Remus Lupin is the type of guy where people that don’t know him think he’s so cool. Like the tall guy covered in scars that smokes and reads old novels? Cool as hell.

Then people get closer to him and go ‘oh, this guy is a loser (affectionate)’. Like he’s got all his socks matched and they’ve all got funky patterns. He forgets people are talking to him cause he’s too busy reading. He trips over his own feet constantly and wears holes in the cuffs of his jumpers through fiddling with them. He was banned from bookmarks for multiple years cause he would damage them while reading through bending them without thinking. All his shirts have stains on from where he’s dropped food down himself when distracted. And then there’s Sirius. Knows him possibly the best out of everyone and is CONVINCED that he is the coolest person alive. He is not. Sirius is biased and also blinded by love.

I was thinking about Remus domming and how I don’t think it would come to him naturally, and then I thought. What if Sirius is a brat, but he hasn't been able to explore that with Remus because Remus is vanilla. But then he asks Remus anyway if he would be interested in trying, and Remus doesn't fully understand it but decides to give it a try because he knows it's something Sirius enjoys.

He truly did not understand what Sirius meant, so when Sirius starts acting bratty, talking back and stuff, Remus doesn't know what to do, and he gets so overwhelmed that he cries, and their hot bdsm session turns into Sirius consoling Remus and Remus apologising endlessly.

Remus wants to try again, so then Sirius guides him through it and eases him into it more gently, and Remus eventually finds the confidence to become a brat tamer

Canon books: Implying Sirius has feelings (Obsessed) for James, and VERY independent. Implied Sirius and Regulus hate each other. Walburga is a morally good mother. Lily had feelings for James first. Sirius is both hotter and taller than Remus and Regulus. James probably isn't very tall because he was Harry's height and shorter. Sirius is the hottest and tallest.

Marauders fandom: Sirius is obsessed with Remus, can't do anything without him. Sirius and Regulus are besties and have a good relationship. Walburga physically and mentally tortures Regulus and Sirius with The Cruciatus curse. James was obsessed, stalked, followed, harassed and couldn't live without Lily. Remus and Regulus are the hottest. Both taller than Sirius, and both hotter than Sirius.

Sirius to Remus: “short lives matter!”

James, trying to be supportive: “yeah! If short people didn’t exist we’d have no friends!”

Just saying,

James is the spoiled one in the relationship. He’s used to getting all he wants because Effie and Monty would indulge his every whim. He’s dramatic as shit, loud, confident, but so theatrical about it.

Regulus is the more quiet one (though not shy or insecure AT ALL. This man was meant to inherit an empire and associate (if not better) the most powerful wizards, be honest with yourself, he was be confident and stoic), and if he wanted something, he had to take it for himself seeing as his parents mostly focused on Sirius for 15 years. He’s independent.

To summarise: Regulus wears the pants in the relationship and James is just happy to be there and be pampered and be bought nice things. Regulus calls him ‘love’ and he’s gone. He wears Reg’s jumpers when he’s home alone. He’s pathetically whipped and would let Reg do anything to him. James cooks so well and makes Reg a different dish each week bc this man is used to house elf menus and that wont cut it. Regulus stands behind him, chin on his shoulder arms around his waist asking about ingredients, and James just about fucking dies—
