Beetle Rhind Craghoppers

Beetle Rhind joined Craghoppers to shoot their new collection over a seven-day trek in the United Kingdom. Beetle traveled to Northumberland County, where he photographed the scenic Hen Hole walking trail along the border between Scotland and England. Focusing on the gear in action, Beetle captured candid images of the hikers against a backdrop of waterfalls and dramatic rock formations throughout the journey.

Adam Birkan Personal Series: The Forgotten Season

This season of HBO’s The White Lotus took viewers to Thailand’s Koh Phangan, an island notorious for hosting its extravagant monthly Full Moon Party. But what happens when the thousands of foreign partygoers leave? 

In his series The Forgotten Season, Adam Birkan captured Koh Phangan during the quiet weeks between parties when you can hear the waves instead of the jet skis and the island's true landscape becomes visible. Adam documents the realities of daily life on this Thai island during what he deems the forgotten season.

Beetle Rhind shot the campaign for Craghoppers as they partnered up with the United Kingdom heritage and nature conservation charity National Trust. Beetle photographed the new collection on the coast and countryside of Britain’s protected lands, capturing the earthy tones and coastal hues reflected in the sustainable designs.

Adam Birkan Solo Exhibition: Sukhumvit

The Kathmandu Photo Gallery in Bangkok, Thailand is presenting Adam Birkan’s solo exhibition Sukhumvit. The installation, which will be Adam’s first solo exhibition in seven years, is on display from Friday, December 6 through February 1, 2025 with an opening reception being Saturday, December 7, at 6:30 p.m.

The body of work is from Adam’s book Sukhumvit: The Third Road and is a visual exploration of one of Thailand’s most iconic highways. Curated by Thai photographer and founder of CTypeMag, Akkara Naktamna, Adam’s fine art photography series captures the vibrant and often overlooked moments of daily life in the Sukhumvit area. Through his lens, Adam delves into the city’s complex power dynamics—its rich history, cultural contrasts, and the interplay between old and new. Each photograph contributes to a larger narrative of Bangkok’s evolving identity. Adam explains, “The section of the road explored in the book is the roughly 17-kilometer stretch within the boundaries of Bangkok. Within it, we find a breadth of life that can only be described as a microcosm of Thai society and, even more broadly, society as a whole.”  Explore Sukhumvit and the gallery exhibition online here.
