hmmm. went back to look at isat-in-rk-colors post, and noticed something- they didnt have their hats :0 but it makes a bit more sense the more rk lore we get, so..

since hair color is so important in rose society, what do the roses think about hats or hair coverings? more specifically, those who wear one most or all of the time? is it just kinda.. unfathomable to want to obstruct others' view of your hair? i kinda assume so, and i also kinda assume that dragons do not have the same view on hats as roses due to all being Green. and ik we've seen lapis with her hood up a couple times but she's human and does not accurately reflect rose-society-typical standards, nor does she care XD

(ps; rk!siffrin is multicolored black and white possibly even pulling a jim and faking being only one at the start of the journey- probably black- but this is just my hc, which is so funny to me. do all of his stats just end up average since white and black roses are good at entirely separate things-)

If anyone (especially a Rose) tries covering their head or hiding their hair, it's seen as deeply suspicious. Most will ignore you on principle (as the Roses value secrecy and will do anything to make sure confidence isn't broken, even for strangers if the right signs are being broadcasted) but it will make everyone extremely uncomfortable if a Rose hides their hair with clothing. And shaving your hair completely is something INCREDIBLY taboo. Dragons don't care if you wear a hat or a hood. As long as you're not hiding your raw strength or on purposefully making yourself look weaker they won't give you a second glance. (Hahahaaaa let's just say RK!Siffrin doesn't use hairdye. Or didn't at first. *coughs in Bug* Siffrin's stat's are very average, but it's not a stable average >:3)

When I entered the Cave, Damian was already working furiously at the Batcomputer, analyzing the video where Danny appeared, a fleeting shadow caught against a window. There was uncertainty in the frame, but we knew it was enough to find him.

I suited up quickly, the familiar weight of the cowl settling over my face, my heart steadying as I did so. All the world faded away, save for my son’s fragile existence hanging in the balance and my singular focus: save Danny.

When the white van vanished from the screen, leaving nothing but question marks, we powered down the Batplane miles from the town. Each sharp breath echoed the growing weight of responsibility. We used our bikes to scout the area, adrenaline thrumming.

The cottage stood in sharp contrast to the looming castle registered under the mayor’s name. It begged investigation, hushed whispers felt like echoes of the past. Two buildings, two purposes—a question to unravel.

“Let’s check the cottage first,” I declared, and as we approached that weathered façade, my heart sank with the looming reality. The world shrunk to one singular thought: I was going to save my son. No more compartmentalizing; this was personal now.

I would find Danny. I had to. Before the darkness could claim him, I would wield my fears as a shield. I had only just found him; I wasn’t about to lose him again.

I can 100% see Ruby and Yang escalating to violence in that mirror man/twins combo, all too willing to beat the Rusted Knight out of their brother. The image of their childhood idol ruined by this callous monster, reminded of the darker versions of the fairytale where Alyx loathed his uncompromising view of morality. And all while they fight, Yang notices that she never really feels any of the hits they land on him, the pain dulled and numb, as if their auras don't recognize eachother.

That’s the thing, the hits WOULD land, she WOULD feel them. His Aura is the same, even if RK doesn’t think he’s Jaune Arc. It’s all a mental thing, there’s no magic or anything involved. They are the same person

Actually, it would feel like they hurt MORE, because the whole time Yang would be able to feel this nauseating self hatred covered up by an oil sheen of positivity. She’d be able to feel Jaune in mental/emotional agony under the mask of the Rusted Knight

Which makes it hurt even more when her twin says to her face that if he could’ve killed himself before they ever met to keep him from ruining her life, he would’ve done so without hesitating. Because she can FEEL that he’s not lying, he’s absolutely telling the truth

And Ruby, meanwhile, is going through her own identity crisis, so arriving in the Ever After and seeing her big brother so far down his own rabbit hole that he’s cheerfully telling them he’d kill himself again doesn’t do Ruby any favors

Jaune’s one of the strongest people she knows, and if HE took the easy way out and couldn’t continue being him, then why should she keep being Ruby Rose?

Then there’s the whole thing about them both being fans of the story as children. The Rusted Knight is a hero, he’s THE hero, brave and moral and unbending in the face of evil. So to find out that he’s Jaune, not just that, that he’s the last resort Jaune’s mind had after breaking so utterly?

He knows them, but he pities them for loving him. Feels sorry for THEM for being “tricked” into loving someone so deplorable. He hates himself so utterly that he killed himself and fled into this shell of a person

Jaune’s lucky he has a lot of Aura, because after that, the sisters can’t help what they do. Blake and Weiss have to pull them off of him, because “The Rusted Knight” doesn’t try to defend himself

He’s not Jaune Arc, he’s not that monster. But he’s still the person who killed their brother, so he just takes the hits.

He deserves them

how abt a family Ror story where their child(reader) is ai hoshino?

