Vision looked up from the book he'd been reading. He had access to digital books but found that bonded more with a story emotionally if he could actually hold the physical book in his hands while he read it. For now, he closed it and set it aside. "Certainly, Nuala," he said, moving over to make room for her on the lounge sofa he'd been sitting on in the common area. "A sense of uneasiness, you said? In regards to what?" he asked with genuine curiosity and a desire to maybe help her if she was having a problem of some sort.

Vision was still in the process of developing a digestive system and could not yet process foods. If he ate them, they would simply get stuck inside him and have nowhere to go and no way of being properly broken down. It was a slow process, to rearrange his internal anatomy and set up the necessary physical and chemical pathways needed to process foods, but with the help of anatomy, biology, and chemistry textbooks and resources online, he was getting there, little by little. He was, however, able to develop it enough thus far to process most liquids. Tea was a favorite of his.

His olfactory taste senses had been a bit easier to develop, since fewer biological structures were involved. He smiled as Mantis began happily munching on the popcorn, able to smell its buttery aroma. "I like the scent of popcorn very much," he shared. "It is a very pleasing scent, I think.

"Oh," Vision said, blinking. "Then we really ought to watch this one, so that you and Star-Lord can discuss it together." Because Vision was learning that experiences in life were not only about personal enjoyment, but also about sharing them with others. It was about the connection, the shared experiences. Like the one he was attempting to have with Mantis right now. "Although... I fail to see how fuzzy, diminutive, endearing creatures would lend themselves to a horror film, but as you said, we shall see."

As he selected the little Gremlins icon, a new screen appeared with a larger picture of one of the titular gremlins. Vision frowned. "Oh dear. That creature is neither fuzzy nor endearing. I suppose we will have to find out what its story is..." He clicked again and the movie started. Soon they were plunged into the beginning of the movie, with Billy's father trying to buy Gizmo from the curio shop in Chinatown...

Mantis silently sat there, waiting for Vision to select a good spooky movie. He seemed to appreciate the suggestion, especially after Mantis told him they didn't have to leave the Avengers compound. They would watch the movie there; perhaps they would eventually be joined by Wanda and the others!

"Me too!" Mantis beamed when Vision told her he was excited. "This is my first horror movie as well, and I'd like it to be a pleasant experience," she said enthusiastically. Mantis and the Guardians would take Groot to the movies back when he was still a baby, but those had been adventure films. She shrugged slightly at Vision's musings. "I suppose there must be something enjoyable about them, considering how popular they are."

he is getting super tunnel vision obsessed on killing way more than he would normally- this is Mr. “I have a B plan for my B plan’s B plan” which he always did on the island. always the most overprepared. now in purgatory he’s been rushing in with barely a plan?? strange.

he is making purposeful choices to get more kills in situations where doing so wouldn’t be a good idea, and making himself out to be the prime enemy, to the detriment of himself and even to the detriment of his team. this has been causing ghosties to freak out.

q!bad insisting to q!pac today that he is going to continue going absolutely cutthroat merciless on everyone, even his closest friends. because the eggs will die if he doesn’t…

It’s been 5 days of me watching this happening, and it’s become sooo obvious that this is not normal behavior for the character. something is very wrong with him and it’s getting worse. cc!bad is doing a great job roleplaying a character who is actively losing their mind and becoming a murderous monster on a rampage.

The name’s Billiam Cipher, but you can just call me Bill! I’m just your average two-dimensional triangle living in Euclydia! Unlike my counterparts, I was happily never birthed with the ability to see into the third dimension! LUCKY ME I GUESS!! I get to live my days in peaceful ignorance! Vision turned the moment he heard a voice near to him. "I- Am I? Thank you," he said graciously, albeit awkwardly, taking it as a compliment, but then he stared innocently for a moment. "So are you," he blurted out before he could think better of it. She was absolutely beautiful, but beyond that, he could not identify her species, and that intrigued him. "N-not that I-... It was not my intention to be rude, I only meant that... I have never seen anyone who looked quite like you before."

Since she seemed interested, though, Vision sought to explain a little about what he was. "I am a synthezoid. A synthetic lifeform. I was created as I am now, instead of being naturally born of another and growing to adulthood." He smiled and cut himself off there, lest he begin to ramble. "May I ask what you are?" he asked with immense curiosity.
