When Carol woke up that day she felt good and that had something to do with the handsome man sleeping in front of her, they had been secretly dating for five months, she loved James, it was no secret and she was happy that he was finally going to introduce her as his girlfriend to his best friend:

Tony Stark, she had to admit she was nervous, she knew how much James loved Tony and she wanted to caused a good impression, but that was something she could worry later, she decided to sneak away to make them some breakfast, half an hour later she pour some coffee in both mugs and her bowl of sliced fruits and set in the table, then the plate of waffles Rhodes loved so much, next to it a jar of maple syrup.

It was almost seven in the morning when she heard the shower turning off, and soon Rhodes joined her in the kitchen. “Good morning handsome” said the blonde receiving a kiss from the man. “here.” she said giving his cup of coffee. “Sit down, made your favorite.” she sat next to her fruits and smile, it was they day off and she was gonna enjoy every second.

How rude would it be to laugh as Tony comes to the conclusion that he's learned another a hard lesson about life?

If she weren't Pepper Potts, executive assistant turned CEO extraordinaire whose schedule was bogged down with work and combating the latest enemy of Iron Man; than she would work on an extensive excel sheet with accompanying flow chart of all the life lessons that Tony Stark should have learned over the years along with when and what situation taught him that.

Her eyes scan over him, and it was situations like theses where she wished to have a hypothetical physical chart of all the life lessons that Tony had to learn and relearn over the year. If you would look at section C, column D, item 8; you would be reminded of the time that you....

A sigh exhales her lips as she considers what this would mean for the company this time; the repercussions did not seem immediate but a plan should be devised when this comes back to bite him in the ass. As most things do, no matter how trivial they may have seemed, they always come back to bite Tony in the ass and as Tony's more loyal employee; that meant that they would bite Pepper in the ass.

She still kind of wants to laugh, and it's not out of heartlessness toward Tony Stark. Her boss, her friend, her family. It's that sometime it would be easier to deal with everything if she could laugh at it. At least that's something she heard once. Laugh instead of cry.

It's not that she was mad at him, but she was disappointed with him. That's a feeling that gets old fast. ❝ You know you always have within your hands grasp to ⸺ to not lie; to not leave your family to clean up your mess, or to leave them, us, with what is left and find the answers, to... to reboot you again or... someone's taken it all and used it against you, and... ❞ Tightness to her voice.

There is the awareness that not every time that has been his fault and she's not not even meaning specifically when he's been dead brain, when he's been in a coma, or something or other. It was always that last part and she knows she isn't alone in this feeling. She knows he is careful now, that he's grown now; that he has a lot to lose and leave behind. That he's so much wiser, many mistakes but hopefully getting fewer in between.

A sigh, never mind the thought, ❝ Is this time the life lesson going to stick? ❞ One way or another, Pepper is sure that she'll be there for him the next time that his family is the ones cleaning up his mess, or helping him clean up his mess. Or rebooting his brain, reviving his body, or the next thing. ❝ You don't look hurt or dead, besides perhaps your pride? ❞

About me: Izzy, She/they, 23 I'm looking for people who can write 2-5 paragraphs using functional grammar. I'm not looking for perfect I just gotta know what you're saying. I only write in the third person and ask that you do the same when writing with me. Marvel (MCU and Comics): I’m open to OCxCC, CCxCC, ABO, and Poly in this one I love world-building and meshing MCU canon with comic Canon and our own idea’s as well. If we’re doing CCXCC I do have a preference of M/M pairings but I am open to some M/F and F/F and other paring combinations.

Harry Potter (Marauders Era after graduation only): I’m open OCxCC and CCXCC I adore world-building for this one and bending Canon to fit our liking. I do also prefer to have multiple characters and moving parts in these plots in the background.

Criminal Minds: I’m open OCxCC, CCXCC. ABO and Poly ship here as well. I like to have a nice blend of slice of life and other things with a little bit of casework. Basically the reverse to what the show gave us.

Supernatural: I’m just looking for OCxCC here uhmm it’s been a hot minute since I’ve roleplayed this fandom. I think I’ve seen up to season ten for sure? I am planning on finishing it soon. I think my OC would pair up nicely with Dean or Cas but I’m open to your suggestions as well.

Leia couldn’t believe she was actually going to this party at Stark tower. She was clad in a “little black dress” and heels with simple jewelry and her hair was actually down. Tony Stark was a man who she could never seem to escape. She had fought her feelings for the man for years because she couldn’t trust the playboy to actually mend his ways for a real relationship. They had met in school and sparks always flew between them but Leia always turned Tony away. She wasn’t sure if he had seen when she entered the party. He had actually held this one at Stark Tower. But, she went straight for the bar regardless to get a drink. She was sipping on her cosmopolitan when a handsome blonde with shiny blue eyes she knew to be Steve Rogers spoke to her.

“Hello,” he said in a kind voice.

“Captain Rogers,” she replied. “An honor and a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

He offered her his hand and she shook it. She took it and they smiled at each other as they shook hands.

“Please, call me Steve.”

“Leia.”

“Wonderful to meet you, Leia.”

“The same save, Steve.”

She took another sip of her drink thinking that Steve seemed like a very nice guy so perhaps she wouldn’t be regretting coming to this party after all.

//Oooohhhh this is an excellent question.... uhm okay, I think this is a bit hard for me because I've had Maria so long and some ships like I adore but I don't know if they'd work with other rpers (i.e not the originals). I'm also not massively open about canon characters I could ship her with because I don't want anyone to feel.... pressure so to speak. The questions come up though so let's put my fears aside and go for it. I've also not added any canon characters that I'm already writing.

I'm not going to specify Original Characters because honestly just throw them all at me. I've divided the canon characters up by fandom but then I've put general scenarios at the bottom!

// As it says in my rules, I currently have several highly active threads that are taking up a lot of my time and therefore, I'm not wanting to take on any new threads unless they are with Bucky, Sam, Sharon, or Tony as those are the kinds of new stories I'd like to explore here. All my existing threads with OCs and other characters that aren't Bucky, Sam, Sharon, or Tony I'm more than happy to continue. This is just new threads with new partners.

I do have two other RP accounts, on my Tony account for example, I'm not willing to take on any more OC threads, but I am wanting to write with people who play Rhodey, Bruce, Pepper, or Clint. On my Winterhawk one, I'm actually far more open to OCs because OCs fit a poly ship in a way that many canon characters wouldn't. (Though and I'm saying this because I have a strong feeling i know who sent me this, I still don't want to do crossovers).

And here's the thing, this isn't necessarily a hard or fast rule. I recently became mutuals with a person with an OC that is acting as the avengers therapist, I'd actually love to do some light writing that won't overwhelm me with that person because it seems fun and a hugely new take that isn't just a romance plot. So if you really have a plot idea and an oc that is unique then I might be open to it. Also if we already write together I'm way more willing to do something like write with your oc.

Now I wouldn't normally write a long ass essay to explain a rule that is clearly and concisely explained in my pinned post, but I've had a few people contact me and then butt hurt argue with me about it in DMs recently like that would endear me into writing with them. It won't. There's a lot of Steve's on this site, if you see one that has rules that indicate you're not the writing partner for them, keep looking.