In case you don't know who ai hoshino is; she's a teen idol, actress, and model from the anime "Oshi No Ko" that lives in a life full of lies by pretending she loves her fans and belives that lies were a form of love and saw it as a way rk express her love to her fans. But she becomes pregnant and decides to go on a hiatus to save her reputation and gives birth to twins, and after giving birth she continues with her career and becomes more famous later on. But in the end, ai's/reader's lies catches up to her and leads to her death by one of her fans(which was a stalker that found out her secret kids) going to her home and killing reader with a knife.

This is just a short summary that I hope you understand since the anime goes much more deeper if you haven't seen it.

But I wanna see how the family like helps out the reader with her idol career and her twins, as well as how they go through the readers death if you wanna add that! :))

-It was trial and error on your part, learning how to be a good parent, luckily you had a lot of people on your side who offered you different strategies, viewpoints, and advice, and your family was impressed, you took to being a parent with ease, once you had a rhythm down.

-It was a year later, on your twins’ first birthday, you had worked hard making a beautiful birthday party for them, with help from your family who helped you and your babies celebrate when a knock came to the door.

-You went to answer it, thinking it was the caterer, as you had ordered a sandwich platter as there were so many people at the house and it would be easy to clean up.

-Before you was not the caterer, but a fan, one of your first fans that was not a part of your family, seeing you in an apron, your bright smile falling into one of confusion.

-You only saw the knife as it was coming towards you, your shriek of fear filling the house before your family ran to your aid, seeing your fan had stabbed you in the stomach, crying heavily like this was hurting him and not the other way around, “I can’t believe this is the reason you left! You became a mother?!”

-Leonidas showed no mercy, kicking the boy away from you hard as Odin quickly held you in his arms, his magic trying to slow the blood flow from the wound.

-Blood was coming from your mouth and tears from your eyes from the pain and fear as you heard your family yelling, calling paramedics and police, yelling at the boy who stabbed you, and your babies were crying. But everything sounded so far away and was slowly fading, your vision going dark.

-You were their light, snuffed out too soon, as you died in Odin’s arms, the wound too severe to do anything before paramedics arrived.

-Your family felt broken, in shock, seeing that you were gone, taken from them so cruelly.

-The fan was arrested and thanks to security cameras, he was put away for life, everyone knew his name for the one that killed you, and with it, everyone found out that you had been pregnant and had twins.

-Many fans tried to say they were the father, wanting fame, but you were the sole parent, and you had, just in case, prepared if anything ever happened to you, that your family would become the guardians of your babies and that your babies, once they were old enough to make their own decisions, could consent to a paternity test, but until then, the decision was left to your family who had no hesitation in giving these glory hounds the boot.

-Your fame skyrocketed more after your death, after everyone learned that you became a mother, and how you were killed by a fan who wanted you to be an idol once more.

-Your family kept your babies out of the limelight, and did their best to do the same, not wanting to expose them to the fame of being your children.

-Your family was guarded and protective of your babies, not wanting to risk losing them too, they wouldn’t allow it.

Little Nightmares hot takes

Someone on the LN subreddit asked for people's hot takes and I commented a bunch of spicy ones that I have, which I will copy and paste here (though the last one will have something added to it):

1- People who say that Mono is an uwu-softboi or portray him as such are awful and are doing him a disservice. Like, you can not look at his battle against the Thin Man and pretend that he's a pacifist, not to mention the other kills he made in-game. His fight against the Thin Man and moving the tower towards himself is his most badass moment and these rougher edges to him make him a much more interesting character. So by taking that away and acting like he wouldn't hurt a fly really doesn't do Mono's character and arc any favours, it just ruins it, so people have seriously got to stop thinking that he's a 'pwecious widdle angel' when he clearly isn't, especially when it hurts his character and story.

2- I'm pretty sure that people are expecting this one but the fandom needs to lay off Six, and way the fandom makes it so that Six must either be totally good or totally bad and is not allowed to be morally grey (in between) is so irritating. Just like with Mono, taking away Six's rough edges or smooth ones hurt her character and make her way less interesting. Also no surprise that I say this but the way that the anti-Six people treat her is so awful.

3- In addition to what I said about the golden child Mono stans in number 1, the way that the FNAF books treat Henry is very much like how the fandom treats Mono - only his suffering matters, screw everyone else. Or some go even stupider and treat all of the characters in LN except Six sort of in the same way that the FNAF books treat Henry, basically like "Six and her suffering? She should shut up and suck it up" or even going as far to say that she deserves her suffering. While just about all the other characters (Mono most especially) have their suffering dealt with a gentle hand.

4- I'm pretty sure this is ghost-pepper level spicy but it's so dumb that the fandom claims that Roger is nice. Like bruh, he literally has blood stains on his vest, chases kids, you can hear one that he catches whimpering as he takes them away, wraps them up to be taken to the kitchen, and there's a bloody guillotine in vicinity. Just because he doesn't kill Six or RK on-screen means he's nice? What?

