're teleported away to your "new home" where you find several others of your kind. Most witches probably don't know you're there as it's a well-kept secret among hunters as Belos pays a ton for any humans they find, almost making it competitive.

Belos, of course, doesn't disclose that he's human for his own safety, and because of this, you and your cohorts are petty as hell since you view it as being held as a pet instead of an actual person.

Get a group of us together. See what happens. For him, it's like corralling cats on baby leashes. It would make him wonder what the hell happened in the human realm to make us like this XD Make him contemplate his life choices.
