This chapter begins with the entire family reunited. Rei has serious burns on her face, Fuyumi has a few, Natsu got a haircut and Enji is all bandaged up.

They came to visit Toya...

The past was really complex, awful, hellish but Enji admitted to Toya: "So let's talk every day from now on. I know it took me too long, but I want to talk to you. You can hate me all you want. Say it all to me".

The rest of the family said they wanted to talk to Toya too... but the employee from the facility says they should stop for today, so as not to burden his heart too much.

The family started leaving but Shoto wanted to ask one and last thing...

hitoya’s participating in a free lawyer consultation service in ikebukuro which is where everyone winds up gathering lol. doppo is considering reporting his company for worker’s rights violations LOL, dice owes money and wants to hide next to hitoya lmao, rio was just training in the area, and rei came over for no other reason than to be a bother LOL

rei invites all of them to a hot springs getaway he just purchased and that’s when saburo shows up, complains that they’re wastes of human life for making so much noise in public being grown ass adults and is promptly kidnapped to go on the hot springs trip with them LOL

saburo threatens legal action for kidnapping a minor and hitoya says he can easily handle a lawsuit against him like that and hitoya pls 😭😭😭😭

after some very perilously off road driving on rio’s part lol, they arrive at their destination, and said destination has a lot of board games since the previous owner played them as a hobby. they wind up breaking off into pairs to play games, saburo with dice played backgammon (saburo lost lol), rei and hitoya on chinese checkers (rei lost lol), and doppo and rio went off to play ping pong

3️⃣🎲⚖️0️⃣ were having a chill time until a very loud sound came from the ping pong room and it turns out rio served the ball a little too hard and it indented into the wall, and poor doppo was cowering and crying in fear LOL. hitoya told him to GET UP lmao just imagine it's his boss and that works like a charm; doppo serves so hard rio couldn't even react, giving doppo his win 😌

I don’t know if you’re accepting asks about your Soryuu Sensei Hakuji au, but I love it and was curious—Hakuji nearly got caught drinking blood in the first section, so how does he go about hiding the fact that he can’t digest human food? Knowing the Kamados I bet they’ve peer pressured him about joining them for dinner a million times, so would Hakuji just have to come up with a series of increasingly ridiculous excuses, or would he get stuck eating with them and just have to take the L and deal with the tummy ache later? Figures people would start to get suspicious if nobody has seen this boy eat in literally years lmao does he have a way to get around that?🤍

yknow this entire time ive just been imagining him as some sort of basement cryptid? the same way that kids dont really think abt their teachers existing outside of a space, i figured hakuji was probably attached to his basement dojo like that.

youre right tho, the kamados have probably tried to strong arm their kids' 18yo-lookin' soryuu sensei to dinner. 😂 i think probably tanjuro and kie know he's not human and just roll with it, similar to how tanjiro thinks hakuji's a vampire but leaves it alone cuz "he smells like a good person." he's gotta inherit it from somewhere!

they prob get him to come over and just tell their kids he's got a sensitive stomach and hakuji just grabs onto the lifeline with both hands and doesnt question it lol. hakuji has, however, still taken the L and suffered through some cupcakes from the younger ones bc he couldnt say no. tanjiro caught him hurling out back later and decided to help him out from then on (and also added a bullet point to his "hakuji-sensei is a vampire" list).