5- They should've made a LN2 DLC where you play the game as Six and get to see her perspective of everything that happened, especially that scene. Make them step out of their Mono/Thin Man tunnel vision and focus on Six and her suffering too for a change instead of making Mono's overshadow everything.

6- Six being the Lady would be disappointing AF and lazy that they're recycling Mono's fate. I'd be better off if Six was the next Lady and not the same one encountered in LN1, but I still prefer a different way for her story to go (or maybe make my new depressing interpretation of her ending (where she's not the lady but is still stranded at sea with no innocence or humanity left, making everything she went through all be for nothing in the end) the actual ending for her).

Plus, you're telling me that the remaining staff on the Maw (The Twin Chefs) were like "Oh, this kid that we tried to murder earlier is our boss now" and Six is like "Oh, I'm not going to kill these guys who tried to add me to the menu earlier. Plus I'll hire an exact copy of the Janitor and get a replacement for the one and only mirror I was able to fight the Lady with since it broke and try to board it up in the same room that I found it in. Yeah, it tooootaaaally would prevent another me from being able to get it in the exact same way that I did".

Not only that but they also put a child in charge of dealing with other business-related stuff on the Maw like shipments of coal and vegetables (or maybe someone else did that)? So stupid.

7- Runaway Kid's name is not seven!

8- The ridiculous double standards of self defence. Why are Mono and Runaway Kid allowed to defend themselves from monsters trying to kill them but Six isn't?

Mono - Smashes a bunch of bullies, pulls the trigger on the gun to shoot the Hunter, beats some living hands to death, probably burns the Doctor alive, kills some viewers by electrocuting them to death or luring them off of a ledge, and probably broke every bone in Thin Man's body before Thanos Snapping him.

Fandom - Eh.

RK - Electrocutes the Granny to death and disintegrates the Shadow Kids with his torch.

Fandom - Whatever

Six- Helps Mono shoot the same Hunter that kidnapped her and locked her in his basement (and she didn't take the gun off the hooks, Mono did), kills one bully after being kidnapped, tortured and hung upside down by them for who knows how long (which will eventually kill you), cuts off Roger's arms with a door when she was cornered, eats a rat when there's no other food nearby, eats a Nome instead of a sausage that she knows is made of human flesh, eats the Lady when there's no other food anywhere, and kills some guests who are reaching over to try and eat her on her way out of the Maw.

Fandom - Monster.

Now, I'm not saying that what Six did was good or what the boys did was evil, but people have to stop acting like it's okay for one character to kill to save their own lives but not the other.

9- This stems more from a certain artist that I won't name to avoid people going to harass them, but on top of the self defence standards, people also have to stop with the double standards of bad things happening to a character due to another character's actions. What I mean with this is that while yes, Mono had no way of knowing that Thin Man was behind the door and getting Six kidnapped by him was a mistake, that does not, however, undo the fact that Six still got kidnapped or that her kidnapping is not that big a deal all because it was an accident on Mono's part. Especially when people won't give Six the same leniency when it comes to Mono becoming the Thin Man. Six had no way of knowing that Mono would survive the fall, let alone him being stuck in a room on a chair for decades and turning into the Thin Man, yet that is a big deal despite her not knowing but her kidnapping isn't because it's also an accident?

And lastly,

10- Another ghost-pepper level spicy but AUs where Six pulls Mono up yet all the suffering she has to go through before that is 100% the same as in-game makes her a way, waaaayyyy better person than Mono. This goes double for AUs where Six realises that he's the Thin Man (you know, her kidnapper and tormentor) but decides to pull him up anyway. Like, Mono as Thin Man decides to kidnap and torture an innocent version of Six, cursing her with the hunger and making the child Mono have to torture her to save her, but Six decides to pull him up despite all of the pain he put her through. Even more so when she realises that he is her kidnapper. That makes her a much better person that him. Though it also makes her kind of spineless. I'm not saying that she should drop him, but in-game the player can abuse Six in some ways (running when holding her hand, which makes her stumble, throwing stuff at her, bash her with weapons (even if they don't do anything to her) getting her to fall off of stuff (yes, she respawns or teleports, but still), blinding her with the torch) but not once does Six retaliate until Mono attacks the music box, making her a bit of a doormat TBH. Yet some people in the fandom portray Mono as the doormat instead, it's like the fandom goes out of its way to get Mono and Six as backwards as possible.

Additionally, fan content where Mono doesn't apologise for getting Six kidnapped in the first place, or torturing her during his fight against her monster self makes him a huge jerk. Like, this girl has to suffer because of his actions (unintentional, perhaps. But as I said, that doesn't make the pain Six suffered go away or not matter) and he doesn't even have the decency to at least say sorry for the hurt he caused her? It pleases me whenever there's fan content where he does apologise, because not being sorry for hurting Six makes him a huge jerk.
